4-0 out of 5 stars A fun game...with some glaring oversights for the Star Wars faithful
All of the reviewers got this one right. This is a very fun game with some good graphics and improved action over the first.I would be remissed if I did not bring up a few issues.Bear with me as these are coming from a Star Wars fanatic.
5-0 out of 5 stars Cool Game!!!!
I just got this game today and all I could say was WOW!The graphics are phenomenal and the color is out of this world. The level 2 was somewhat hard but I was able to make it through it (since I am considered a pro!)Star Wars was so impressed with my playing ability, they have asked me to review all of their games so be on the watchout for some harder games to come!I have purchased every single game and am looking for a player who can beat me, although I doubt it will happen.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for all kids - all of us that never grew up
The original Lego Star Wars was a great little lighthearted romp of a game: an amusing way to play out the three most recent Star Wars films in virtual form. The Lego and Star Wars combo proved to also be a terrific formula for the game space, generating an experience in Lego Star Wars that was oftentimes even more entertaining than the source material it was based on. Like any good sequel, Lego Star Wars II improves on the original in almost every way. But most importantly, it's about the good episodes now. For that reason alone, Lego Star Wars II is one of the most enjoyable games of this fall. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Smash Hit for Nintendo
As one of the first games released for the GCN, SSBM is also one of the most amazing. Like its predecessor, it manages to deftly weave together exciting gameplay , nostalgic humour, and yes, replay value, to form a massively underrated sequel to one of the best games. Ever.
5-0 out of 5 stars ALL Gamecube owners should have this game!
This is hands down the best fighting game of all time. Anyone over 7 should be allowed to own this game, even though the rating is T. No blood, the characters don't die (Instead of falling on spikes when you lose, you just appear clapping for the winner). And instead of just kicking and punching, you can fire blasts of energy, throw bombs, hit people with bats, or use lightsabers. Even my anti Nintendo friends love this game. The best character is Samus.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Fun on Muilty Player Mode!
Play as a number of different Nintendo characters such as Mario, Yoshi, and Link in a wide variety of places. Collect money to win trophies in a ''lottery''. The graphics are beautiful. The game is entertainig enough on one player, but twice as much fun on muilty player mode!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game
I have found that every Zelda game is great, ive had this game for awile and i just beat it! this game packes loads of fun in just one tiny disk. The fact that you dont have to do the missions and you can just sail around and go treasure hunting and get maps and visit islands that youve never been to before is great.
4-0 out of 5 stars Solid
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker tells the story of a boy who is growing up on Outset Island. It turns out that today is your birthday. You learn about the legend of the "hero of time", which was Link from The Ocarina of Time, and how he saved the world. It is customary for boys who reach the age of the Link to wear green clothing on their birthday. After a short amount of time, a huge bird shows up carrying a young pirate girl it apparently kidnapped. After saving the girl, the massive bird grabs your sister and flies away. So you have to set off to try to get your sister back.
2-0 out of 5 stars Tedious and overrated
Think back the fall of 1999 when "The Blair Witch Project" was released. The elitist movie critics were in a full-fledged campaign to convince the public and themselves that the movie was the best thing since "Citizen Kane".Back in 1999 so much praise was showered on the film that the voices of dissent were drowned out and ridiculed. Then a funny thing happened: time passed.Like the rest of the superficial Hollywood crowd, the elitist critics have moved on and this has allowed people to freely rethink the movie. Now it's hard to find anyone who's filling to admit they liked the "Blair Witch Project".Why do I mention that?Because the story's nearly the same when it comes to the near universal praise of Nintendo's "Wind Waker" game.

3-0 out of 5 stars I think its good
Well, I did not play the whole game. But I think it's good. I am in the middle of the game but I think Luigi's Manson is better. In Luigi's Manson, you suck up ghosts, but in this, you use water blaster. Try it and maybe you will like it, but try Luigi's Manson first. Super Mario Sunshine is a fun game to play, But Luigi's Manson is more fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game

However, when he arrives, he is blamed for coating the island in a thick, greasy sludge. Fortuanatly for Mario, he finds a talking machine called FLUDD to help him clean this once gorgous island.
3-0 out of 5 stars Needs some slack...
This game was GREAT the first few times I played it.However, as it progressed, the levels got so ridiculously difficult that I stopped trying to beat them and kept playing the older levels...which got boring really fast.Haven't touched it since, I'm tired of trying to beat it and not getting anywhere. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars A good game, but not Starfox64
One of the main reasons most people will buy this game is expecting a grand successor to the classic Starfox64. Unfortunately this game does not deliver that.
2-0 out of 5 stars Where is the old Starfox we knew?
First off, i would like to say that i really love the old starfox 64, and thats what i'm comparing it to. When i bought Assault, i asusmed Nintendo was trying to go back with the whole arwing/tank theme without the adventuring on foot theme so much. We all thought it would have been cool, but lets face it, its not. This game could have been incredibly better if Nintendo first of all,
4-0 out of 5 stars Great fun
It is a good game in its own right. It adds much more ground based action (on foot or in the landmaster tank) than its direct predecessor Star Fox 64. I would have liked more of the traditional space battles but all aspects of the game are done well especially the space/flight levels but the others are fun as well. I did not find the controls to be an issue as some other reviewers have and for its price (now under $20) its even better. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A highly underrated game
I am surprised at how cheap this game is.It is actually a top-notch game.If you are a shooter or action fan then you must get this game.I've been playing this game for a while now as it has a lot of gameplay. You certainly get your money's worth with the amount of time in entertainment value. The graphics are stunning. This is the best Metroid yet.If you have a GameCube, you must play this game or you're missing out!

4-0 out of 5 stars Sequal makes up for original.
This new metroid game deinetly makes up for its orginal. Your not just shooting animals and getting armor, your actually on a mission! This game isn't half bad. (p.s. The multiplayer is awsome!)
5-0 out of 5 stars Great Next Part of the Series
The first time I tried to play this game, I absolutely hated it - I had just beaten Prime 1 on normal mode and wanted to jump right into this game. The game is much more challenging than Prime I, so I got extremely frustrated with it.I gave up on it for a while and didn't think I'd ever come back to it.Recently, though, I played through Prime 1 again on normal mode, then again on hard mode, and then went to Echoes.THAT time, Echoes was absolutely amazing. If you found Echoes too difficult, I strongly recommmend playing through Prime 1 on hard mode and then trying to tackle this game. Now, hard mode on Echoes is very difficult, but worth it.Once I adjusted to the difficulty, I found this game very entertaining - it's longer than Prime, but it's a great continuation of the storyline. Now I'm ecstatic for Corruption on Wii to see how the series ends.If you enjoyed Prime, you'll love Echoes, so long as you can adjust to the difficulty. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Resident Evil at it's fullest
Once again, a great add-on to the RE series, but to those hardcore fans who LOVE zombies, there are none. The story follows Leon Scott Kennedy (Resident Evil 2) sent on a rescue mission to a location in Europe. While asking someone is he'd lately seen Ashley, he attacks Leon with an axe. This is where it begins. The gameplay and graphics are excellent, and it features a new "Aim and Shoot" technique in which the player can aim using a laser sight rather than wasting ammo on accident. While the replay value is great, you also have cutscenes that require you to do action command sequences to survive or kill. Parents shouldn't worry on this one, but I would recommend that you guys don't expect happy sunshine smiles land. The game is a bit gory and shouldn't be looked up to. Kids/Adults will get a few laughs likely out of this one. Horror and Puzzles at their best!

5-0 out of 5 stars My 'ALL TIME' favorite game!
This game alone is worth purchasing a Gamecube for! With all the extra weapons you can purchase and upgrade, it gives this game excellent replay value.I lost count of the number of hours I played and replayed this game.
4-0 out of 5 stars Resident Evil is back in a new way, shape, and form.
Resident Evil 4 for the almighty Gamecube follows Leon Kennedy, one of the heroes from Resident Evil 2, as he finds himself in some sort of Spanish farm village to find the President of the United States' kidnapped daughter Ashley. Little does he realize that he is stepping right into another nightmare, one that may just surpass that of the Raccoon City incident. On his adventure he will encounter unlikley and yet familiar faces, crazed religious men, and many more..

5-0 out of 5 stars This. Game. Rocks.
This is singlehandedly the best game I have ever played. Play this game only if you have plenty free time (it can take 30-48 hours). The plot is exelent with plenty of twists and turns. Also, the characters are customizable, with plenty of different attacks. The battle system is great. I highly reccomend!

2-0 out of 5 stars How about a review from someone who's not a fanboy?
There was a time when I loved rpgs. Starting with Final Fantasy III for SNES as my main introduction to the genre, I began to go through each release after that like a drug addict. Games that had actual plots other than "do this and you win", leveling up characters how you want, hidden areas with special items or weapons, alternate endings for some, and more, I really loved the genre. Then, Final Fantasy 7 came out, and began what continues to be the popular standard for the genre- typical cliché, predictable sub-par rpgs. Once FF7 came out, rpgs were released like they were nothing. Do I have to mention Legend of Mana? How about Silver? Or what about Sudeki? Squaresoft has really lost it in recent years, and I began to lose interest in rpgs. When I got my GameCube, I knew that Nintendo was pretty much screwed when it came to the genre as well, having what, 3-4? Tales of Symphonia though, was regarded as -the- rpg to play if you had the system. So I bought it without much hesitation, and gave it a shot. Then, I lost interest after a few hours, left it for dead, then gave it another shot some months later. Repeat that process until earlier this year, when I just plain quit caring about it in general and sold it. ToS continues the trend of easily predictable rpgs with no redeeming qualities what so ever, aside from the novelty of having a fun combat system. Yeah, it's great not having turn-based fights for a change, but do you really want to just focus on combat in what's otherwise a genre that's supposed to focus on story and character development? Namco and Nintendo sure wanted you to think so, as ToS sprouted countless fanboys that can't seem to look past the combat and character designs. I'm happy to let you know that this review will contain no bias that typical rpg-fanboys give. 5-0 out of 5 stars ToS Shall Expel You Of Your Flaws!
This is the game that will make you regret not buying a GameCube (Unless you live in Japan where there is also a PS2 version.) This game has a deep storyline, but isn't afraid to inject moments of side-splitting humor. It starts out rather slow (Chosen one Collette goes out to ressurect the world with the help of friends Lloyd(the main character) and Genis, and the mysterious swordsman Kratos. But, about a third of the way into the story, the plot thickens with betrayal, a second world, and a much more involved plan on the part of the antagonists.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great All ages Fun for Lots of Players
If you're looking for multiplayer fun for your GameCube, the Mario Party series is a sure winner. Between the board game and minigames, there's something for everyone!
1-0 out of 5 stars Nintendo should produce more super smash bros.' and mario karts!
All Mario Parties are stupid, not just this one! What I don't like about this game is that 90% of it is pure luck. This is okay on regular board games, but not on gamecube ones.I've also never encountered a game that makes me sooo mad (so mad that I considered breaking the disc more than once)!I think this is because there is no way to disperse your anger. For example, if another player hurts you bad, you can't walk up to them and smack them in the face. You have to wait for the too simple minigames. The orbs are cheap; some take you directly to the star. The computer puts the star in front of one player the whole time. The list of cons is endless.I would never reccomend this game. For multiplayer fun on the gamecube, try Super Smash Bros. Melee, Mario kart double dash, or soulcalibur.

5-0 out of 5 stars fun fun fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is too awesome!!!!!! Thesolo mode was dissapointing but the 8-player action is awesome! from neon hieghts to pyramid park every board is different! with two new characters and over 80- different minigames, it's awesome! i love it cause sometimes you rely on skill or luck. and don't even get me started on- 8 player mode. it's specially designed for up to 8 people to have- a mario party bash, they even have special made games for 8 people to play at one time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and if you don't like that, then head over to the duty free shop to buy cool gid- gads and souveniers. and in minigame mode you can do fun minigame packed things like declathon castle. just go out and buy this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Cute and Clever Little Game
Luigi is delighted to discover he has won a mansion, but is not so enthused to find out it is overrun with ghosts who have trapped Mario inside. But the nutty Professor E.Gadd has created a machine for capturing these creatures, which he calls the Poltergust 3000. With the aid of the Poltergust, Luigi sets off in search of his brother.
4-0 out of 5 stars Luigi's Turn
It is great that Nintendo GameCube made a Luigi game, Mario has been kidnapped and Luigi has to save him. But the game lacks Mario characters.. (Peach, Toadsworth, Yoshi's ect)

5-0 out of 5 stars Kid and Parent like this war game
Battalion Wars is a game you won't regret buying. It is the best game I ever played! I like it better than Star Wars Battlefront II because it's more challenging and you can do more things. My parents like Battalion Wars because it's less violent than Star Wars BF II. It's more strategy, not just shot and kill. The game takes you through all sorts of missions across the Tundra, Xlyvaniania, and the Dune Sea. You are a commander commanding the Western Frontier against the Tundra. The missions won't just take you five minutes, they are really challenging. Your army has all kinds of tanks, recons, and other vehicles. You have rifles, flamethrowers, and even bazookas. It even has amazing graphics. All in all, you do not want miss this GREAT game!

4-0 out of 5 stars Kid Friendly Combat
In Battalion Wars, you're cartoon army characters in an imaginary world, taking on suspiciously Soviet sounding enemeies. It's a fighting game for kids.
5-0 out of 5 stars The Greateset shooter game fo Gamecube ever
This is probably the best game for kids who want to play war games. The graphics are phenomenal and almost never get blurry.

1-0 out of 5 stars Watch Pikachu Watch TV!
Do you love Pokemon, but wish that Nintendo would drop all of that RPG crap with the Water beats Fire and the going from town to town? Well your in luck! Those generous fokes at Nintendo have made a sequal to their title "hey You Pikachu", and it's even MORE boring this time around.
5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome

My nephew was really looking forward to getting the game for his ninth birthday. He played it for an hour or so and had a lot of fun with it before the game locked up and had to be reset so he could continue.
5-0 out of 5 stars They were very excited when the saw the game
I bougth this for kids of 4-5-6-7 and it is one of my best choice because my children love it and their friends comes every day to play the game.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great, Fun Game For Anyone
This is a great game; in a way, it's kinda like "Cars 2", because the game from what I can tell takes place after what happened in the original film.

5-0 out of 5 stars this is the greatest game you could ever play
I bought this game 2 years ago and i still havent put it down yet. it lacks level replay, but playing through the game a second or third time is always funner than the last. i hear you ask why it is such a good game. ill tell you why.
5-0 out of 5 stars A Masterpiece
Metroid Prime begins with bounty hunter Samus Aran arriving at an enemy spaceship. What follows is the best game I have ever seen.
5-0 out of 5 stars Best game on Gamecube, hands down.
Metroid Prime is easily the best game on the GameCube. In fact, it makes Halo look like a complete joke. When everyone heard Metroid was going to be in the first person, people freaked out.Admittadly so, it just didnt seem right for a Metroid game to be a First Person Shooter. Then, Nintendo decided to let an unknown studio by the name of Retro Studios develop the game.People freaked out even more. But amazingly, the game turned out awsome. This is unlike any first person shooter you have ever played. Its actually a lot about exploration and puzzle solving than it is stright up shooting. One thing that has been a problem for most FPS games that Prime pulls off amazingly well is platforming. Before Metroid Prime, platforming in a FPS was usually akward, difficult, and frustrating. But somehow it works in Prime, you can easly jump from platform to platform, over gaps and up stairs, without ever missing your target or feeling frustrated.Metroid Prime is also just difficult enough to the point where it is never frustrating, but always a good challenge. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Improving upon Greatness
Pikmin 2 picks up after Pikmin 1. Olimar is returning with his friend to collect valuable "treasures" which happen to be everyday objects, but since they are only a few inches tall, everything is large. This game uses the old Red (fire resistant), Yellow (electric resistant), and Blue (water resistant) Pikmin adding white (poison resistant and treasure detector) and Purple (worth 10 regular Pikmin). It also enhances the classic play with two player challenges much like the original game where players work together to reach the end of a level within a specific time, while collecting the most treasure.
4-0 out of 5 stars pretty good
This game is the best Pikmin game ever!!!!!!!! But, the oly things that are bad about it are the pikmin don't stop talking ad it gets really anoing. secondly the new pikmin that htey add
