5-0 out of 5 stars Totally cool!!!!!
I recommend this game for people who like adventure's! Wario
can not die, he can only lose coins!! At the end of each level there is a game where you use up 50 coins and there is a number behind blocks and you guess what the number is!! This is a very fun game and I recommend it for those game freaks out there!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars This is the best!
This is the BEST game I have ever played. The REAL final chapter is awsome! You have to beat one of the game`s many Giant Spearmen (Which are actually GIANT Gooms)without touching the floor! And there are SIX different final bosses, and after you beat the game you get to play a mini game Flagman D.D. (which is just like Simon). I would recomend this game to EVERYONE!

5-0 out of 5 stars This game is GREAT!

    Editorial Review

Classic arcade action is unleashed on the Game Boy Advance in Final Fight One. There's trouble in Metro City: the members of the Mad Gear Gang have kidnapped the mayor's daughter, Jessica, and the clock is ticking. The mayor, an ex-street fighter himself, calls in the big guns to help, enlisting the iron-fist team of Cody and Guy. Now it's a race against time as you must scour the city, defeat an army of the Mad Gear Gang's minions, and rescue Jessica before it's too late. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Another solid beat 'em up!
If you're a Streets of Rage or Double Dragon fan then Final Fight will no-doubt appeal to you. I only ever played it in the arcade once about 13 years ago but I was a cool game indeed. This Gameboy Advance version is identical to the Arcade but with a few more touches added such as new cut-scenes and animations and a couple of hidden levels.

Since I am such a wimp when it comes to games I did complete this on my fourth go (on the easiest setting) but I did notice a LOT of similarities between this and SOR in regards to the baddies, level progression and power-ups. That's not a bad thing but I only wish it lasted a little longer. Still it's a cool game and definitely worth getting.

5-0 out of 5 stars Game Boy Player?!
This is an excellent game from the late 80's and the gameboy port is about 99% exactly like the arcade version. The 1% that's inaccurate are the changes of the female fighter into the male fighter Sid/Billy and that when Haggar grabs an enemy...he holds them by the upper arms/shoulders. In the arcade version he grabbed them around their necks! That male fighter has the exact same moves as the female but was changed for reasons unknown to me. This is a great game and worth your money if you loved this in the arcades back in the day.

    This game ROCKS!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars One of Capcom's greatest fighters now on the gba
I played this game about 11 years ago on SNES but it didn't have Guy as a character choice (you had to purchase either final fight Guy for the SNES or Final Fight CD for the Sega CD)The game remains faithful or close to the arcade version names of the bad guys are the names used in the arcade and not the SNES version. The car smashing bonus gane is included and there was another but it escapes me at the minute.I have the game boy player for the cube and it looks good on a 29" screen.I think if you have not played final fight one you should the price is under $20 and it is fun I also think the graphics even edge out the old snes version.A recommended buy ... My bose headphones don't sit right in this adaptor's jack. If I keep pressure on my headphone plug, it works fine, but when I let go, as would be expected in normal use, I only get audio in the right ear. Seems to me the jack doesn't quite have the right measurements.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is Awesome!!!
Everyone whose anyone whose got the SP should get it!!
I'm BIG on music so I gotta have it my way(Like I do in B.K.)

P.S. - If you're gonna use this, then at least get a game with a decent soundtrack such as A Link To The Past(which I also got offa Amazon.com)

5-0 out of 5 stars GameBoy SP and a long Trip
We went on our annual trip to Maine. With the SP's having only rechargable batteries, what were we to do when the kids SP's batteries drained. It's a long ride from NJ to ME.Plus we were staying in a cabin with no electricity (out final destination).

The car adaptor was a fantastic way for the kids to take their Gameboys with them for the trip and keep them charged up.

As a parent, I'm very thankful someone came up with this product.

5-0 out of 5 stars Practical
As far as car adapters go this is great, it does what it was made to do just fine. Its a very useful product to have when driving long distances, you don't have to worry about buying a spare battery for your Gameboy you just slot it into the power outlet in your car and your all set.

It does what it was designed to do, no more, no less, 5 Stars.

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT FOR ADULTS WHO DON'T WANT TO PLAY ADULT GAMES!
THIS IS A GREAT GAME FOR THOSE ADULTS WHO GET FRUSTRATED WITH COMPLEX GAMES. THE GRAPHICS ARE ADORABLE IF YOU ARE A POOH/PIGLET FAN. THIS GAME WOULD BE DIFFICULT FOR KIDS WHO CAN'T READ. THE CODES MAY CONFUSE YOUR KIDS AS WELL. GREAT MINDLESS ENTERTAINMENT FOR THOSE WHO DON'T WANT TO THINK AND PLAY AT THE SAME TIME!

3-0 out of 5 stars Not for Little Ones
The game is really neat, but it is not designed for children who cannot read. You have to be able to read in order to understand what to do, and the "doing" is a little complicated as well.It looks really cool, but unless you as the adult want to keep playing, the child you buy it for should be able to read and follow directions well.

4-0 out of 5 stars NOT for everyone!
someone has got to come up with a better rating scale..this game is NOT for "E" everyone!! you MUST read and follow the directions! I'm so glad i opened and played this game before giving it to my 5 year old for Easter, she would have been crushed getting a game she couldn't play! go buy Dora if this is for a younger player! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game
My daughter received this game for her 3rd birthday. She is a big Dora fan and loves it.

5-0 out of 5 stars *MUCH* Better Than I Expected!!
This game was one I was dying to try. I like Dora The Explorer & I am 22 yrs old. My little 3 year old cousin is the one who got me to like it. I would watch it with her. My cousin has this game & I only have 3-4 more levels and I will have the game beaten. I still want to buy it though. Although, I can play with her's until I do.

There was one part with the snake that I was stuck on for about five minutes. You, think oh this is a kid's game & it will be super easy. Wrong...think again. Some worlds have bats & snakes that are hard to get around.

Overall, I would give this GBA game 5 star's.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent buy!
We got this game for my 5 year old daughter. She hasn't put it down since Christmas. She loves the game.I think it is challenging enough for her with the jumping and so forth. The only downfall, because it is geared for younger children, is that the story should be spoken out loud instead of the words being there and if they don't know how to read, they don't know what they are saying.Other than that, my daughter loves it so it was a good buy! ... Magical versions of Roy and a feminine Hiryu (Strider by CAPCOM),
VENTURE into the world of this wonderful remake! 4 costumes, Fire, Magical, and 2 others, make this one ultra fun game! I'd rather control Minnie than Mickey, (SHE DON'T GET ENOUGH ATTENTION) besides, poor Minnie has a weak football team, so she makes up for it in the long run by being Mickey's partner in this game! YEAH!

1-0 out of 5 stars Too Violent
My 7 year old daughter got this game for Christmas and it gave her nightmares. She gave it to me and told me she doesn't like it because it is so violent. ALl throught the game the cat is getting smashed over the head by a bat over and over and other acts of violence. This should not be for kids. It should not have an "E" rating. It just encourages and glorifies violence. We wouldn't have even opened it if we knew what was in the game.

3-0 out of 5 stars ok game
well i got this game. i was really excited. the game is alot of fun. well i have only got to the second level. when u get this game, in the instructions it says that u can have a password and type in the password to start from the level u ended with. but i dont understand where to type the password. so i dont play the game because i hate playing the same levels.

4-0 out of 5 stars Tom and Jerry are the bomb!
I played this game only to the third level. Durning those levels i realized some things. They are the graphics, the speacial abilities, and the many languages you can choose from. Also in a way you could a new language because say if your friend has a gameboy advance and the game. You could start it to be in the same place at the same time. Then you could pick say french and you friend will pick english. You could understand to say the word in french. I feel that this deserves for everyone to play. This game on the other hand is not that hard and not that easy. I wanted to play it again and try to see if i could go to a higher level and i fell in the first and second level. My opinion is that when you play Jerry it will be better for starters because you could see the difference between him and the enemies. In the levels you will have the opportunity to use different equipments to kill your enemies. The orange like cats are the harder ones because they take time to get rid of but, when you kill them you get cheeses from them and that will help but i don't know how. You should becareful if you pick tom because you might not be able to see the difference between Tom and the enemies. You will have the chance to play with both because in all there are 6 levels i think and up to level 3 will be one person and the rest will be with the one you didn't choose. This game will make you feel happy and you won't regret you bought it. BUY ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Hassle but Quality Game
This game has great graphics and challeging Levels. Note that the other reviews talk about the difficulty of Level 3, and until I realized Shrek could run, it was hard for me as well. After learning that I got passed it on the second try. There is a Level that you need to escape from the castle/dragon and THAT was very hard. Having some challenges makes for a good game to me. Overall, if you know how to move the players, Shrek is a very fun and challenging game. Wouldn't recommend for younger kids however, possibly a little too difficult.

2-0 out of 5 stars Hard and Boring
Oh my gosh, this game is awful!! The first couple of levels are okay but after that the game is almost impossible, unless I'm missing something, this game is not very well explained, there seems to be no way at all to get past Level 3-1, ugh, I haven't even picked this game up in a couple months for fear of becoming extremely frustrated again. Not only that but the character controls are very slow and frustrating. The only good part are the graphics. Don't buy this!!

5-0 out of 5 stars WOW
Incredible graphics, gameplay and sound. Its great. you explore massive levels littered with many enemys, and shoot anything that moves. there are timed excapes and its relatively close to the pc version(game play wise). everything is interactable, if you shoot the toilet it breaks and spurts water, if you shoot the candy machine it explodes. All of his catch phrases are here, such as dam im good, hail to the king, bitchin, and kick ass. to be honest they curse alot in this game. when ever you dont have the key to open a locked door he says somthing like dammit or son of a bitch. its a great fps, one of the best.

3-0 out of 5 stars It is fun, but the PC version of Duke Nukem 3d is better!
The two reasons why I suggest the PC version version is:

    1. You can download .map files on the internet, which means, MORE LEVELS!!
    2. The PC version is original, not ported.

So if you plan to get this game for GBA, think again.

5-0 out of 5 stars Come Get Some. . . On The GBA!!!
Hands down the best FPS available for the GBA. It was the 6th FPS released for the system. Duke Nukem Advance brings all the attitude and fire power to the small screen in a richly detailed FPS. The game feautures 4 exotic locations taking you to Area 51, the Temple of Amun in Egypt, the streets of Sydney, Austrailia, and an alien ship orbiting earth. The game feauters 10 fun weapons from your mighty boot to a shrink ray. All of the classic enemies from the original Duke Nukem 3D are intact with a few welcome editions. This is not only the best FPS for Game Boy but, in my expert opinion, the best game for Game Boy! This is definitely top-notch stuff! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars this game is AWSOME!!!:)
I am 12yrs old, and this is my very first GameBoy game. I just got it this morning, and I already solved all the levels!!! This is a really fun game to play nonstop for hours. I would especially recommend this game for beginner GameBoy players. It is really colorful, and the graphics are amazing! All sabrina fans should enjoy this game. I would say that it is as fun as watching an episode of the Sabrina The Teenage Witch series!
All the levels are really fun. the cool thing about this game is that you get to learn spells and use magic! you can also play minigames if the quizmaster desides to challenge you. If you solve these minigames, you either get more spellpoints or more lifes.
Anyway, I recommend this game to girls of all ages, especially Sabrina The Teenage Witch fans!!!

This time he's heard tales of a golden pyramid--which is enough to send the big blowhard scurrying off to the nearest jungle. He finds the place, but before he can collect his treasure he'll have to undergo a brain- and body-bending series of challenges. Four guardians stand jealously over the four sections of the pyramid. Wario will either have to defeat each guardian or activate a switch and escape before time runs out. No longer invincible, Wario will have to replenish his health meter by gathering pieces of heart. While exploring the pyramid, Wario gets flat and heavy, and undergoes other transformations. Minigames provide more diversions on the way to the final showdown with the pyramid boss. ... Read more

    5-0 out of 5 stars It's cool
Wario Land 4, in my opinion, is one of the best games for the GBA. It's way better than the Super Mario Advance games as it's a little easier and has better levels. The levels are well designed and are beautifully colored. The boss battles are a blast and the mini-games are rewarding. Playing the mini-games earns you some coins that you can use to buy gagets and goodies for the boss battles. The music is even cool in it's own unique way. This game might be a bit on the easy side but it never gets really tedious.

5-0 out of 5 stars BEST WARIO GAME EVER!!!!!!!
This is a great game I couldnt ask for more!!!!!The graphics and sounds are great and funny too! The bosses are challenging but hey thats what make them fun and exciting. The mini games are also pretty good. I also enjoy all the different worlds and collecting the money. Overall I would reccomend this game to anyone who wants a fun time! 10/10!!

Although the game will seem very familiar to Sonic fans, SonicAdvance is an entirely new creation that's been built from the ground up.The gameplay, graphics, and sound borrow from the classic Sonic games on theGenesis and are successfully translated to the Game Boy Advance. The game'ssingle-player modes are relatively short 2-D platform rounds--each run takes twoto three hours--but replay value is added through the game's various characters.Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy each have different abilities that make gettingthrough the game a unique experience.

The real star here is the game's link capabilities. The Chao Garden allows youto raise your little critters and upload them to the GameCube via the link cable andSonic Adventure 2:Battle. Having one cartridge lets up to four GBA players compete in oneminigame. Gamers can play two additional minigames if each player owns acartridge. Although the single-player game is quite good, the link options givethe title tremendous value.

The only notable problem stems from the series itself: There are still entirelytoo many cheap deaths resulting from the title's high-speed gameplay. You'llfind yourself zipping along a level only to be hit by an obstacle you had littlechance of seeing, let alone avoiding. Ultimately, the only way to get past thesehazards is to memorize where they are. This minor flaw doesn't detract from thegame's excellent value, though. Sonic Advance offers a very goodsingle-player game and some of the best link options of any GBA title.--Raymond M. Padilla

    Pros:

    • Classic Sonic gameplay
    • Outstanding link options
    • Four characters add to replay value
    Cons:
    • Classic Sonic cheap deaths
    • Single-player runs are short

1-0 out of 5 stars What's the big deal?
What's the big deal with this game? It's not fun at all. It's way too fast. I mean, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle was fast, but not like this. In this game, you can't even see where you're going. And there's no explanation for anything. I was expecting a cool action/platformer with a few story segments. Instead, I was dropped straight into the first level with no explanation, and there was no break-up between levels, boss battles, and worlds. I was just so confused. It moved so fast that my eyes hurt, and I didn't understand it. It was a big fat waste of money.

5-0 out of 5 stars Sonic Advance rocks!!!
Sonic advance is a great Game. If you Like action Games or The Classic NES series Gameboy Advance Games, you should get this Game. I've played Sonic Advance 3, but the original Game is alot better. You can choose from Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose. I also own Pokemon Leafgreen And Classic NES series Pacman. Sonic Advance rocks!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great game but with frustrating problems.
While not necessarily raising the bar in my opinion the way "Sonic Battle" did for me, "Sonic Advance 2" is nonetheless another home run for the legendary Sonic video game franchise.

The play pattern is virtually the same as it's classic Sega Genesis ancestors: Dr. Eggman (previously known as Robotnik) is once again causing havoc with his megalomaniac schemes of taking over the entire world by building another 'death egg' (God, everything he builds is named after eggs) spaceship by wielding the power of the legendary chaos emeralds. Even worse is that Sonic's friends have been captured by Eggman and held hostage.

As a result, in the beginning, Sonic is the only available player but as one beats the boss machine at the end of the stages, more characters are unlocked and the game begins to branch into different versions of itself. My favorite is a tie between Tails and Cream.

The problem with this game though is a frustrating part. Although not completely, I've found it almost downright impossible to find all seven special rings in order to access the special stages at the end of each regular stage. (I've managed to get to special stage one after "Leaf Forest" but that's it) The last six regular stages make it like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Otehr than that, this is a very good Sonic Adventure game and is another good addition to the Sonic Legacy. With the frustrating Special Stage requirements, I guess they didn't call it "Sonic Advance" for nothing. :/ :)

3-0 out of 5 stars This is stupid. I reconmmend you play Sonic Mega Collection
I cannot say much about this game, but enough to steer you clear.
The story is that Dr. Eggman is making trouble again. That is it. There are no story telling elements witin the game.
The object of the game is to get from point A to point B. If you run fast enough in one direction for enough time, you will create a sonic boom and go supersonic. Which needs to happen more often.
Within the levels are emblems. You need a certain amount to go to special stage and get a emerald. Let me tell you, it is so hard to actually collect the emblems, I have never been to special stage. The emeralds unlock the final boss.
The characters are varied by skills and stats.
Cheese can attack from a distance.
    Knuckles can punch.
    Amy has a hammer.
    Sonic is fast.
    Tails can fly.

    Whoopie.
Now I can go through the whole game with just Cream and Cheese and not break a sweat. There is a diffculty imbalance here.

This game is too imbalanced to be fun.

Now go play Sonic Mega Collection my groupies!!!!

    if you exist......

4-0 out of 5 stars Even more zoom than previous Sonic games
If you have played the great classic Genesis Sonic games and the first Sonic Advance and just expect more of the same, think again. This game is even more about total speed getting from point A to point B than the previous games, with level design all its own.The levels are designed so that, if you want to, most of the time you can just hold down left or right and watch Sonic (or one of the other characters) ZOOM - until you are slowed down and have to decide how to proceed.Don't get me wrong, the levels are huge, with many paths for Sonic to take and a lot of stuff for the floatier characters (Tails and Cream) to explore. But everything, from each level's racing-style opening to the delightful fast-driving Eggman-vehicle bosses, and especially the level design, is all about speed.

You can probably dash through the first four levels on your first game, but from zone five onward the difficulty level, both in the levels and against the (I have to mention them again) speedy frenzied moving bosses, increases steadily every zone. The game is just difficult enough to keep me from zapping right through it, which is a good thing and keeps me coming back.I completed the first Sonic Advance the first day but have not beaten this one yet.I also have explored plenty and have not yet found a single chaos emerald, but I am sure they are there. This and the difficulty curve all keep me interested.

Another thing I like are the three action buttons. There is a jump button (essential), an attack button (with different effects depending on your character, including a ground pound that breaks floors and can aid in exploration for Sonic), and a 'trick' button, with high-speed effects that vary by situation. What's so good is that only the jump button is necessary, but if you are fast enough and want more variety you can make the game feel much deeper by using one or both of the other buttons in just the right situations.

I don't know just how long this game will keep my interest, but on the second day I have had it, MAN is it fun. It's all about speed. ... Read more

My kids are 6 and 7.It is just right for them. They don't get overly frustrated like they do when they play Super Mario Advance.A good purchase!

1-0 out of 5 stars BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Don't Get It!
I got this game for my GBA when I graduaded from elementary. IT STINKS! The manual said it saved itself. I completed the first part of "out and about" (Don't know if that's the title but it looks like sandy's home)and then MADE SURE that the level was still there then turned the GBA off. When I turn it back on and I go to the level, it's NOT THERE A N Y M O R E! There goes $30 down the drain. DON'T GET IT! P.S. The Graphics stink. They look like MS-DOS games! I give it 1 out of 5 stars, but I would give it -5.

3-0 out of 5 stars too hard!
k, i luv spongebob, i reallly do (just ask my classmates, lol) so i thought i'd luv this game, but really it's too hard! it starts out alright, but then it gets SO hard. but if you really like game boy games, and you really like a challenge, then you'll luv this game, but i like to take the easy way out so i didn't really like it. i'm only on like the 3rd level! but if you really like a challenge, then what are you waiting for? BUY IT! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Good tetris, Bad backgrounds
I just bought this Tetris game.I grew up with the black and white computer game "Nyet", before it was even called Tetris, so I love the Tetris game. The Tetris game itself was fine.

However, the backgrounds were horrible - mostly dark, with animated animals and an annoying flying cube with eyes getting in the way.The distractions might be good for building my concentration, but the backgrounds were so darkly colourful that I had trouble seeing the blocks properly. So they were a) cheesy, b) distorted the outline of the tetris blocks, and c) walked/swam/flew around a lot, so that it made the tetris blocks even harder to see.

I bought this game despite the mostly negative reviews because there wasn't another tetris gameboy advance game at the stores around my place. So it's enough to satisfy my Tetris fix, but I really wish it were better. That is, simpler, like white blocks on a black background, so I could concentrate on the game more than the bad graphics

3-0 out of 5 stars Great game, new ideas...
This newest breed of Tetris starts out like any other. You have the option to play the classic Tetris game that everyone, including Homer Simpson, has played. But, there are also 5 new play modes, included Fusion which is the most unlike classic Tetris. Each of the games offers hours of reply.

This game also includes an outline option to help you see where your piece will land, for newer or less skilled players. As well as being able to see the next four pieces ahead.

Additionally you can swap out one piece by pressing the L or R button, and trade that piece with any piece later in the game... this option is very helpful for storing straight pieces.

Unfortunatly each game only has 15 levels, unlike the nearly limitless play of the origional title.

Another flaw on my system is that most of the backgrounds are so dark you have to be in a very well lit area to play, this is a typical flaw of all gameboy games without an SP, but the purple pieces are almost invisible without some serious overhead lighting.

All in all this game offers a new look at a great game, and offers at least a month of solid replayablity, plus it's great to pick up for a 5 minute distraction.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad
This game is okay. The game portion of the display takes up only 1/3 of the screen. The other 2/3 are graphics on the left and right side.At first I thought this would be a problem, since the tiny screen of the GBA gives me headaches at times. But it plays fine, and no problems seeing things. The controls are fairly smooth, but take a little getting used to.The "Ghost" feature is helpful. It shows you where and how a piece will lie, as it is still falling. ...
