no mercy is 1 of da best wrestling games next wm 2000 this game had improved but i still say they could have been a little bit better da rock is a decent looking guy but looks like crap n this game Stephanie McMahon is pretty but looks like a 50 cent ugly ho chyna at da time n da 1999-2000 era looked considerly pretty but looked like dean malenko i have 2 admit da create a wrestler allowed me 2 use my imagination and let my creativity go 2 a new level and create people or shall i say things that i never thought i would b able 2 create da ppv of da game is well detail but i would have added some more animation n da ppv design of each ppv when u r playing u can't c da animation of da ppv like raw 2000 smackdown 2000 u have 2 go 2 da back of da stage 2 c da animation of da stage move but i think da creators did that so da game players wouldn't b 2 distracted from actually playing da game i also found da wrestler entrance 2 be 2 short that's right folks they don't show da whole wrestler's entrance like they did n wm 2000 that would have made 4 a better game because a wrestler entrance is like watching a celebrity version of pep ralley before a big game or match u want 2 be as excited as possible how can u be excited if u can't c da hole entrance show i am glad they add da ladder match but i would have added tlc matches but u can sort of have ur own tlc match by using da announcer's table and da chair from da crowd's and finally da ladder during da ladder match other than da other flaws this is a near perfect videogame u won't rarely be bored by being your favorite wrestlers u look up 2 also then there r some decent club music 2 get u n da groove u can even use da provided music n da game 2 chill out with a friend or by yourself here is what u do make urself a nice bath and turn da music up n da game very high so u can heard it and just chill with a bottle of anything u want 2 have and just listen 2 da game's music

Horrible just plain Horrible
The year is 2002. President bush is plaining an invasion on Iraq because of threats of Nuclear weapons, America is entertained with American Idol. And the WWE just celebrated another Wrestlemania. In 2002 thq came out with this wrestling game. When I saw it I thought it was going to be one of the best wrestling games. But I was wrong. The controls are easy. But the game is bad. If your stone cold and you nail the stunner they get up right away. Just like on smackdown you can pop a finisher anytime. The Music is bad. And the story mode is god awful. If your champion you don't come out with the belt. My friends don't get Smackdown (err) I mean Wrestlemania X8 Get Day of reckoning. This game is very bad and should have never been created. Shame on you THQ For this game. Shame Shame Shame

WWE RAW - PC GAME REVIEW
Hi all,

This game was my first experience with wrestling games and i later found out that this was the only good game for wrestling which currently exists in PC!!!! Why THQ is not releasing any future releases is still a mystery?!!! According to me there is no doubt that this game rocks in graphics and sound. A full 10 for that!!!

But the game play is quite boring after some time.. Also the unrealistic grapple..i.e hold and grapple was quite annoying...

The inclusion of ladder match and cage match could have made this game topped the charts!! But unfortunately it was not there...

Also the rocks elbow was a mystery move to me.. It happened suddenly in one game..But how to do it properly is still a mystery to me. Any one who can help with it send a mail to haran_3k@rediffmail.com. Also one tip to win every match very easily is this.. Just as ur opponent falls down..Just cover him and keep on tapping s and d together(i.e the same key which u tap to escape from pin).. That's it..He can't escape from ur pin.. I'm not sure this a flaw or what?

Finally a decent wrestling game for PC!
I'm a big fan of both old WWF and WWE and since I never owned PS1, PS2, X-Box, or Gamecube, I always wanted a wretling game to come out for PC. I searched for PC wrestling games online and I found WCW Nitro and few other 2D games that's practically dead (WWF In Your House, etc). So I tried the WCW Nitro demo and I was surpriesed! I was so surprised of the gameplay, graphics, and sound! I was amazed. Amazingly bad and hard and it was boring! So eventually, I gave up on the only PC wrestling game that I knew of. Until, I read from a magazine that WWE RAW was coming to PC. I couldn't been anymore excited. So right away I got it after it came out and started playing it as soon as I got home. I was again, amazed. I was amazed by the graphics, sounds, and gameplay. The graphics are tremendous and so is the sound. There are no commentary but that's no big deal to me. The entrances were pretty impressive like the Undertakers entrance and few other entrances like Hardy Boys. The gameplay was good but controls were hard to get used to at first. Only real dissapoinment that I had in the game was the difficulty, controls, and types of games. There was no storyline modes like the console versions but I came up with my own :)
Just don't expect something extraordinary. I gave it 5 stars because it's the only good wrestling game for PC. If this game was compared to other wrestling games for consoles then I would've gave it about 3 1/2 stars. Anyway, this game is very good game to have and must have for PC gamers. Sorry if this wasn't helpful to you. I was in a hurry.

WWE Raw for the pc is quite a okay game. Isnt the best game or the worst game in the market.The graphics are okay.The sound is okay and the real raw music is there.There is also a good amount of replay value. Of course not as good as raw 2 on x-box or Smackdown on ps2.There are good elements and bad elements. You can smash a table but you cannot climb a ladder.There is no storymode involved in the game which makes it a bit boring. There is a cool museum mode where you can see your favourite wrestling biographys. There is a good tutorial at the beginning to help you out. It is hard to go backstage.There is no commentary.When you press c you can attack superstars when their on their way to the ring.There are a large amount of superstars to choose from including Kurt Angle and Triple H.There are bone shatering finishing moves and loads of match types to choose from.No hell in a cell,ladder or table match.Reasonable entrances, very authentic. It's a really fun game.But there are a few setbacks:
+You can make your own pay per view
-You can almost never do the specials
+You can re-live Wrestlemania 18 matche
-It's missing some good wrestlers like:Big Show, Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero, Brock Lesnar, ect.

Road to W.M.18 IS REALLY GREAT FOR A GAMEBOY GAME. The graphics are amazing, and the entrances are pretty good, as well as the all the finishing moves. You can play in Cage, Hardcore,Handicap
Lumberjack, Fatal Four Way, ironman, and submission, king of the ring and royal rumble. You Can also choose from 5 different pay-per-views to make, including wrestlemania. The only problem with this game is that there's only 16 superstars and none of them are stone cold. They also Shopzone, where you can get cool stuff by winning things like the hardcore, tag team, intercontinental, and Undisputed titles.(remeber this, to get a high enough score for pay per views, make all matches long and brutal with tons of moves).
