5-0 out of 5 stars Fun and addicting!
I like this game a lot.It has different variations that include timed games and endless games. If you have a new computer set up the better resolution and faster acceleration... you get the cool "wormhole" transition between the worlds!
4-0 out of 5 stars good
i was thrilled with the video game, but i was dissapointed with the graphics in between each stage, the rainbow worm in-between is missing after each level. i was looking forward to it.

1-0 out of 5 stars Mac Users Beware!
The product description is wrong, this is NOT OSX software. It's OS9 and can only be run in "Classic" environment.Any Mac purchased in the last two years, at least, does not come with OS9.You would need to have OS9 installed on your computer in addition to OSX.This will definitely affect the performance of the software and your machine in general.
5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for everyone!
My kids (6 and 9 years old) and I spent hours playing this game. We took turns deciding where to go, and we all helped find the hidden images.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great product
This was a great product - it is fun and educational and the graphics are great. It was such a fun product - that I purchased it first as a download but I went ahead and purchased the actual product so that I could have a CD of it forever.Buy it - you and your children will enjoy trying to find the items. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Even More! Contraptions Galore!
I played this game in Video Production every so often, and while making contraptions, I literally NEVER wanted the end-of-the-period bell to ring for at least another hour. This game has no limits to what you can create. Imagination is the tool of success!

4-0 out of 5 stars Addictive and entertaining
I first played this game on a trial basis through a game site and realized that I had to get the full version.I am glad that I did. There are a lot of different boards to play and each board becomes a bit more difficult. The good thing about this game is that if you're unable to beat the board, it eventually allows you to "give up one life" and move on to the next board. It has 5 levels of play and as I am still on the first level I assume it gets increasingly difficult in time. It's a great variation on Bejeweled but recommend it more for adults than kids younger than 10.It's very addictive and find myself playing for hours if I don't tear myself away from it. This is a great gift!

5-0 out of 5 stars So addicting
As others have made note, this is an addictive game. You line up three or more icons to change the tile color. Sounds simple until you get into the icons that have to be unfrozen, multiple tile changes, and black idol 'bombs' that can set up delays for you. The complexity of various level/boards is a challenge and you simply don't get the same game twice. Very fun and quite addictive and occassionally frustrating. Anyway you look at it, it's not a bad investment because you'll beat it, forget about it, and then try it again a few months later and get hooked again.

5-0 out of 5 stars great game

1-0 out of 5 stars They should be ashamed
This product sucks. On my Windows XP machine I can only run this program with my firewall disabled, no other programs running, and the CD in the drive. And no wonder: I bought it from Amazon in 7/06 and it hasn't been updated since 2002.It's ancient & antiquated.
1-0 out of 5 stars Scrabble Complete - Still locks up XP machines
I purchased this product in July 2006. Earlier versions were reported to lock up computers. I can report that this version thoroughly locks up 2006 vintage XP machines. 2-0 out of 5 stars This could have been a great game - with the right attitude.
It's an OK game. Not a great game, but OK. If you find it dirt cheap, it's worth the buy. $4.97 sounds about right (marked down from $49.95! What a bargain! lol).
4-0 out of 5 stars Its a good game.
I liked this game mainly because you could buy and build all types of business. The only draw back to this game is that they limet your game play from 1930 to 2000. You should be able to play until you take all your opponents money and properties. Buy this game its a whole lot of fun and will keep you busy for hours.

4-0 out of 5 stars Almost Perfect!
This tycoon game was almost perfect. In my opinion it is a upgrade of playing the board game. You get to lease and auction property from the city and build stores, apartments and make money.Time goes by really fast in years and you see a littleas far as the cars and the other way to tell is by the different type of stores available to open.Once in a while they give you a card and you either have to pay something or get money, similar to the board game.I really enjoyed it but I wish you can move on to the next level with what you have built instead of starting all over again at the new/next level. If it wasn't for that I would have graded it a 5. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Fascinating!
This is a fascinating piece of software and I love it. I can play sometimes for hours because the overall quality is really majestic. I am sure that if your computer or laptop meets the requirements you will have a great time with it.

1-0 out of 5 stars Unclear requirements
I did not know it wouldn't work off an intel graphics controller on my Dell 800 MhZ computer. It needs specific graphics controllers. It seems like it is launching then disappears. I feel I am stuck with this now. Being a technology person for the past 25 years, I believed this would be no problem to run. I was wrong.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Game!
This game is a terrific vehicle for teaching chess strategy to kids--ok, maybe adults too.My [...] and I play together and have a great time. The adventure game really holds his attention. The only drawback to the game is that the "save" command is buried in "options." This means it is very easy to exit without saving your game.Still, I recommend it highly. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars doesn't work in windows xp
i bought this game because i have an xp and my old scrabble 2 doesn't work anymore. before i bought it i read the previous reviews for the other srabble complete but figured since this one was advertized as windows xp and not windows 98/xp it would work. i was wrong. i tried three times to play and each time got a black screen. i was so frustrated that i even tried the website listed on the box and found absolutely no information there to help me. in fact, it stated that this game was coming soon and thus had no troubleshooting help to offer. this was a complete waste of money. i hope that the new game that is advertized as scrabble windows xp for 19.99 actually works. otherwise, i will be out luck again. why can't someone get a decent game that actually works for xp?? how much money do we have to waste?

3-0 out of 5 stars Bridge Baron 16 - Special Edition o.k. - not great!
I'm pretty disappointed in Bridge Baron 16-Special Edition.Biddable hands dealt are systematically in favor of the opponents.Roughly 1 out of 4 bids goes to the opponent which doesn't make it very interesting for the player always being the defensive bidder/player.Also, there are limited number of hands (500) which repeat, but how much fun is that! I understand that you can upgrade to a more costly version that has more than 500 hands.I've played Bicycle Bridge for quite a while and would say that Bridge Baron is on par with that product -- mediocre! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Good graphics, bad play
I borrowed this game from my sister and pretty much did it all in a few hours. Thus, first off, this game is short, it is a series of actions you must figure out and complete in a semi-certain order. Not a lot of room for independence or exploration. This game also is limited - it takes place on a small island with too few screens. Finally, I couldn't even finish it, because at the very end (I won't spoil!) it was basically impossible for me to be fast enough to do one of the required tasks. So I stopped and uninstalled.
3-0 out of 5 stars Tightly constructed, decently executed
Similar engine to the other Jules Verne game "Voyage", this game also places emphasis on item finding and management, offering a ton of things to search for and fiddle around with to come uup with the solutions..Unlike voyage, it seemed to make a little more sense and have a little more releveance to the plot of the game...Nice design, but not designed enough, as you finish up too soon for a proper game's value.. The little time that you do get to spend on this mysterious island does have it's upsides however, and is well worth it for the hardcore adventure gamer.

4-0 out of 5 stars Short But Worth the $$$
As many other reviewers have noted, this game is very short. However, I found it compelling, easy to navigate, and in short, a lot of fun to play.To give you some context, I was a big fan of adventure games back in the Sierra and Monkey Island days, but haven't played any in the past 5-6 years (ever since first-person gore-fests took over the world).

2-0 out of 5 stars Good Swing bad Follow Through
This game has hope of being somthing wonderful in the online gamming market. But currently bugs, and lack of customer service make this game very hard to like.

3-0 out of 5 stars A good game, but...
It just lacked a certain something.I liked the integrated voice chat with party members, the graphics and music were good.I liked the click-to-swing combat, though in conditions of high net lag, it was awful (same as any internet game really).I can't think of anything I dislike about the game, but for some reason I lost interest in it fairly quickly, and I haven't even gotten halfway to the level cap. It's probably more me than the game.Anyway, definitely worth it to try the 7 day free trial and decide for yourself.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not what I was expecting....
I have loved the D&D game for many years. I still have the origional box set that I bought. I was so happy when I learned that it was going to be an MMORPG. I picked up the game on the first day and started playing. The first few days were great. I had loads of fun and really loved the chat function. By the end of the first week I was bored out of my mind. This is a game for people who love doing the same thing over and over again. After the first week you find yourself looking for parties and doing the same quests. I quit after the first month. If you are thinking about picking up this game, see if you can't get some friends to play also. Having a ready made party will probably help. No solo content was also a reason I left. I would like to solo every now and then but near impossible in this game. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best of the series
I've played Chessmaster since the 3000 version, which was DOS based and actually my favorite before Chessmaster 9000. I've also played the latest Chessmaster 10 but didn't like it. I prefer to play computer chess in 2D, and I didn't see a selection of boards to choose from the way I can in Chessmaster 9000. Also, I consider 9000's interface to be superior to Chessmaster 10, and featurewise you've got everything you need in 9000, including tutorials and a readily accessible openning book library to reference as you play. There's also a database of thousands of games you can easily query if you enjoy studying the games of the great masters. You can also create custom opponents, but you really shouldn't need to because there are dozens of pre-made ones to choose from, from total patzers to the mighty Chessmaster, himself. Also, the game isn't a hog that requires a powerhouse computer to play on. I play it ona Pentium 3, 700MHZ, with 256MB RAM no problem. Last but not least, there's the price. You can't go wrong at 10 bucks for this great game that's the best of it's series.

5-0 out of 5 stars first class
The finally got their act together.I originally used version 5500 with good results. Then I tried a version between 5500 and 9000 and it was dismal. They subscribed to the software philosophy of switching features instead of adding features. This version 9000 has all of the features with none left out. They finally got their act together.

5-0 out of 5 stars Challenging and Exciting Chess
Chessmaster 9000 is a nice improvement on Chessmaster 7000, the version I previously owned. The graphics are better, there are a few more nice features.Overall it is an excellent product. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Why no saving of the settings
My biggest grips with this game is not the cheating by playing out-of-turn - it is the fact that you cannot save the settings for another time.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game!!!!
great game.....its really fun to play this game with other people on Gamespy...because you can meet people from other parts of the world who love to play the same game as you do.....its a must buy...Bought it for 11 dollars tho...just don't play with the PC alone....that's boring no matter how the game creator made it....

2-0 out of 5 stars this game cheats
While this game is top of the line fun when playing other people, I'd have to recommend not playing against the computer. While playing the AI, my friends and I have noticed that the game cheats incessantly. The game allows the AI to build on your turn, but you cannot build on theirs, It almost never lands on my property, but I land on it's almost every go-around. the game allows the CPU to buy land (both for sale and on auction) even though it has NO cash and it offers outrageous trades. For example: I offered to trade the computer property for property giving us both monopolies. It countered by asking for ALL of my properties, save the one monopoly I was trying to get, like 8 in all and over $750 for the one property I wanted. It does this throughout the entire game making trading impossible and the game rendered impossible to beat if it allows no one to aquire a monopoly. The voices on the game get very annoying after a few minutes and the camera angles could use help. But in a multiplayer game it is much more fun, utilizing fully customizable gameplay options and different boards to play on... it's worth it if you have someone to play with. If not... look elsewhere ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Code is on the Jewel case
Registration code is on the jewel case; demo versions of the game are at www.argongame/download
1-0 out of 5 stars ...Wish I could PLAY the game!!!
Bought the game, installed it, and TRIED to launch it!!! It asked me for a registration code (no problem THERE, I thought!). When I tried to FIND the code, I looked 1) on the box, 2) on the CD, 3) on the CD jewel case, and 4) through the 8 pages of the jewel case insert, but could find nothing! 5-0 out of 5 stars What They Say?
Private Moon Studios is a team of seven Hungarian developers who have done a remarkable job of building a very professional game. Agon is a far cut above what one might expect from such a small group. The environments are beautifully rendered, with an attention to detail. The voice-overs are professionally done, with original music and a host of ambient sounds. (Just Adventure)

4-0 out of 5 stars Quite Addicting
Even though this is a very old game, it is quite addicting to play. The animations are fun to watch and the additional territories are much needed improvements to classic risk to open up the map more (Risk 2210 has similar options).Same-time risk allows all attacks to happen at once and is a unique concept that is quite fun as it balances out the game more by not giving the starting player a huge advantage. Now my gripes are that network games require 3 players and you cannot add computer players. This should have been something easily implemented that is missing. Also, I hear online play support no longer exists which isn't a big deal as I don't play online. The tournament mode is fun as well with 16 increasingly difficult levels to complete and what I enjoy the most about the game. Some people have mentioned that it is annoying that if you lose at any time in the tournament, you have to start over from the very beginning. This is true, although there is a trick which is to backup the tourn.cfg file every time you beat a level. If you lose, just restore your backup and you're good to go from the beginning of the mission you were at.I cannot tell you how much that improved the experience of the game after I figured that out after playing the first 5 levels over again 3-4 times as I was stuck on level 6.So, if you are playing it for single player, it is quite fun granted that you backup your tournament files.Hot-seat is fun for multiple players on the same computer only because you can add computer players in addition to having human players. It just doesn't make sense why they didn't implement the same for network games so you don't need to crowd everyone around one monitor.

1-0 out of 5 stars About as fun to play as it is to download
The first few times, sure the game was kinda fun, giving a refreshing feel to the good ol' risk game. But after a few times of playing against the various 'a.i.' or number generators, i began to realize that the 'skill' of the pc wasn't based on their tactics as a leader, but on the amount of dice roles they'll win. If thats what passes for an impressive 'a.i' then its a wonder that the programer can even type his name into a computer, let alone be able to write any sort of respectable tactical program. Also the pc players will go out of thier ways to attack the player, often completely avoiding breaking up other pc's continents or picking a player's strong point over a pc's weak point. This is a cheaply designed knock off of risk and doesn't deserve to hold the same name. (and i'd like to run into the a.i. programer in a dark alley someday)

2-0 out of 5 stars little dissapointed
if you're a risk fan you'll like this game, but i'm not sure how much better it is than the many free versions of the game available around the net. some cool features, but no online play, which is ridiculous with a game like this. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Pleased with product
I am enjoying the games, but am not familiar with all of them. There were no game rules/instructions with a few of them, so am trying to figure them out. I recommend the game pack overall.

5-0 out of 5 stars Happy with the games
Having these games on my iPAQ makes the drive to school much more fun for my 11 year-old son.

3-0 out of 5 stars Expected just a bit more from Microsoft for the Money
For the amount of money to get these particular 10 games, all of which either turned up as a game that shipped with one or more versions of windows and a few others that were in previous Entertainment Paks for Windows, 10 games that required little additional programming to port to the new Pocket PC platform wasbit for a disappointment for the money. On the other hand, these are the games that many of us who work with a desktop or laptop at other times are familiar with, and most are easy to play in a screen where control of the on-screen activity is mostly a stylus or entering words. There are a number of games from previous entertainment paks that could have been ported and included and were not. That was disappointing, as it would be nice to change out these 8-10 games to keep something 'fresh' to do while waiting in lines, for a table in a restaurant or in a doctor's office. You can only play solitaire for so long and not get really bored. ...
