Good battery but...
Do yourself a favor and order a set of precision screwdrivers (a set of stanley's can be had on Amzaon for ~5 bucks).)

you can buy an official battery at the nintendo store online of the same quality for $15 dont find yourself buying ths and oh yea it is the right picture.

NOT WHAT I ORDERED
I had the same issue as the other reviewer - I ordered the started pack for my son for his birthday - thinking that with the link cable - he will be able to play with his friends....no cable....completely different starter pack. I am highly disappointed with AMAZON....I just hope that my son isn't equally disappointed with his Birthday present

Wrong Stuff Included
I was very disappointed when I received this item.The ONLY reason I bought it was for the "game link cable".I had purchased a second Game Boy Advance (yes I am a 41 year old Game Boy addict LOL)and I wanted to be able to link up my two Pokemon games.I thought the other items included would just be a "bonus".I was disturbed to find that NO GAME LINK CABLE WAS INCLUDED in the package!I double-checked the item online and it CLEARLY shows a game link cable.Even in the reviews, a link cable is referenced.When I look at a larger picture of the product, the first thing it says is "game link cable".

However, they must have re-packaged this set to include different materials.What I received was a light, a carrying case, a "screen protector" -- which is a cheesy piece of sticky cardboard that I would never DREAM of putting on my unit, a rechargeable battery pack, and six game storage boxes.NO LINK CABLE.

Therefore, either they have re-packaged this set, or they sent me the wrong stuff!Of course, now that I have opened it and torn through the package looking for my cable, I can hardly return it, can I?

I gave this product "one star" because the other items (especially the carrying case and the game storage boxes) WILL come in handy .. but I think it is false advertising to display pieces that are NOT included with the product any longer.Although I will find a use for many of these items, I never would have purchased it in the first place if I had known I wouldn't be getting the cable.Buyers beware! :)

power swith don't work
Opened the package. Slid the sp into place. Inserted 3 games. Flipped the power switch, and NOTHING. The little piece of rubber they use to SUPPOSEDLY let the power switch contact and move the original switch does not work. The rubber is too thin. can't turn on the game and then slide on the changer. [...]

great model small enough for SP models of GBA
ok i own a older model from a company not really affiliated with nintendo, it works ok for the older GBAs, but i also own a GBA/SP model and it jams the sholder buttons. this model directly from nintendo is small enough to fit between the buttons on a SP model *great for Zelda:FSA *Four Swords Adventures* and still big enough to fit on the older models.

It makes a HUGE difference...
When it comes to the GC/GBA Cable.You wouldnt think that something this inexpensive could make a difference in the way you play video games.But it does it unlocks secrets of all kinds in Gamecube games, sometimes it gives you access to secret areas/maps/items and various other thing.

Depending on the game and what features it opens up.Plus it is cheap to get and once you've gotten this wonderful item.You will wonder why you didnt get it sooner.I know from my own experience.

To small for anything! Avoid!
I bought this case as my first case for my brand new GBA SP the first day they came out last year (I work in video games, I have to have the newest coolest things! : ) I have a substancial number of GBA games, and I thought I could buy this to keep my GBA in my backpack with a game or two. WRONG! The case is so tight, even putting 1 game in the case is an exercise in masochism. You can't get the game out. Yes it's a spiffy color blue, and yes it's small, but if it only holds one game, it's not really worth it. What I did was bought a slightly bigger GBA case for the same amount, and that works just as well. The older GBA case if I had an older one would only hold one game with the case, but because it's the smaller SP, it holds several.

Advantages Of the GameBoy Bag
This bag lets you holdat least 3 games and your G.B. Ad. SP all at once and has a wrist band. So I give this item 5 stars becase it is very useful.

Perfect!
I purchased this bag today because of it's size.It took me a while to purchase this item because the picture is a bit deceiving. Originally, just looking at the picture I thought it would be too big.I don't need to put many games in it or accessories, I just wanted something as small as possible to proctect my gameboy and this was perfect.

It's Okay, But Only Holds 3 GBA Games
I got this case as a gift, and it's a great case if you want to take your GBA SP and a few games for a short trip.If, like me, you like to take several games and the adapter on longer trips, it's just too small.

At most, the case can hold the GBA SP (and one game inside) and 3 additional games.The games are stored in a little pocket on the front of the pouch, protected only by the flap.This isn't a lot of protection, should the case fall.The SP itself is pretty well padded in this case, as it provides enough protection for the system itself.

I have taken to using another backpack to hold additional games and the adapter, but I still put the system inside this case before putting it in the backpack.

If you want a cheap case or only have a few games, then this is the case for you!

travel tested - luv it
well, I have my case for over a year now and it's still working
I travel a lot, expecially by plane and I think everybody knows what that means...
I'm used to have my GBA in my hand luggage and so it needed some kind of protecion.
This mini case is perfect!
I can carry 2 games with it (3 if you leave one IN the GBA) and until now it never opend by itself.
My GBA got no damages after all the checking it got at every airport I've been.
Also, because of all the stress at airports nowadays, it's quite normal (for me *gg*) to accidentally drop my purse. Even so neither the GBA nor the case itself got ANY damage.

I really recommend it

Bling for your SP!
I was recently gifted with an ultra-cool Pearl Pink Game Boy SP from Japan to fulfill my girlish desires for gaming fun and sparkle at the same time. I love it...and what better to put my Girlie Girl SP in but this cool metal case?

I recently bought this carrying case for my little sister for her birthday.She is rather rough with her things but this case has kept her game boy and games in great condition.Although some people have said that this is a waste of money, but for the price her it is almost a steal.I recommend this to anyone who has a Game Boy Advanced SP.

Great at first -- then it doesn't stay in place...
I loved the way this worked at first... I was able to see everything much more clearly. Then, after 6 months of use, the magnifier screen wouldn't stay up because it loosened up. I couldn't find any way to tighten it either. Too bad... I found a different brand that works and actually doesn't have a frame.

Great!!
My kid loves it! I can even tell that the letters can be easilt read and that she doesn't get as many headaches when she uses it.

what's wrong
my friend and i have a action replay. both of us have pokemon firered and leafgreen. I have ruby and emerald. for him he has all legendary pokemon expet raikou. for me it doesnt work on firered. i havent tried the gameshark, so get the gameshark or get a ds and get the new action replay.

action replay doesn't deliver
My son received an action replay a few months ago.it worked once, and then after that all the game data was erased.i've heard of others having the same problem...it's not all it's cracked up to be.

Delivers What It Promises
The docking station is a little large for a charging cradle, and probably unneccessary for some. But for people like me who don't like leaving my Game Boy charging on the floor, suseptible to feet and dirt, it is truly a great thing.

It has a nice, balanced design which shows off both main SP colors (Cobalt and Platinum,) and the SP fits snugly into the charger with no struggles... as does the charging cord.

For those of you who don't like leaving chargable things, such as iPods or cameras, undocked, this is perfect.
