5-0 out of 5 stars Finally Cooperative Mode in an Xbox 360 Title!
What can be better than a game made for adults or kids?Sly, sneaky humor that only adults will understand with the greatest toy ever created Legos! All in the theme of the best of the Star Wars movies!!
5-0 out of 5 stars Great for kids - all of us that never grew up
The original Lego Star Wars was a great little lighthearted romp of a game: an amusing way to play out the three most recent Star Wars films in virtual form. The Lego and Star Wars combo proved to also be a terrific formula for the game space, generating an experience in Lego Star Wars that was oftentimes even more entertaining than the source material it was based on. Like any good sequel, Lego Star Wars II improves on the original in almost every way. But most importantly, it's about the good episodes now. For that reason alone, Lego Star Wars II is one of the most enjoyable games of this fall. 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Gaming Fun for all ages
I loved the original Lego Star Wars game. It was incredibly fun, very replayable and had a wicked sense of humor. Lego Star Wars II is just as fun, and covers Episodes IV-VI! Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Sims 2 is awesome!!
This is actually her daughter Kris and I ve been playing it for a long while and i can say i didnt get it off here but i bought it in a store and i thought i would be disappointed by it but actually i was utterly thrilled by it!! Its the greatest sim game that was every created plus i am to believe that the expansion packs of the sims 2 will be even more enjoyable than the sims 2. The sims 2 is even better than the sims; it gets you up close and personal with the sims and the 3D version is alot better as well. The sims 2 is the most greatest simulated game ever made!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Totally Addictive!!
I bought the first Sims and loved it so when the Sims 2 came out I just had to give it a try.And you guessed it I loved it.I love the family and neighborhood interactions. The graphics are great.Being able to create your own community lots has really increased the game play.If you enjoy role-playing then this is the game for you.But beware hours and days can fly by and you will not realize because it is totally addictive.

5-0 out of 5 stars This game changed my life and my grades lol
Thanks to this game, I was going to sleep late and forgetting my college work at that time. When the first SIms was out, it was a groundbreaking genre. Totally open-ended and you control the lives of people called SIMS. With the updated graphics which are phenomenal and some tweakings but not much, the game still is one of my favorites that I still play today. Whenever I am playing it my fiance loves----wooohooo. Its hillarious and Im surprised no attention was put on this aspect. Instead more attention was on the cheat code that takes the block off the naked blur. geez cant people find something else to wine about. The sims parts are not even represented (yeah Im guilty of using the code lol).

5-0 out of 5 stars There should be more games like this for the DS
I finally got a DS and one of the first "older" games I tried to hunt down for this wonderful system was Phoenix Wright.I've been "Jonesing" for this game for awhile now. It's unique and entertaining. The choices for the court sections can be kind of linear but it's too much fun to not "love" this title.
5-0 out of 5 stars An Ace for Phoenix Wright
One of the best DS games I ever had. It does not take to be a lawyer to get fully satisfied with this game. Although this is a heavily text-based game (I mean really heavy!), you won't get tired of reading the storylines and following the details. I know you won't find this in any stores nowadays so try to order here at Amazon. This game's one of the best!

5-0 out of 5 stars Original fun
I ordered this game based on reviews alone. It's great! Will not disappoint. The only flaw is that some evidence is very specific, even when something else can be objected.Other than that a great game.Hope to see a sequel. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game. Lots of fun
What a fun game. The graphics are good. The stereo sound is awesome. There are plenty of tracks... and it's got multi-player. We've had a blast with this one. High quality fun from Nintendo.

3-0 out of 5 stars Dissapointment if you are expecting Mario vs. Donkey Kong I GamePlay!
I was really into the first MvsDK game! I preorded this but was disappointed when I started playing. It's annoying to use the stylus... and where's Mario? You just have the little wind up guys to push around... and they're not even cute like they were in the first game. A disappointment all around. I quickly sold it. I love Nintendo games but like Metroid for the DS it's too much to hold the DS in one had and push the stylus around while squinting into the screen. I like progress in gameplay and commend Nintendo for being creative but it's just annoying. Why can't I just play with the control pad while I'm laying down? I love to lie on the couch and play the DS but the way the control system is set up it's impossible. I would almost say this game sucked because the first one was so fun. Why mess up the formula?

3-0 out of 5 stars Great Fun, but very easy for single player (and no local wireless)
The game has 8 floors with 9 main levels each, a mini-game and a boss level. Plus 3 major boss levels. I found all of the main levels very enjoyable, and the 2 major boss levels fun too. The mini-games are cute, but if you've got the Mario 64 port or Super DS Mario it's basically variations of the whack a mole game.
3-0 out of 5 stars Mediocrity, thy name is Mario...
This goes along with Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time as the two most disappointing Mario games for the DS. It's not terrible, by any means; in fact, it usually is passably fun. However, it's not nearly as fun as the original. I'm not going to fault the story; neither this or the original MvDK had a particulartly engrossing story, and, really, it didn't need one. I'm going to outline firstly the negatives and secondly the positives and allow you, the reader, to decide whether it is worth thirty bucks.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun Game For Trek Fans!
For the price, it is definitely worth getting. I'm a fan of Enterprise, so I wish they had more than three levels of it. It is really cool to see all of the ships we have grown to love in Trek appear on screen, especially to see the NX-01 make its video game debut! The game can also be challenging, which is good that it is not too easy. The controls are excellent. The flying controls are so smooth; it really does feel like the ship is flying. Shatner lends his voice at the beginnings of each level, which is pretty cool. Sadly, you can't skip the story if you lose which becomes just a little annoying if you lose a lot. Overall, this is definitely worth having if you have a PS2. For the price, it is really amazing and I'm really looking forward to Star Trek: Legacy on X-Box 360!

5-0 out of 5 stars star trek encounters
Good game. Fun. Although I am stuck already trying to follow Zindi warp trails.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent star trek game
I wasn't sure about this game, but after playing and beating it, i'm glad i bought it. You start from the enterprise era, and work your way through the show, and at the very end you play the sovereign era. For 2 player, you can do head to head, battlefest, which you select 3 ships from a pre-arranged group and select the enemies ships, then battle it out through all three ships. You can also do an onslaught where you face off against all the ships in the game in increasing waves. For arenas, it was very colorful, and had a wide variety of planets and nebulas. The ship combat was very well designed, you can play a huge variety of federation, klingon, romulan, xindi, dominion, cardassian, and even borg ships in two player. The narration by william shatner (captain kirk) was a nice bonus to the gameplay. All together, it was a very well put together game, and even though it was a arcade style shoot em' up, it gave a nice storyline with a great finsish at the last mission. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Not groundbreaking--but solid nonetheless
It should be no surprise to the owners of EA games that there is nothing revolutionary about this year's release of Tiger Woods golf. That being said, the 2007 installment of this game has taken what's good about the past couple of seasons and put it together right.I have owned every Tiger Woods game for the ps2.2004 stands as the game that improved the most upon the series' previous endeavors.2005 made some minor tweaks that ended up working quite well as the result was an addictive, smooth flowing game.I thought 2006 was a minor step back as the graphics were somewhat cloudy and there wasn't much new as far as courses and options went. This year the graphics are better, there are 21 courses, and some fun new modes (ie one ball and team one ball). There is unfortunately not anything that resembles the Ryder or President's Cup format(s).The AI in the pro tournaments has improved from 2004 and 2005 making the computer scores much more competitive. All in all, for what the ps2 can do, you couldn't ask for a better golf game.Hot Shots and some others might be "fun," but no other game combines fun and realism as well as this game does.Definately worth your while if you are at all a fan of golf or this series.

1-0 out of 5 stars Stay Away!!
I have just bought this version, and am very disappointed. It is no better than the '06 version; and the graphics have not even been "tweaked" as far as I can see. The players look exactly like last years game. Also, I hate the fact that you cannot import your previous profiles into the '07 game; meaning you must begin from scratch (no pun intended) again as a rookie with very little cash! This means building a whole new character and outfitting same. The "commentary" from McCord and Feherty is no great shakes either and sounds very like the '06. The only thing you do get is a "loyalty" sponsership from Precept for being an owner of '06! There are some new features like the "World Tour" and lots of new courses and a "Team" concept also; but I still feel this was a waste of $40, and I wish I had RENTED it before buying! I will not make the same mistake in 2008! Maybe I was expecting too much? However, be warned!! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars I can't believe this is the only NFL title we get.
For context, I am a huge sport videogame fan and an even bigger NFL fan.In my opinion, NFL 2K6 was the best football game ever made, but I admit to being a little nostalgic for early 80s Mattel Football handheld.
2-0 out of 5 stars hey look another crappy game from the crappy developer EA
hey ea thanks for buying the license, and not allowing 2k to give us actual GOOD football games. This game sucks. nfl 2k5 was better then this. 2k is better then EA becuase 2k tries. EA puts the same game out with new rosters. I garuntee, put out 2k6, with the different rosters. noone will know the difference.

4-0 out of 5 stars Live Your Own Personal 'Dawn of the Dead'
Once you get your levels up and the controls down, this game is a blast; I recommend the guide to help with some 'hazy' objectives(some timelines can be confusing; what to complete by when, that sort of thing...). Otherwise, this game is simply alot of fun. Things get pretty crazy(you battle not only zombies, but cult members and the military), and I have to say that the human villians are much more evil than any of the undead(fat, lesbian security guard...I'm looking at you!). I have played this game 5 times since I got it, and each time I figure out something new...One of the funnest game titles on any system in a long time; Sharp graphics(esp. considering the amount of stuff going on and the vast number of zombies everywhere)and cool mall music. Love the 2 x 4's; My only complaint is that the save system blows, so remember where those bathrooms are. If the save system were better and the objectives were a little more clear, this would be a 5 star overall game; But it's pretty damn close.

3-0 out of 5 stars Like a frozen pizza...
It should be fun but it's like a frozen pizza. No matter what fresh pizza tastes better.... this is just a frozen pizza version of a fresh pizza game. I know it doesn't make sense... but the game doesn't either. It's frustrating. The save feature is really annoying and you get stuck trying to kill a boss. I didn't think it was very fun. Just download the demo on XBOX live. Save some bucks. Repetive game play. Walk and stalk... yuck. Frozen Pizza baby.

2-0 out of 5 stars gets tedious fast
I liked the demo enough to buy this game, but after a few sessions I got bored. The game is sort of open ended in that you can save people, but don't have to.You can also take pictures of carnage to boost your abilities-lame.However, you have a fixed time to catch a helicopter out and there are certain missions you must complete or the game ends. The whole storyline just felt slapped together at the last minute. You can search the mall for new weapons and kill them in funny ways. You can even try on different outfits-its fun to kill zombies in children's/women's clothes for a bit.But eventually I just wanted the zombies to get the hell out of my way and complete the missions. One impressive aspect of the game is that there are literally dozens of zombies moving on screen and I never experienced any framerate lags. However, the graphics were only ok and it was annoying to see the same zombie models over and over again (there are maybe a dozen or so distint zombie models).Try renting first before taking the plunge. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars The story is great, as for the game...
Before I was even done with Final Fantasy VII, I ordered this game. I loved that game, and thought 'Say, if Final Fantasy VII is this good, then VIII must be even better!', boy was I wrong! I'm not bashing Final Fantasy VIII, I kind of liked the game, but there are big problems with it. First of all, the draw system is kind of hard, but I liked it, it was a change of pace, but the way you have to equip summon GFs (Guardian Force) was hard and boring. The music in the game reminds me of the music in the movie 'AKIRA', which is a bad thing, The characters in battle remind me of crash dummies, and the way that you get new weapons is by making them at junk shops! Not only that, but the characters are not very likeable.
5-0 out of 5 stars Not the greatest FF, but awesome nontheless
While either VI or VII will probably remain my favorite FF game of all time, it's almost impossible to not include VIII somewhere in the top five IMO. The graphics are, of course, incredible, pure eye candy. The music fits every scene in the game and is done very well, though overall I think I prefer VII's soundtrack. Though I didn't become particularly attached to any one character in the game, most of the characters are done well and serve their purpose. IMO the gameplay is the weakest point of FFVIII, though I'm sure there are many who'd disagree with me. The junction system IMO was boring and a bit confusing, and the way you acquire magic spells was also very tedious, I much prefer using MP. The amount of side quests in FFVIII was also disappointing IMO, not a fraction of how many there were in VII. Moving away from the negatives, the story is done very well IMO but simply can't touch FFVII's incredible plot. All in all FFVIII probably isn't a game you'll find yourself replaying over and over, simply because of how tedious the actual gameplay is. The production values and overall quality of the game, however, are both very high and should definitely be experienced by any fan of the RPG genre.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great game for people who want something a little different
I still remember getting this game on 9/9/99, the day it came out. I love this game because of it's junction system and some of the other cool features in this game. Unfortunatly, from all of the people that I knew, people either hated the game (most of those people are on this side of the love/hate group) and a few people loved it (Extremly Hardcore RPG fans seem to love it.). I love the game but this is the Final Fantasy game that a whole lot of people just can't stand. It is a long game, especially if you get stuck, so a guide (internet or actual guide i don't care) will really help. It is the easiest game to literally reach level 100 because every 1000 exp gets you a level up but using the junction system is also an important role in the game because it can raise your stats as well. This is a game that you will have to play for yourself. before you agree with the haters, give it a spin, please. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Big Brain Academy
Big Brain Academy is very challenging yet is still a lot of fun to play with. Versus mode really tests your strengths and weaknesses. It encourages you to get better at your weakess point because you don't want to be beaten! Overall, Big Brain Academy really does train your brain and is great for children and adults alike. With a large range of games and puzzles, children as young as four can play!

4-0 out of 5 stars Better than Brain Age.
I liked this game a lot better than Brain Age, though it suffers from the same tendency - it gets old very quickly. In general I found some of the puzzles more challenging. The method of calculating scores, "brain weight," varies form game to game, and part of the trick is learning and adjusting to these methods, but some still remain pretty consistently challenging. All in all, a good game, though the novelty wears off quickly.

4-0 out of 5 stars Brain Training.
There's no playing around when it comes to "training" your brain. The test mode offers a ton of different combinations of games you can play, with each test starting out relatively easy and quickly ramping up the difficulty as the questions progress.

3-0 out of 5 stars Five stars as gaming machine; One star as a movie machine
As a gaming machine, this Sony PlayStation Portable would most likely get five stars. After all, you get to choose from really interesting titles like "Lumines," which is probably the best thing since Tetris. You get something called "Daxter," a 3-D action-platformer without Jak, Daxter's partner in the first three "Jak and Daxter" games released on the PlayStation 2, and soon, there will be something called "Ace Combat X," basically Ace Combat 4 or 5 converted to the PSP. This is all very well and good because for the first time in video game history, one has access to fully-3D action-platformers on a handheld system. On the other hand, what really stinks is giving this handheld the ability to play movies, only to have companies release certain ones. As a movie-playing machine, this PSP is definitely a one-star product. The idea of a handheld that can play movies sounds intriguing at first, but then, when one considers the fact that all movies are either going to take a very long time to be officially released in the UMD format that the PSP plays or are not going to be released in the UMD format at all, it kind of sucks the pleasure out of the fact that the machine is capable of playing movies. Moreover, it seems like whoever is responsible for releasing movies in this format is only trying to promote certain ones. If Sony really wanted to make this thing both a gaming machine and a movie machine, then why not devise a way to make it capable of playing ALL DVDs on the go, and not just the ones that the companies decide to remake for the system? After all, they did it with the PlayStation 2. There are some pretty intelligent, technical minds working for Sony, so I'm sure that they could have come up with some kind of way. If a company is going to release a handheld machine that can play movies on the go, then wouldn't it be great to have access to this feature for ALL movies, and not just ones that companies choose to release? Furthermore, in my humble opinion, with the possible exception of 'Herbie: Fully Loaded,' 'Red Eye,' 'Men in Black' and 'Ice Age,' about 90% of the movies that actually are being released in this UMD format aren't really all that good anyway, but that's beside the point. The point that I'm trying to make is that having access to some movies on the go but not others just doesn't seem fair. And yes, I know I'm probably going to get bombarded with that old "Life's not fair" cliche, but if Sony had just NOT made this thing capable of playing movies in the first place or if they had fixed it so that gamers/movie fans would have access to ALL movies on the go, then it wouldn't have to be.
5-0 out of 5 stars just got this and it WILL get better people
i just bought this system and had previously bought the silent hill experiance just to start out on it and i was very pleased with the graphics videos and content of this umd video. i will get more games as this little system packs a big punch its even got a bigger screen than the gameboy and nentendo ds. and you dont really need to look at the screen under bright light the system is bright enough to see the entire screen. all the light does is cause a reflection as for the games so far, playstation 2 started off slow the first year it came out so i would imagine the number oftitles for this system will grow rapidly soon

5-0 out of 5 stars Delighted by the PSP
This was my birthday present from my wife this year.I hadn't expected the system to be so easy to use, as much fun as it is, nor did I realize that I could easily (less than 15 minutes) add it to my wireless network and surf the web.The interface for internet surfing is not very efficient, but it's easy enough to adapt to it.Mostly, I use the directional pad to scroll to the link I want and then press X to go to that web page.

2-0 out of 5 stars Don'tdisappoint yourself
Do yourself a favor and rent the game from your local video store before wasting your money. The one thing that I really hate about this game is that you cannot jump. How dumb is that? When playing the game you have to go uncessary routes in order to get places, because you cannot jump. The storyline is pathetic. I laugh everytime I look at the case of the game sitting on top of my tv, this is where the game will stay

4-0 out of 5 stars Its an okay game, But I miss freedom and flexibility
Scarface The World Is Yours (Vivendi Games) was one of the most hyped videos games of 2006. Following the success of the Godfather game, people couldn't wait to get their hands on the Scarface game especially when some reviewers said it was as good or better than the Grand Theft Auto Games.
5-0 out of 5 stars Don't listen to the nay-sayers
I can only assume that the handful of people rating this game with one star out of five are GTA fanboys or total curmudgeons. Forget comparisons with GTA. Yes, some of the open-world gameplay elements are familiar. But this is basically a Tony Montana Simulator, and THAT'S the (very considerable) USP of the game. It's all about "What Would Tony Do?" The conversations are hilarious, the gunplay is great, the vehicle physics are solid, the drug wars game adds an extra layer of strategy and some interesting choices. Sure, there are some periods where game events hit a bit of a lull, but most other games (GTA in particular) are guilty of this. And at its best, this game is an absolute blast. Aside from the decent core mechanics, the game will MAKE YOU LAUGH constantly, which is no small consideration; it's consistently entertaining even when you're NOT busy with a mission, and you can't ask for much more than that. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars I hoped for more
This game was a huge letdown. All the potential this game had went completely to waste in a Madden type effort to take more of your money. This is far less of a game compared to Mortal Kombat: Deception. I bought this amazed to see it in the store and went home to play it rather eager. I'm a big MK fan and loved the depth that MK:D created with 3 fight systems and a whole new level of AI. However the AI here is gone and button mashing is in. The computer is able to do moves, combos and air juggles that are not possible by human players. I've tried mimicking their moves and cannot duplicate it at all.
2-0 out of 5 stars DisastrousFatality!
Mortal Kombat is one of the best fighter franchise IMO. The setting is unreal with supernatural characters, mythological yet futuristic, super bloody kombat and the famous FATALITIES are awesome. The 'dialing' fighting system is a bit funky though.
3-0 out of 5 stars Great at first - gets old fast
I'd been anticipating this game for some time, being a fairly big fan of the series, and couldn't wait until the release day.

4-0 out of 5 stars Why not buy a DS?
Why would you buy this now? It was really cool a couple of years ago but you should buy a Nintendo DS. It will play all the GBA games plus the DS games for only a little bit more. They've already stopped making games for this system. After Christmas I highly doubt they'll even have games available anymore. Get a DS. Just trying to be a buddy and help.

4-0 out of 5 stars quite possibly one of the greatest handhelds currently available today
The GBA SP is one of Nintendo's best handheld machines. It comes with a back light, a flip case which protects the screen, and it features reverse capability with the three Game Boy handhelds that came before it: the Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, and original Game Boy. The only drawback to this system is that you must buy a headphone converter jack for it, which is sold seperately and the volume does not get very loud. Other than that, the GBA SP is one handheld that is well worth owning for anyone who hasn't yet.
5-0 out of 5 stars the best gba sp ever!!!!!!!
i got this system today and it awesome.this system is way better then the game boy micro.it has a brighter screen than the original gba system.i would recommend this system to all nintendo fans.the gba sp has a good price of $59.99 for a used one.the new one is $79.99. you must hurry and get the new brighter backlit gba sp. they come in two new colors: pearl blue and pink.if you are planning to get a game boy micro don't get it! the screen is too small and you can hardly see the text. plus, it cost $20 more than the gba sp and it can't play gb/gbc games. some really good games for the gba are pokemon ruby\sapphire,tony hawk pro skater 2,donkey kong country 2,mario vs donkey kong, mario and luigi:superstar saga, castlevania: circle of the moon, wario land 4,yoshi island 2,mario super circuit, super mario bros., mario golf: advance tour, and doom 1/2.you could also try nba jam 2002, nhl 2002, disney sport basketball, backyard basketball 2007. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars It;s nice, but...
Downloading objects from fan sites can be hit or miss -- I have had many collections I've downloaded work incorrectly or not work at all in the next expansion pack, and items I really liked were suddenly unavailable. So, I was looking forward to a "Stuff" pack from Maxis.
1-0 out of 5 stars Where's the glamour?
This pack offered very little of anything. The decor (very little of it) is uninspired. I was hoping to get some good artwork at least.I know a lot of people don't like to download from fan sites but don't waste your money on this junk.Believe me fansites have much better and more creative stuff for your sims and most of it is free, and none of it costas much as this glamour life stuff pack did. This is the first and last stuff pack that I will ever buy.

1-0 out of 5 stars RIp Off!
If I could give it negative 3 stars I would. This is just EA being Greedy. They could have offered it for free on the website like they did with the stuff before or they could have included it with the next expansion pack. You're better off going to one the fan site that offers better stuff to download for free. ... Read more
