3-0 out of 5 stars Good tetris, Bad backgrounds
I just bought this Tetris game.I grew up with the black and white computer game "Nyet", before it was even called Tetris, so I love the Tetris game. The Tetris game itself was fine.

However, the backgrounds were horrible - mostly dark, with animated animals and an annoying flying cube with eyes getting in the way.The distractions might be good for building my concentration, but the backgrounds were so darkly colourful that I had trouble seeing the blocks properly. So they were a) cheesy, b) distorted the outline of the tetris blocks, and c) walked/swam/flew around a lot, so that it made the tetris blocks even harder to see.

I bought this game despite the mostly negative reviews because there wasn't another tetris gameboy advance game at the stores around my place. So it's enough to satisfy my Tetris fix, but I really wish it were better. That is, simpler, like white blocks on a black background, so I could concentrate on the game more than the bad graphics

3-0 out of 5 stars Great game, new ideas...
This newest breed of Tetris starts out like any other. You have the option to play the classic Tetris game that everyone, including Homer Simpson, has played. But, there are also 5 new play modes, included Fusion which is the most unlike classic Tetris. Each of the games offers hours of reply.

This game also includes an outline option to help you see where your piece will land, for newer or less skilled players. As well as being able to see the next four pieces ahead.

Additionally you can swap out one piece by pressing the L or R button, and trade that piece with any piece later in the game... this option is very helpful for storing straight pieces.

Unfortunatly each game only has 15 levels, unlike the nearly limitless play of the origional title.

Another flaw on my system is that most of the backgrounds are so dark you have to be in a very well lit area to play, this is a typical flaw of all gameboy games without an SP, but the purple pieces are almost invisible without some serious overhead lighting.

All in all this game offers a new look at a great game, and offers at least a month of solid replayablity, plus it's great to pick up for a 5 minute distraction.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad
This game is okay. The game portion of the display takes up only 1/3 of the screen. The other 2/3 are graphics on the left and right side.At first I thought this would be a problem, since the tiny screen of the GBA gives me headaches at times. But it plays fine, and no problems seeing things. The controls are fairly smooth, but take a little getting used to.The "Ghost" feature is helpful. It shows you where and how a piece will lie, as it is still falling. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Disappointing
Tetris Worlds had two modes, arcade (which I haven't played) and story (although you wouldn't know the story unless you read the manual). There are several different game styles, most of them are pretty fun. The problem is that it seems to miss the point. Tetris is about staying "alive" as long as possible, and the next time you play you try to go longer. With this version after you get through level 15 you "win" and the game is over. I was able to do that for most of the game styles the 1st time I played them. The only place to improve is to get through the levels faster, and (for me) that's not fun.

They try to allow you to make a character or sorts (a cube with an eye) but the customization is pitiful (2 eye colors, 2 hair styles) and really would have been better without it.

It also takes an inexplicably long time to load both the start menu and the game board.

4-0 out of 5 stars A begining.. to hate Tetris
N64 idea of tetris sure is much better than this one, it's a good start for those who want to hate Tetris

3-0 out of 5 stars lacks the addictiveness of the original
Ever since I first played Tetris on the Gameboy, I was hooked. It was an insanely addictive game, simple to play but challenging to master. This past year, I picked up a copy of the game for the original Nintendo (NES) and I found the game to be just as fun and addictive as I remembered more than a decade ago. When I saw that Tetris was available on the PS2, I was interested in picking up the game.It would be fun for my fiancé and I to play the game together.Unfortunately, this game didn't live up to the standard set by its 8-bit predecessor.

In addition to the classic Tetris, there are several other ways to play Tetris in this game. They all work from the same basic formula of various 4-block shapes falling and needing to be manipulated to form lines. What is different is the goals of each game. Some games require you to form combinations of the same colored blocks, others like "Cascade" allow blocks that become unattached after a line clears to drop down, permitting new scoring combinations.Initially, these new games were interesting, but I found myself craving the classic tetris. That is here, too,but the blocks on the screen are rather small, and there is now an option to play with a time limit.

Even if I didn't like the new Tetris games, I expected that I would be as addicted to the classic tetris.I wasn't.I don't know what was changed, but the game just wasn't as fun and addicting, and yet I can play the NES version today and still get wrapped up in the game. This game doesn't seem to be as fast, the screen is way too small, and whatever was changed causes the game to be not as good. It's the same Tetris, but the updates detract from the game rather than add to it.I can't recommend this.I would suggest you find a NES or a Gameboy and play the original.I'll be much more fun to play. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars I'M SORRY I BOUGHT THIS
I got this game thinking it was going to be like my other tetris game I had on my old computer. I must say I was very disappointed in it and the store wont take it back as its been opened, arghhhhhhhhh. Anyway, it takes forever to move on to the game. You have to go through all this crazy world stuff first. (...) But thats what it sounds like. I wont let me 7 year old play and I sure dont like listening to this women. The game would have be fine had they left all the nonsense out of it. But I'm looking for a better version of this game. I wouldnt recomend buying this item at all. This game went in the garbage and I took a money loss.

4-0 out of 5 stars This Game Will Win Over Even A Reluctant Gamer
I often get bored quickly with video games because the story-type games are cheesy and slow, and in the arcade-style games, there's nothing more to do than accumulate points and advance levels.

The last game I liked was the old Nintendo "Mario World" because the pace was fast, there were neat things to see at each level and there was a point: save the Princess!

Without a doubt, Tetris is one of the most addictive arcade games. There is something very fun and compelling about placing bricks in careful patterns. However, as an arcade game, Tetris could eventually get boring. But not Tetris Worlds! This game has a wonderful fantasy world feature: as you advance levels, you see incremental improvements on a planet! The graphics and things you win at each level are cute, simple and satisfying.

It's true, though, the visibility on two of the levels is terrible! Just avoid these levels, though, the others aren't that bad.

4-0 out of 5 stars To violent!
You have blocks and you make them fall on other blocks! Think about the blocks your squashing this game looked like a perfect game for my son, then I saw him jumping on his friends.Thats when I decided I should watch the games he played.I took one look and then burned this game. He will just have to go back to playing his M (Mother approved) And AO games (adolecents only).I am sorry that at the top of my review it says a gamer which i'm certainly not, I am a concerned parent. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Tetris...What makes it so addictive?
I found "TETRIS" in the middle of nowhere and found it a brilliant addition to my very primative collection of games (i live for the old stuff). It is easy to catch onto the simple rules and very addictive. You can never WIN, but beating your own personal best is really good when it happens. I think that is also educational for that buff they call spacial awareness.

However, I would not buy it unless you can get a good price for it. You can get HandHeld games with original And Variations of the origianl "TETRIS".

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Tetris Game!
I have both this game AND Tetris Worlds for Game Boy Advance, And I love them both as much as the other. Tetris worlds my not have a Battery Back-up, but it more than makes up for that with the extremely fun game variations and the classic tetris Music.
Tetris DX DOES Have a battery, but it's just basic tetris. I'm able to score at least 400,000 points regularly, so every time I top out I have to put up with that annoying rocket launch sequence, wheras with Tetris Worlds, when you top out, you can start the next game right away without having to put up with annoying rocket sequences. the bottom line: went I want to play Classic Tetris, I play Tetris DX. when I want Enhanced graphics and effects and Nostalgic Music, I play Tetris Worlds

5-0 out of 5 stars Classic Tetris Dx
Tetris DX is a very fun game! You will be addicted to it in no time! There are many different things you can do to change the game settings. For example, you can change the music. You can also change the level you are on yourself, although I wouldn't recommend doing it until after you have become a very good player. There also many game modes you can play in, like 40 Lines, on which you have to get 40 lines without your blocks hitting the top, Marathon, on which you just keep going and going and going until your blocks hit the top, or Ultra, where you see how good you can do, except you only have 3 minutes to do so. The computer also keeps track of your best records and displays them when you are choosing your level. Tetris DX is an absolutely terrific game! I would recommend it to anybody! You'll have a lot of fun playing it. Thank you for reading my review. I hope it helped. ... Read more

Editorial Review

It seems as if the world's fascination with the Russian-created puzzle game Tetris will never end. Hasbro Interactive and Atari have introduced yet another challenging version of the shape- shifting classic Tetris. The new format follows rules similar to the classic game. However, there are now new objects (sticky blocks and cascades) to contend with. The sticky blocks add a clever twist to the action, since they connect themselves to other pieces of the same color when placed next to one another. These resulting sticky blocks are bigger and less mobile than regular blocks. As in the original Tetris, clearing a line of blocks will often result in a chain reaction that can cause other blocks to fall. At this point, the game can get quite frantic since these blocks often end up creating matches that trigger more chain reactions. It's a dizzying experience--but that's the charm of the game.

Players can choose from marathon mode (a single-player sequential game), two-player competition, or puzzle-style levels that require you to clear prepositioned blocks in a certain amount of time. The new elements make this updated game more challenging than the original, yet The Next Tetris retains all the charm of the game that started it all. Even diehard Tetris fans will have a difficult time finding fault with this game, since it includes a faithful reproduction of the original version as well. --Carrie Bell

4-0 out of 5 stars Addictive
The sound effect of the blocks falling is great, however the music selections can use a little work.Otherwise the game is fun and addictive as it always was. There is a board where the blocks attach themselves to others of the same color -- a new twist.

5-0 out of 5 stars It's Tetris-- what else can you say?
The most addictive puzzle game of all time. The "new" version borrows some touches from some of the other falling block games to good effect. It enhances game play, and adds new dimensions to the dreams that I invariably have about this game after I've played it way too much. One small gripe. Considering the miniscule amount of space that this simple little game must take up on the disc, couldn't they have thrown in an hour of quality music, or background options with every major Michaelangelo painting? I can't shake the feeling that I paid a chunk of change for a bunch of empty space. Still, it IS Tetris, and now I can play it on my Playstation. Everything else is secondary...

5-0 out of 5 stars fun with flipping

Editorial Review

Most attempts to tamper with the basic gameplay of Tetrishave fallen flat on their faces, but Tetris Plus is actually adecent take on the timeless classic. You can tackle a basic solo game ofTetris, challenge a friend in two-player mode, or go directly tothe best portion of the game: puzzle mode.

In puzzle mode, playerscontrol blocks as they descend from the top to the bottom of the screen. As they fall, you can spin blocks so that they land next tocorresponding colors at the bottom of the screen. Gameplay is just likethe original only with a few major twists. The bin that holds the piecesat the bottom of the screen starts out partially filled, while a littleprofessor character climbs on top of the stack. Your job is to clearlines of blocks so that the professor can reach the exit at the bottomof the bin before a spiked ceiling smacks him in the head. Two playerscan also duke it out in puzzle mode, sending cleared lines to theiropponent's bin. This isn't the best version of Tetris we've everplayed, but it does still manage to offer a lot of entertainment for itslow price. --T. Byrl Baker

5-0 out of 5 stars Classic Tetris with a twist
Well, almost. The developers added a few new twists, the most interesting of which is the puzzle mode. Each puzzle level begins with the professor standing on a different pattern of blocks. You've got to clear the blocks out from under him to get him to the bottom. If you don't figure out the right way to solve this puzzle, he climbs to the top of the blocks you're stacking up. The game's over when the professor and the descending spiked ceiling collide. This version of the game is entertaining and even challenging, although after a while you begin to wonder why you're trying to rescue a guy who insists on climbing to his death. Other new additions include an edit mode that lets you create and save your own puzzles. A split-screen mode enables two people to play Tetris at the same time without competing against one another. In the regular VS mode, you can still play the computer or a friend. As with most new puzzle games, you can send blocks to your opponents screen when you clear a certain amount from your own -- in this case, two rows of blocks cleared from your screen means two rows of blocks sent to your opponent. If you like Tetris and you1re looking for a familiar, addictive game, this is the answer. Tetris Plus hasn't revolutionized puzzle games, but it's still fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars Probably the best Tetris sequel
Tetris became an instant classic when it was packaged with the Game Boy in 1989. But the most interesting thing about the game becoming so successful is the fact that it spawned so many sequels - each of which was unique in its own way. One of these sequels was Tetris Plus, in which the objective of the game was to save a professor from being smashed by a spiked ceiling, rather than scoring lines like in traditional Tetris games. How does this change of pace work out for the series? Read on and see.

PROS:
-The graphics here are much better than those in the Game Boy game of the same name.
-In addition to the new "rescue the professor" mode which is the main attraction of the game, there is the classic Tetris mode you should know and love.
-Like in most Tetris titles, there's a two-player mode (WELL worth checking out.)

CONS:
-The music, while very good, isn't nearly as catchy as the classical Russian music featured in the original Game Boy game.

OVERALL:
Overall this is a fine addition to the Tetris library. If you're a fan of puzzle games, then Tetris Plus is well worth checking out. Sure, it never got the recognition and popularity that the original did, but it's still excellent. Don't pass it by if you're a Playstation owner.

4-0 out of 5 stars best game going
I have found tetris 2 better then 1 more challenging, great way to learn eye and hand movements too. I have warning my game out and looking for another one lol, the only thing that did not give this game a 5 star rating is the fact you can not save your game from you last game played, if this was on it then i would give it a 5 star

5-0 out of 5 stars Just as Fun as the Original
So, you've mastered the original Tetris and are looking for a fun alternative? You've come to the right place.

This time, the challenge is to clear pre-arranged squares from the screen. But, instead of filling in rows, you're trying to line up three squares of the same color horizontally or vertically. All the original shapes are back, plus some new ones that come apart. These can be a blessing or a curse. You can play by yourself, against a friend, or against the computer.

I'm a big fan of the original Tetris, and got this version as soon as I could. It's as challenging and addictive as the original and a great way to spend several hours of fun no matter if you play alone or with someone else.

5-0 out of 5 stars An updated Tetris game that is even better than the original
"Tetris 2" is a great and innovative game for anyone who has ever liked the original Tetris. In this game, you don't make the blocks disappear by getting a whole row filled. There are colors on the blocks in "Tetris 2" and to make them disappear you have to connect blocks and make 3 of the same color touch. There are a few sparkling blocks that can really come in handy. For example, when you make a yellow sparkling block disappear, the rest of the sparkling yellow blocks will also disappear from the board.

"Tetris 2" is complete with both 1 and 2 player modes of play.In 1 player mode, you can go up against the computer and see how far you can get.Two player mode is what's really fun though. You and a friend will both compete at the same time to see who can clear the board first. You have to win a minimum of 3 games to win. Each time you win, it will give you a white fish that will swim around in your tank, and when one of you first wins 3 games, the other person's tank of water will drain.

"Tetris 2" has great graphics, effects, and the sound and music are good too.The control is top notch and the best thing about it is definitely that it's a lot of fun and it has good replay value. It's definitely one of the best puzzle games ever made.If you've ever liked Tetris, I recommend getting "Tetris 2" for the Super Nintendo. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars The Return Of The Classic Puzzles of Russia
There just have been so many games that are just so nostalgic, they keep coming back better and better. There are times where it either keeps getting better, or just keeps losing ground. That has happened with so many different classic games like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and it has happened again with the most classic addictive puzzle game of all time, Tetris. Since this game originated from Russia in the 80's, it has taken on the world by storm, and just keeps surprising so many different gamers of all ages. Yet, while so many just variations lose ground from Tetris, others just come out swinging.

Tetris Worlds is a collection of six different variations of Tetris that really are just amazing. There is the classic Tetris, as well other recognized, new variations of the game including Hot-Line Tetris, the learning game Learning Tetris, which is more like a basic instruction game that teaches people how to play Tetris, Fusion Tetris, Sticky Tetris, and Square Tetris. The graphics are just gorgeous and the gameplay is very simple to operate, with the push of a button on the keyboard. There are also the 2 classic modes from Tetris for all these games such as the story mode, and the arcade mode, where you have to beat the clock to try to clear as many lines as possible.

While you look at so many games that depend on out of the ordinary graphics, it is sometimes so easy to forget about classic games like Tetris. If you have played the game before, Tetris Worlds is a well worth buy for the computer. If you haven't played this puzzled legend before, it is definitely worth the try. Don't be boxed in, without trying this great, delightful game.

1-0 out of 5 stars DONT BUY
For starters I did not like this game at all. Its not anything like what the one I use to play on my old computer, which is what I was looking for. It takes forever to get to the game. Then when you play this crazy sexy voice keeps talking. I cant even let my 7 year old play this game. Its horrible. I'm on to find a regular tetris game if possible.

4-0 out of 5 stars Definitive 2 player Tetris
Albeit the single player mode isn't all that spectacular, the 2 player head2head is uber-fun. My wife and I couldn't put the controllers down. The only other 2player mode that I can even think of competing with this was the one on the Disney'ish Tetris game on the N64

3-0 out of 5 stars not bad, but not fabulous either
Good things: The gameplay is pretty good, but I didn't much care for the timed single player mode.

Bad things: The background music! Just awful. And the voices, congratulating you every time you finish a level. Sheesh.

All in all, it's great if you can get it a good discount but certainly isn't worth the full price. Just turn off the background music and voices and play your own mp3s and it's fun.

Lots of fun and challenge.Good for kids of all ages even 60+.I liked this Tetris much better than the new one.Well worth the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good but yes does get boring after awhile.
This game is probably good if you play against a friend. But the storyline will do. It seems like there are different endings to the game on each difficulty level but Pete is hard on the hard mode and that what makes this game challanging. But like other tetris games, you might get bored of it before you even defeat pete. Still, for Tetris fans but a few new rules.

4-0 out of 5 stars Disney and Tetris makes a good game
The songs in Magical Tetris are good (much better than in the New Tetris for N64).The disney characters are fun.The story book sections are repetitive and kinda break up your momentum, but they can be avoided insome of the game's sections. The tetris part of it meets your skilllevel...if you are keeping up with it, it will increase the drop speed tochallenge you.Overall, it's a fun game. ...

PROS:
-The graphics here are VERY good for a classic Game Boy game.
-The game has Super Game Boy color enhancements, which will make it that much more fun if you choose to play it using that accessory.
-In addition to the new "rescue the professor" mode which is the main attraction of the game, there is the classic Tetris mode you should know and love.
-Like in most Tetris titles, there's a two-player Game Link mode (WELL worth checking out if both you and a friend own the game.)

Don't pass it by if you're a Game Boy owner.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Tetris
I am not a game player normally, but I love this. This is the game that had me buying a game boy.

With the different levels and the puzzle, it is the perfect game for an airplane ride.

I've played every version of Tetris I can find and this is the best, short of the original PC version.

5-0 out of 5 stars Huge Tetris Fan

5-0 out of 5 stars A Classic Everyone Should Play
I can't believe there are no reviews written on what many would consider the greatest puzzle game of all time.

As anyone who has ever played the game knows Tetris is an easy game to learn but tough to master. In short different shaped blocks (each with 4 sections) fall from the sky. You must rotate those blocks to form complete lines which then dissolve scoring you points.

As you progress through the levels the speed of the decent increases and Tetris truely becomes a game requiring split second decisions and amazing reflexes to prevent your pile of blocks from reaching the top of the screen, which ends the game.

While the game is an obvious classic, and pureists without a doubt will want to play the original i would recommend getting tetris dx (probably the best port of Tetris ever made) or tetris worlds. (personally i find tetris alot more entertaining on a portable)

If you love tetris but want something a little different the more contemporary games also include many fun variations such as 2 player tetris and the completly unique but also fun Tetris Attack.

Trust me, you can't go wrong with tetris if you enjoy a challenge. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Some older gamers may be hesitant to try Magical TetrisChallenge, since it is filled with cute Disney characters. Thatwould be a shame, because this happens to be one of the best takes onTetris we've ever seen.

Mickey Mouse lends his ears to this new version of the classic game, but can also jump right in for a quick game of Tetris in itsoriginal form. This game features many clever variations on thetried-and-true Tetris. We recommend going through the game'sadventure mode. First, you must choose a Disney character to play. Then, you will race the other cartoon characters in a scavenger huntfor coins that are marked with the number that has been assigned toyour character. Most coins can only be collected by winningTetris matches against other characters, and it's a real raceagainst time to get all the coins you need to win.

Success in the adventure mode grants access to more variations of thestandard game--like the ultra-challenging Signal Tetris--and avariety of mind-bending fixed puzzles. Trust us, Magical TetrisChallenge may appeal to kids--but it also holds enough challengeto captivate adult gamers. --T. Byrl Baker

Pros:

  • Many variations of a classic game
  • Adventure mode adds a new twist
  • Devious fixed puzzles are a lot of fun
Cons:
  • Must conquer the adventure mode before some of the best gamevariations are accessible from the title screen

5-0 out of 5 stars This is really fun and can be very addicting
This game is so fun. I usually play in the regular tetris mode and it is very addicting. I like how you can pick a disney character and pick the level of difficulty. This game is great and if you like playing tetris than you will love this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars A "cute" yet addictive game
This Mickey game, is great for kids and adults. My 7yr. old nephew likes to play in the "quest" mode, where he can play with all the disney char- acters. I, find it hard to put down, while I'm playing regularTetris! As I get more practice in with my new addiction, the games takelonger and longer to play...(ie, your batteries can die in the middle ofthe game. -- I hate when that happens! ) I recommend this game for"kids" of all ages. I'ts pretty hard to share, so you may needmore than one copy! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars works great on Windows 98!
Wow!What an addicting game.It might not work for the guy with Windows 2000, but on the box it says it's for Windows 95 or 98, and it works great for me.I feel if you can't get the game to work, you shouldn't bother rating the game and writing a review for it, as it's not very helpful to the rest of us.

This game is similar to the Tetris style games, but way better looking and sounding than any Tetris you've seen. These 3d pieces fall from the top of the screen and have to be lined up, in gameplay that is extremely additicting. The timing feels just 'right' and as a collector of falling puzzle games like Tetris, this is one of my favorites.

1-0 out of 5 stars Specs
It would be very helpful if there were more specs on the web site.I bought this game because I love tetris, however I was unaware that it would not work on Windows 2000.Now I don't know if it is any good or not. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars BEWARE!
This item is not returnable, even though the seller doesn't mention that in his description. This is not what I was anticipating and now I'm stuck with it.

Very disappointed...

1-0 out of 5 stars The fix is in!
I've played a lot of BackGammon in my days but this farce takes the cake. The dice are loaded in the computers favor.Play 100 games and lose 40 of them because the computer gives you the one role in a 100 that will hurt you,,,,and at the same time he gets the perfect roll to get your exposed man.Once in a while is OK, but it's consistent and annoying.Just because the setting is expert, doesn't mean the computer has to win at all costs, even cheating.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Good Games
Pocket Express' Entertainment pack has some very good games. Tetris is the REAL thing, not a ugly freeware clone - it makes a difference - works great for the Palm's simple buttons. Lode Runner is fun but movement is sometimes a little awkward since you're not using a joystick. One nice thing is they included a level editor, and now I only play my own levels : ). Pocket Chess is a good solid chess game and in COLOR. It has a simple interface and works well on the palm. The rest of the games are pretty simple, but still fun - blackjack, poker dice (Yahtzee, really), and of course the indispensible Solitaire. There's also a cool little puzzle game called Colors that's pretty addictive. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The best version of Tetris!
I love this game so much.It really added some new life into the world's favorite puzzler.I love that you can now swap a block you don't like. The graphics and sound to this day are still beautiful.I unlocked many of the backgrounds not all.I wish there was a cheat to see all the backgrounds, because some of us don't have the extra free time to get 500,000 line!

5-0 out of 5 stars God, I love this game!
This is the main reaon I'm gonna buy a N64(and GoldenEye). Yes, I own a PS2 and a XBOX but this is one of my favorite games of all time. One downside though, it's extremely addictive. Like crack even. Well, maybe not crack but pretty addictive.

4-0 out of 5 stars good tetris game for a console
I picked up "the new tetris" because it featured my favorate game variaton from the excellant Tetris Worlds for Game boy Advance, only this version doesn't cut off at level 15. You can play for as long as you can. The tetris game on this package is pretty much the same as the classic version, but you only get one point for each normal line cleared, but it is still a pretty good scoring system. another good thing this game features is that it tracks how long you managed to stretch a game. I've been able to stretch some games for over an hour. thats because there are a few frills added to this game that make it more interesting
one, you can take 4 identical or differant tetroids and weave them together to form a solid 4x4 square and get bonuses when you clear a line containg a portion of the square. 2, you can use the "T" shape peice to rotate into a tight place and cause all blocks to seperate and collapse. This gets you out of a tough situation, and the lines you clear during the collapse count towards your line total, however, it also cancles out any remaining bonus square sections. even after you've unlocked all the wonders, you can still get good entertainment from this game with the multiplayer. the only thing I have a problem with is the music. it's just mindless techno-music in the style of what ever world your playing in, and this game is LOUD. you always have to turn your television set down when you play this game. it would be nice if they could of put in a recording of "the dance of the suger plum fairy" (which, if you've read my review for Tetris worlds, you know is my favorite tetris song) on a celesta. ...
