Mario Kart Super Circuit for Game Boy Advance is best compared to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) counterpart.If you began liking Mario Kart with the Nintendo 64 version, then the GBA version will not live up to your expectations.However, I have friends who prefer the SNES version; so if you are one of those, consider the GBA version an upgrade from the SNES version.
AWESOME GAME

Hard to find
This was a hard game to find. I guess it has been out for a while. The only thing I don't like about this is you can't start from scratch. There is no option to create a new file. Therefore if you buy a used one, you miss out on collecting the pokemon.
Good for short term play but mindless pinball in the long term.
I bought this game today and have been playing it most of the day (about 8 hours max).The review is correct, it is a fun game but there is very little to keep you playing again and again in the long run.Still, it's a game i would take out now and then to play during car trips since it has a very good save feature that lets you save mid-game.

its not bad
i got this as a b-day present and it wasnt bad. your raven in the game, inaracting with friends and going to places raven did in the hit tv show. it is a bit easy for me(im 12)and its too hard for my 6 year old sister so ill say 11 year olds will find it perfect. the graphics are disturbing because they are horrible and most of the time i play i focus on the graphics and they keep me from playing right. i also have that so raven 2 and its waaay better. if you are a 10-12 year old fan, than be my guest and get this game but if you dislike the show this will be diffucult and boring because you will be saying "who the heck is this person and why are they talking to me" and if your younger than 10, STAY AWAY. if you are looking for prefection you wont find it here. sorry raven, great show but your games arent so good!

Awesome Strategy Game
LOTR The Third Age is a turn-based strategy game. You first choose your commander which you will control for ever level except for training (which I reccomend you take). For the good: Aragorn, Elrond, and Gandalf. For the bad: The Witch King, The Mouth of Sauron (only seen in ROTK Extended), and Sauruman.Then you almost every level you choose a companion (up to 3) to fight with you in Middle Earth. For the Good: Theoden, Boromir, Eowyn, Faramir, Eomer, Gimli, or Legolas. And for the bad: Grishnakh, Lurtz, Ugluk, Gothmog, Gorbag, Sharku, or Wormtongue. You can also unlock Haldir, and Shagrat, but I'm not quite sure how.
Why do programmers have to do that?
Got this game for my game boy and it is the worst one to date about cheating. There is nothing random about the games random number generator. You have heros that have different number of moves they can make (0-4) which depends on the hero in question. I was so impressed with the one sided nature of the number gen that I had to collect some data and crunch the numbers. The game average for the enemy is ~70%. The average for the player is ~25%. Game programmers need to get off the crutch of cheating with there numbers to make a game interesting. That is the lazy way to do it. I cannot recommend this game to anyone.

The best strategy game EVER for Game Boy Advance
This game is very, very, very, very fun. Don't buy it expecting an experience akin to the GameCube Third Age, though- this game comes to GBA as a strategy game, not a full-fledged RPG. The battles are intense and demand careful consideration for each move, lest your forces be eradicated by your computer opponent. The Third Age uses a turn-based battle system that reminds me of chess, the number of units you can move varying according to your commander's leadership skills. Their are six commanders total to choose from, my favorites being Aragorn and the Witch King. You can play this game as either good or evil. I like being good because it feels so good to destroy those nasty orcs, but I like being evil because then I don't feel so guilty when one of my units dies. Another cool feature of this game is that you can not only link up with others who own this game, you can also play two-player hotseat multiplayer on just one system. The bottom line? An awesome game for those who either like strayegy games or LOTR games or both. I couldn't stand Advance Wars, but I love the Third Age. I'm still waiting on Nintendo to come out with LOTR games for the DS.... ... Read more

An excellent entry into the tony hawk world
This is such a perfect game for the GBA (or gameboy micro) because many of us who play these handhelds play them in short spurts, when we have 5 or 10 minutes of downtime here and there, we need a game that can be fun that gives instant gratification.

You do not need fancy graphics to enjoy a good game.
I remember this game being pretty simple graphics wise if a bit less than Final Fantasy Adventure was, but still you didn't have to pretend the blue was water and the green was land; like Nobunaga's Ambition. You have to remember the age of this game so you can forgive the graphics. I played the Final Fantasy Legend games one after the other in 2001 and enjoyed the experience. For nostalgia it was great but if you haven't played or do not like older games you would not like this one.

There is no doubt that Final Fantasy Legend (SaGa in Japan, billed as Final Fantasy in the United States to boost sales) was a highly advanced game for its time (1989).However, it offers nothing that its sequel doesn't offer, and the game is, shall we say, very poor.Not having the advantage of color that its contemporaries (Dragon Warrior, Final Fantasy) had, the graphics are so poor that they were actually bad in 1989, which says a lot.The story is about as simplistic as they come, and you should be able to beat this game in a few hours no problem.Considering its limited availability now, I doubt anyone will really want to play this game - trust me, you aren't missing anything.My fellow "old school" RPG players will call me a heretic, but this game has nothing memorable to offer.Skip it. ... The best RPG of the pre Game boy advance era
This was the greatest RPG ever made for the gameboy (yes even better than any lame Gameboy color RPG except Dragon warrior 3 was good but not better). It was good for it's time. Sometimes some of the lines the characters say can be cheesy but it was a classic. If you are big on old school hndhelds please get this game. you'll be happy you did.

With each new Legends game, it just gets better and better.
I remember really enjoying this game. The graphics are remarkably more in detail then the previous Legend games. Role-playing games have something in common which is you need a pen and paper to write down stuff people say to you.I don't remember writing a lot but you see a cave you cannot get to yet, then you would want to write down the grid; the number of squares across and down.Therefore, if you do that then you will not have to worry about it so much. I remember walking around sometimes going "where do I go" but here again if you look back at what people have said to you then you will be pointed in the right direction. I liked the game, for me the frustration level was rare.If you like older games then this will be a fun one for you

I have the original version and loved it so I had to get this one. I liked even more than the first one. the color is way better. It is a lot like the first one though but even better. The Get A Clue Game Boy Game
This game was an exciting way to try to figure out your way around problems.I thought it was a game you could learn from and a game for any kid.I thought it was a challenging and was a fun way to use stratagy.

Pretty fun
To my surprise I thought this video game was really fun. The game play was great. You have to switch from Mary-Kate, Ashley, and their dog Clue to complete each level. One thing bad about it is that a little kid might have a hard time with it, sometimes the levels are kind of hard to get passed because you fall and have to start over, but others are really easy and you can breeze through them. Tetris (GB) original
I have by accident TWO copies of this original game, one I paid The game that started the puzzle craze
Back when the Game Boy was first introduced, Nintendo had foughten a war to achieve the rights to this game from its Russian Developer. Eventually Nintendo succeeded and this game was the result. Either you love Tetris or you hate it. The game is simplistic in origin, allign a continuous series of falling blocks into horizontal rows. Once in rows, the blocks clear, give you points, and eventually the speed of the falling will increase. Like I said, simple but ingenious. This game is a staple of the video game industry. Also like I said, you either love this game, or you despise it. For those of you who enjoy puzzle games, or for those of you who are patient and like games that test reflexes and brain power, there is no better game than Tetris. If you're an action fan, you'd better look somewhere else fast.

Was introduced to Tetris in 1992 by my daughter and grandson.I quickly became addicted, so much so that I raced out and bought Tetris 2, Tetris Blast and Tetris Attack. While I love all of them my very favorite is Tetris2.As a senior citizen who hates to make decisions I find that this game keeps my reflexes and mental processes sharp by forcing me to make quick decisions and it increases and strengthens the flexibility in my hands. I remember a few years ago playing this game. This was my introduction to the Secret of Mana series even though I believed this to be part of the Final Fantasy series. Maybe they called it this because they didn't know that they were going to make more games with the Mana tree, so no sense in saying FFAII and FFAIII. But the story line is definatly great. You start out as [your name for charecter here] in a forteress where the Dark Lord uses people to play in gladiator like fights. This seems like some of the Final Fantasy games where you start off with normal life for the charecter and then you delve into a rich story line. When you escape the castle, you meet up with a man who was freshly slain by monsters and a girl crying at his side. After talking to her, she tells you that she is looking for an old man. I forget his name since the time it's been, and from there, the story line becomes increasingly better. It was way ahead of it's time where it has plot twists and can bring out emotion in you. I was sad after fighting Medusa (won't say what happened) and at the tree of mana (my lips are still sealed) I don't have this game anymore so I am planning on buying it to beat it again -it's that great! There is also a remake of this game called Sword of Mana for the GBA but has minor changes that are enough for me to shun it because it will ruin my thoughts on one of the most gripping original Game Boy games ever. Buy it now!

Simple graphics and yet lots of fun.
I have really enjoyed playing a series beginnings and this game is no exception. I first thought years ago that this was a Final Fantasy game but instead it is a Mana game like Secret of Mana. I remember playing this game and really liking it. It has a story and the graphics are not so sparse that you do not have to pretend the blue is water and the green is land, but rather when you go onto land, there is texture like trees drawn and a cave opening. If you need color graphics then this and other games of this age will not be your cup of tea. I on the other hand had a great time playing it.

The first thing to mention is that Final Fantasy Adventure is really part of the Mana series (Secret of Mana, Legend of Mana).This is, I believe, the first game in the series with the sequel being the excellent Secret of Mana for the SNES.I suspect that the reason for the name change is simply that Square thought that the Final Fantasy name would sell more copies when released in America.This is an adventure RPG.Read more

Nice Game
This game really is a great game unless of course your not into sword fighting turnbased games. Then you should probably steer clear of this one. In my personal opinion this game is very interesting. The more battles you fight the stronger your gladiators get and the more money you get and the better stronger gladiators you can get. I really like this game. Like I said though it's not for everyone, but everyone is entitled to an opinion.

this game is terrible. since it was from lucasarts i thought is would be third person and you woulde run around and kill everyone. boy was i wrong. its turn based wich is stupid!!!!taking turns killing each other?!?!?! whoever thought that up should be shot! the screenshots on the back of the box led me to believe it was a third person hack and slash, the rating says it has blood and gore. very little blood and absolutly no gore. the story line is terrible, apperently there was a big war that just ended so to keep the peace they open up a gladiatore arena. the graphics arent the greates and the gameplay is absolutly terrible. in conclusion this game is a waste of money.

This would be a wonderful game to play no matter how old it is.
I love all the Zelda games so I am partial to giving perfect scores to this series. This was the first Zelda game I had ever played and I was caught from the first time I turned it on and went down to the shore to get my sword and start my adventure into the world of Zelda. The world is large with lots of fun areas to explore and a fun side quest that has you walking all over the world, but wanting what was at the end. I made lots of notes and ended up making a guide for it. This is a timeless game that will endear you as well.
