5-0 out of 5 stars Smash Hit for Nintendo
As one of the first games released for the GCN, SSBM is also one of the most amazing. Like its predecessor, it manages to deftly weave together exciting gameplay , nostalgic humour, and yes, replay value, to form a massively underrated sequel to one of the best games. Ever.
5-0 out of 5 stars ALL Gamecube owners should have this game!
This is hands down the best fighting game of all time. Anyone over 7 should be allowed to own this game, even though the rating is T. No blood, the characters don't die (Instead of falling on spikes when you lose, you just appear clapping for the winner). And instead of just kicking and punching, you can fire blasts of energy, throw bombs, hit people with bats, or use lightsabers. Even my anti Nintendo friends love this game. The best character is Samus.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Fun on Muilty Player Mode!
Play as a number of different Nintendo characters such as Mario, Yoshi, and Link in a wide variety of places. Collect money to win trophies in a ''lottery''. The graphics are beautiful. The game is entertainig enough on one player, but twice as much fun on muilty player mode!

4-0 out of 5 stars JUST Cause is... JUST okay.
Suspension of disbelief is such a fundamental part of the video game experience that we often take it for granted. Multiple lives and first-aid kits that instantly mend whatever ails you are conventions that we accept without batting an eye, even in games that purport to have realistic settings. That said, Just Cause is a visceral third-person action game with some outrageous action that will require an extra helping of that suspension of disbelief to be able to enjoy. But, if you can get past the infeasibility of a man hanging onto the tail of a flying jet with one hand, you might find a lot to like in Just Cause.
2-0 out of 5 stars I Only Played the Demo
so maybe take this with a grain of salt, but I didn't really care for Just Cause. It seemed too much like Mercenaries to me, with the difficulty turned way way down, and also it seemed kind of pointless. I started playing and had no idea where i was or what i was supposed to be doing, and just by randomly shooting people I managed to complete 2 of 4 objectives in about 10 minutes. Seemed kind of silly
5-0 out of 5 stars This game is FAWESOME
Though I would have to say that the game is a little too easy, this game is truly fawesome.I have only played for about 10 hours, and already I'm addicted.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow!
I had this controller for almost 3 years and i have only had to change thge batteries once, and i play it a lot, it works completely great, i would recommend this to anybody with a gamecube.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent, High-Quality, no lagging!
The bottom of the controller sticks out quite a bit, but this does not affect gameplay and other than that it is the same size as the regular gamecube controller. Simply fantastic (unless you're one of those people that just NEED to have rumble for some reason).
5-0 out of 5 stars The future for Video games has come... and it is called, "Wavebird"
This thing is awesome! It's cooler then the regular gray wavebird, and it'sa WHOLE lot cooler then the regular wired controller. 5-0 out of 5 stars Slapstick comedy and interesting feel
Lego Star Wars received a skeptical look by me when it first came out.Of course, as a kid in America I played with Legos all the time.In 1985 I started playing video games as a kid and soon replaced those little Legos. Now in 2006, I find myself playing with both again. What a blast.
4-0 out of 5 stars Lego's does it again

5-0 out of 5 stars A glitch
This is a super awesome game that never stops and has all these fun unlockables. Sadly I had just to more super kits to get(super kits are things you get by collecting all the studs wich help you unlock the bonus level)but they were on really tough levels so I entered the cheat to get invivceablity and then it cut and said there was an error. so went back to the saved game and everthing had been erased from studs to charecters! anyway i have no clue what happened. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game
I know you see lego in the title and you think that this game is not for adults.I have seen previous reviews for this game and everyone gave this atleast 4 1/2 stars so I told me wife that we should get this for our son.Little did she know that I wanted to play this also.We just bought the game and I have been playing it for the last three hours while my son is in bed sleeping. It is a great game and I love how many unlockable characters there are. When my son is awake and ready to play he can understand the button secquence very easily. This is a great game and suggest it for people of all ages.

Perfect. The case locks in the UMD's as if they were in thier original UMD case.Perfect size, plus you get a case for memory sticks.Buy this... buy 2!

5-0 out of 5 stars The best case I've found.
It's simple: I searched high and low for a UMD case. This one is excellent in terms of utility and durability. You can't beat the number of items it holds. My kids asked for more. I have no idea what another reviewer means by "texture."

4-0 out of 5 stars Good quality, no-frills case.
I'd been storing my PSP games in an Altoids tin (yes, they really do fit nicely) but then I'd gotten more games than would fit in a single tin and I didn't want to risk the tin opening up and damaging my games. Unfortunately most of the UMD cases out there are soft cases; the few hard cases only hold three or four discs.

1-0 out of 5 stars Nice for the kids
I bought this shortly after it was released at a Target store--paid about $15 for it.I really like the castle collections, as I, too, was bored with the clouds and other dull collections. While you can produce a really neat collection for the castle, it's really hard to make a more adult themed room.I am in agreeance that it would have been better to have it as a downloadable expansion from their site. I am a die-hard Sims fan as well and I have even pre-ordered the Pets from EA.So far, this is the only expansion that I haven't been head-over-heals for.I am anxiously awaiting the release of the pets.

1-0 out of 5 stars Sorry, Sims fans, it's a complete waste!!
Quite simply, I have bought EVERY SINGLE Sims game (including game console versions and handheld versions)and I have never been disappointed, until now.I'm such a Sims fan that I can honestly say that I've never been disappointed before this purchase.I can tell you that this "add-on" is nothing more than re-painted versions of already existing furniture that you have. The last time I checked, you can go on several websites and download many, many things just like this, for free (not to mention, do it yourself).Do NOT waste your money.Me?I'm waiting for the pets, hopefully that won't be such a let-down.

2-0 out of 5 stars Save your money - This Stuff Pack is SHAMEFUL!
I bought this right after I bought Open for Business thinking that it would be a great compliment to my game. Boy was I ever wrong! There is a good reason why Maxis didn't give more previews of what would be in this stuff pack - it is a couple of low-poly, hideous objects, outfits, and recolors. I have spent more time on research papers than Maxis/EA did on this stuff pack. Would it kill them to make some quality hairstyles or even some new linens for the beds? If you want high quality downloads for your game, save your $20 and use it as a payment for a paysite or even go to a free site. The custom content offered on fan sites puts Maxis/EA to shame. Never again will I buy one of these stuff packs - it is basically stuff that is left out of expansion packs so that Maxis/EA can squeeze more money out of Sims 2 fans. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Very boring, quite playing after 2 days
I am a huge fan of the RPG genre and have played just about every one for the PC.Morrowind is the most boring one I have ever played.I turned it off after two evenings of SLOWLY walking around, having stupid repetitive conversations with NPCs, and lamely fighting rats. The interface is terrible. You are very limited in what you can carry, so after you kill a monster you can't even carry your treasure back to town. This "game" was all work with no fun.Do not buy!

5-0 out of 5 stars Morrowind is fun and well worth the money
I purchased a copy of the Game of the Year Edition at the end of May, 2006.It is now almost September.I have been playing Morrowind for three months most week day evenings for about 4 hours and most weekends for about 12 hours.

3-0 out of 5 stars Outrageous system requirements

3-0 out of 5 stars Hold Out with Civ3 Complete Instead
In late 2002, I took a second job at a major electronics retailer and decided to use my employee discount on what looked like a cool game: Civilization III.That game changed my life... in the gaming sense. It was everything I ever thought a computer game should be: turn-based strategy with multiple avenues to test my ego and self-promoted genius.Above all features of Civ3, however, my most favorite was the customization of the game through the map editor and the wonderful online resources of the Civ community.(I've downloaded more Civ3 files than MP3s.)This allowed me to express my self-proclaimed genius with new rules, technologies, and units (and all the accompanying chronologies and requisites) at my discretion.Nothing could get any better, I had thought.

4-0 out of 5 stars pretty good
i thought this game was pretty good, and the fights wer good. the only thing i don't like about this game, is because it's to short! that is all

2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointing to this fan of the original
Last year I bought a GameBoy Advance SP (GBA) and Lego Star Wars (LSW) for the GBA based on the strength of the original LSW after playing a friend's kid's copy for just a few minutes. The game was that good, that intriguing and that interesting, that after just a few minutes of play I, a 36 year old man, wanted to buy a GBA.I hadn't played any computer games for 5+ years and this game pulled me back in.
2-0 out of 5 stars No comparison.
This isn't the worst video game I've ever played, although I am extremely disappointed with it.Lego Star Wars II is a far cry from its predecessor. The levels are not as challenging (or perhaps not challenging at all) and some of them are strangely brief. It is very difficult (awkward) to control vehicles when they are featured. Gameplay otherwise is very similar; however, the "blaster" weapons are more effective (this game's only improvement over LSW I).There are LOTS of "free-play" options in this game, and that's ironic, since the levels don't have any of the re-play value those in LSW I did. Some of the most frustrating aspects of this edition are the level intros...in the last edition, they were either brief or could be easily skipped. Not so, this time! The intro to one of the Endor battles goes on for two minutes or more, and is filled with confusing "word balloons."I would recommend renting or playing a demo of this title before you buy it.If you buy it based on the strength of LSW I, like me, you will probably end up being disappointed. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Fun and... FREE (no monthly cost that is :P)
Last year's game that combined most of the best aspects of online role-playing (without any monthly fees attached), action role-playing games, and competitive gaming in general is back in a similarly huge and interestingly complex follow-up. While Guild Wars Factions is inherently similar to its predecessor, and saddled with some of the same relatively minor shortcomings, it still delivers a deep, addictive, and satisfying experience on many levels. The game is ultimately best suited for social, competitive players (like fans of the original), but it effectively weaves together solo, cooperative, and competitive content in a way that's undeniably impressive.
4-0 out of 5 stars Factions is great -- and a good replacement for WoW
Here's the thing. I enjoy a game I can play solo--with occasional (emphasis on OCCASIONAL!) group questing and activities.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent game!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game True to the Orriginal
DOn't believe all the bad reviews as this is a great game. This game has great story and it expands on the Prison books in the first game. Tothose who said it changed that it didn't as it was never expalined nor confirmed that they died and that is explained in the opening montage. The story is excellent and intriguing and the puzzels are hard but most of the puzzles are in the myst games. This is a great game and as to it not running, it won't run on DVD-RW drives only, and the only problem I had was to upgrade my graphics card and it wotks fine. It even works on my Dell XPS laptop. If all you have is a computer with minimum graphics and only a DVD-RW you can't run it. Otherwise it will run great.

1-0 out of 5 stars Monkey puzzle -Are you kidding?!
I loved the first MYST game. When I received MYST IV as a gift,I was brimming with anticipation. Initially, after nearly arriving to meet Atrus, something went horribly wrong with the graphics. After a while,I was able to do something (disabling something,I think)to get the graphics back. It was worth it because the worlds were beautifully done, especially Serenia. It was gorgeous and intriguing. As spectacular as the graphics were,a couple of the puzzles were annoying or arbitrary, but difficult.I normaly enjoy puzzle games;they're actually the only type I usually play. With MYST IV,I found that I had to consult the official game guide(also a gift)twice. I don't like having to resort to that,it can spoil a game. I did like the fact that there was some interaction with the characters and some of the interesting features of the game(SPOILER;the linking books;END SPOILER,the camera,etc...). Then, just as I was starting to enjoy the game I came across something that had no place whatsoever in a puzzle solving game-requirement of impossibly quick mouse movements! I'm talking about(SPOILER)that absolutely impossible Monkey puzzle. Once you figured out the sequence,it was NOT humanly possible to do it in the alloted time! (END SPOILER)I really don't know how anybody managed it. I admit that I may not be the quickest with the mouse, which is why I don't play games which require uber speed. But,the MYST games are puzzle games which should not require that. It was like finding a polar bear in the Bahamas. Suffice it to say,I could not get past the monkey puzzle. Was there a patch for that or something? If not, there should have been. I obviously can't comment on the remainder of the game, since I didn't get to finish it. It really annoys me. It's tantamount to being given half a book. Well, unless UBISOFT has done something to alleviate that problem(since Spring 2005);I wouldn't recommend this game unless you're VERY quick with a mouse. It's a shame, because I think that this would have been a good game. HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE MONKEY PUZZLE,I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS GAME 4 STARS IN BOTH CATEGORIES.

5-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Gorgeous!!!
I turned my 6 year old son to the first Myst game and so him and I finished Myst, Riven, Exile on the Playstation.I'm NOT a big PC gamer fan for one reason:They require you to upgrade your machine just to play the game. This is the reason why I feel platform games are much better. When you purchase a game you know it's going to play on the PS2, XBox, whatever.PC games are not so forgiving!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Good Story, Fun Game, but Buggy!
I enjoyed playing this game, when it would let me...the amount of bugs in this game is downright outrageous, crashes left and right. It was a good story though.I suppose I could give you a few tips...
1-0 out of 5 stars Very buggy and incomplete
Pointless quests with no real conclusions. CTD every 30-45 minutes. Lengthy dialoge with no real human attachment. All in all a VERY unpolished product, even with the patch. If your favorite aspect of the first game was the story then do not buy this game.

2-0 out of 5 stars EEEKS...Point and Click.....Yawn!!!!
Such great visuals and I love most of the Star Wars RPG/Shooters, BUT, I cant believe this is a point and click game.I was hoping KOTOR2 would have implimented a normal battle engagement.Theres nothing worse than toggling thru menus etc during an intense battle and actually having to turn around, click the target, then engage someone else after the kill. The days of Boulder's Gate point-n-click should be over, but I guess theres a crowd for this type of gameplay.Still a good game, but dissapointed. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful, wonderful game for a very low price
Dragon Warrior VIII for the PS2 is a wonderful game. It's Japanese, so it's done in a cutesy anime style, which might put some people off.(Personally, I found it a refreshing change.)
5-0 out of 5 stars Must-play if you enjoy rpgs
I love this game, most of all, for its charm. The characters are so well-animated and cute, when not laugh-out-loud funny. The voice acting is absolutely perfect, the dialogue is engaging.
5-0 out of 5 stars Hours of fun
This game took quite a long time to beat, and you really get your moneys worth. A rare quality in many video games these days. ... Read more
