4-0 out of 5 stars Easier than many alternatives
I was using a basic Linksys wireless game adapter with my 360, and it worked fine. However, it needed to be connected to a PC for firmware updates (making it impossible for Mac users), and was generally more difficult to set up than the "official" adapter from Microsoft.
4-0 out of 5 stars network adaptor
i love having the wireless network adapter, but i was truely pissed when i saw it cost 99.99. Microsoft just trying to rip you off for something you basically have to own.

4-0 out of 5 stars Preaching to the choir
Well, I must say after purchasing the Linksys WGA11B Wireless-B Game Adapter that while yes this adapter is overpriced, it does work and considering that I only got the Linksys adapter to work once and then it shut down in the middle of an update I must say the price looked worth it.

1-0 out of 5 stars Now I need a new XBOX.
DOn't buy this - it will crash your entire xbox.Learn to play - forget the cheats.

5-0 out of 5 stars Xbox? Forget about the brick...
I could care less what it does for the original Xbox--what I'm into is the memory card reader that allows you to transfer Xbox save files over to Xbox 360. Now I won't have to start Halo all over!

5-0 out of 5 stars OMG THIS PWNS!!! 1337UBER HAXXORZ!!! :-)
in halo 2, if you make jump videos like me or like to make movies overall in halo 2, you can make the game hudless...HUDLESS!!!! so you don't have to do the oddball trick any more and can keep jumping and filming with a clean result. I hate cheaters and wish all of them could just be blown off of the face of the earth but making my games hudless is the the whole reason i'm buying. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars No Mech Assault Included
I just bought this from CompUSA and had the WORST service. Mech Assault was NOT included as stated on Amazon. Project Gotham Racing 2 is included and CompUSA claimed it was not their fault that the description was incorrect and they could send me a postage-paid return label and send me out another XBox Live but with Crimson Skies instead but they would not waive the shipping of $5 even though I already paid for shipping once when I rec'd the incorrect XBox Live. Amazon resolved the issue, but I will never buy from CompUSA again.

5-0 out of 5 stars Truly Fab-A kids reveiw
I have ordered this item the other day, but I am reveiwing it because my friend has this and it is amazing. No wonder everybody gabs about it. It is so well thought out. For example, voice communication: you can talk to friends, plan out stuff and lots more. There is nobody who wins because of a fast connection to the net, it pauses the game when one person starts to lagg. There is all kinds of stuff, and it is great value! It is cheaper per year than runescape members, and is a whole lot better value! Kudos off to microsoft

5-0 out of 5 stars expensive, but worth it
this service is expensive, even for the included headset and game, but it is worth it. it really makes all the games you played by yourself a lot more fun. especially if your friends have the same games. you can create matches and play with and against your friends. many games have a matchmaking service, so that if your friends arent playing at the time, you can still play online with others.

3-0 out of 5 stars Warranty info is bogus
I got the box with the styrofoam inside broken and the 10 year part of the warrany crossed out by a marker.Inside the owners manual, it says it only has a 90 day limited warranty, and that is only valid if you register within 5 days of purchase.I don't know what is going on, but there is a hell of a big difference between 10 years and 90 days.Plus, if it takes 3 days to get to me, I would only have 1 or 2 days to register for it to even be valid. Sound is average if you own a serious home theater already. Better than tv speakers, but I would have looked longer if I knew I was going to be jammed on the warranty.Refurb ones have the same warranty for $50 less from their sister company, athena technologies.

5-0 out of 5 stars ASTOUNDING SOUND QUALITY AND VALUE
I actually do not own a XBOX.I want a SMALL surround sound system for my living room and I don't want too many bulky electronics.I decided to for for Spherex based on many raved reviews. The satellite speakers are based on the highly-regarded Omnipolar technology developed by Mirage system.
4-0 out of 5 stars Had everything I need ... however
Ok, to start off I'm not an audiophile. I have used and dived into tens, if not hundreds, of audio and video devices and systems. I get to know what I buy and don't stop at just getting a component to work.

3-0 out of 5 stars Only Shadows of Dance Dance Revolution
While the step sequences in this game certainly ascend into impossibility at extreme difficulty, that is the only feature for which I could fathom someone buying this game.
4-0 out of 5 stars Misses the point slightly, but still an excellent game
This is basically Dance Dance Revolution, and therefore it's basically awesome. If you want to learn about the general qualities of this game, then read a review for one of the many versions of that one.

Buyer beware. The photo of this product shows a microphone and states it comes with a case and manual. My son order this and got a scratched disk in an envelope. No CASE, No Manual, and no microphone.Try to find someone to contact on the Amazon home page.Go Ahead I dare you.I will never purchase anything from Amazon again.

5-0 out of 5 stars Who cares about the game
This is one of the worst games ever released for xbox, but thats not the point, the point to buy this game is that its the only way to transfer music and videos to you xbox without hacking it. So this is definately a primo choice for only 9 bucks. So if you want to transfer files to your xbox this is your one and only choice w/ out voiding your warrenty. Definate a worthy buy.

1-0 out of 5 stars What a POS, do NOT waste your time
I was hoping to find a simple way to play mp3s across a network on the xbox. This product looked promising. I realized that it would not stream the music from a share but rather require importing, however I thought I would give it a try.

4-0 out of 5 stars Versatile and cheap, yets lacks 5.1 optical for XBOX
A huge oversight, probably done to reduce cost is the lack of Digital Optical out for the XBOX on these cables.Unlike the PS2 which has its own output for the Digital Optical Cable to support DTS and true Dolby Digital, the XBOX does not.The MS official HDAV pack provides that output and even a few 3rd party knock offs have it as well.Obviously a flaw in the console design of the XBOX 1, this is only exacerbated by the fact that the MS official HDAV pack is now a rare item that fetches huge prices on ebay for such a trivial function.
4-0 out of 5 stars Not enough component jacks or money?Get this.
I have a Sony HD TV and bought this cable for the unbelievable price of less than 10 dollars. And the video is splendid.I did side-by-side comparisons with it and the standard cable and the difference was terrific.I have a Gamecube with the Nintendo-made component cable, and I compare the video output of that to the Madcatz cable and there is no difference. This applies toboth PS2 and Xbox, as the cable works with both.ONE COMPLAINT: You can't have both systems connected at the same time, or else the audio will not work when you play PS2 games. The Xbox is unaffected by this, but this means that whenever I want to play my PS2, I have to take the cable out of the Xbox.If this sounds like something you're unwilling to do, don't buy this cable. But since my TV only has holes for 2 sets of component cables, I find this to be MUCH easier than having an independent set of cables for each console and constantly removing them all when I decide I want to play Halo followed by Katamari Damacy.Bottom Line: best set of cables for the money. If you have a PS2 and an Xbox but not a lot of component jacks, this is for you.

1-0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed
Madcatz is usually a pretty reliable brand as far as accessories for video game consoles go, but they've let me down this time. This component cable set appears to be well manufactured, but is a little thin as far as the wire gauge goes and the output to my TV shimmers and wavers constantly.Output is bad for both games and DVDs -- I don't know how anyone can buy these cables and use them.In fact my Intec S-Video cable looks much better and it's constucted of higher gauge wiring.I can't see spending the ridiculously overpriced $50-$80 for "ultra-premium" offerings from Monster Cable or like brands, guess some middle ground has to be found from the high rated Sony or likely more reliable Intec brand. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Same problem as most people with the thing!
DO Not Buy!!!!!!!
1-0 out of 5 stars Not Reliable
This review is for the Ignition 3.0 pad. Being new to DDR I thought I was just really bad at hitting the down arrow. Wrong. The pad was bad almost right away and steadily has gotten worse. Now when I have the pad plugged in and start up a DDR game the menus are cycling like crazy and I can't get the game started. Too bad I didn't realize the problem was the pad and not me before the 60 day warranty ran out. Now I am looking for a new pad, but I am not going with Red Octane again.

1-0 out of 5 stars Complete Waste of Money
I got the Ignition 3.0 this afternoon and thought it was great.I was getting high scores and the pad was responding really well. But then I tried it later in the same day and the sensors had already shifted down and the arrows stopped responding. There's no way to fix it and I'm going to try to return it tomorrow. It's unbelievable that this product only lasted a few hours. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Nice Design, poor implementation. Really bad reception.
I bought these controllers because I thought I would save myself some $. It was about $40 for both when I could get another brand for $40 for a single controller. The design [form-factor], and are a bit smaller than the standard controller. I don't like the placement of the back and start button. Also vibration is really, really weak compared to the standard type-S controller. My biggest vice is that the controller's lose their connection all the time, which is really annoying when playing because you mess up all the time in the game just because the controller goids out.

3-0 out of 5 stars Decent Controllers, Good Price
I bought these because they came with two wireless XBOX controllers for about the same price as you could get a new XBOX brand controller with a wire. They are okay for the average gamer, but lack at times. One of the controllers that came in the pack I got has a very insensitive left thumb stick. When playing Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, there are two speeds: run and not run. This is very frustrating when trying to sneak up on someone. The other controller works alright. A cool feature is that the controllers go to sleep after 2 minutes of inactivity. That saves some battery power. The controllers are nice and compact, and the buttons are all positioned in good places. I recommend these for someone looking for a decent, cheap pair of wireless controllers, but not someone looking for a precision controller for serious gaming. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The headset makes all the difference!
The headset makes all the difference in Halo 2 teams. Being able to talk to your team mates and tell them where the enemy is, is half the battle. This headset is comfortable and I have nad no problems with it. The only time it is uncomfortable is after 4 hours of play straight. After 4 hours anything is uncomfortable.

5-0 out of 5 stars great for the price!!!!!!!!!!
the gamecom is the best.. this item sits perfectly in your ear. the other headsets fall off your head and make your ear red. overall this is the one to get. i have too i use one and i have one for backup. trust me its really good.

1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible
By far the worst headset I have ever used. The earpiece design is EXTREMELY uncomfortable, I can only have it in my ear for a few minutes before the pain becomes to intense. The actual microphone itself is way too sensitive, it picks up the sound from the slightest motion of your head. If you hate those people that breathe into their mics during games, stay away.
3-0 out of 5 stars Decent....
