5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best games of the year
Anyone can pick up this game and play - it is so simple and addicting. Some people might be turned off by the fact that it is so easy, but that's what makes the game so great for me and other casual gamers. Even if you're not a huge Star Wars fan, this game is still a lot of fun. I even enjoyed watching the cut scenes because they're so funny. I ended up also buying the game on my PSP because I knew I'd be more motivated to play through and unlock everything in the game if I could play it on the go.
4-0 out of 5 stars Fun Game... To Easy... and Too Short
I liked playing it. Its a lot of fun... but like the prequel game it's too short with no challenging game elements. I'm sure a lot of kids play this so I'm not judging too harshly. I liked it and I play all the latest games...

5-0 out of 5 stars Just plain great!!
It is a clean fun, awesome game to play.It is fun to play it with someone or alone, and in my particular case, with not much skills to videogames, it is easy to catch up with other more experienced players without becaming boring.I highly recommend it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Game Of The Year!!!!!
When I first looked at this game in the store I wasn't real sure about it.I was totally surprised when I got it home and tried it out.It starts out slow but that is only to prepare you for what is to come!It has the greatest storyline and add great graphics, wonderful characters and easy to learn controls.Put all that together and you have OKAMI!!I am an avid gamer I love all types but mainly enjoy action/adventure.I am a 36 year old mother of 4 and I so enjoy sitting down with my kids and kicking their butt (in a game of coarse)we all have so much fun together.I know that alot of people look down at video games in general but I DO SPEND QUALITY TIME with my kids!Anyway, this game was an absolute masterpiece! It had it all!I have played god Of War, Samari Warriors 1,2 & EX. Legends, Dynasty Warriors, Norrath, Balders Gate just to name a few. This game was the icing on the cake!I have never written reviews about any games before but I just couldn't keep from saying something about this game!!I plan to play it over and over because I know there is plenty more to do in this game that I may have missed the first time. This game has to be a qualifier for, if not the winner for GAME OF THE YEAR!!!!
5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing
With the PS2's life cycle coming to an end, there are hardly any new games that are anything remotely spectacular.Capcom's Okami however, is just that, and it's not just one of the best games to ever grace the PS2, it's one of the most original games you'll ever play. The first thing you'll notice about Okami is the game's incredibly unique art style and graphics, which are some of the best to ever grace the PS2.Seriously, this game looks incredible, you won't believe your eyes.Okami's storyline is based on Japanese legend dealing with the sun god Amaterasu, who you play as in the form of a white wolf, and the epic quest that awaits him. Now, what truly sets Okami apart from the rest of the pack is the caligraphy-esque celestial brush that you must use to advance throughout the game.Need a bridge?Draw it.Need to dispatch a pesky enemy?Draw him in half. This brush adds a new dynamic to the gameplay which is fresh and unique, and makes you wonder why no one has ever tried anything like it before in a game of this type. There's loads of side quests and mini-games as well, adding to the length of Okami which truly make it an epic game, and all of which help make this one of the best games ever on the PS2.If there's anything bad to say about Okami, it's that the combat can get too easy at spots, but that is only an extremely minor gripe. All in all, Okami is just the thing that PS2 owners have been waiting and yearning for.An original, epic adventure that doesn't get stale and provides some of the most unique and mouth watering graphics you'll ever see.If you own a PS2, Okami is an absolute must own, and it's one of the best games you'll ever play.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful departure from the rest
Okami is a wonderful game. It's unique in so many ways from what other games have been coming out, yet it melds its gameplay elements together better than many of the rest. Its compelling from beginning to end, but getting to the end is never a rush, because you don't want it to be over yet.

2-0 out of 5 stars Don'tdisappoint yourself
Do yourself a favor and rent the game from your local video store before wasting your money. The one thing that I really hate about this game is that you cannot jump. How dumb is that? When playing the game you have to go uncessary routes in order to get places, because you cannot jump. The storyline is pathetic. I laugh everytime I look at the case of the game sitting on top of my tv, this is where the game will stay

4-0 out of 5 stars Its an okay game, But I miss freedom and flexibility
Scarface The World Is Yours (Vivendi Games) was one of the most hyped videos games of 2006. Following the success of the Godfather game, people couldn't wait to get their hands on the Scarface game especially when some reviewers said it was as good or better than the Grand Theft Auto Games.
5-0 out of 5 stars Don't listen to the nay-sayers
I can only assume that the handful of people rating this game with one star out of five are GTA fanboys or total curmudgeons. Forget comparisons with GTA. Yes, some of the open-world gameplay elements are familiar. But this is basically a Tony Montana Simulator, and THAT'S the (very considerable) USP of the game. It's all about "What Would Tony Do?" The conversations are hilarious, the gunplay is great, the vehicle physics are solid, the drug wars game adds an extra layer of strategy and some interesting choices. Sure, there are some periods where game events hit a bit of a lull, but most other games (GTA in particular) are guilty of this. And at its best, this game is an absolute blast. Aside from the decent core mechanics, the game will MAKE YOU LAUGH constantly, which is no small consideration; it's consistently entertaining even when you're NOT busy with a mission, and you can't ask for much more than that. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars After all is said and done...its worth the price of admission.
After having played through a large portion of Bully, I can say this: Though its gameplay style may mimic other Rockstar titles (mainly the Grand Theft Auto series), Bully stands out on its own with many tweaks, themes, options, and fun to warrant itself as a standalone game worthy of praise, and not just another clone.
5-0 out of 5 stars The PS2's very own version of "The Catcher in the Rye"
Bully may very well be one of the most contraversial games of all time.Looked down upon by many groups, parents and politicians as a "Grand Thef Auto in a high school," or a "Columbine Simulator," simply based of Rockstars reputation it has for putting out adult oriented games.Especially when stacked with the contraversy surrounding the Hot Coffee Mod found in San Andreas last year. The game suffered long before it's release when Rockstar only had a name to their game. Now that it's finally out we can see just what this game is, and what it isn't.

1-0 out of 5 stars Yes
All of the people that gave this game a review of more than two stars are bs-ing you. Those people are probably hardcore ff7 fans - that game was barely mediocre at best.Other ff7 releases = advent children, cell phone game, and movie/tv show thing. All three things, resectively, sucked. Now comes, "Dierge of Cerberus"whoop did eeee doo!!The only reason why I rented it was because the title says, "final fantasy" in it.The only redeeming quality of this game is the cutscenes - other than that, boring. If you can get more than 20 minutes through the game, then by all means, it's the game for you.

2-0 out of 5 stars Fun game......just a really bad game.....
I read poor reviews for this game in PSM magazine yet failed to believe them seeing I am a hardcore Final Fantasy fan. I ran to the store and picked this up, popped it in my PS2, and awaited to review it myself. I seem to speak for myself when saying this...but I just think simple games that are easy are just...fun. This game was amazingly fun, just not worth 50$. I highly suggest renting this game, unless you're a FF collecter (like myself). The length is also dissapointing, seeing I beat it in one sitting (only about a 4-6 hour game).
3-0 out of 5 stars This game is the definition of "Generic"
I just beat DoC (Dirge of Cerberus), and if I had to describe this game in 1 word, it would be: generic - and that saddens me deeply, because this game had the potential to be bad arse. I mean come on, Vincent Valentine (cool name, huh?) is a awesome, well designed character, and the FFVII world is a classic theme based world to make a great game off of - RPG or not.

5-0 out of 5 stars A brilliant (and fun!) role-playing adventure...
First, let me say that I bought this game without being very familiar with the TALES series. While I had read good things about the series, it was really by chance that I stumbled across it on GameSpot, read the review there, took a look at the screenshots, and decided that I wanted to give this game a spin.
5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Addition to the Tales Series
While the Tales series isn't nearly as big as other series (namely Final Fantasy), it's still a particularly fun and satisfying game to play. For one, the Tales series has always been able to bring about fantastic gameplay and expansive worlds. While the stories sometimes seem generic they're brilliantly told with fantastic characters.Tales of the Abyss is the latest in the series and needless to say, if you liked Tales of Legendia or even the far superior (and arguably best) Tales of Symphonia, you'll more than likely enjoy this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars This game rocks!
Yes, I am a die-hard Star Wars fan and yes, I love a good mission-based action game so man, if this isn't the perfect game for me! It's so much fun and there's so much freedom in the game in itself! Add on to that the space missions and Wow, this game totally blows me away! Highly recommended for anyone who is a Star Wars fan, a FPS fan, or a fan of fun gameplay!

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun Game But Some Parts Take Too Long
This is a pretty cool game that kills off the lonely, boring hours of my life, but I feel that some of the levels have too long of a time limit--Not that I can finish them that quickly, but I think they should be designed to be shorter levels. For instance, I think the Make the Moon level gives you 25 minutes to complete it. Well, that's just great if I have 25 minutes to kill, but that's quite a bit of time to just sit down and space out the world while I roll junk up into a ball. So like 10 tries on that level kills off 4 hours of my life, which gets me closer to my sweet, sweet death, but sometimes I like to have my playtimes in shorter fixes. For those times, I play Zuma, but I wish I could play a shorter version of Katamari.

4-0 out of 5 stars Weirdly addictive, disappointingly short
I played this game with some friends out-of-town, and seriously had to acquire a PS2 just to satisfy my craving. Not a shooter game, not an rpg, you just roll.Seriously.It's surprisingly awesome actually - but my big disappointment came when after about 2 days of mildly committed playing, it was done.I'd beat it, and I'm really not a big gamer. And I don't know how much mileage I'm really gonna get out of the sort of limited 2-player mode.Maybe the sequel is better - I hope?

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful, wonderful game for a very low price
Dragon Warrior VIII for the PS2 is a wonderful game. It's Japanese, so it's done in a cutesy anime style, which might put some people off.(Personally, I found it a refreshing change.)
5-0 out of 5 stars Must-play if you enjoy rpgs
I love this game, most of all, for its charm. The characters are so well-animated and cute, when not laugh-out-loud funny. The voice acting is absolutely perfect, the dialogue is engaging.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not a true Spyro game
I regret to say that I am very disappointed in this game. I've loved the Spyro games since playing the original 'Spyro the Dragon' for PS1 and was really looking forward to this one.
5-0 out of 5 stars Spyro is back!
Finally, there is a Spyro game that is as fun as the original trilogy. When Spyro moved onto PS2, we saw the downfall with Enter the dragonfly and hero's tail (I hated a hero's tail). But this game is extremely fun, with great adventures, great voice cast. This game gets 5 stars from me! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Different From FFX
Let me begin by saying that this game is very different from FFX.Do not expect an epic story here. And the battle system is drastically different. All three of the main characters are females. The story takes place in Spira.Yuna, Rikky, and a new character, Paine are Sphere Hunters. They travel all over the continenct searching for these artifacts. The story is very lightweight and definitely not engaging. However, the game is not a bad RPG.If you simply just want to pass the time and play an RPG, then this game will do.Just do not expect it to be anywhere near as good as FFX. In my view, there are many other superior RPGs out there that should be first on your list.

2-0 out of 5 stars WHAT is all the rave about???
I am a die-hard fan of Kingdom Hearts, and I've heard the fantastic reviews for Final Fantasy. So, I decided to try it out.I rented it at the video store, and boy, what a waste of time!
1-0 out of 5 stars Dosen't live up to the series expectiations
If you've come to this game because you're a big fan already of final fantasy, loved final Fantasy X, or are just looking for a fun game to play, you've come to the wrong game.As an avid final fantasy fan I immediatly jumped on this game as soon as it came out, but was grossly dissapointed. The characters they reused from the first game were perverted in the sense that they were grossly changed (ex. costumes were made emensly slutty) and the story plot was WEAK.In addition to this, I was able to beat the game in less than a month! And by only holding down the x button during all battles none the lesss! It dosen't matter why you want to play this game, be it stroy pot, reputation, or battle system, this game is not something you want to have seen on your game shelf. ... Read more

Capcom has been turning out some great games lately.Zombie basher Dead Rising for the 360 and the superb and amazing Okami for the PS2 have been two of them, and Clover Studios, the recently dissolved developer behind Okami, is responsible for this whacky button-masher.God Hand is one of the craziest brawlers you'll ever play, and it has enough challenge to it to make it worth coming back to.You play as a young fighter named Gene, as you take on an assortment of thugs and other baddies in a mission of revenge.Lucky for you, Gene is a skilled fighter with a little surprise.Gene's right arm posesses some incredible power that can help you beat your enemies into submission as you battle your way to take on an evil demon named Elvis.Yes, God Hand's storyline is weird and whacky, but the game's action and story are so gleefully fun that you'll hardly notice the repetition of the gameplay. The irreverant humor and deep fighting system will keep your attention, but as a whole God Hand is too short. Also, it's not as violent as one might hope it is, but it's refreshing to see a brawler focus more on it's fighting system than gallons of spilled blood. All in all, God Hand doesn't offer much that you haven't seen before, but if you're yearning for some whacky, fighting fun on your PS2, look no futher.

5-0 out of 5 stars Farewell, Clover. We hardly knew ya...
This is Clover's last video game. They produced amazing games like Okami and Viewtiful Joe. This one might suck, I haven't played it, so ignore my rating, but it is the last game from Clover, which Capcom has disolved. Goodbye, thanks for Okami alone. It's flawless. If more people had thought so, perhaps they wouldn't be gone. Like Arrested Development and Firefly, the good die young. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun game! Very Entertaining
I bought this game for my daughter's bday and she loves it, as well as our whole family. We now have Karoake twice a week for a family night. Before I couldn't get my kids to hang out with us adults for anything!! The songs are fun also..

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Game!
KR 3 has a generally good songlist, there are some songs I don't know but I know the majority of them. The KR games in general are excellent and this one isn't any different. As a stand alone game (and if you only have one mic) this one beats KR Party. The game isn't too difficult to score well on, the easiest difficulty is way too easy and with medium even the crappiest singer can get platinum records most of the time.

5-0 out of 5 stars Karaoke Rocks!!
This is a lot of fun.I'd reccomend having two mics so you can do the duets, but if not, it's still a blast. This is great for parties, or family get togethers. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars DDR - Not the Deutsche Demokratisches Republik
I love the DDR games. They're tons of fun and get me up off my butt. They're also a lot of fun with parties. Some of the DDR games are better liked than others, but they are all worth having.

4-0 out of 5 stars AWesome dance pad but.....
Hi im am 12 yrsold and i have had mmy dance pad 4 6monts OK this dance pad is a really good dance pad, you dont have to slam on the arrows you can just tap it the only thing that i have a problem with is that it moves on more jumpy and intense somgs for example i will slide my dance pad up tp the front of my room start a song do the song then when i am dont i am towards the back of the room so yah but the dance pad comes with stick on grips so DEFINITLY put them on!! But other wise this is an awesome dance pad!
5-0 out of 5 stars the best pad for your money!!!
this pad is very light, durable, and lies flat on your floor no matter if it is a wood surface, carpet or your concrete garage floor, and also it doesn't slide, plus this pad is 100% better than those very very very very cheap zip-up pads by intec so whenever you step on a arrow you don't have to slam your foot on it for that arrow to press down you can just tap your foot on the arrows gently even on heavy mode which i was very surprised about so overall go get this pad it will not fail you and it is still lasting me and in very very good condition after 6 months of having it and playing it everyday!!!!!!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Worked at first but then...

5-0 out of 5 stars Killing people never gets old!
How do you follow up a runaway success like 2001's Grand Theft Auto III? Rockstar North responded a year later with GTA: Vice City, a game that took the gameplay of its predecessor and expanded it considerably. At the same time, Vice City gave the series an extensive and amazing stylistic makeover, drenching the experience in the sights, sounds, and attitude of Miami, Florida from the mid '80s. So where do you go from there? You take it statewide. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas expands the series' concept to encompass three entire cities, as well as the countryside between them. The gameplay similarly expands, packing in some explosive set pieces and amazing action-movie-like thrills while maintaining that same remarkably fun, freefom GTA feel. In short, Rockstar has done it again. San Andreas definitely lives up to the Grand Theft Auto name. In fact, it's arguably the best game in the series.

3-0 out of 5 stars Ehh...
I got this game during the summer expecting it to be great fun. Well...it caught my interest for a few weeks then I just got bored with it. I'd only recomend it to people who do not get bored easily.

3-0 out of 5 stars A bit disappointed
The main reason our family looks forward to fall is because there will be a new DDR game released.DDR Extreme 2 is somewhat of a disappointment.Yes, there are some new songs. But I am getting sick of so many of the same songs from previous games "re-mixed" for the new DDR games.People who play a lot of DDR are craving new songs to play.So why can't we get a version with ALL completely new songs? The other thing we hate: the work you have to go thru to even unlock all of the songs.Who cares about buying clothes & outfits for the dance characters?!We turn off the characters anyway - they're too annoying to leave on.I wish the game was the same format as the older DDR games like Max 2 & Extreme but with ALL NEW songs!I agree with one of the other reviewers - let us all vote for the music we want. This is not at all one of my most played DDR games.DDR Mom in Illinois

5-0 out of 5 stars This Game is Great !
DDR is my favorite game, nowadays. It started out where I just played my nintendo 94 and GameCube all the time.. This all changed when I went to an arcade during summer vacation and saw this big metal thing that had arrows on it. My friend and I were both new to it, and we both sucked. Now almost all of my friends have been rambling on about this new game "DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION" As time went by, more and more of my friends had gotten DDR and I had ended up having to join in the game. The more I played it, the more experience I had gotten. I had played so many different types of DDR; the arcade type, DDRMAX, DDRMAX2, DDRULTRAMIX3...and now my favorite, DDREXTREME2! I can now play the song,'Butterfly' in the arcade and get an 'S'on it! I dont own DDREXTREME2, but I know lots about it, and that im saving up my allowance for it. So in conclusion....
