2-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Low-Quality
I'm already not a very big fan of "Winx Club," but I tried playing this game and it didn't even meet the minimal expectations that I usually have for a game. For one, several plot points in the game seem rushed or out-of-order.Someone could unwittingly go to the Witch's Castle and retrieve Stella's solar ring before even going to the forest at the point where the ring was stolen, which will cause mass confusion for the player.Gameplay is also very slow-moving, and makes one irritable while waiting to advance further. For hardcore Winx fans only.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Fun!
Hi. I got this and LOVE it! I had so much fun solving all of the various puzzels. I had a lot of fun playing it. Hope you enjoy it too!

4-0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good
A smash hit overseas, Super Robot Taisen is a blend of strategy and role-playing with giant robots. With a combination like that, can anything go wrong? No, not here anyway, because Super Robot Taisen is surprisingly good, and upon playing this GBA game, you'll know why it's such a hit.Selecting from two characters, SRT has a long and involving storyline as you strategize battles with your robot in tow and take on hordes of opposing robots as well. The battles are turn based, so for old school fans of the genre, SRT has a ton to offer, but for those more used to the real time elements that RPG's use more and more these days, this could kill the game for many. The graphics and animation are nicely done although they can be jerky in spots, while the sound effects are nicely done and the control is pretty spot on.All in all, if you're looking for a deep and involving game for your GBA (which is something all the more rare these days) then you should definitely give Super Robot Taisen a try, and if you dig it, then you should be happy to know that there are more in the series on the way over here. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Short but lots of fun!
First my disclaimer is that I'm usually pretty bad at video games - even retarded. But I am a big fan of cute side scrolling games where there is a visible start and finish. If there are talking mushrooms, bizarre cute creatures with names only the japanese can pronounce - i'm all over it. So needless to say I love this game. It's fairly easy, doesn't require too much coordination - the only bad thing is that it is short.I just started the game yesterday and I'm almost done. But very cute and well worth the $20. If you like this game, a great game is Klonoa 2 - sooooo cute and quite a long game.

5-0 out of 5 stars one by one the penguins steal my sanity
i love penguins. i especially love the penguins of the movie madagascar because they remind me of my four kids. i had surgery recently and one of my daughters thought that her gameboy would help to cheer me up during my hospital stay. this game was so much fun. it kept making me smile. easy enough for kids yet still challenging for the older ones too, entertaining. great game

5-0 out of 5 stars Cute graphics and gameplay!
The game, Madagascar Operation Penguin GBA is alot of fun! As an adult, I thought it was fun, a little challenging at times and I was able to complete the game. There are 4 characters to choose from with their own special skills.

5-0 out of 5 stars Is there a better word for awesome
Well, what can i say, i've ways wanted to play as a cow, and how i can.I've made all these cool friends across the barnyard as well as some enemies, but that comes with the fun. Some of those mini-games just totally rock, the pool game for instance, i can't believe how someone could pack so much fun into such a small GBA game.I'm giving them 5.3 stars out of 5.. thats how cool i think this game is.

3-0 out of 5 stars Three classic games from the 70s
This contains three games I used to play as a child in the 70s.Connect 4 is pretty much the same as the game.I find that I beat the 'easy' setting every time and almost always come to a draw on the 'hard' setting, I'll have to practice more.

5-0 out of 5 stars Classic Castlevania, Amazing Arcade Action, Great Fun, Great Game
No, this is not an easy one, but set it down and after awhile try try again, it highly addictive, nice graphics, an older game at its best...
5-0 out of 5 stars Castlevania
This game is the one that started it all in matters of the castlevania trilogies i always played this game even when i had my first NES and that classic feel of this game has never left it will always be the best cause you never forget your first.

4-0 out of 5 stars Classic, but not without its flaws
Bittersweet memories come to mind upon thinking of this game. Short story shorter, this game features Simon Belmont, who is hunting Dracula. Not entirely intriguing, but whatever gets you whipping skeletons and vampires. It's easily one of the most fun games of its time, but in retrospect, Castlevania's game mechanics are unapologetically screwed up. The words "Medusa head" and "Fleaman" bring shivers to even the most hardened gamers' spines, as they remember being humbled under the digital molasses weighing down Simon while annoying enemies knock him into bottomless pits. The player has no mid-air control, which frustrates to no end as agile, chastising enemies run loops around him/her. This kind of stuff was hardly acceptable, considering the level of control you feel over Mario in his respective series. Another problem is that you'll find yourself mindlessly running into worthless items while holding something good like holy water or a cross, a problem remedied in future Castlevania installments. On a superficial note though, the game has some of the best music for its time, as the catchy bleeps and bloops composing tracks like "Wicked Child" still get stuck in my head.

4-0 out of 5 stars Your Favorite Characters on the Track
So, this is a fairly interesting game.I'm a big fan of many cartoon network shows, so it's cool to play as your favorite character and battle the others. You start out with a number of characters- Courage, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Johnny Bravo, Sheep, Cow and Chicken, and others. Each character has certan abilities- some weigh more than others which slows your speed down, others have a better grip on the track, making sharp turns easier, others have higher speeds overall. You have to choose the best of all possible worlds in this regard.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great, non-violent game!
This is a really great non-violent game that is easy for all to understand and play. My six year old son just loves it, and I have to say, I do as well. You can be many different characters from Cartoon Network shows. As you win challenges you gain access to other characters, power-ups and tracks. The only thing that I would say that I don't like about it is instead of saving the games it gives you passwords. But this is easy enough to fix, we keep a small post-it pad with our gameboy and just write them down.

4-0 out of 5 stars realy nice game!
I am a 8 year old and I think this game is really good because it is challenging but not too challenging. The graphics are good. I don't like the music. It is similar to Crash Bandicoot CTR. I got it free with my sister's SP that she's getting for Christmas. It is worth getting it for free! I would recommend it to people who like racing games. I think it would be boring for teenagers, but kids like me or younger would like it. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Half decent compilation that could have been much better
With the release of GBA games dwindling ever so much, it's nice to get a compilation cartridge from Capcom, even if it's only a half decent one.Capcom Classics Mini Mix features the old 8-bit Nintendo versions of Strider, Bionic Commando, and Mighty Final Fight; all of three of which are worthy distractions for the most part.Longtime gamers will no doubt be familiar in one way or another with the three titles; all of which are emulated near perfectly from their NES counterparts, even the lag time and glitches from the NES Strider are here, and it's still the best game in this collection.Though the 16-bit Genesis version was far superior, the version of Strider we get here isn't bad at all, and is a fun platforming adventure.Bionic Commando is pretty different from the arcade game (which is available on the home console Capcom Classic Collection Vol. 1) but fun nontheless.Mighty Final Fight on the other hand isn't as fun as the original, classic brawler.Taking the original game and characters and shrinking them down to ultra-deformed, anime-like fighters, the game just doesn't retain the feel of the original Final Fight game. The biggest gripe of this compilation is that Capcom could have easily thrown in another game or two to go along with these three. If they wanted to stick with old NES games, then any of the Mega Man games or even the rare Street Fighter 2010 would have been welcome here, as would any of Capcom's older arcade titles (1942, Street Fighter 2, Mercs, or Forgotten Worlds) which would have been easily handled on the GBA.Not to mention, some extras would have been nice as well, but at the bargain price, I can't complain too much. All in all Capcom Classics Mini Mix is worth a look for longtime gamers who remember these games, but whether it's worth picking up will be up to you. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars the good game
I think this game gets you out of the sofa and into a reality world were you do whatever you want.

3-0 out of 5 stars solid, but I've played better gba games
This was quite fun, however the technology and gameplay were inferior to the independent product by the name of Karnaaj.Plus at $8.99 you can't beat that price. For anyone that is a fan of this title and racing in general I would recommend this as well.

5-0 out of 5 stars Grand Theft Auto..for the Gameboy Advance...'bout time....
We've all been looking for(the often rumored) Grand Theft Auto for the Gameboy Advance and, now, after a long wait- we finally have it. Despite the reviews I've read all over the internet and even a certain gaming magazine on the game(which weren't favorable, let me tell you); I found the game to be pretty awesome(especially considering what the GBA can do). It amazes me how they were able to make the place so HUGE in the game...but they did it. Played in the vein of the classic PSone games, Grand Theft Auto has found a good avenue on the Advance. You can explore Liberty City, find dozens of vehicles to drive, choose from hundreds of side missions, even go on rampages to blow away your enemies and earn points by doing it in a set amount of time. Like the product description states, Grand Theft Auto brings the thrills of the classic GTA gaming series to your Game Boy Advance....big time. You'd be a fool to miss this pocket version. It's just as much fun as all the other games. It is, definitely, a must for all GTA fans. Trust me.

3-0 out of 5 stars Blasted blast
I bought this game for my wife to play when she gets bored at work. I tihnk she likes it, but I ofund it quite frustrating and annoying. First off, it is nothing like the Scrabble boardgame. Granted, i've only played the classic mode, which is similar to Boggle. Track letters to make a word. This game shouldn't have the Scrabble license.

I bought this game right after Christmas.I am an adult gamer who prefers puzzle games anyway but this game is awesome to play.It has a bookworm or boggle feel to it and my 14 year old daughter keeps stealing it from me as well.It is a very reasonably priced game at $11.99 at Target. For anyone who is interested in puzzle games and enjoys the game bookworm, which you can no longer find at a reasonable price if at all, I would recommend this game highly. If you play in the classic mode or puzzle mode you do not have to worry about being timed.I like a game you can put down and come back to if there is something I must do.It is true that you cannot save at any point but I guess that way every game is a new one even if I had to quit.I do wish that it would maybe save high score but for the price I am not complaining.I am very satisfied.

5-0 out of 5 stars I bought this game for my 7 year old son
and we ended up arguing who should play it!!! Boktai 2 breaks my misconception that Gameboy Advance games are usually formulaic at best. The game combines Zelda-ish action RPG with irresistable fanboy themes of spaghetti westerns and vampire hunting. Add to that a very inventive solar element and inventive gameplay, I actually look forward and make some time to play it, as opposed to playing it because I'm just bored.
5-0 out of 5 stars Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django......
In Boktai 2, you reprise your role as Django, the vampire hunter. Him and his trusy mentor, Otenko, have ended up in the town of San Miguel on their journey where they discover something called the 'undeadening' is threatening the place. Soon, he finds out that the immortals are nearby regaining their strength in numbers and that's where the story begins. Though, the game still has the twist of playing the game in the sunlight to defeat the immortals, the game is played quite differently this time around. Because of that, Boktai 2 feels like a totally brand-new game instead of a rehash of the first game. There's alot more backstory this time around in which you find out more about Django's family and the reason for his rivalry with Sabata among other things. Don't come into Boktai 2 expecting it to be a cakewalk like the first game, Boktai 2 is alot more challenging with it's puzzles and bosses. Almost to the point of becoming frustrating but not quite.
5-0 out of 5 stars My favorite game ever!^_^
Boktai is my favorite game series.I first got interested after playing MMBN4 because Otenko seemed like an interesting companion. The solar sensor is what makes people either love or hate the game.I thought it was a really neat idea because it gives the game sort of a more interactive feel.I'll go outside to play, and when I need to recharge my energy, I'll hold up my GBA SP in the same pose as Django. It's very fun.^_^
