Unless you have a new state-of-the-art computer, forget it.
Microsoft has always boasted about Flight Simulator taxing the machines that are out there, but this time they have gone too far. I am running a Dell 3.6 Gig, with 3 Gig of memory, a 512 MB Nvidia card and I still have to turn down the settings to get "smooth play."
Disappointment with Amazon
Amazon led me to believe it was availible for shipment, only to get my money. I have been posponed now three times. I have 2 friends who have recieved there orderes as promised (by a different vendor). This is the last purchase from Amazon I will make. I don't expect to receive a refund.

One of the best flight sims on the market
Flight Simulator X is the newest edition and graphically the best of the flight simulators on the market. Many of the graphics has been improved since flight simulator 2004 like the ground textures. It really looks like the real world. You can even pinpoint many recognizable highways and roads from your own city. Also mountain ranges look much better. Many of the mountains are sculpted to their acutal sizes and makes it very realistic. The graphics have more depth than in 2004 version and when the new Windows Vista comes out, the graphics will look even more realistic than it is currently. There are also more planes in this game. Included are the usual Boeing and Cessnas, but there are also new jets like a glider, which is towed by another airplane. You can even go to websites to get more planes and decals for free like (Delta, Southwest) by googling the search flight simulator x downloads. Websites like simviation give you a lot of variety and can make it much more realistic. Another feature is the missions. Some of the mission include just getting from point a to point b. Others include landing a plane on a moving bus, or rescuing people in the middle of the ocean. This new mode adds a lot more depth and you even earn rewards for completing them.

Yesterday, I purchased this game and waited for what seemed like an eternity at work for me to play it.
Loving it!
I love this game. If you are looking to challenge your Sims game then I recommend this. There are so many options to create and design your animals from coat textures, color, structure.I also love the interactions that you can have with your pets.But like I said it is a challenge when you factor in taking care of babies, kids, spouses and pets. Makes the game alot more realistic.I recommed also getting the Prima guide. Great system, in the handheld or console market
If I had to pick one system to play exclusively, based on several factors, I'd choose the DS. Now, I'm glad I have the option (i.e. money) to keep purchasing home consoles, but if in some bizarro world where I could only take one system... well, you get the idea. In a way, the DS reminds me of the PS2. It's a bargain. It's backwards compatible so it plays GBA game. The games are abundandt and perhaps more importantly they are varied and around $30. You can't go wrong.

An Innovative Gaming System
About a month ago, I decided to purchase my first game system since the origional NES. I got the DS, and I must say I love it. Somehow, they have found an idea that seemed to only be a gimmick (the dual screens) and turn it into something new and fun. So far, I have bought New Super Mario Brothers, Mario 64 DS, Metroid Prime: Hunters, Mario Kart, and a Japan-English dictionary program (my main justification for buying it in the first place). It is a great way to kill 5 min. or kill a few hours. Once you get used to using the stylus, it becomes very natural.

Totally not what I expected
I bought the Xbox 360 premium system 3 weekends ago and I took it back for a full refund the following weekend.I had trouble with the console locking up on me, and overheating.It was only a matter of 2 or 3 minutes of turning it on when it began to blow hot heat out the back of the console......it was just like having a space heater running in my bedroom. I assume it was on it's way to the "Ring Of Death" and that's why I took it back. The games aren't that great either. I feel the system was very rushed and has poor quality in the machines.My advice is avoid the Xbox 360.The origial Xbox is twice the machine and I have never had any problems with it.

Exactly the same as last year pretty much!
I got 2007 this past Saturday. After I put the game in, I noticed that there is hardly any change at all from last year's game graphic wise, features, rosters, still no player introductions for the starters, no pre-game report on any players or the teams, come on the game needs some improvements! Also just like last years game if you release a player from one team, and then pick him up for another team it says in the players bio he was aquired in a trade instead of being pick up off waivers or free agency, now that's silly! Also, I noticed that only so many players even have their real face put on their body, that keeps getting worse every year, so I guess there is a change from last year's, but it's for the worse! Play wise it is still a decent game to play, but I still would prefer NFL 2K5. Madden 2007 also freezes for about 3 seconds after every 3 or 4 plays too, that's a little annoying! As I said NFL 2K5 is the better play still! 2K5 has the halftime shows, Sportscenter highlights done up in a quick NFL Primetime or ESPN Blitz style. Overall I give Madden 2007 3 stars for fun, but as a whole 2.5 out of 5. Please improve next year's Madden features please!!!

Proving a point...
Ok, to start off maybe it's the Madden curse for a reason! But that's beside the point... anyway,I actually think this is a fun game but it is still worse than 06,05,and 04 fo that matter. The changes this game has from 06 are hard to find and when you do find them THEY ARE HORRIBLE! The new superstar mode is so bad that when my superstar was in his 12th year and had more passing TD's than Brett Favre and Dan Marino he was still not at Hall of Fame status! Also in 06 I liked getting an RB's body makeup in superstar and making him a speedy QB... no doing that anymore. The new running system must have looked good on paper but it sure doesn't in the game. Besides the fact that they spelled Tiki Barber's name Tike you can tell that they were very sloppy and didn't care much how this game turned out knowing it would still have people buying it just because it has the Madden label on it! My advice if you really must have it to see for yourself, then ok, but if not buy ESPN NFL 2k5!!

This game s pretty good. The game is basicly the same as madden 06. Their is a new thing called a Blocking Control. Its pretty sweet. Like madden 06 their is a mode called superstar HALL OF FAME. In this mode you create yourself. You pick your parents, take the IQ test, go through the draft and play. The object in this mode is at the end of your career to go into the NFL hall of fame. Avoid EA and their greed.
The game itself is good, but not all that different from the last Battlefield game. It's essentially the same game in a futuristic setting. EA wants you to pay $50 for a rehashed game loaded with in-game ads and spyware? How about passing some of that advertising money along to the consumer instead of charging $50 for a polished up version of one of your old games?

Alright... We've heard a LOT about viruses and the like...A lot of the stuff being said is inaccurate,But the crux of the matter is that 2142 IS adware.

Absolutely the worst idea in years. Not only are you paying a premium price for this but they are adding mandatory advertisements in game as well as installing internet monitoring spyware on your computer. Pokemon dungeon blue review
This was an awesome game I like the concept of being a pokemon but I found that catching pokemon is alot more fun than being a pokemon I also dont like the rescue team concept it could be alot better but I think that this game is headed torward younger kids like 5-10 I kinda liked it though. cool game good rating from me
It's awsome!
In the game you go on missions, as a pokemon. The graphis are ok, but the game can get a little frustrating. Sometimes you get mad because your on the last floor and your partner dies, or you get tripple teamed. If you are a Pokemon fan, this is a must have, but if your not, wait for Diamond and Peral coming out in 2007 because the RPG games are better. Don't get me wrong though, this is a great game!

A Girl's Dream Come True
I have loved pokemon since I was 8 or 9 years old.(I am now 12.) At times this love for pokemon may have faded a little, but the arrival of pokemon dungeon has definitely strengthened it. After all, isn't it a bunch of kids' dreams to be a pokemon?

One of the best games of the year
Anyone can pick up this game and play - it is so simple and addicting. Some people might be turned off by the fact that it is so easy, but that's what makes the game so great for me and other casual gamers. Even if you're not a huge Star Wars fan, this game is still a lot of fun. I even enjoyed watching the cut scenes because they're so funny. I ended up also buying the game on my PSP because I knew I'd be more motivated to play through and unlock everything in the game if I could play it on the go.

This is the best pokemon yet
if you like pokemon This is the game for you. You Take a personality quiz to determine which pokemon you are (I ended up as Cyndaquil) Then you choose your partner ( I chose Mudkip) then you start doing a series of rescue missions in dungeons. The bosses are legendary pokemon (of course). Yes everything is randomly generated but that is what keeps it interesting If you did the same thing over and over again you wouldn'tAnd you don't evolve until the end but it's still fun even if you don't evolve for a while.Whatever anyone said this game is not repetitive (well if you like pokemon anyway. A Wonderful Experience
I've been a fan of Pokemon in all of its various forms for several years now, so I've seen the gradual evolution of the games, and I have mostly enjoyed them. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is something entirely different though, and I have to say that in my opinion it is by far the best of the lot.

Must have
When I upgraded to the 360 I was a bit saddened that I would not be able to use my controller with a built in fan, but these wireless controllers are amazing.
I found only one problem with this controller
The controller is excellent but for some reason the creator put four little knots on the controller joystick I have no ideal why but if you use this controller to play a fast paced game like boxing watch out, because the tips of your thumb will hurt, I am talking real pain. It takes the fun out of the game you are playing. I would give this controller a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the 4 knots on the joystick, hopefully more people will complain and they will remove them.This shows that the developers don't play the games long enough.

Finially a wireless controller without lag
This is the first wireless controller that I have ever used that didn't LAG constantly.In fact mine has never lagged not even when the batteries were low.The range is more than enough for any room in my home.Actually I have taken it outside between online mathces and kept chatting with the other players so it even works through doors and windows.Great product that I now have two of them and have retired the wired controller. ... Ninjas on Fire

First let me start by stating that I am a Dawn of War addict.I beta tested the first Dawn of War and have been hooked ever since.One of my chief complaints with the first two installments was that with the first Dawn of War there was only one single-player campaign for the Space Marines and none for the other races.In Winter Assault there were two campaigns that made you play two races per campaign.Personally I'd have preferred a Starcraft style of game where each race had its own campaign with a more developed storyline.With Dark Crusade they finally got it somewhat right.You can play the campaign mode with any of the seven races you want.Currently I am playing with the Tau and have only just beaten the Necron race but the story and cut scenes involved the Tau and the Necrons so I have to assume that each race also gets their own storyline and cut scenes (which possibly explains why the game was shipped on a DVD).Needless to say this game has huge replay value because you can play through the campaign with each of the races.Many fans also started creating maps for the first two installments that could be played via internet or skirmish mode so I'd imagine the same will happen for Dark Crusade also increasing replay value.If there is one problem with this game it would be that some of the existing races have been limited in the number of top tier forces that you can build.This forces people who have been playing for a while to come up with new strategies to make up for the fact that they will be stuck with using bottom tier forces throughout the game.However, THQ has shown that they are committed to balancing the game so I am sure that as they get feedback from the fans that they will fix a few balance issues via patches as they did with the previous installments.For example, I have found that on skirmish mode at standard or higher difficulty it is almost impossible for the Imperial Guard to defeat the Necrons, the Imperial Guard starting forces are just too weak for their cost and until a barracks is created they can't create them in enough numbers to defend themselves whereas the Necrons can start pumping out their basic troops from the very get go.I am pretty sure that THQ will probably put a limit on the number of troops that can be produced until a particular structure is built but at this point it is a little unbalanced.

Definitely New, Not So Interactive...
...which is ok.I think if they made this game fully controlled by the stylus and touchpad it would make it a bit wacky. Sort of like Mario 64 DS.And like Mario Kart, you have the 2nd screen as your map.But you can also use it to use items whenever you like and also jump from area to area whenever you want.
Purty darn good
It is a lot of fun. It's a lot like the old one the side-to-side view. There are tons of levels. But the problem is that the game is pretty easy to beat. I've already beaten it like 10 times. The minigames are all right but a lot of them are from Super Mario 64 DS. I haven't gotten to play the versus a friend yet but that seems fun. I highly recommend this game.

Lotta FunOld School Style
It's a fun game. If you like Super Mario don't miss. It wasn't as good as previous classic games like SMB, SMB 3, or SMBW but it sure is fun. I played every level except the last one is too hard. I looked up the video on YouTube and decided that was good enough. I hate, hate, hate, when levels are too hard and you have to be a computer to pass them. The last level is the only hard one. I tried about 25 times and gave up and watched the video online. If a game is too hard I'm not going to sit there all day doing the same thing over and over again. Game Of The Year!!!!!
When I first looked at this game in the store I wasn't real sure about it.I was totally surprised when I got it home and tried it out.It starts out slow but that is only to prepare you for what is to come!It has the greatest storyline and add great graphics, wonderful characters and easy to learn controls.Put all that together and you have OKAMI!!I am an avid gamer I love all types but mainly enjoy action/adventure.I am a 36 year old mother of 4 and I so enjoy sitting down with my kids and kicking their butt (in a game of coarse)we all have so much fun together.I know that alot of people look down at video games in general but I DO SPEND QUALITY TIME with my kids!Anyway, this game was an absolute masterpiece!It had it all!I have played god Of War, Samari Warriors 1,2 & EX. Legends, Dynasty Warriors, Norrath, Balders Gate just to name a few.This game was the icing on the cake!I have never written reviews about any games before but I just couldn't keep from saying something about this game!!I plan to play it over and over because I know there is plenty more to do in this game that I may have missed the first time.This game has to be a qualifier for, if not the winner for GAME OF THE YEAR!!!!

With the PS2's life cycle coming to an end, there are hardly any new games that are anything remotely spectacular.Capcom's Okami however, is just that, and it's not just one of the best games to ever grace the PS2, it's one of the most original games you'll ever play.The first thing you'll notice about Okami is the game's incredibly unique art style and graphics, which are some of the best to ever grace the PS2.Seriously, this game looks incredible, you won't believe your eyes.Okami's storyline is based on Japanese legend dealing with the sun god Amaterasu, who you play as in the form of a white wolf, and the epic quest that awaits him.Now, what truly sets Okami apart from the rest of the pack is the caligraphy-esque celestial brush that you must use to advance throughout the game.Need a bridge?Draw it.Need to dispatch a pesky enemy?Draw him in half.This brush adds a new dynamic to the gameplay which is fresh and unique, and makes you wonder why no one has ever tried anything like it before in a game of this type.There's loads of side quests and mini-games as well, adding to the length of Okami which truly make it an epic game, and all of which help make this one of the best games ever on the PS2.If there's anything bad to say about Okami, it's that the combat can get too easy at spots, but that is only an extremely minor gripe.All in all, Okami is just the thing that PS2 owners have been waiting and yearning for.An original, epic adventure that doesn't get stale and provides some of the most unique and mouth watering graphics you'll ever see.If you own a PS2, Okami is an absolute must own, and it's one of the best games you'll ever play.

This is too cute!
I had an old skool ds, and it was ok. When they released the lite, I was skeptical about it. It was right after the Microsoft 360 scandal, and I was critical of new technology. I wanted to wait until it had been out a few months to pick one up, to see if it had any glitches. I'm glad I waited, because they released the coral pink one! I picked it up the first day, and it's so adorable and perfect. The ability to change the light levels is great, the old ds was hard to play outside because you couldn't really adjust the lighted screen.

My brother and sister got the teal and pink Nintendogs bundles last year with the regular DS in them so I've had a chance to try them out.I wasn't sure whether I wanted the Nintendo DS, PSP, or anything like this at all.However, I decided to go with the DS now after playing around with theirs.

A fun game...with some glaring oversights for the Star Wars faithful
All of the reviewers got this one right.This is a very fun game with some good graphics and improved action over the first.I would be remissed if I did not bring up a few issues.Bear with me as these are coming from a Star Wars fanatic.
Cool Game!!!!
I just got this game today and all I could say was WOW!The graphics are phenomenal and the color is out of this world.The level 2 was somewhat hard but I was able to make it through it (since I am considered a pro!)Star Wars was so impressed with my playing ability, they have asked me to review all of their games so be on the watchout for some harder games to come!I have purchased every single game and am looking for a player who can beat me, although I doubt it will happen.

Great for all kids - all of us that never grew up
The original Lego Star Wars was a great little lighthearted romp of a game: an amusing way to play out the three most recent Star Wars films in virtual form. The Lego and Star Wars combo proved to also be a terrific formula for the game space, generating an experience in Lego Star Wars that was oftentimes even more entertaining than the source material it was based on. Like any good sequel, Lego Star Wars II improves on the original in almost every way. But most importantly, it's about the good episodes now. Fun at first, lost interest quickly.
I was excited about this game and purchased a DS Lite primarily for its purpose.The game is certainly fun for a week or so, but I pretty quickly lost interest.Parts can certainly be challenging for a while, but others are simply aggravating.Text recognition is spotty and as a result scores and progress often suffer unnecessarily.I will say the game is much more fun when several people are playing it daily and progress is compared.Even so, the novelty quickly wears off.Fun game, but more of a quick fad than anything.

Innovative...
This is latest DS game I have purchased, and somehow it happens to be educational AND fun. It gives you fifteen different training tasks and sudoku to boost your Brain Age (20 years being best and 80 worst). They're all preaty neat in that they all use the touch screen or MIC. The only problem is that sometimes the writing and voice recognition of numbers and words isn't so great. Besides that, the games like the math facts and sudoku are VERY addictive. So I recommend this for the cheap price ($20) and addictiveness, which is well worth it.

Useless buggy recognition code
The concept for this game is strong, and it's got some cute ideas, but the voice recognition - especially for the word "blue" - and the character recognition is abysmal.It makes the "game" an exercise in frustration, more than anything else.

Great Fun (While It Lasted)
This was one of the most enjoyable Nancy Drew games we've played in a long while.The graphics are the best ever, the voice acting, as usual, is very good (Frank Hardy excepted), and the puzzles are fun and fit nicely into the story line. It was also very cool to be able to switch between playing as Nancy or one of the boys. Very cleverly done.But for 20 bucks, you absolutely do not get your money's worth in playing time. I would suggest that Heractive either start making these games twice as long or start charging half as much if they want to maintain their fan base.

Wonderful!
I loved the new technology incorporated into this fun game. The only complaint I have is that it ended to soon; I wanted it to go on forever!

Short and sweet
This game was fairly simple and was fairly short.There were a lot of situations that could have been developed further, as though the story just hung on bits and pieces.Overall, however, it was fun, as all ND games are, and I think any ND fan will enjoy it--as long as you aren't expecting a huge challenge and a really long game! ... There should be more games like this for the DS
I finally got a DS and one of the first "older" games I tried to hunt down for this wonderful system was Phoenix Wright.I've been "Jonesing" for this game for awhile now.It's unique and entertaining.The choices for the court sections can be kind of linear but it's too much fun to not "love" this title.
An Ace for Phoenix Wright
One of the best DS games I ever had. It does not take to be a lawyer to get fully satisfied with this game. Although this is a heavily text-based game (I mean really heavy!), you won't get tired of reading the storylines and following the details. I know you won't find this in any stores nowadays so try to order here at Amazon. This game's one of the best!
