5-0 out of 5 stars The best version yet
This game is seriously awesome! Most of the gameplay is the same as the original red, blue, and yellow versions, except with way better graphics. The wireless trading system rocks, I have a friend who has leaf green and we trade a lot to get the pokemon we need. A nice addition is the Sevii islands, they offer a lot more things to do, and they also are home to the day care center where you can breed pokemon(I already have like 10 charmanders, and of course you can't breed legendaries).Another fun addition is the shiny pokemon (pokemon that are unusually colored) I haven't found any yet, but my friend has a golden machoke and a yellow magikarp.

3-0 out of 5 stars No Concorde!
Having found FS2002 to be quite a novelty despite its rather poor landscapes I bought FS2004 for my son. I have found some of the graphics improved on, runways, airport installations, planes ... but others just as horrible as previously.
4-0 out of 5 stars Need a joystick
I am thoroughly enjoying Flight Simulator 2004 now that I have a joystick (LogitechExtreme 3D Pro). The simulator ran poorly on my laptop from the keyboard (no numbers pad, sluggish and uneven response). Performance was better but still disappointing using the full keyboard of my desktop PC. In spite of the claim to be keyboard friendly, the flying lessons are far better suited for use of the joystick.
3-0 out of 5 stars good graphics limited options
I was somewhat disappointed after having used Flight Sim 2000 and then upgrading to 2004.The graphics are better and the upgrades are good but the options for aircraft are too limited for what I expected.Mooney Bravo is the only light single retract. There are lots of speicality and unique aircraft but just too few "general aviation" types.

I dont own this game but i tried a DEMO at Best Buy today and i want to say it was awesome!!!! my Dad even played and he's 39 yrs old! yet im only 10 lol Me and my Dad were addicted to the song " I love Rock n' Roll" i just want to say if you like rock this is a must buy! (note: i am a child under my moms name)

5-0 out of 5 stars Couldn't Resist the Siren Song of Rock 'n' Roll
I had seen the crowds many times gathered around a screen in the electronics stores as someone took a turn playing the Quick Play mode.I was impressed by the variety in songs and the unique form of gameplay. Finally, after months of debating, I put in an order on Guitar Hero II.November couldn't come fast enough.
5-0 out of 5 stars In our 50's and love it!
Great for hand-eye coordination in us older folk and we found we can still keep a beat to rock music! We are past the rock music era, but suprised to see several songs we grew up with that we still remembered. We did fair on the beginning level, but only played a few times.Had a great time interacting with our daughter and son-in-law and getting a bit "hip" once again. It was GREAT!! ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Gouge me some more....I like it
First, let's establish one thing here. There is nothing in this expansion pack that shouldn't have been included in the original game. The only reason why I bought it, is because I am drawn to real-time and turn based strategy games like a fly to a bug zapper.
5-0 out of 5 stars First Expansion pack for the Long Awaited Sequel
This expansion pack has made Civilization IV much much better...although it would have been nice if these features came with the original game ....it has greatly increased the fun factor of this game...atleast for another 6 months...there is word on a second expansion pack suppose to go a completely opposite direction of this one...I do kind off wish they made something other than the war aspect in this one...but I guess the second will be so much better now...give it a good balance...I like the fact that they included online part (pit boss) in this one...I wish they had more civs for this one...plus in a way if you wait until the second expansion everything in this expansion will be included..so its kindaa waste...but if u cant wait until then and if you area civ finatic like me..then you should get this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent expansion
Long term civ fans may groan when an expansion appears, offerings to previous games in the series having offered little in the way of interesting play, but merely offered a few ornements like a new civ or some new units. Not so with Civ 4: Warlords.Of course this offers the usual, a few new civs like Koreans, Vikings, Carthanaginians, and the return of the old favorite Zulus, but that is what makes this a worthwhile expnasion. On the side of the mundane and worthwhile, the game now does things like dispalys the odds for each encounter when you attack, a useful addition to learning players.Of strategic interest the game gives each civ a unique building, really a variant on a pre-existing structure, but a wrinkle that will give players some food for thought.

5-0 out of 5 stars We'd give it 10 stars if we could!
Kids and adults love solving the puzzles. It is a great intro to basic physics (w/o your kids realizing it!)There are problems to solve and you have to place tools (pulleys, balls, dominoes, candles, etc.) in the right place in order for the goal to be accomplished. Our 5 year old needs help; our 8 year old plays alone. Our friends' teenagers enjoy it also.

5-0 out of 5 stars ~WOW~
This game is a lot of fun. You need to use your head and think about how to solve all of these "wacky contraptions." At first, I thought it was a challenge, but then it got easier and easier. I'm almost at the end of the game and can't wait to see what happens!

5-0 out of 5 stars North Dakota Kid
I am 8 years old and I got Crazy Machines for my Birthday. This is the best game in the world but if you don't like complicated things you won't this game. The four main things are fire, rope, electronics, and the next one I will let you discover. You can either build your own machine or you can figure out problems that may seem hard but after you've done them awhile they are easy. Some of the things that you can build with are boards, balls, robots, cannons, goo, blimps, cords, gravity controlers, scissors, tubes, and plants.Buy this game and have tons of fun! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Never got to the first and I don't care
I never played the original and don't really want to. This game was such a treasure to find with it's phenomonal music and graphics, engrossing gameplay, twisted plot, and the variety of characters possible to play. I have lost a lot of sleep over this game and I'm not even half way done.
3-0 out of 5 stars Solid, but contains the pitfalls of most tri-ace games...
My experience with developer tri-ace's games dates back to the original Playstation era with Star Ocean:The 2nd Story. Like most gamers on this side of the world, this was probably the one of the first tri-ace titles that had and created enough of a buzz to form a niche of fans. The other game, which is credited with a simular yet even bigger buzz, was the original Valkyrie Profile.
4-0 out of 5 stars A Good Follow Up to a Fantastic Game
Valkyrie Profile is a cult classic. No matter how you look at it.It was one of those games you either loved or hated.Obviously enough people loved it enough for Square-Enix to re-release the original on the PSP and make a second one on the Playstation 2.The end result is a great game that should satisfy fans of the original.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of their best expansions yet
EA Games has to be the best game company out there. They take a great thing like The Sims (the original) and make it even better with each expansion and with the new Sims 2 and their expansions.

4-0 out of 5 stars Another piece of the pie...
It's interesting how the Maxis empire has evolved over the years. The very first expansion pack way back when was pretty revolutionary - it seemed like not very many companies were doing such a thing as releasing expansions. And back then it gave what the users were demanding - new objects.Today our demands are much higher as consumers, yet Maxis still doesn't *entirely* listen. It seems like with the Sims 2 their strategy is to release one new aspect of the game that fans have been wanting for ages - while still leaving out a big chunk of things people desire.
4-0 out of 5 stars A Great Game!
My sister got Sims 2: Open for Business for her birthday. As Sims fanatics, we wanted to control how our Sims worked. In the Original Game, we even made pool centers- complete with hot tubs- but we would have to use cheats to get any money; we couldn't charge other Sims for hanging out. This expansion puts a whole spin on the game, adding in an whole new part to the Sims. As previous review said, for a couple of hours a day, your Sim would just drive off in a car, and come back 9 hours later saying that he's made $374.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect way to kill time on long and short trips
I'm a man in my late 30s who used to enjoy video games, but between work, going back to school, and children, I just don't have time for gaming any more.So it's been ~5 years since I tried any gaming system, much less a handheld (which I've always viewed as worthless from a gaming perspective).Recently, I had a long business trip, and friends recommended the Nintendo DS Lite and Advanced Wars:Dual Strike.I bought both on their recommendation and I can honestly say it is a truly fantastic experience. It made the trip fly by, I wasn't even interested in the movie or reading. It even worked great to defuse my frustration about having to wait for an hour in a slow-moving security line.In this review, I'll speak about the game, and will write a separate review for the system. 5-0 out of 5 stars Rock On!
The game is a fighting game where you get to decide where to go and what to do. It is a lot of fun, with pretty good graphics. My favorite thing is that it has both easy and hard levels. It keeps my interest.

5-0 out of 5 stars Advance Wars: Dual Strike
I really enjoyed this game because I've played the second version and liked it. I also liked it because it's a great overall DS game. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Totally not what I expected
I bought the Xbox 360 premium system 3 weekends ago and I took it back for a full refund the following weekend.I had trouble with the console locking up on me, and overheating. It was only a matter of 2 or 3 minutes of turning it on when it began to blow hot heat out the back of the console......it was just like having a space heater running in my bedroom. I assume it was on it's way to the "Ring Of Death" and that's why I took it back. The games aren't that great either. I feel the system was very rushed and has poor quality in the machines. My advice is avoid the Xbox 360.The origial Xbox is twice the machine and I have never had any problems with it.

1-0 out of 5 stars buyer beware
The copy of SimCity4 that I purchased came without the access codes to support instillation. When I called Electronic arts all I got was an automated phone system... press 2 now... EA's manufacturing quality control is so poor that they had a selection for products without access codes! I could never find a way to talk with a human beibng about the problem. The automated voice suggested solution was to send the product to them at my expsnse to prove that it came without the access code! I have returned the game to Amazon for a refund. I would never buy another EA product.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the BEST GAMES
OK, let's put it straight. This game is very organized. It contains lots of options for transportaion and civic structures. The graphics are pretty darn good and the sound is mildly decent. But then there are the downs. It may get a bit sluggish when the city is VERY BIG!!! So, this game is still very good.
4-0 out of 5 stars This game was good!
For those that have have played similar games like Sim City before, this one was great! I have played Sim City 2000, but that was years ago. I had found that game addicting. Now, years later, when I ordered Sim City 4: Deluxe Edition, I was blown away! This game is much better than 2000 could hope to be. They have resolved many of the issues that I had with the older game and then some. I have found this game to be addicting to, and have started different cities at the same time. I am working on getting the "perfect city" for me to be happy with. I highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of any of the Sim games. I could even say at times it was funny even to read the tongue-in-cheek sayings that come up just as you are starting up the game for the day like "Bureaucratizing Bureaucracies". It was not so much hilarious but, it can help you get in the "fun mode" to play the game. The advisors can get slightly annoying after awhile, especially when you have a different idea about what you want to see in your city than they do, but it is still overall a very entertaining game. My next purchase will most likely be Sims 2, for more of the Sims experience. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Addictive
This game is addictive on the online game space. The campaign play is okay. But everyone knows you can beat the regular games with ease. But when you play online, definitely definitely a big big winner!Lots of strategies, lots of options.
2-0 out of 5 stars They ruined the Age of Empires reputation with this.
I played the original Age of Empires, both I and II, and their expansions, and for the time they were released, they were the best thing out, easily. For their time they were innovative, and brought new ideas, graphics and notions to the RTSs. However, this game does little that is innovative, and almost nothing that has not, by this time, been done in almost any other RTS. This game offers nothing new to the market.
5-0 out of 5 stars It's kinda like crack
This is not a perfect game. It is unbalanced and at times over reliant on youu being able to micro the hell out of your villagers rather than creating any viable military strategies. Yet, for a period of about 2 months I did nothing but play this game. I would play alone. I would play with my roomates, then alone again. Once one of my roomates was bitter when I played alone, after saying earlier that I would play with him. It was collective addiction. All of us were addicted and obbsessed with the game. We would play till the early morning and also between classes, when we had 20 minutes or so to spare. This game consumed our lives and a soundtrack of power metal and elegies to the greatness of this game filled the air. We would speak of the intensity of addiction. We would mention all of the times that we thought about the game in the least opportune moments. I would lie to my girlfriend that I had essays to write in order to get another few hours to play the game. In fact, I would sneak out of her room at 12 in order to play the game till 4 or 5 in the morning.

5-0 out of 5 stars the best pokemon yet
this is the best pokemon game yet at first I had doubts about this game but I found pokemon yellow and played this at my friends house and I couldn't believe how good this game was the graphics are great the poke mon are great too this is a must buy

5-0 out of 5 stars The best Pokemon game to date
When Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire came out, I was very distraught to learn that some of my favorites from the original Game Boy generation, particularly Nidoking and Persian, were absent from them. Furthermore, since the Advance Generation employs a different system for Pokemon stats and is on vastly different hardware, I could not upload my power Pokemon from Crystal or Blue. And there were some things that annoyed me about Ruby/Sapphire, including the spineless rival and outlandish town concepts (Who builds a town atop trees or inside a crater?).
5-0 out of 5 stars A tough but fun game
This game is pretty tough mainly because the elite four is hard. But once you beat them theyre are seven islands to explore including island 8 and 9 accesed only through the nintindo events.I gave this game overall 5*****s because the game althroughout kanto and the nine islands are very fun to explore and unlock mysteries. And I gave it 4****s on the funness level because the elite four gets on my nerves because the last battle is your rival and hes plane tough. But it has great graphics and the features like the teachy tv the vs seeker the berry pouchand also has the net ball the nest ball I think it also has the timer ball to.I also like the fact that it comes with a wirrless adapter. But this game can be described in one word and that is fun. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game for the PSP
I got Madden 07 last week and I can't stop playing it.In Respone to the First Reviewer, you can cancel out of a audible by pressing Triangle. The Mini Camp games are a great way to waste time. The END 2 END game is great, and also you can play it without getting bored. The best part is the fact that there is Infrastructure mode, which allows you to Play anybody around the world. The only problem with Infrastructure mode is that the connection gets lost alot and most kids end their connection when they start to lose. This makes it hard to get a good ranking, because a lost connection counts as a lose or the game doesn't count.Good game all around

4-0 out of 5 stars Good but not Great
I just got my PSP and Madden 07, so can't compare to last years.I will say the game play is "good".I found two issues playing this game. If you audible out of a play, sometimes you can't hike the ball.So you are left with either taking a time out or taking a 5 yard penalty. This affects game play quite a bit. Also somtimes if you score a TD, Madden says a D linemen knocked down the pass. This is just irratating but does not take away from game play.Overall I like how easy it is to play. The point system for the goals is realy great and it makes you a better player.I dont use the blocker controls because it is a pain.Over all good.

5-0 out of 5 stars Big improvements, way to go EA!
I previously owned madden 06 for psp and while i found it to be pretty fun, the infamous loading time really brought the fun factor to its knees.EA fixed this problem and a few more with 07 and overall this game is GREAT.Great graphics, great sound, challenging situations, and more to love.

1-0 out of 5 stars Good game
Pros:
4-0 out of 5 stars A foxy DS game
I've always felt that Nintendo treated its Starfox franchise like a lab rat. Even the original, which was released on the Super Nintendo, used the FX Chip, a new 3D technology. Starfox 64, what I consider the pinnacle of the series, was the first major release to use rumble technology and launched bundled with Nintendo's N64 Rumble Pack. Starfox Adventures took things to the ground and ultimately failed as a boring, fetch quest marathon. Starfox Command, the series' first handheld debut, puts Starfox back where he belongs: in the sky. But it does so in a strange, DS-appropriate way that isn't quite great but it also isn't bad, either.
3-0 out of 5 stars Fox Down
With the success of the Nintendo DS system, many delightful franchises have made a splash on the game system, and did it well. From the highly acclaimed adventures of Mario, to the puzzled-maddening addiction of the classic Tetris games, many of them have gone through a great, and driven transition. For the Star Fox franchise, many gamers felt that the appeal of the game series was a diaster from the past few games. Although the game system handled well on the revolutionary Star Fox 64, for the Nintendo 64, many felt the game franchise missed out completely from the Nintendo Gamecube era: 2005's Star Fox Assault, and 2002's Star Fox Adventures. Can Fox McCloud and company reclaim the fame so many thought missed out before?

5-0 out of 5 stars This is the golf of NBA video games: frustrating and awarding
Smooth as silk fluid gameplay and animations are the stars of this show.Decent Next-gen graphics that cannot be fully appreciated unless on high-def.Those who say otherwise, must be kidding. There is no way the original Xbox or PS2 could handle such renderings. Renderings, animations, shooting and dribbling styles are practically personalized for every player. Each character looks remarkably like their real life counterparts (in a somewhat cartoon-like fashion) with a few scary exceptions mentioned in other reviews found here.It looks like a souped up arcade in the tone of graphics and powerful fluidness that plays strictly like a sim.And this is where the game falls on its face if you are coming off of Live.
1-0 out of 5 stars Are you Kidding Me!!!!!
Come on people. Seriously, this game sucks, for numerous reasons!
5-0 out of 5 stars Great B-Ball Game
My first sports game for the XBOX 360, and the best sports game I have ever played.Amazing graphics, great gameplay, and just the right amount of challenge. And playing online with other people is so seamless, it feels like you are in the room with them.A must buy!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars If you enjoyed the movie, you'll enjoy the game!
This game is all around great. The game basically allows you to move up the ranks in the Corleone family while playing through the movie script, then you get to destroy all the other families and ultimately take over New York City. Buyer Beware, this game is additive so take care of all other priorities before playing this one. Worth the sixty bucks!

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the Rare Xbox360 games thats justifiably worth $60 dollars......
This game is awesome! The graphics, game play, storyline, and playability ranks among the best of the xbox360 games made - if not the best. This is a type of game you will get your money worth out of. The very first time I turned it on I played five hours straight. It is very addictive. One of the main things I ask myself before buying a game is how long will it take before I get bored of it. Most game I get bored of rather quickly. Taking into account XBox360 games cost $60 dollars this is very important. This is a type of game without a doubt I'll spend over a 100 hours playing.
5-0 out of 5 stars WOW!!!!!!!!!!!
This game is great! All of the controls are very easy and the graphics are great. I love how you can just mess around and rob banks and steal stuff while or instead of following the missons. There are tons of cool missons and guns. I like all the moves u have during hand to hand combat and also shootin people up close ... Read more
