5-0 out of 5 stars The Return Of Harvest Moon!
This game is AMAZING! When I got mine, I played it that exact moment. There are many things in this game like there are 14 girls you can marry, there are seasons so you can plant crops and get money, you can dig in the mines to find jewls and other things, and you can befriend the villagers and meet a mermaid! The graphics on this are very well handled, the music is really nice sounding, there are alot of characters. I reccomend buying this game...it is GREAT!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game
This game follows in the same line as most other harvest moon games, but seems to take place after A wonderful life. Everyone already knows your father is dead, and your not really new. You have the same problems, getting married, growing crops, raising livestock, but now, you have to find harvest sprites. Its kind of like Magical Melody, but when you rescue certin harvest sprites, they will help you with things like watering crops, petting your livestock and more. One of the many new great things about this game is the basement. you can get up to three of them, and if you dig in the mine you will find diffrent suns (spring, summer winter, fall). Using these, you are able to grow crops that grow in that sun anytime. That means during winter you can still have a good crop income. One bad thing is that your buildings can fall down if made out of something weak. If animal sheds, bird sheds, or any other building that holds things falls down, you lose what was in there. So you can lose all your animals in a bad storm.
5-0 out of 5 stars I want it,and the reviews sound great!
I have a DS, and I've been looking for some cool interesting games for some time. Then I found Harvest Moon DS, and it sounds great!! You can even marry someone and have children! Based on the reviews, I think this is a totally great game for those who have not played Harvest Moon yet. If you're looking for another game that sounds good, try Animal Crossing: Wild World, Nintendogs, or Tamagotchi Corner Shop. They all are great! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars If you own an XBOX360, you need to own this game!!!
Okay let me go on record as saying I LOVE this game so far (about 50% thru) from the stellar graphics to the non linear deep story. Is it the best in the series, THAT is a matter of opinion.I will say however that it IS MY favorite Splinter Cell (SC) to date. And I have played and loved them all, even found joy in the PSP version. But one thing particular makes this one my fave and that is the Story.I will not spoil anything but it is truly engrossing. Now let me follow my normal review format.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not great.. not horrible.. just eh..
I waited a long time to buy this game because my brother told me not to waste my money.I'm glad I listened to him. This game was pretty much a bad graphic movie.I would say that the game is 60% short little movies with bad graphics, 10% beautiful graphic movies, and 30% actual game play.I was so frustrated when all I wanted to do was level up, or explore and instead I had to sit there and watch a dumb movie. The main character, Tidus, was so unrealistic as a hero and Yuna, the main female character, said "yes" as her only dialogue about 100 times! Oh my god, they would have a whole movie scene just to have her say yes!!Also, there were long pauses in between speeches... it was really annoying. The game itself was ok.By the end, the bad guy was really easy... i thought he would be more of a challenge. All in all, this game is only average. The story line could have been more thought out, and instead of a twist, it was more like a confusing reality. But an even worse game is FF X-2... Stay away from that one at all cost! The one thing I really loved about this game was the sphere system for gaining skills and abilities.I wish that could be the main way from now on. Looks like FF VII is still my fav FF game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Graphics And Deep Gameplay
There is so much to see and discover in this game. It took me over 70 hours just to complete the walkthrough and I am still working on capturing all the monsters for the Monster Arena. Someone who wanted to complete all side quests, find all special items, etc. could easily spend more than 100 hours on this game and never get bored -just incredibly deep gameplay. The graphics are also outstanding, among the best I have seen in a video game. It took me awhile to get used to the Sphere Grid used to increase your characters' stats. At first I didn't find it as satisfying as the typical method of "leveling up". But eventually I began to enjoy it and it's now one of my favorite aspects of the game. The only thing I found tiresome was how long the cutscenes were. The storyline itself was quite good. But I wish it was told with shorter cutscenes or at least gave players the option to skip through the cutscenes. Still this is a minor complaint to an otherwise excellent game. Definitely worth buying!

5-0 out of 5 stars Pure Magic!
All I have to say is that squaresoft out did themselves with X. It truly is a masterpiece and a feast for the eyes. I was lost in it's story, creativity, music, and charcters. Beautiful! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A new look for the MegaTen franchise
While Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs the Soulless Army isn't actually an SMT game, it is a member of the franchise. It is actually part of a family of spin-off games in the MegaTen series that is just using the SMT name to establish connections between the different series in the franchise finally appearing in America. While not too many people are familiar with the games past, this one takes the series in a new direction. Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Rockin Clue!
After I saw the advertisement for Clue DVD I immediately went out to buy it. I've always been a fan of Clue and this updated version provides players with some new twists and excellent graphics. While you are playing the game, the Butler and an Inspector often appear to provide you with Clues about the case. Another addition to the game is added locations and having to figure the time of the crime.Any Clue fan will appreciate this version!

5-0 out of 5 stars new genre takes the cake, eats it and burns pavement
Welcome to the world of M.O.O.R. (Massively Open Online Racing). The emergence of a new genre takes the cake, eats it and burns pavement at insane speeds through blurring and beautiful landscapes that are not only massive but somehow surprisingly well-done.And here we are, standing amazed on the island of Oahu wondering if something this massive, lush and wonderful can hold up in the area of gameplay and endurance. The quick answer: Yes.The guys at Atari have done their homework despite their generic title and have bum-rushed the scene of MOOR by inventing the genre and re-iventing an old one.If you have never experienced the european lifestyle, here's your chance in a virtual world that takes your breath and makes your heart race simultaneously while you dodge traffic and rush through crudely realistic and seamless landscapes.Your mission is insanely expansive and diverse ranging from timed races, speed traps, trials, knock-out, staged quests involving transporting models and hitchikers, delivering packages and deliveringvehicles and more. It's the racing game that 'keeps on giving' for those of you, like me, who thought PGR grew rapidly tiresome after just a few races.Test drive keeps the wheels spinning on some big tires by offering a refreshing arcade/simulation type racing style that makes PGR seem like Rad Racer for the NES.The frame-rates are blistering fast and car models are dead on with their real-life counterparts down to the stick shift. The car models dynamicaly reflect the dynamically lit backdrops that are astonishing and endless. From sunrise to sunset, to artificially lit tunnels to natural shade from valleys, trees, hills and oceans -- it's all here and surprisingly realistic when you realize how massive this world really is.The attention to detail is absurd as you never drive past an area that is remotely identical to another.
5-0 out of 5 stars Loved it!
awesome game much better than any other ive played.. though i dont own it i was able to play it at my friends house. He couldnt get me off the game! recommend to anyone!

5-0 out of 5 stars Simply Amazing
If you're looking for a racing game that goes beyond the tracks look no further. Everything from custom paint jobs, sick cars and even a change of clothes for your character, TDU features them all. With miles and miles of roadway, you can choose to do missions, race or simply cruise around and interact with other users through Xbox Live. You can even join/create a "club" for you and your friends to be apart of. I can honestly say this is the only racing game that doesn't wear out it's welcome. Always something new to discover. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars It Couldn't be Better....For the First Game....
I LOVE this game! The storyline is wonderful!I guess if you feel bored with the campaign, just go looking for easter eggs! But what I LOVE is playing multiplayer! And someone did bash the multiplayer, but there are TONS of rooms that will kick you out for cussing and/or killing your teammates! I've had this game for years, and I never get tired of playing online!Actually...it's kind of addicting...

5-0 out of 5 stars Halo is an ausome game no matter what the other reviews say!
Halo combat evolved is one of the best games I have played. I haven't played multiplayer yet. This game has good graphics and a great storyline. You start out on the human ship the pillar of autumn. The covenent (sorry if i spelled this wrong) ship has cought up with the pillar of autumn and has boarded it. The covenent are aliens fighting to destroy the human race. Your only choice is to take cortana the main information program and try to escape the damaged pillar of autumn. You escape onto a giant ring floating in space. The outside of the ring is metal. But the inside is a world much like earth. The covenent believe Halo(the ring) is a weapon. The covenent do not know how to use Halo yet. You find Halo's main control system and find out what Halo really is. It is a prison for the flood. The human flood are truly gross creatures and I will not go into full detail about their "habits". Halo is not only a prison to keep the flood from escaping and spreading across the universe but it is also a place to study the human flood. This is only a few parts of the game. Don't ask me how I went from building to building without getting lost. All of the buildings look the same on the inside so watch out! I love the machines you get to ride in. My favorites are the ghosts. I highly recommend this game to any gamer anywhere.

5-0 out of 5 stars Highly reccomended way to become socially reclusive!
Love this game. Great story line. Just make sure your computer can handle it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This is an Awesome game...should be played by WAYYY more people
"I've played Half-Life 2," and "Battlefield 2," and this is more enjoyable for what it is...
1-0 out of 5 stars It is a tedious game that made me sick
Tediously long and weary. Nothing interesting, just a lot of borrowed ideas from RTCW, HL2, etc. I am sick of this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great, Great Game
I'm not a huge FPS fan but every once in a while I need to fulfill my animalistic urges to blow something up and lay waste to others.FarCry is a beautiful game topped only by its playability. The AI is "smart" and will sneak around and flank, call for backup, sound alarms, etc... instead of just barrleing straight at you.A couple of times I've made the mistake of focusing on one guy or area and had another enemy pop up right in my face from the side.

3-0 out of 5 stars 75 out of a 100 Due to mechanicle and AI flaws.
To begin with, this game has some excellent potential which the right patches could easily fix. The first is the AI, both friendly and hostile. First off the AI is much too hard on easy settings. For instance, even on Medium, it is quite possible to get swarmed by the AI five minutes into the game. Seriously, as the Goblins for instance, by the time I got a single Cave, and Mine up and running, with two groups built, I find myself fighting off six to seven groups of enemies, who are followed by back up.
4-0 out of 5 stars crazy sweet game
This game rocks! It's got some major pros but it also has a small amount of cons. I'm a big fan of RTS games, like the age of empires series. This game has all the awsome traits of most great RTS games, but it adds a whole other level of gameplay from the lord of the rings additions. It has all the major factions, men, elves, dwarves, mordor, isengard, and the goblins. The men are basically rohan and gondor combined. i havent played as them other than the tutoriul so i dont know a lot about them. the elves rock out loud as archers (plus they have ents) and they have fair swordsman. the dwarves are definitly close range and seige, they dont even have calvary.
4-0 out of 5 stars pretty good game really
the bad. the races are so unmatched!the dwarfs have these catupults that kill all, the goblins can climb over walls(elimanating the point of having them)and the ura kai kill anything in there path (with the exception of horseman) and if the battle is even (1 v 1) the one with the better race wins with the exceptions of castles.now it is pretty fair in the natoriusly short campaine.but in skirmish mode its only fair if its plains and your the same race, or if the weak race starts in a castle.the good.the game is very realistic such as if horse man go up against pikeman head on there doomed but if they go to the side before the pikeman can turn, the pikeman are as good as gone

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the other FF collections to have
This collection isn't as bonus feature happy as Anthology was. this version of FF4 (2 in the USA at the time of the SNES/Genesis era) hasn't changed that much. the random battle loading screen is like the SNES version, the switch between field/world map to the character menu while loading is fast as hell (while sadly Chrono Trigger is slower than the 2 FF games for the Anthology collection and even slower than the other Final Fantasy games for the PSone Era (7,8,9)) Chrono Trigger has a lot of bonus features for this version. Squaresoft (at the time) put a S*** load of cinemas (mainly ending cinemas), has a list of music from the game, and other stuff. The gameplay is still the same, with the exception of what I said earlier, which is good otherwise. unlike Anthology, this collection has no bonus music CD (for those who care anyway). this is still worth owning anyway.

5-0 out of 5 stars Final Fantasy Chronicles
This is one of the best games I have ever played. Anyone who is sceptical just needs to pick a controller and go. You won't be dissappointed.

3-0 out of 5 stars Excellent package, but serious flaws in code
Both Final Fantasy IV and Chrono Trigger are excellent games (CT could be my favorite game of all time).Final Fantasy IV has been excellently restored to its original "hardtype" version.Story elements and dialog have been restored, which is extremely exciting.

Well to start off you get introduced at the beginning of the story where he gives you a pokemon, which you get to choose who you want to start the game with, if you want to have a real challenge on some of the gym leaders especially winoa, the bird pokemon master you should choose treeko, which eventually evolves into grovile and the several levels later it evolves into sceptile, now if you want to beat the elite four with ease and pretty well all trainers and gym leaders, pick treeko and or mudkip, and the cool part is you get to face the infamous team magma, who their leader, archie, when you get to the cave of origin, once you beat all gym leaders (including sootopolis and mossdeep) archie awakens groudon which causes the worst drought and you go to the cave of origin, use your master ball and it will flawlessly catch the legendary GROUDON, which is pictured onthe front of the box and he starts out at lvl 45. but then when you beat the elite four in evergrande city you can acsses sky pillar which is one heck of a maze, and when you get to the top, you face THE ULTIMATE RYQUAZA Dun dun tshoe

5-0 out of 5 stars Golden game
It was AWSOME!!! My cousin has a copy. I had never played a pokemon game before. It was the best! As soon I got home I went to buy a copy but I didn't have enough money! I begged my sister to loan me some. She said okay, but when I got to the store she had changed her mind! So my mom gave me the money

4-0 out of 5 stars An Immense Improvement
The promising thing about this series is that each installment is significantly better than the last. Not only that, but the Soul Calibur franchise has made a big influence on other contemporary fighting-genre games. For one, Namco's choice of deciding to produce SCIII on PlayStation 2 alone (instead of having to design it similiarly for Xbox and Gamecube) allowed them to fully make use of the PS2's capabilities. The first obvious change is the graphics; Soul Calibur II's graphics almost look childish in comparison to the more detailed and realistic style of SCIII. As in most fighting games, the main Story mode allows you to choose a character and fight various battles until you come to the final boss. However, the difference with this game is that (before each fight) you are given a synopsis of your character's journey thus far and why you have to fight your next opponent. This is a big change from a lot of fighting games, where you usually just take on one opponent after another, with no real explanation as to why you'd even be fighting them in the first place. Not only is the storyline aspect heightened, but you are also given different paths to take after battles; your choices will affect who you'll have to fight next. There are 25+ characters to choose from and each one has their own unique story.
5-0 out of 5 stars this game rocks
this game is just loads of fun espcially in a tournament scenario with a bunch of friends, and has a great single player mode overall a really fun game

4-0 out of 5 stars Not just kicks
When I first saw this game, I thought it was the same thing as Tekken and Mortal Combat. It does have this mode (versus mode) but it also has other things as well. My two boys enjoy the fact that they can create and arm characters. You choose what type of character you want to create, be it a male or female character, and then add all the attire (armor, helmets, weapons, etc.) You can even choose the voice, the hair color and the eye colors for the character, and the colors of their attire, which my sons have found fun to do. Aside from that, there is a mode where you have different quests, and they can send their newly created character on that quest, to conquer the enemy strongholds. For a teenage audience, who like the "fights" games, this I have found to be more interesting than others I've seen. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars OH MY GOD!
I played this game for two minutes. The first thing I wanted to do was to sign on to amazon.com and write a positive note about it.It is AMAZING!It installed easily. You only need the CD to start the game.Apparently there is a patch that you can download that allows for starting the game without a CD, but who cares?
5-0 out of 5 stars an AMAZING chess tool, especially for chess newbies.
I have always enjoyed playing chess, although I have never been very good at it. Pretty much I knew how the pieces move as well as some very simple strategies such as forks, and simple traps (which were often avoided). Recently i've been getting back into it but this time I wanted to actually become good at chess. I couldn't decide if I wanted this one, Fritz or Chessmaster 9000 (slightly cheaper). Well, I am very happy with this purchase. I decided on this one because it has even more training material, which was my main goal.
4-0 out of 5 stars Have to be a chess fan
This is a very cool game for those of us who play chess regularly and just want some pointers on how to become better. I dont think this would help chess masters get better, but like I said it is great for someone who knows chess and wants some advice on how to become better. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars super mario 4
very fast and informative, this was one of my favorites when it was on the old original nintendo now I can enjoy it again on game boy advance

5-0 out of 5 stars A very challenging game
This game for me was easy on the first levels but got harder as i went along. i think that it is a great{one of the best i ever played}because it takes you a while to get passed the whole thing, you just can't get by this game in 30 minutes.
5-0 out of 5 stars Best game ever!
This game is truly the best mario game ever. Super mario bros. 3 was great and now a remake that is even better! The E-reader compatibility is cool, but it sucks how america didn't get all the cards such as floaty jump Luigi, boomarang, and difficult enemies. I took a point off fun for some parts being too frustrating. The graphics aren't that good, but I don't care because if I did I would buy the [...]box360 (Xbox [...]).

5-0 out of 5 stars get it while its fresh!
well...This goes out to the previous reviewer...first off.there are numerous new animations..i mean..kobe shoots like..well kobe.....Big Z actually dont jump on his jump shot and numerous other stars have there own jump shot animation..something kinda tight..as for upgrades..well the roster is updated and the A.I. is much smarter..how is that not an update?..plus now you have full control on how your team plays; you now have that option to change in the option menu..and the post game is much better..more realistic..and the shot stick..WOW..perfection...and if you care about jersey numbers..its updated too...so Artest has number 93 and Kobe has 24...(a plus since in any of the 2k series you are not allowed to change numbers)..so dont listen to those fools who say buy 2k6 or switch to live 07...they have no idea about how a true simulation should be...but dont get me wrong Live is also a very good game but not as real in the simulation department like 2k7..so go buy this game....why pay 20 bucks for an old game such as 2k6, when you could add 10 more dollars to it and buy 2k7? why would you do that?..no disrespect to the previous reviewers but people need to think a little bit...

5-0 out of 5 stars NBA2K7 is BETTER than NBA Live 07
This game is HOT!!!!I have never played the NBA2K versions before so playing this game has brought a lot of excitement to playing a basketball game. The game seems so realistic it is scary. The players play and move the way that they do in the real game. The graphics are fantastic and gameplay is a lot of fun.I bought NBA Live 07 and I wish I didn't.I could have saved a few dollars by just buying NBA2K7.In my opinion, it is the best basketball game out there.

1-0 out of 5 stars unfortunately it's a stripped down version
they took out 24/7 mode!!! Now it's only available in the 360 version(which is twice the cost) I'm getting 2K6 instead. Save yourself some money & do the same. ... Read more
