5-0 out of 5 stars Big hit with my 3 sons
Each of my 3 sons--ages 12, 10 and 5 have spent quite a bit of time playing this game.Even with the age difference, they all can enjoy different stages.Great product for price paid.

5-0 out of 5 stars cool vidio game
this game is fun. it is also challenging. if you use this tip, you will have an easier time winning your battles. while it says let it rip, after you put your ripcord in, hold the A button for a little while longer, but make sure you let go of the A button before it finishes saying let it rip. at first, don't go to the playground, go the other way, to a different building. there you will find Ray, and he will help you practice your launching talents, and he is very helpful.

4-0 out of 5 stars better,way better!!

5-0 out of 5 stars VERY-VERY Nice game!!
This is a fun casino game.It doesn't come with horse racing, as someone else already mentioned.Craps, Blackjack, and Roulette: These are the "table" games on the cartridge.I don't think these games could be any better for a portable. The graphics are pretty nice, betting is easy, and the game moves along at a nice pace.Poker and Keno:These are video games, and play fairly similar to what you find in a casino. They are a little slow, because when you win, they scroll up, and down to show you the payouts and what combination you hit.Gets a little old after a while, but you get used to it.Slots: 3 bizarre slot machines. It would have been more fun if they had gotten permission to copy double diamonds, or ballon bars from IGT or some other slot manuf.I don't like slots in a casino, so I rarely play these. They do work, and payout from time to time.Overall, I'd say this is one of the better games for the GBA.

4-0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable Game
I just got this game to take on a long car ride with me, and it's great. It's just like playing in the real casinos, i don't know how you could have a bad review.I guess just maybe expecting they are expecting too much out of a very cheap game...

2-0 out of 5 stars Could have been better
I tried this game, and it makes the Game Gear Version look a whole lot better. In the GG version, you actually walk around the casino to the different games. You go to the ATM for money. and there is Video Horse Racing. I am glad i picked up the GG version at [the store] than wasting my money on the GBA version. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Value
This game is great for all ages.It has a great learning curve that allows experienced gamers to get right in and lets beginners learn the ropes. It has tons of levels and they get harder and harder as you go.The only problem is that some of the levels are really hard and may require a lot of thinking.

3-0 out of 5 stars come down
this goes to the person who called this game stupid in capital letter, come down its not that bad, sure its pointless but still can entertain allot of hearts. its a bit too easy but some of the game is challenging. i also have to give props to the length. its pretty long. not your money worth but okay if your new to the sp this is the game for you.holla(dont knock the game its still pretty fun)

5-0 out of 5 stars I LOVE ED, EDD n EDDY

5-0 out of 5 stars What the game doctor ordered
I used to be a nintendo person until it became old. A gameboy advanceSP was bought soon afterwards, but I only had 1 game. I searched for the perfect game, however there was always a problem with them. I just happened to read my brother's magazine out of boredome and found this game. Reading about the game I found out it was a Mario party based game and purchased it 3 days after it came out. My old nintendo joy lived once more! It is alot like Mario party with different characters. It's mini-games are playable on a different setting and you don't have to earn them beforehand. I don't own a link cable for SP, but with this game you can play multiplayer on just 1 system! Some boards are easy to win,but others aren't. I recommend the first 2 levels for those who don't want their heart broken. The computer chooses it's character depending on who you pick(ex:Courage always vs Eddy, reverse.) The boards are shorter, and the mini-game is based on the board. You don't have to have 4 players either. Here are mini-game tips.

4-0 out of 5 stars Interesting Arcade/Puzzle mix
Ever since I bought this game, I've barely set it down. It's a highly addictive arcade-platformer with quite a bit of puzzle strategies integrated with the gameplay. The game's 100+ levels (yes, there are that many when you count all the difficulty levels) range from simple jumping-and-climbing rooms to enormous chambers where one badly-timed movement could mean game over. The game takes several recognizable elements from the classic Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. arcade games, including climbing up and swinging between ropes to knock items down and climbing ladders and moving platforms while jumping over incoming barrels. It also introduces some new concepts, such as leading a troop of half a dozen half-size Marios past enemies and obstacles into a toybox.
4-0 out of 5 stars Addicting but sometimes hard
This is a very addicting game, especially in the first few levels where you can pretty much breeze through them. However, near the end of the game, I have encountered problems to the point where I just gave up, figuring the frustration wasn't worth it. Some of the music is good, some not so good. I also encountered occasional problems with controlling Mario. Overall, I would say this game is quite good. I just wish it was a little bit easier near the end.

4-0 out of 5 stars "Come here you big monkey!"
This is a revamped game concept from the somewhat known gameboy game "Donkey Kong(1994, not the original)".This game was an amazing game at the time to me.There's a puzzles in each level kind of and you have the chase Donkey Kong down. I forgot the storyline in the original 1994 game.I've always borrowed it from some friends about ten years ago.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very addicting!
I purchased this game for my 5 year old daughter. She loves to play it if her daddy stops playing long enough to let her have a turn! My 8 year old loves it as well. This game is lots of fun and very addicting!

4-0 out of 5 stars Very bad, but good sides too
Well, Super Monkey ball Jr. has lots of flaws. For one, the levels are much more difficult and the control is terrible, which makes it slow. The graphics are mainly 3-D but still low difintion 3-D. But the minigames are much easier. Since you are "slower", and the level is much more close up. I'll wirte the rest of the review tonight.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best GBA titles
Monkeyball Jr. has all the fun & addictiveness of the console versions - just abbreviated a little. I just wished the makers would of added monkey target to the mix (my favourite mini-game)other than that, it is by far one of the best titles GBA has to offer. No more has to said about this one....Go Get It!!! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Gameplay/Dice Rolling Is Too Slow
I read all the reviews on Amazon and decided to get the game anyway because it was cheap. Overall, the slowness of the gameplay makes the game unplayable. Every time you roll the dice the screen animates to follow the dice rolling, moves back to your gamepiece, and then follows it as it moves to each spot (10-12 seconds). Playing the game in person or on other systems (Gameboy, PC), dice rolling takes around 5 seconds. That sounds pretty picky to break it down by the second but just imagine a normal game of Monopoly taking twice as long because of dice rolling. That's what you get with this game.
5-0 out of 5 stars Fun game to play on your own
Great price for a classic game. Easy to use/learn. You won't find some amazing graphics on it that you would expect from some games contemporary but you don't need them since this is a board game. It gaves you a cool break when playing some other more addivtive games that take more time to finish.

3-0 out of 5 stars Too confusing to finish one game
I have tried for HOURS to completely finish 1 SINGLE GAME. I have tried to trade more than once, and NOTHING HAPPENS. After trying to trade, i get frusterated, and don't feel like playing anymore. If I didn't have to deal with that, this game would be easier. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Donkey Kong
I loved this game as a kid, that is why I got it. Things aren't always what we remember but overall I do like it. I agree... even w/ the missing level it is fun. It is a game people... let's not harp over it. Good game to go back to and be a kid again!

2-0 out of 5 stars It does not have all the levels

5-0 out of 5 stars Very fun!
This game is great. Even though it's missing 1 level, who cares! Our kids won't care because they were not born in the 70's. It's pretty addicting, for a while. The object of the game is to save Mario/Jumpman's girlfriend by jumping over barrels, climbing ladders and more. The 1st level is classic. The 2nd level is challenging. The 3rd level is where you defeat Donkey Kong and do a harder mode. It's pretty fun though. But it's only worth $5.00. They should have cartidges for $2.00 of all the classic games:Pac man,Ms Pac Man,Galaga, etc. I'd reccomdend buying this game. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars NES the Beginning of Super Mario Bros. Adventures.
Playing this game on the game boy advance brings backmemeries of the first time Super Mario Bros. was released in 1985 for the nintendo entertainment system. This remake of the original game has all the original sounds and music from the cool classic game. It would be nice if the other classic Super Mario Bros.(Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3 from nes)were released for game boy advance so that we all can relive the cool experience of thoes original nintendo games too.

5-0 out of 5 stars awsome game
this is the best gameboy game in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could play this all day

4-0 out of 5 stars A pretty good remake of the NES classic
"Super Mario Bros." is a 2D platformer in which gamers guide a plumber named Mario (or Luigi) through 8 levels in an effort to rescue the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom who is being held captive somewhere in a castle. It is a pretty good game which is sure to provide hours of enjoyment for new fans as well as anyone who may have enjoyed the NES original.

5-0 out of 5 stars oh my gosh!!!!!!
wow this is such a great game. it has nine classic games that are great to play over and over again. this summer we went to a far away place and this game kept me entertained. i hardly notice the time passing. its great travel game. even my brother likes some of the games. i tell you, this was the best 30 dollars i ever spent. my parents also agree and approve that this is a great and fun game for girls or boys.

2-0 out of 5 stars borrrrringgggggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!
this is just classic games like memory, tick tac toe , and connect but it made so it is all barbie like it is really meant for young kids and i really disliked it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Barbie Groovy Games
Barbie Groovy Games is a very entertaining game, but it gets boring after a while.First of all, I would have to say that this game is centered on young girls, as do most Barbie games. The graphics definitely present a girly theme. But, this is not your average Barbie game. There is no designing of Barbie's wardrobe invovlved. This is not another poor excuse for an action game where you have to manuver Barbie around with limited skills to use. This is a collection of fun mini-games to play by yourself or with a friend.

If you liked solving riddles in the I Spy books, you'll love all the fun in this video game! There are 4 games that are extremely fun, but entirely educational! Some reading is required.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great for all ages
This game is great no matter how old or young you may be! This is the first game that my 4 year old didn't become disgusted with in mere seconds - although he did need help reading the riddles in the Riddle Round-up. I even became addicted myself with the Match Attack. My 6 year old enjoys the game as well - we ran down his battery playing it the very first day!
4-0 out of 5 stars Fun for parents who can't handle the hard kid games!
I bought this for myself. At 33 I've never mastered the multi tasking of complex video games. I enjoyed this game, almost to the point of it relaxed me (like knitting-just kidding). But, I must say, I did beat the game quicker than I thought. I've topped out already, it needs to be just a bit harder. I'd say this game is better for the younger kids, or for adults. 5-0 out of 5 stars This is one of the best games in the world
Remember the time when walking into the arcades in the mid-late 80's were a blast?First to witness a strange side scrolling game called Double Dragon? This was the very first side scroller in the arcades that called out to me.It was an awesome game.
5-0 out of 5 stars All Negative Reviews Were Written By Sub-Par Players
I was quite unnerved by the negative reviews on this game. Nonetheless, my love for Double Dragon prevailed and I acquired it. I found all the negative reviews to be criminally false.
3-0 out of 5 stars I'm not really sure about this GBA version.
Don't get me wrong. I LOVE Double Dragon! But this GBA version is a blessing and a curse. Double Dragon is commonly referred to as the first side-scrolling beat-em-up. It's not, there were a couple of minor hits before it, but it sure is the best that has ever dominated our arcades.

5-0 out of 5 stars The new Tetris Attack.
I love puzzle games. If there's any one genre I like above all, it'd have to be the puzzle genre. Sure, there's a lot of bad ones out there that never get anywhere, but so many of them stand the test of time, and are still played today. Tetris, Bust-a-Move, Tetris Attack, Chu Chu Rocket, Puyo Pop, and even It's Mr. Pants are all played by many, and continue with new releases that people still buy. Who knew that a game with a bunch of blocks falling around would go on to be the best selling game of all time? But in comes the new kid on the block: Puzzle Fighter. While it's a port of the PSone version, it's still fun and addictive. It does have a minor problem that would have me reduce the score to 4.5 stars if I could, but it's just so damn fun that I can't resist the 5 star rating.
5-0 out of 5 stars Consider the technology involved
Loved it on the PS1, love it here. There are some reviews out there that knock the port for its lower quality music. I say consider the technology involved. Do you really think you can get CD quality music that spans over 500 MB on an original PS1 CD (still more than a cartridge can hold if the music is compressed) in a 5 to 30 MB cartridge? If you think you can without sacrificing sound quality or the quality of the game itself then yes, there is a Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny does poop out painted chicken eggs to celebrate the ressurrection of the Christ.

5-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Stunning Value
Many reviewers have already wrote about the numerous games included in this amazing little cartridge, so I will not do a rehash.I just wanted to mention how this cart takes you on a journey into your younger days (if you are 30+) and can even change longlasting memories that you had.I am referring to Dragster, which I hated as a kid because I did not understand it.When I began playing it again on this cart, I still had problems...until I read the full directions (scanned into this cart).I am now hooked on this game and have played it for at least a few hours.I am sort of obsessed with getting the patch. You need a time of under 6.00 seconds and I have gotten it down to 6.01, so I am close. When I do finally get this magical score and earn the scan of the patch, i will truly feel I have earned it. Which is exactly the same feeling I had over two decades ago.Just amazing. Please note that the scores needed for the patches in the PS2 version were raised to make it easier, so you do not get a real feeling of accomplishment on that version that you do on this one.
5-0 out of 5 stars SO FUN!!!!!!!!!
This game is the best ever!! You can earn patches for certain games and play classic 1980's type games! The only thing that isn't so good about it is the graphics, which aren't quite all that great. But this game is still a blast and I love it!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars great game for small children
I purchased this game and the gameboy 99 in one cartridge for my small child and they are great. The games are easy enough to play without them feeling like they are "babies"...they give enough of a challenger...I would purchase it again.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for a new gamer
My daughter received this for her 7th birthday as well as Barbie, and Kim Possible. These were her first games/game boy experiences. She tried Barbie 1x and hated it, she plays Kim Possible sometimes but gets frustrated. This Dora game she adores and plays every day even though she has mastered it. Her little brother is also learning with this game and loves it too. He has requested his own GBA because of how much he likes the Dora game. It's not too hard for the little ones or new gamers but still keeps things interesting. I highly recommend this game to any young gamer.

So I brought my gameboy with me to work (not quite with me, I left it in the car cause it'd would get RUINED at my job!) and then lunch break comes along and there is one thing on my mind, f'ing FIRE FIGHT (THERE WAS A FIRE FIGHHHHHTTTT!!!).Instead of blowing my limited funds on Taco Bell or eating some crappy sandwich I made the night before, I spent 50 minutes (lunch breaks are only supposed to be 30 minutes) playing Fire Fight in my car and ladies and gentlemen, it was... AWESOME!I have never been more involved in a game, IN MY LIFE.I'm saying I was hooting and hollering as I played this, on time I was sure one of those little dudes were going to burn my fort, but I bonked him on the head in the nick of time and I freaked out!I felt good, real good.Classic Fire Fight, is quite an expierence.Anyways, this game is awesome, besides having all the good stuff you can get a ton of classic games, the only bummer is your going to have to work hard to get it.160 stars is in all actuality 32,000 points (and only up to 4,000 points per game) I'm no mathematician, but (these are based on your high scores alone mind you, they are not cumulative) at two points a pop for every sort of task you do, it's going to take a long time to get all the games. That's a bummer and Octopus is THE HARDEST MOST FRUSTERATING game ever invented.I've almost smashed that damn gameboy into pieces over that game! It's a keeper through and through!

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent, Worth It, and Old School Fun!
Oh man, does this take me back. I loved Game & Watch games. We'd play them until the battery would run out, and sadly, that's when we stopped playing the game (I think we were too lazy to figure out how to change the battery).
4-0 out of 5 stars GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MARIO!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Three Vikings get kidnapped by aliens and it's your job to help them escape..what's not to like?
Now I have to be honest here, and tell you all that I had never even heard about this game until I started to see reviews and "Greatest gba games of all times" awards on sites like GameSpy and IGN.
5-0 out of 5 stars Fun and challenging
These are not the best graphics in the world, although they are sharp and colorful. The concept is a bit silly. And, it is the most entertaining and challenging video game I ever played.4-0 out of 5 stars A Great Game
The Lost Vikings is a very fun game, and I would definatley recommend it. However, the levels get increasingly harder and require lots of patience and persevearence. It is still lots of fun, as the characters often make jokes and each level is unique. ... Read more
