Make A DASH for "Dinner Dash"
I rarely buy PC games, but this one is clever and fun. I thoroughly enjoyed playing the demo several times so I decided to purchase it. Yes, this is a game that you can play for hours and hours. Every so many years they come up with a game that captures the imagination. I remember being blown away by "Roller Coaster Tycoon." But games like "Dinner Dash," "Cake Mania," and "Luxor" are bringing the fun back. I like the fact that a lot of these games have different skill levels or goals that you have to reach. It's challenging. I'm an adult and I'm finding myself addicted to PC games again. It's hard to beat arcade classics like "Pac-Man" and "Centipede," but the current crop of PC games seems to be headed in the right direction.

Hours of entertaining play
The older I get, the more I appreciate what are called "casual games" - simple objectives, like Tetris are more my speed. I grew up playing Asteroids, Centipede, Root Beer Tapper & Frogger... in many ways, this game is a combination of all of those. The main character of the game tells her boss to shove it (in a nice way, of course) and starts her own restaurant. She has a variety of customers... college kids, senior citizens, businessmen & women - and all have different levels of patience, tipping and fuses.

Enjoyable even with Technical Glitches
Each of the games reaches a point where, in the words of one of the game's programmers, "poor coding kicks in." Rather than go through each of the points in the games where bugs surface, I'll simply suggest potential buyers go to EA Games' website and flip through the 4 pages of the technical support issues with the Harry Potter games on PC. If you still want to buy the set, then beware:at some point, there you or your kid will be, having a ball, and just about to -- [hey, what the..., why did the screen go black?!]. Caveat emptor.

A lot of fun!!!
I am currently playing the sorcerers stone. It is very fun. I like all of the puzzles. One thing that I don't like is that there is no freedom to wander around the castle. It is still very fun though.

Wasn't the very first Crash Bandicoot game supposed to become one of the all-time greatest Playstation games?That's what Sony thought would happen back in the day.After all, they promoted the game to death.Well look at that... didn't happen!And with good reason.The game is horrible.I can't believe ANYONE would prefer this junk over Sonic the Hedgehog or, especially, the Mario Bros. series.

My Favorite
Crash Bandicoot's my favorite video game character and all his work is genius.I'm looking forward to his latest video game installment, Crash Tag Team Racing.The game's graphics are good, the gameplay itself sounds amuzing, and the trailer (on GameSpot) prove how visually stunning it's going to be too.But, Crash's humble beginning is not the same as Mario and Sonic's were.It was much better, more creative, and bigger.

OOOOOOOOOHWOOOOOOOOOW
And I really mean woooooooow.I absolutley love the My Scene girls and what is better than to see them in action!?Well nothing.I was very excited for the movie,and the game just made things a lot better.There are soooooo many cool things you can do.Finish off unfinished scripts by filling in empty spaces.You can pick your theme too,from being a spy,to going in space,to a sunny beach.There are some mini games,like guide a golf cart through out the studio to help Barbie deliver lunches.You can give the girls a head to toe makeover.Give them a completely different face feature by putting make up and change their hair etc.You can also dress two of the gils and get them ready.My computer is Windows XP,and the only flaw to this game is that it only works for Windows XP(as much as I've read).Prove me wrong,but other than that,this game is perfect.I got it the moment it got out and I'm still playing it and it hasn't gone boring.I say buy it.Oh and did I mention,there are short movies in between the levels(I don't know how to call them),and the graphics are sooooooooooooo good that you just want to watch it over and over agin.

The My Scene game is the coolest and plus you get to see the favourite My Scene girls in action.I got it the moment it got out,and I still play it to this day and it still isn't boring.BUY IT NOW

Yes finnaly,the first My Scene computer game.And can you belive it,I still don't have it,but I'm sooooooo getting it in two weeks.Despite the fact that I don't have the game,I still know a lot about it,I just haven't played it.I've read a lot about it and I've seen many screen shots,and the graphics are perfect.The game it self is sooooo cool.You give the girls makeovers,you play minigames in wich you help the My Scene friends fullfill duties(for ex.help Barbie deliver lunches around the studio by guiding a golf cart).You dress the gang from head to toe and finish unfinished scripts by filling in empty spaces.You als set up your own scenes and you get to shoot your own movie.This game is veeery cool and on top of all that,it's very educational because you learn how movies are made.I SAY buy it. ... Ice Age 2: the Meltdown
My error and I opened the package, I should have read it more completely, I thought I was buying the movie, got rid of it so can't really do a review but appreciate the opportunity so am responding.

FUN GAME!!
I bought this for my four kids to play and watch, and all were enthralled by the graphics and multiple levels.They are all big Scrat fans, so they loved that Scrat could "go ninja" and knock out bad guys.Lots of little puzzles and mini-games inside the levels.It took us a long time to finish - the big spider level was the hardest!And I thought the ending would have had a better finish than what it did, but it was still a blast to play - similar gameplay to Sierra's "The Hobbit".My seven year old has already made it pretty far - keyboard configurations are a breeze.I would definitiely recommend this game.

Not as Advertised.Not for Win98.
I bought this item because the description clearly said that this product is compatable with Windows 98. When I got it, the package said Win 2000 and XP only, and furthermore it required Pentium 4. Starforce is bad
It's too bad this game uses Starforce copy protection. I don't want to copy the game or do anything illeagal, but I can't use any CD burning software with this installed. Also if you remove it, starforce does not come off your PC. If you google "starforce removal tool" you can download an exe to remove starforce from your PC. You also have to take a few other steps, you will find instructions there. There is currently a boycott on games using starforce, and for good reason. I do not recommend buying this game.

Great games, poor user interface
I received this for Christmas and wasn't able to get it to work for two days.My computer's hardware well exceeded the system requirements for the software.After digging around I discovered I needed to update the drivers for my video card.The software uses DirectX 9.0c so you'll want to make sure your video drivers are up to date.The game cd uses copy protection which means you have to insert it every time you want to play the game.It doesn't just check the disk when you start the program. It checks it every time it loads one of the individual games.So unless you're able to make a copy of the disk with the copy protection intact I suggest you keep the disk in a safe place where it won't get damaged.Also the autorun program on the cd is poorly designed.Most game cd's Ive seen will load the installation program if the game isn't already installed and then after that will load the game screen when the cd is inserted.This cd wants to load the installation program every time you insert the cd, even after the program is already installed.I have to remember to hold to the SHIFT key on my computer when I insert the cd to keep the installation program from trying to run.
Games are cool, but Namco stinks!

I thoroughly enjoy mystery puzzle games and I got this game for Christmas a while ago.It's getting pretty old now and might not work as well on newer machines.I don't know.It worked on my Win2000 just fine.However, you do have to download the patches because there are a few bugs in it.

We loved it
My 2 5-year-olds and I love this game. A few of the scenes had difficult controls, like the log jumping, but the games were just hard enough to be challenging for them, but not so hard that they couldn't eventually get them, after I'd helped them a couple of times. They improved their mouse control with the map-through-the-shelf puzzle and the crystal-through-the-caves puzzle. The matching games were also at a good level for them. And the mazes were again challenging but not frustrating. They played this for many hours - there are many games in each area, rather than just the 5 of some of the other Barbie games. The graphics seemed fine most of the time. My only irritation was the inability to make a backup copy of the disc - kids are rough on CDs, never mind I had twins and they had to take turns.

Zero Stars! (they made me choose at least one!)
I bought this game as soon as I saw it as my daughter and I both love and play all of the other Barbie games by Vivendi Universal.

Best thing ever made!
I have read all the reviews about this and so I thought this game was going to work out for a kid like me.So I bought this.The controls are a little junky but who cares about the controls when you can still play this.The bad things about the controls is that some of them are on the mouse and some are on the keyboard. For instance, the attack button and talk button are on the mouse,and the jump control is on the keyboard,the special button is the c key, and the move keys are w,s,d,and,a or the arrow keys.The only other bad thing is that you sometimes can not point your animal in the direction you want him/her in. I cannot imagine anyone not wanting this game.One very good thing about this game is that you can play minigames on this.This includes tiki minigolf,shuffleboard,and lemur rave. Tiki minigolf can be a little hard.You can play with the very crafty penguins,Marty the zebra,Alex the lion,Melman the giraffe,and Gloria the hippo.This is definitely a game I would recommend.P.S. you have to purchase minigames at the zoovanier shop.
