travel tested - luv it
well, I have my case for over a year now and it's still working
I travel a lot, expecially by plane and I think everybody knows what that means...
I'm used to have my GBA in my hand luggage and so it needed some kind of protecion.
This mini case is perfect!
I can carry 2 games with it (3 if you leave one IN the GBA) and until now it never opend by itself.
My GBA got no damages after all the checking it got at every airport I've been.
Also, because of all the stress at airports nowadays, it's quite normal (for me *gg*) to accidentally drop my purse. Even so neither the GBA nor the case itself got ANY damage.

Bling for your SP!
I was recently gifted with an ultra-cool Pearl Pink Game Boy SP from Japan to fulfill my girlish desires for gaming fun and sparkle at the same time. I love it...and what better to put my Girlie Girl SP in but this cool metal case?

Case-ln -Point.
I love thas case!It's oversized and holds extra games, adapters, extra power cords and everyhihg you need.Inside removable padding adjusts and removes, and rearranges tons of accessories.Carriong case includes adjustable strap.Black case isstrong durable, and heavy duty zipper closure insures use for product for years to come.I plan to purchase 10 more for friends and family before they sell out. Excellent Buy
I recently bought this carrying case for my little sister for her birthday.She is rather rough with her things but this case has kept her game boy and games in great condition.Although some people have said that this is a waste of money, but for the price her it is almost a steal.I recommend this to anyone who has a Game Boy Advanced SP.

To small for anything! Avoid!
I bought this case as my first case for my brand new GBA SP the first day they came out last year (I work in video games, I have to have the newest coolest things! : ) I have a substancial number of GBA games, and I thought I could buy this to keep my GBA in my backpack with a game or two. WRONG! The case is so tight, even putting 1 game in the case is an exercise in masochism. You can't get the game out. Yes it's a spiffy color blue, and yes it's small, but if it only holds one game, it's not really worth it. What I did was bought a slightly bigger GBA case for the same amount, and that works just as well. The older GBA case if I had an older one would only hold one game with the case, but because it's the smaller SP, it holds several.

This bag lets you holdat least 3 games and your G.B. Ad. SP all at once and has a wrist band. So I give this item 5 stars becase it is very useful.

I Can Do Without The Accessories
I should of just bought the $20 case that Amazon offers. Because I never touch the accessories. That was $20 wasted. I thought I would use the car adapter. But, I don't because I get sick playing the GBA SP in the car. I guess it's because I am not a kid.

The only way I would use the adapter for the car would be just to charge my GBA SP. Like, if I am going somewhere to spend the night & don't want to charge the GBA SP when I get there I can charge it in the car to save gaming time.

Overall, I would give the case it self five stars & I would give the accessories one star.

Some Ups and Some Downs...
At first glimpse, one might jump to the conclusion that this is a storage case for your Game Boy Advance SP system. However, this is not the case at all.

It consists of two levels. The bottom row contains the link cable, SP space, SP cord, Headphone adapter,2 "2-game holders," 2 screen protectors, headphones, and FM radio accessory. The upper level has two mesh pockets for the car adapter and magnifier.

The case itself is wonderful. Beautifully crafted, sturdy, as if it could plow through 18 brick walls and then some.

The magnifier is made of a cheap, lightweight plastic which has a "McDonalds Happy Meal Toy" feel. The screen lid doesn't stay up very well. Also, I find it more difficult to use the magnifier than to play without it. Although, for people with sight-problems, this is a blessing.

The relatively long car adapter does what it promises. Although, I bought a much better adapter that doesn't feel like it was given away for free at some party.

The game link cable delivers what it promises as well. Though not my top choice looks-wise, it is still an average-looking cable that is well built and doesn't have the cheap feel of the rest of the items.

The Game Boy Advance SP cord doesn't seem like it would be of much use to me... but wearing things around your neck seems to be very popular in japan. That must be the reason behind ths carrying cord, as I don't think I would be caught dead wearing a Game Boy around my neck.

The game cases come in two colors: Platinum and Cobalt. They both carry only two games, which doesn't seem like much... however, they are the only way of storing games in this little case, so choose your favorite four carefully.

The set comes with two, clear screen protectors. Above both protectors is a cheesy, obviously perforated card that has a picture of football players, and the words: "Protects Game Screen!" ...it's as if the makers thought that if they didn't put the corny little card above the protectors, we would assume we should stick them to our feet. As for the screen protectors, my first one hasn't come off yet, which is good. I just pray that the adhesive on the corners doesn't work TOO hard. ;)

The Headphone jack is what really compelled me to buy this. I've been wanting a headphone jack (since the SP is without one) since I got the actual console. It would work well with better headphones, but it's not junky like the other things in this.

The FM accessory clips on the top of the gameboy, and operates when the game boy is on. So, you can listen to your favorite tunes while playing Mario. My advice: Listen to your iPod or whatever it is that plays music for you. You can't see what station you are listening to. All there is is this little scan button that you push every time you want to find a station. In other words, you spend more time scanning than listening.

The headphones are okay... they aren't as bad as some I've seen, but they are definitely not the greatest known to man.

The most dissappointing thing about this Kit is that there is no space for other games other than the four you can store in the cases. Think of it as an at-home storage center. You can barely travel with it and who needs to travel with a game boy, four games, and a whole bunch of stuff you could do without?

It was awful.
Do not buy this junk. It will never work. You can't enter new codes, download, or upgrade. Nada. You actually can't even start the game once you put in codes so it's useless. Better chance just playing fair than burning money away.

The Game shark is a shark
This game boy is a shark and by that I mean they take your money and then the product is faulty it only works somtimes for the first few times then the hardware breaks down the company has no information for trouble shooting. Dont buy this product unless you just want to be shark bait. DS

Good battery but...
Do yourself a favor and order a set of precision screwdrivers (a set of stanley's can be had on Amzaon for ~5 bucks).)

you can buy an official battery at the nintendo store online of the same quality for $15 dont find yourself buying ths and oh yea it is the right picture.

power swith don't work
Opened the package. Slid the sp into place. Inserted 3 games. Flipped the power switch, and NOTHING. The little piece of rubber they use to SUPPOSEDLY let the power switch contact and move the original switch does not work. The rubber is too thin. can't turn on the game and then slide on the changer. [...]

Game Boy Advance SP Magnifier
At the beginning the magnifier was okay, but then it started falling down, and my son said that it didn't hold as it supposed to be.

The only VITAL GBA accessory out there.
I'll be a case study on why you need to buy a magnifier for your GBA, or your childs.

The original Game Boy came out when I was 10 years old. Being of that age, I had to have my parents immediately buy one. There were no magnifiers until later on in the Game Boys history. When I received the Game Boy my vision was 20/20. Years down the road, now I have really bad vision, and have to wear contacts or glasses to be able to see clearly 5 feet away. My eye doctor told me it was probably because of the Game Boy.

Because of this, I have always recommended a magnifier to any prospective GBA buyer as I work in video games. I extend to you the same recommendation, as saving your sight is vital.

You have been warned - Damages Screen
Let me start of by saying, these things glue directly to your GBA screen.If that doesn't send up a warning flag right away, it should.Once attached, they are nearly impossible to remove, and leave behind a sticky residue that basically ruins the screen quality.There's pretty much nothing positive that can be said about these things.

it's not so BAD
this screen protectors aren't so bad , but why after putting it on your screen , you would want to take it off?? i mean that's insane , tha only bad thing about thisit collects a bit of dust on your screen , and you can't really see what you're playing in day , but at night it's good ,i have had mine for almost a year now and it hasn't come off,but people don't throw away your sp , rub it with alcahol , and the goo will come off.

Works fine - Annoying to require special earphones
I bought the earphone adapter so that my son can play our Game Boy on a flight without annoying everyone or having to battle with him to keep the volume down.I tried it out with Mario World and it works fine and sounds as good as synthesized, cheesy, videogame music could sound.I agree that it is annoying to have to spend the extra money for special earphones, though all the game consoles try to nickel and dime you.Same deal with the Game Cube:Oh, you wanted *two* controllers with that?Oh, you wanted to be able to save your game?

somebody wrote that nintendo just forgot to include a headphone jack. what kind of idiot would believe that load of crap? nintendo just wants your money! GBA sound is horrible anyways! why would anyone want to buy this?

GBA SP Car Adaptor is quite handy......
I have a young child, age 6, who takes his GBA nearly wherever he goes.Since he is so young, he often forgets to remind me to recharge his console.Therefore, the adaptor can be a real lifesaver when the batteries fade, and an unhappy child is looking for something to busy himself with during a long car ride.

Antique Game Boy Printer
This printer is very old, from the days of the Game Boy Pocket. Only buy it if you have games for it, as no new ones will have printing capabilities. It is a thermal printer, which means it requires no ink, but special paper instead. Print quality is bad, but OK for most purposes. It is very hard to find the special paper for this printer anymore. Although it will void your warranty, you can probably get by cutting thermal fax paper to the right size or using old cash register paper.
Overall, it is fun, but only if you have paper and games for it.

Compatablility: This printer works on all the Game Boys that have a standard Game Link port. That includes Game Boy, SNES Game Boy, Game Boy Pocket, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and Game Boy Advance. It does not work with the Game Boy Micro or DS, as these only play Advance games. There are no advance games I can think of that use the Game Boy Printer.

I have a gameboy camera and i really want this. it seems really really cool. i would recommend this BUT,
1. It is so expensive.
2. You have to keep on buying printer paper and ink maybe.
3. You have to have a link cable.

SO COOL!!!!
I don't actually have one but I am borrowing one from my friend. It is really cool because you can take pictures in all kinds of ways you can take a picture of yourself and three games will have that face.The games aren't as good as regular gameboy games are but are really cool. You can frame pictures, make them silly, draw on them, write a short comment on it and stuff. This is really cool and would be good to buy. You can take pictures in a weird way like making really tall and thin. I once made a picture that It was scene of the crime type thing and it really looked cool.

Do you know why I think this is "Wow?" Because it's simpily amazing. Take up to 30 picture and doodle on them. It's a real fun toy too!
