5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best games of the year!!!
This games Cars is a very fun game to play over and over again. There are lots of diffenent races to race in with a lot of diffenernt style race tracks. The stirring in the game is very easy for anybody of any age to get used to...I recommend getting this game for a Birthday, Christmas gift, or just to take with ya on the road....

1-0 out of 5 stars Not worth it
I bought this game for my son after seeing the ads on TV for it in conjunction with the movie. It's a series of races to get trophies for. It's not a file game either so once he beats it, that's it.He can rerace but no trophies are available. This game's better for PlayStation, GameCube & Xbox. We'll be getting the GameCube in a few months & I plan to buy the Cars game for it.If you want this game for the Gameboy Advance, you're wasting your money.Get a different game for your child.

3-0 out of 5 stars STAY AWAY FROM THE GAME
it is sooo dumb!! all they do is race. i thought it was going to be like the movie like trying to find back to the road or something but it is just racing. the graphics are terrible. save your 30 bucks and buy another game!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Question
Why am I seeing this game for hundreds of dollars?Has it become a collectors item?Hopefully for those who are paying that much, Sony doesn't decide to produce more and bank on the current lunacy.Great game though...

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the greatest RPGs ever made
Though this title feels a bit outdated now, back in 1997 it was considered revolutionary, and for good reason. The graphics IMO stand the test of time with lush, beautiful landscapes and detailed backgrounds... though TBH the character designs leave quite a bit to be desired. The epic and incredible musical score matches the emotion conveyed by every scene in the game, this is truly some quality composing (BTW, buying the OST for this game would be a wise investment). Each of the several characters are given convincing feelings and depth, and by the end of the game you'll probably think you actually know these people. Though the game can be a bit easy at times, overall the game is paced very well, no really challenging bits coming up at unexpected times. The villain of the game, Sephiroth, is very well thought out and sinister, though TBH I didn't like him as much as Kefka from FFIII (the American version). The ATB battle system utilized in the game really keeps you on your toes, you've really got to prepare carefully for some of the tougher boss fights. The amount of side quests in the game are plentiful, with most of them being challenging, fun, and very rewarding. All in all FFVII holds a very special place in my heart not only because of its nostalgic value, but also because it's a genuinely great game. Anyone who hasn't played it yet should make an effort to do so right away, though I would recommend trying to find it cheaper than what the Amazon sellers are currently asking for it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great once Now it is outdated
Final Fantasy VII was a revolutionary title to say the least. The game contained several things that wowed gamers everywhere such as beautiful graphic, new battle system(limit break, materia) and actually engaging plot. When I played it in 1997!!, I absolutely loved it and thought that it was oneof the greatest game ever made.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game
When I first heard of this game, I basically ignored it. Then, when I was visiting Gamestop one day, I decided to buy it. I was instantly amazed by the unique battle system, the bright and cheerful backdrops, (except for Twilight Town, that is) and the challenging and profound gameplay.
5-0 out of 5 stars A worthwhile game for all that have a game cube
Paper Mario: The thousand year door is an awesome game! One time I played it for 4 hours straight, but your probubly wondering about the game, not me. Well, first of all, I would say this is a very creative game for everyone. The music and replay value arent to good, but it is definantly made up by the awesome gameplay, graphics, characters, and story. It made me laugh a few times and it was GREAT FUN when you first play it all the way through. The way it does battling is similar to pokemon, but a bit more complicated, but it is really fun. I realy like the punies and TEC the computer and yoshie. The bad guys are the X-nauts and I beat the crud out of them for what they did to TEC. As always, I highly recomend this game to anyone with a gamecube for someone who wants a pretty long and a bit of a challenging game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Paper Mario, another great

1-0 out of 5 stars How much time do you have?
This game is a blast- no way around it.But Steam, Valve's annoying memory hog run in the tray adware copyright protection content delivery applicationis a constant source of screaming fits.Every time I sit down and I just want to play for 30 minutes or something before work or school, Steam throws an error and refuses to let me into the game, even going so far as to tell me that I do not own the game, or its "unavailable."
1-0 out of 5 stars Excellent game, spoiled by the most intrusive piracy protection ever!
I endorse all the other reviewers postive comments about this game.As 1st person shooters go, it's about as good as they get.But I felt I had to post a warning for anyone who, like me, had no idea about this 'Steam' anti-piracy thing.
5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best ever.
To say this game is great is an understatement. The level of immersion and graphical quality present in this game are almost unparalleled. The best part of this edition is the addition of Half-Life 2 Deathmatch. There's nothing better than playing multiplayer with the gravity gun! Also, this version is far superior to both the original PC and XBox versions. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Less is More
The new zoo tycoon 2 definitely has great graphics and it's also definitely more fun -- but I think it's more fun for the younger set!I loved the first zoo tycoon and that would still be my preference -- it required a lot more thought and strategy to complete the goals and keep everyone happy.Over the years I completed all of the scenarios.I bought zoo zycoon 2 because my [...]grandson was visiting. He enjoyed it, but I still haven't been able to get in to it myself. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars PS2 Network Adaptor
It works very well, and the only problem I've had with it was signing up. After that, everything works great.

2-0 out of 5 stars Fun....for about an hour
I received a PS2 Network Adapter for Christmas in 2002.It was easy to set up, and soon I was playing Madden online!Shortly after my first game, my daughter tripped over my controller cord and the PS2 slid about halfway off the shelf. No biggie, right?Wrong. The PS2 wouldn't read the Network Adapter after that.I tried putting it into a friend's PS2 and it worked fine.I would basically have to pay to get the problem resolved with this PS2, or buy another.I voted NO on both options.Upon looking into this situation online, I noticed that other people were having the same problem with minor drops and bumps to the PS2.

5-0 out of 5 stars Rocket Slime is the best adventure on the DS yet
Last November's Dragon Quest VIII initiated the series' return to western shores and flew off of store shelves, offering dozens upon dozens of hours of traditional RPG gameplay and a Final Fantasy XII demo disc to boot. With that game's popularity, it's no surprise to me that SquareEnix has stuck around in 2006 to offer American gamers two spin-offs of their Dragon Quest/Dragon Warrior series. The first of these two spin-offs, with the latter Dragon Quest Swords coming to the Wii in November, is Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime. This is a DS game that captures familiar Zelda-like gameplay with its own cutesy charm and intuitive control style, and it does all of this very well, rounding off one of the best DS carts to come out in 2006.
4-0 out of 5 stars Almost a sparkling gem for the DS
The game has quite a few good aspects to it. The single player asks for you to collect things like in Powerstone 1 & 2, while it also has a gameplay that resembles zelda. It also incorporates a fair level of humor that pokes fun at several things (wii, famous people, etc.). Multiplayer in this game is good and where all the benefits of furious collecting are seen. Strategies arise and the game becomes like Armored Core and how certain strats will work dominate or be dominated. I found that this game was pretty good.
5-0 out of 5 stars Simple, clean and hectic fun!
I bought this game on a whim after seeing a preview for it, thinking "What's the worse that could happen?" Unfotunately the worse that happened is that a good chunk of my free time has been devoted to this game. Most of the time, it's Zelda-esque adventuring and item collecting, but embedded within that are the delicious tank battles that propel this game to greatness. A highly recommended DS title! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Same GTA smaller package
This was the first game I purchased for my PSP.It has graphics that are comparable to the PS2, in fact I was impressed by the similarities. You get the same run and gun (and drive) experience you expect from the GTA series. That said, it is the same run and gun experience. If you played GTA Liberty City on the PS2 you will be playing the same GTA on you PSP.There are some missions that vary here and there but for the most part it is the same game.If you beat it for the PS2 I cannot recommend purchasing it for the PSP.You do get the GTA experience but after only 5 hours of playing it I was already bored. If you get kicks out of deja vu than you might want to pick it up again, or if you never played the original.Overall it is a good game that I recommend to PSP owners that never played the original. To those who have already dedicated hours to the PS2 version, your money is better spent elsewhere.

5-0 out of 5 stars Been there done that sorta but a piece of Rockstar on your PSP
I recently bought a PSP so I will have the system when Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories comes out this fall.I am a big fan of Rockstar Games titles so Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories was the first game I purchased for my PSP.It is nice to have a little piece of Rockstar on your PSP. Of course the missions are new and the main player actually talks this time.
4-0 out of 5 stars All around good game.
I enjoy this game quite a bit and it is definitely fun.It has basically the same map as the original Liberty City which was expected. The missions of course are totally new although they still are that Grand Theft Auto feel.I wish some of the controls were a little different like looking around while you are driving. You can't control the vehicle and look around at the same time. Some pretty funny missions too. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great game
Remember Mike Tyson's Punch-out? This game is like that but on crystal meth!

4-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic game in every way
This is an amazing near-launch title. This game has great simple controls that take skill to master rather than just being difficult to control.Great graphics, fluid framerate, nice replays. All around the game engine is great, the only downside being that since they had to release it as fast as they did there isn't a ton of content.

4-0 out of 5 stars Lots of fun, especially stress relieving.
I come home from a long day at work and I enjoy just being able to just beat up on some computer generated character.I haven't tried the online mode yet and fighting with other people on the net, but I am waiting for my Gold Subscription card to come in so that I canchallenge some guys on the net.I don't have a HD tv yet, so I can't see the true graphics of this thing, but so far it is great even on a regular TV.Some of the mini games to train are a little hoaky, but the game play outweighs that. And I don't mind that some of your oppenents throw the same punches over and over again, makes it a little easier to beat em.But even then, some of em are pretty tough cuz they are fast and can take a lot of punches.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not the best Mario game for GBA...
This game is sortta boring. There are not many glitches in this game, but most of the glitches from the SMB2 NES version have somewhat got copied into this game. The bosses and baddies are VERY LAME and VERY STUPID!!! Don't care about them, and just beat the crap out of them so you can get it over with! The characters also make stupid coments. This game is VERY wierd.

2-0 out of 5 stars Significantly worse on the GBA
This game is a big disappointment from Nintendo.First off, the original game wasn't all that great to begin with due to its tiny worlds, nonexistant powerups, and simple boss characters. However, what makes this game a real loser is that it's worse than the the SNES remake on the Super Mario All-Stars game and even the original NES game!
5-0 out of 5 stars WOW!
i was blown away at SMB2 on the NES, and on SMB ALL STARS ON THE SNES, but on the gameboy, I still love it! the only thing i have a problem with are the voices, and the amount of space you have on the screen, it's so small, but overall, Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars True Review
First off, lemme just say that I am a nintendo fan, I have been since I first got a NES system at [...] years old in 1988.I have had every Nintendo home console since then and loved it.I bought a GC in 2002 and really fell in love with it.I eventually traded it with my brother for a computer...dumb move.Years later i bought another one used from a friend but never played it b/c of school and sold it.Well its 2006 and I am buying a gamecube as of today b/c i miss it so much even after getting into PC games like World of Warcraft and Half-Life.Here's why:
5-0 out of 5 stars Gamecube Testamonial
Hello Everyone. I have owned and used consistently, and sometimes on occasion violently used (as in throwing the controller or sometimes breaking some controllers due to abnormal stress on the buttons) my gamecube for over 4 years. And in the course of that time I've gone through 9 controllers. Your best bet is to go for the wireless. They rock and they last alot longer. Our gamecube has only stalled 3 or 4 times playing starwars rebel strike. A glitch in the game most likely. Its insane! The gamecube can last forever. The only problem we have just recently encountered would be the spring breaking and having trouble opening the gamecube up. That's it though. Everything else is simply smooth sailing. If your thinking of going for the next generation systems please be warned. Many of these systems have some interesting bugs that they still need to work out. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars ...#1 title in 2006
great game. fast paced, hours of fun for my kids, no violence. Just all around great!way better than diner dash and crazy burger!

5-0 out of 5 stars Let em eat cake
I purchased this game after trying it on Yahoo games. This is the most fun I have had with a PC game.Jill must be on her toes if she wishes to save her grandparents bakery. She will be expected to bake various shapes of cake with different colored icings. As the game progresses, she will be able to purchase faster ovens, icing stations that ice cakes quicker, decorative toppers to put on the cakes, a television to entertain and calm the demanding customers, etc.The clients are a wide range of fun characters, old women, kids, college students, businessmen,Uncle Sam, Cupid, vampires, Easter bunnies and yes, even Santa joins the fun.The game gets progressively harder and the action gets more frantic.Don't forget to upgrade Jills shoes, she's gonna have to fly to keep up with the demands. This game is addictive and fun for all ages.My only complaint is I wish there was a never ending option where you can just make cakes, like Diner Dash has.Give this game a try, it's well worth the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome
If you love diner dash you will love this game to...Awesome challanges...Purchase this here for a fraction of the cost.I loved my seller she was fast and gave me the info fast. ... Read more

Only have had this keyboard for a shot time, It works very well at night, you can easily see the keys and they have a good feel to them. Unless you want to spend alot more money this gets my approval!

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth it
Wasn't sure if the illumination would truly be visible at night. It is. Very helpful for those late night online rampages. The keyboard is very solid. For those of you that had a generic keyboard that slid all over, this one won't. Took just a little bit of time to get used to the slightly smaller keys than what I had. Think overall it is well worth the $.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best fighting game for the PSP
If you're into 3D fighting games, this game will meet your high expectations and exceed them. This game sets a new standard for 3-D fighters on a portable system. I've been dreaming of a portable version of Tekken for a long time now and there have been disappointments in the past. For example, the tekken Gameboy advance title was lacking in many areas... especially since it was not really 3-D buy only 2-D sprite driven and simulated 3-D. This game "Tekken Resurrection" however is the real deal and has finally made that dream of mine into a reality. The graphics will astound you and even the background graphics are amazing and are truly 3-D. It's really the first game on the PSP that makes you feel like you're playing a portable PS2 and using the PSP to it's full potiential.
5-0 out of 5 stars best fighting game for the psp hands down!!!
all characters unlocked to start with, tons of unlockable character accesories and costumes, beautiful graphics, extensive league play in the tekken dojos and unlockable mini games. aside from a true online fighting mode, there is nothing this game doesn't have!

5-0 out of 5 stars If you've loved Tekken in the past...
then you'll love this for your PSP.You know if you love Tekken... ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this game.
So I'm at Target browsing through the computer games and I come across this game. I think great, a Forgotten Realms game with 2 expansion packs and the updated patches all in one disc for only $20!
4-0 out of 5 stars Slight dissapointment
I purchased this game hoping to play it as soon as I got it, but as luck would have it there were no CD keys for the game in the box.The page was there in the manual it was just blank. So it took we over a week of playing e-tag with Atari before I could play :(Otherwise it's been great

4-0 out of 5 stars Installing Neverwinter Nights Diamond
This is a great game! However Atari managed to send out a whole shipment without install codes. After amazon sent me the second version without codes I contacted Atari and was informed of this mistake. Once I emailed them a photo of the area missing the codes they sent them to me. Since then I have had a lot of fun. I would have given the game five stars but even with the latest patches it still has a tendancy to crash every once in a while. I highly recomend saving frequently. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Not a true Spyro game
I regret to say that I am very disappointed in this game. I've loved the Spyro games since playing the original 'Spyro the Dragon' for PS1 and was really looking forward to this one.
5-0 out of 5 stars Spyro is back!
Finally, there is a Spyro game that is as fun as the original trilogy. When Spyro moved onto PS2, we saw the downfall with Enter the dragonfly and hero's tail (I hated a hero's tail). But this game is extremely fun, with great adventures, great voice cast. This game gets 5 stars from me! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Takes a step back from previous years....
As an avid hockey fan who wanted to finally get a chance to play with Sidney Crosby, I had been awaiting this game for a while now. While you will see a lot of the reviews harp on the negative, I'll try to keep it as even as possible with pros and cons, because lets face it, everything is going to have negatives regardless.
3-0 out of 5 stars If you don't play against a friend, you'll soon tire of this flawed game.
(Note:This review was UPDATED as of September 21,2006)
5-0 out of 5 stars What I expected, and that's not bad
I played this game and found it very fun. The controls, in my opinion, are just fine. The analog passing is pretty cool and I didn't have trouble adjusting to it. The only complaint I have is the lack of classic NHL logos; I wanted to create the Hartford Whalers but couldn't because their logo wasn't there. Just something I didn't like, I'm sure that won't bother most people. But yeah, overall I found the game enjoyable and personally I found the new controls more natural than any hockey game I have ever played previously. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Missing Game 7 and no "Talkies" on 6
I am somewhat disappointed - I knew LSL 7 was not included (although it should be, if you're releasing a "collection") but LSL 6 is the Text-only version. WTF? Sorry, the game is so much better with the voice overs.
3-0 out of 5 stars A+ for games, C for effort
The Leisure Suit Larry games are some of the best games that came out in the late 80s and early 90s, so a collection that contains all of them is certainly welcome. However, this is not that collection.
2-0 out of 5 stars Ok, but I guess I expected more.
For fans of the original 5 (1, 2, 3, 5 & 6) Leisure Suit Larry games, this is great since you can now play them on XP.I do however have a few complaints about this game.1 is that you don't get a printed manual with this game, just an electronic version that you either have the print out or bring up to be able to play the game. You also don't get a CD case, just a white sleeve. Also, I know that these are old games and don't have the best graphics, but to me the graphics are worse than they were originally, maybe I need to change the settings on my PC, but some things are so bad you can't even identify them.

3-0 out of 5 stars disappointment
I have been playing DDR Extreme 2 for almost a year as a form of exercise.I was excited to hear that a new title, DDR Supernova, was coming out, and I preordered it.I am really quite disappointed in the game.I hate the method of unlocking songs, it doesn't seem to make any sense, and I am not an idiot. The Workout Mode is lousy, the menu is not intuitive and I can't set it the way I want. Some of the new songs are great, but since I can't seem to unlock any new ones I am pretty frustrated.I had no problem unlocking songs etc. with the previous version I own.
4-0 out of 5 stars I like a lot of the songs, but hate the unlock process
I have all the other DDR and DDR-type games for PS2, and am enjoying this one so far, though I really hate the Stellar Master Mode, which you are forced to play to unlock new songs. You can get points to purchase new songs from playing the normal way, but you unlock songs to purchase by playing the Stellar Master Mode, which features all sorts of odd challenges, like strange arrows or arrows that move in odd ways. I play DDR by freshening up my instinct and so retraining my instinct to follow odd arrows is not any fun for me.
3-0 out of 5 stars DDR for a new generation!
DDR has certainly changed over the years. With the latest installment (Dance Dance Revolution SuperNova) one can see the change dramatically.Stellar Dance Mode is for most a complete waste of time as it requires us to play songs we do not want to and in modes we do not want to just to unlock songs in the game. Some of the licensed songs are remixed versions that are below par to the orginal versions while other licesned songs are thrown on here just because they are already in other bemani games (Karaoke Revolution, Beatmania USA).There are many japanese songs on this mix as well as instrumentals that seem out of place in DDR.
