Ok but needs graphical updates.
I had gotten this game the day it came out. Since then i've beaten the alien levels 13 times, predator 17, and marines 7. There were a tremendous number of slow-downs, and the graphics need a huge update, mostly the character models. The sound effects and voice acting are stunning, most of the time. The ships that occasionally fly above your head when your a predator are awesome! The predator's special visions are cool to have. I found the predator campaign to be much to easy! There are cheat codes for this game, but they don't work for the alien. The graphical chugging is the main issue. I've had to restart my computer at least 30 times because of this game! The gore in the game is pretty realistic but cool. Overall this game is mostly fun but won't give that much gameplay. If you want cheat codes for this game try cheat planet.com. And remember, watch LOST.

AVP 2
This game, overall, is an excellent game. The graphics are absolutely stunning and the characters look very realistic. Also, the Predator, Alien and Marine missions are all fantastic and very fun to play. The only con is that the levels are all a bit short. The plot, however is very entertaining and easy to follow. The environments in this game offer jungles, alien hives and marine bases, so the environment is rarely repetitive. The weopons for all species are very fun to play around with and also relate to the movies very well.

AVP2 is seriously one of the best single and multiplayer games that I've ever played (beats quake2, HL1, HL2, UT2004).The single player game play is absolutely phenomenal!The human side is so scary that I was on the edge of my seat for more than half the story.The scarcest part was entering the abandoned base area where you blow torch a lock and enter into blacked out hallways that lead into the alien nest.When your night vision goggles run out of batteries, you're neck deep in aliens!Predator single player is simply fun and more of an adrenaline rush that comes with being the hunter.Alien story is hard at first, but gets easier once you molt into a drone.Probably, had the most fun with the alien campaign leaping, crawling on walls, and slashing!The human weapons are very well balanced especially for online play.There are a couple of different styles for multiplayer.The best one is survivor, where the first player that gets picked off starts out as an alien.The alien has to get humans as quick as possible because you get points for surviving as a human.When you're killed by an alien you become one so you have to hurry and wipe out the humans as well!Few probably play avp2 online any more, but this game is amazing and shouldn't be overlooked! ... I "Can't Shake the Feeling" That This Is the GAME OF THE WEEK!
Well, Tribes Vengence is unbelievably fun.The graphics make it seem that this game got released in 2007!! LOL The story line is amazing on how you can choose between a robot or a factory.You can play over 200 secret levels if you know the code of conduct.If you are a fan of World of Warcraft, Reading Galaxy, or even Green Day, you will love this game. =-).I am so addicted to this game that I almost had to eat my hammer.Luckily, Tribes 2, got rid of my vengience.Since this game has robots, it almost seems not real cause robots are not even real so that is an upset.The only reason why I was thinking about giving this game a 4 out of 5 was the smell.I am not kidding, when i got the package it smelled like roasted underwear in the microwave.They must of had a false packaging at the factory where the game was make, oh well.One thing about this game that no one else mentioned is the soundtrack.I seriously have fallen in love with the soundtrack!LOL!I was looking on the internet to find how to buy it but I couldn't.So I just tried to record it with my Talkboy, but it didn't come out too good. The cons in this game is the monthly fee to play.You have to pay an unbelievable monthly fee of 75 dollars.But I didn;t care since my Grandmother also likes to play it!So she pays the fee!She is actually better than me, and she loves blowing people up!Level 122 baby!

I can't shake the feeling that a huge oppertunity for a great game was missed here.
Once upon a time the original "Starsiege: Tribes" was the first game to introduce a wide array of features that are now considered to be the bare minimum standard. At the time things like driveable vehicles, teamwork centered multiplayer action and game types other than death match were considered nothing less than revolutionary. Tribes 2 carried on the work of the predicessor but the one thing that always prevented the game from really catching on was that it was Multiplayer only. Even *I*, a person who now loves multiplayer games over the internet, never bought into the Tribes games because of the mysterious Multiplayer only status.
Would be great, but...
Don't get me wrong. I can tell that this is a great game, with excellent graphics, good gameplay, a good storyline and interesting characters. If you have a fast, modern PC I highly recommend it. However, if you have just an OK, mid-range pc like mine (My pc has a 1 Gigabyte processor and an nVidia Geforce 9.0 graphics card), don't waste your money. I got this game with high expectations; everybody said it was great, and I couldn't wait to try it out. But when I got it and installed it, I found that it had a number of problems that had nothing to do with the game itself, and everything to do with the fact that I didn't have a "perfect" pc. First of all, the loading screen before cutscenes and before each level take about six minutes apiece. Then, once you have waited the little bar to inch its way along the screen and you are dropped into the game, it completely stops for a long time and is jerky for much longer after that. These frame-rate drops happen fairly often during the game, and there is nothing more frustrating thatn waiting forever for your save-game to load and then, when you are finally able to play, having the frame-rate drop to zero with enemies all around you. Many times I have been in the middle of a large firefight and the game lags up as I am fighting for my life. By the time the frame-rate hitches itself back up again, there I am lying on the ground dead. Needless to say, this is extremely frustrating, especially because after this happens I have to wait all over again for the game to load. So, if your computer can handle it, by all means get it. Worth the Wait
First and foremost, I'm sick of people writing about how powerful their computers are and they are having the hardest of time trying to play the game. Listen, I have a GeForce FX/MX graphics card, very ancient yes, all I did to play Half-Life 2 is download a updated driver for my graphics card, I have a lousy 20G hard drive, and yes, I deleted Freelancer and MS Money to make some room for it. My motherboard, a MSI KM4M-V Via Socket A ATX Motherboard and AMD Athlon XP 3000+ Processor

Buggy but fun game
NOLF2 has some bugs still.However it is tons of fun.
Love the Brit Accent!
I had so much fun playing this game.The accent is to-die-for.Funny.Decent play time and difficulty is moderate, too.Regular shooter game that doesn't always scare you to soil your pants.=)

Has the same problems as a movie sequel.
Cate Archer returns in a game that's bigger, more advanced, and yet somehow less fulfilling.The original NOLF was so funny because it ran in it's own universe, the sequel is very much aware of it's sixties references and pokes fun at itself at the gamer's expense.Lots of memoes/conversations pointing out the impractiality of how a secret criminal organization would work, a bad guy who returns in the form of his empty house, and so on.My worst peeve was the spawning bad guys, which wasn't good if you're stuck in the map and running low on ammo.

I eargerly awaited this game,and when it came,put it into the drive ready to go. except it wouldnt work in my Mac! there were some very minute illegible instructions on the disk about a mac-but I couldnt read them-even with new glasses.

Ice Age 2: the Meltdown
My error and I opened the package, I should have read it more completely, I thought I was buying the movie, got rid of it so can't really do a review but appreciate the opportunity so am responding.

FUN GAME!!
I bought this for my four kids to play and watch, and all were enthralled by the graphics and multiple levels.They are all big Scrat fans, so they loved that Scrat could "go ninja" and knock out bad guys.Lots of little puzzles and mini-games inside the levels.It took us a long time to finish - the big spider level was the hardest!And I thought the ending would have had a better finish than what it did, but it was still a blast to play - similar gameplay to Sierra's "The Hobbit".My seven year old has already made it pretty far - keyboard configurations are a breeze.I would definitiely recommend this game.

Strengths: Counter-Strike, one of the best games that has ever been made on PC, now just think of CZ alone.

This game has amazing single-player with bots that are smarter than any other online members, however, it lacks new features.The only difference from CSZ and CS 1.6 is the fact that the maps are tweaked and the player models look a bit better.If you have an internet connection, and you are satisfied with regular counter-strike, keep it.If you have counter-strike and your internet sucks, download bots such as ShrikeBOT or PodBot.If your internet sucks so bad you can't even download a 500 KB file that contains the bot data, get CSZero, or just buy another game.

It is a nice game to buy, comparing to IGI . Nice to play.

This game isn't bad, but like others said, it's pretty short. The new levels, and weapons are cool though, and I got a used one, and it was worth the 5 bucks.

The unknown villian Cate never got a chance to meet
As the final installement to the Nolf series, Contract Jack comes as a bit of a disappointment. Not only is the game too short to be really any fun, but the kill off the prime character way to easily. He's the best contract killer for heavens sake! Surely his death should have been at the hands of the one and only spy: Cate Archer.

don't walk, RUN !! to get this game ...
I'm a late comer to this game, but have been playing it for over 2 years now. It has only gotten better in all that time. If it has any weakness at all, it's that it has a fairly steep learning curve. You can't just pick it up and be competitive in an afternoon. But, I don't consider that a weakness, because for these same reasons, the amazing depth and balance of the gameplay, you could play this game forever and never be bored. I tell my wife that this game is my version of golf.
you aint played multi play games until you've played tribes2
Simply put, this game is a kick azz killer.Even though it's about 4 years old, the graphics are great and the gameplay fun as ever. However, tribes has a steep learning curve (took me about 4 months to be able to hold my own) The training missions do help quite a bit (that AI could have some nasty aim) But the skillz will come with time. Team work is great (provided you join a decend team) Nothing is more satisfying than seeing your clanmates fight to retake their base that was overrun after an enemy invasion, load up a couple of bombers and bomb the enemy back to the iron age, then getting some guys in the enemy base too take it over - Then parking a tank or two and a Mobile point base with a morter turrent right next to the enemy base to maximize damage. If you get tribes, you will be in for some epic battles on land, in the air, and underwater. Don't miss out on this one ;) see ya on the battle field

The start of a good one
I got interested in bloodrayne 2 when my friend bought it for his PS2. But with me I'm not into council games so when I found out it was available for PC you could only imagine my delight. One thing led to another and after finishing that I wanted to play the original Bloodrayne but was told it was no longer in print so I decided to try online. The two games are somewhat the same but I found the Originals ending to be a much harder fight and took me several attempts to defeat it.

Thisgame worth the money
Bloodrayne is a great game and let me tell yoou that some of the things that goes on in the game will blow your mind and get you to thinking about how it got started. I say it is worth buying

A potentially great game marred by some major flaws
This is a game that has a lot of potential. The sexy but deadly heroine is very well done, and is well positioned to build a story/game around. Her fighting style, which consists of two 3-foot blades which can be used simultaneously with a wide range of guns and explosives as well as acrobatic moves, makes for enjoyable and great-looking combat sequences. And there's something sadistically fun about having her jump onto an enemy, wrap her legs around him, and start draining him of blood, or simply gradually dismembering him with the blades. Old game, yet popular today.
Ok look, although this is a old game, it is one of the most popular Fps(First person shooter) games out there. Ive played this for atleast 5 years now, and my friends that I know still play cs today, like myself. From planting bombs to rescuing hostages, you'll find this game enjoyable. There are lots of custom made maps out there that can bring boardness from official maps, to playing this game 24/7. The screenshots and trailers could even grab your attention, espicially the clan trailers. If your looking for a great fps game, this is it. =D

ahh cs, what would online games be without you... cs is an addicting, great, fun, addicting, freind-making, addicting, cool, popular, addicting and king of online shooters. oh did i mention its addicting? when i first saw this game, i thought, wow, i wanna play that!(but my dad said no young man, ur not old enough!!:() ever since then, ive dreamed about it every night.finnally, i got it! it was a long and hard time when i had to update steam, install hl, uninstall hl, find out that i could have just bought the goty edition of hl instead of platnium, (hint hint) and install all this other crap, and finnaly, i registered, played and played and played and played and played and played and played and played and played and played and played and played and played and played and played and played and ... yea you get my point right? you might be thinking, o this game is sooooooo old and it has archaic graphics and theres hackerrs and blah blah blah blah. trust me its worth it (unless u hav 56k modem... god, it really can scar you for life....) and it has so many people playing and so many people to meet... its really a good community of gamers but sometimes annoying people pop outa nowere... *cough*hackers*cough* and also...THERES SO MANY MAPS AND WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT AND STUFF!!!!(for rpg players, it also has an rpg twist to it. u pick weapons, armor, get ranks, etc) its a great experience(sorry for repeating myself over, and overagain) so buy or live as a hermit to the gaming world. ... 50,000 people playing Counter-Strike right now?
Tribes 2 is a really fun game. Sierra/Dynamix got just about everything right. Of course, what's unique about the Tribes series is that players are equipped with a jet-pack. This adds a whole new dimension of speed, vertical movement, and FPS mayhem to the contest.
Incredible simply amazing
ive been playing tribes 2 for maybe 2 years. and in all of my experiences i have never found a game that was this good. first off, you know your in for a treat when you start a match and you see men flying around everywhere in arieal combat. The maps are huge and its easy to get lost. Tribes 2 combines rpg and first person shooting like never before. there are 3 armour types light medium and juggernaut. each carrys diffrent weaponry, for example a light can only care small equipment while a juggernaut carrys huge weapons. This gives the player a diffrent role in the game. Juggernauts defend or provide heavy attack while lights go for speed wreckign havoc at great speeds and heights. To give even more team play to the game, you dont have to be a good shooter to do well, you can go around and repair turrets or drive a tank and support your forces. As well as setting up defenses in your base or putting mines in areas where the enemy keeps harrasing you. There are 6 types of veichles. Ranging from fighters (shrikes) to bombers to motor cycles and transports and a mobile base. The game is clearly made to support clan warfare because in the menu you can see tribe websites as well as plan fights in the chat rooms. There is also a single player which is basically a tutorial. It has no real storyline though. This game was made for the online play. But if your internet is too slow or your in a lan party, you can put up to 16 bots which are smart but ultimatley not as fun playing with as humans. The game is also made better by allowing players to create their own maps weapons and characters and veichles so you can have a diffrent experience in the same game. The only downside to this though is that sometimes the game will exit in an unhandled expectation. Although this is rare it will really get you mad. Though if you download the patch which is mandatory for online play, it will happen even less. In summary to me this game is a one of a kind that combines team play with action and creativity. although the learning curve is pretty steep you will still love it. buy it or wait for the upcoming sequel tribes: vengeance.
