5-0 out of 5 stars A Really GoodDancing Game
DDR Max 2 is enjoyable in many different ways. There are different levels from simple to difficult so that anyone can be a part of it.You can pick different songs for different styles or tastes. Controls are easy to learn and get use to.
5-0 out of 5 stars DDR - Not the Deutsche Demokratisches Republik
I love the DDR games. They're tons of fun and get me up off my butt. They're also a lot of fun with parties. Some of the DDR games are better liked than others, but they are all worth having.

5-0 out of 5 stars this game is off da chain!!!!!
i just recently brought ordered this game because no store had it only ddr extreme and ddr extreme2 and compared to the ddr-extremes this game is 1,000,000 times better because i also have ddr extreme and i felt like throwing it away after playing this one and also the levels are actually challenging unlike ddr extreme 1 & 2 so if you don't have diz game plz go get it!!!! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Just plain fun
We ordered this game because we had played the demo on another disc, and we thought it was funny. It has been a joy to play and lots of fun. My two sons have enjoyed it inmensely. Non violent, no bloody scenes, no fights, the game is just fun for anyone. I have even played it a couple of times and it seems like the kind of game to enjoy after a stressful day. I recommend it.

5-0 out of 5 stars You'll never get tired of this game!
This game is mysteriously hilarious and always fun to play. You don't exactly "finish" it, like other video games, but are always trying to beat your fastest time, so it doesn't get old as fast. As a matter of fact, we wore out our last copy and this is our second.
5-0 out of 5 stars Katamari love!
Our whole family plays this game! We fell in love with the first Katamari game, but it was frustrating trying to complete each subsequently harder level. This game isn't like that. Each level is different in its own right. Some levels require you to roll faster, some bigger, some of them you have to gather as many of a certain item as you can find.It is challenging without the frustration. You can always go back and try to do better on each level, find the cousin or the present that is hidden...or you can continue on.There is a two player mode also. It's much more fun than the first Katamari.Of course if you don't know the premise of the first game you might not understand the king's and the common peoples' rantings...but it's simple enough.Roll around and get big with your sticky ball. It's addictive! ... I have all the "Grand Theft" games and this is one of my favs.I highly recommend it and all the others.I recently purchased "Liberty City" Awesome!

5-0 out of 5 stars A great way to release stress!!!
The best way to play this game is to skip the missions and just start havoc in the city.Fight the gangs and police, attack the citizens and steal cars!!If you are able to find some of the cheat codes off the Internet, then this is where the fun really begins! These secrets can give you armor, weapons and even a tank (this is only listing a few)!As always parents, research a video game before you buy it for your 7 year old.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Workout
Coming from a beginner's point of view, this game can be little overwhelming at first. It's a GREAT workout, however my daughters and I would HIGHLY recommend if you have never done DDR before, you should go through the Lesson Mode before trying the Gaming Mode, otherwise you'll be completely lost.Once you have mastered the Lesson Mode, doing the Games is FUN!This game keeps kids' interest, yet is challenging for adults as well.

5-0 out of 5 stars Years after its release, still a worthy purchase
I picked this game up for some variety after starting with DDR Max2 and DDR Extreme. While DDR Max 2 is still my all-time favorite (I own Flow, Pump It Up, Into the Groove, DDR Max 1 and 2, DDR Extreme 1 and 2), this game places second in my book.
5-0 out of 5 stars A Christmas Highlight
My daughter received this game for Christmas and it has become one of her most played games. The workout mode is great for me also.Everyone in the family, all ages have been playing it together.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Atari real games
Wow, when I start the PS2 with this game is just amazing remember about a lot years ago when I play on Atari console, the execution of the games are full screen, and I bonus you'll find the real cartdriges images like was Atari old cassettes, machines and included a video from the creator of Atari. If you want to play again the Atari's games you have to get this. I bought here at amazon.com and in just 2 days can play.

2-0 out of 5 stars Rose-colored glasses for some, rose colored stop light for me.
The Atari 2600 was a great system. Atari was a great company, almost unquestionably the most important in turning video games into commonplace items. There are some games for the Atari 2600 that, true to their old school arcade roots, are all about challenging, addicting game play. Atari developed very few of these. This could have been a great collection if they had also snatched up the rights to excellent third party games like Reactor and Solar Fox, but instead you're mainly left wondering where those nostalgic feelings for Circus Atari came from. Two Stars, one for the Swordquest comic, and the second because Tempest is still incredible. Go buy the Activision collection instead.

5-0 out of 5 stars 85 games that began a revolution!
Amazing ! Wonderful! You got to buy this game. 18 classic arcade games like Centipede, Asteriods, and more. And 67 Atari 2600 games with classic games like Millipede ( this game is also from the arcade version also like Centipede,Astroids, their also in the home version too!) this game is awsome! 3-0 out of 5 stars Good game, but could be improved.
The main reason i bought this game is cause of the fact that it has "Sticky Tetris," which is basically like how "The Next Tetris" from Playstation 1 is; i love this kind of Tetris style. However, i was a bit dissapointed in the multiplayer battles. You can win easily depending on what difficulty you choose. When you make cascades, the opponents' field does not spin, or twist. It's not much of a challange. The story they added for this game doesn't make the game anymore exciting. Though, it was interesting trying out all the other different styles they had come out for Tetris. Overall, it's a fair game.

1-0 out of 5 stars Worst version of Tetris ever!
This game was a huge disappointment. I actually GAVE my copy away. There is definitely a lack of high quality puzzle games for PS2.
2-0 out of 5 stars Creative ideas; poor game
Tetris Worlds (for any system) is just one of those games where coming up with a lot of interesting ideas seemed to outweigh the importance of developing a decent, fun, solid game. If you're expecting another Tetris for the NES, Game Boy, or SNES, then you may be gravely disappointed, because Tetris Worlds is nothing of the sort. If there's anything praiseworthy to be said about Tetris Worlds, it's that it gives you some really nice environments (or should we just call them "worlds") at which to stare as you strive to fulfill some hopeless goal. This aspect of the game is not particularly enticing, because it restricts you to a one-to-one correspondence with the type of Tetris game you are playing. For instance, regular Tetris gives a forest world; cascade Tetris gives you a water world; square Tetris gives you a rocky world; sticky Tetris gives you a volcano world; fusion Tetris gives you a crystal world; and hot-line Tetris gives you a space/sky world. Let's say you want to customize your options so that you can play regular Tetris at the water level, or cascade Tetris at the volcano level, etc., the game offers no such options (unlike the GBA version of this game).

1-0 out of 5 stars A huge step backwards
It's not every day that I advocate video games becoming more derivative, but in the case of "Jeopardy!", I'll make an exception.
5-0 out of 5 stars I hope they put out another one soon
Overall, this game is a lot of fun. The only complaint I have with it is (as another reviewer mentioned) there have been instances where I typed in a correct response and it was judged as incorrect by the game. An example would be typing in "Thames River" and the game just wants you to type in "Thames"... irritating to say the least. That said, I have played the game numerous times and it's only happened to me maybe twice. I'm ready for version 2!

3-0 out of 5 stars just like the show
youll do about as good here as on the show.that is until you get the same old questions over and over again.theres a part where you and the others compete for the right to answer first.thats a pain in the butt.the other thing that stinks is that they make you spell everything right.there is a loose spelling option butits useless. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Classic old-school at it's finest
Mega Man might be old, but he's one tough little midget. Back in his heyday, he ran through a gauntlet of action platformers, foiling the ever-nefarious Dr. Wily and his band of unique henchmen over and over again. Unfortunately, there was one recurring frustration with Mega Man: his adventures had become too repetitive, each new game simply a mirror of the last.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nice game choice
Sonic riders rocks! There lots of boards characters, and other unlokables. Here's one flaw-Turbulence. It changes were I want to go. For example- if I want to go to an air pit, A turbulence can change my direction! Then I have to wait longer for more air! Other than that, the game ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Buy this game. you wont be sorry.

4-0 out of 5 stars Surf's Up Dude!!!
So far this is the latest title in the Sonic series and it...is...FAST!! Yes, the best part about Sonic Riders is that it ressurects the element that earned the series a place in gamers' hearts to begin with, speed. In fact that's what this game is all about. It's a new kind of racing game that combines racing with combat in a Sonic title to make one big, and extremely awsome, rodent vs bird frag fest. What's also good here is that unlike Sonic R the characters use air boards to sail down the intricate tracks instead of their feet or trademark vehicles and it's not as slippery. You can also ride on other racers' "turbulance" to catch up with them and even run them over, (always a good laugh). You can also use different weapons aquired throughout the levels against your apponents. And best of all there are two stories to play through, heroes and Babalonians,(the heroes game must be finished first). Think of it as Sonic meets Road Rash on air boards. And of course the story: Sonic, Tails and Knuckles are searching for a chaos emerald when they spot three mysterious figures smashing their way out of a building on flying boards. It turns out that the three figures, who's names are Jet The Hawk, Wave The Swallow and Storm The Albatross are Babalonian thieves who have stolen the emerald and are trying to escape with it. Sonic tries to confront them and gets a good look at Jet while Knuckles throws a few punches and knocks Storm off of his board, which Tails notices has the Babalonian symbol on the underside. Sonic scoops up Storm's board and gives chase only to be bested,(for once), by Jet and knocked to the pavement. Sonic realizes he has "new compitition". They later find out that Eggman has created a race called the "World Grand Prix" in which he has signed up Jet, Wave and Storm as his best racers. And the prize? A chaos emerald of course. Will Good once again triumph over evil? Has Sonic met his Match? Get set for a high speed battle so fast you'll swear you've been pressed into your seat!

4-0 out of 5 stars Blue Thunder
There is just so much hype going on with Sony right now, on their upcoming Playstation 3 video game console. While that has been the case with fans, there are still some great challenges Playstation 2 fanatics arguably still have a chance to come to play with. That has also been the case with Sonic The Hedgehog as well. Since his debut in the 90's, his character has always been changing around with the need of blue speed for a longtime. Although he has had some great platformers, his racing games weren't really up to par and lacked challenge from Sonic R from the Sega Saturn era, and Sonic Drift 2, a knock off of the Mario Kart games. This time, the fast and the furious definitely are fast and furious.

This is a cool game for PS2.My husband likes it as well as my younger children (under 10).The graphics are pretty cool & it keeps us entertained for hours.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good...but not as good as Pac-Man World 2
This game is allright...but not quite as fun as Pac-Man World 2. The graphics are a little better than PM2, but the levels aren't as fun, and what's up with the music? I just think this is a little bit of a step backward from the previous game.

4-0 out of 5 stars If love Mario games. You will Love Pac-man 3
THis is not as good as Mario.Mario seems to spank everyone in this area due to two major factors. The levels and action is very creative, and the graphics are fun. Now, that said.Pac-Man World 3 is way good.It is not as creative or pretty as Mario but it is close on both accounts. The controls handle very well. And they have even thrown in a bit of old school pac-man emulation. There are over 14 levels in this game, most of which will engage you.If you loved the last pac man world game. You will love this one. This is more of the same which is fine by me. ... I've been out on the loop when it comes to console gaming for nearly a decade. When I finally got back into the swing of things with the purchase of a PS2, this game was among the first dozen or so I've thrown into my library.
5-0 out of 5 stars The best game i've ever played!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This has got to be the best game ever!!It has a very good fighting system(similar to Zelda). The best character design.
4-0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable game
I really liked this game.I was bright and colorful but not too childish.I liked the fact that the point of the game was to retrieve parts of the world and reconstruct it with clues from the inhabitants. The weapon ungrade options were inovative and highly creative.I liked that you could switch between the characters, all of which have different abilities and weapons. Then, there is the fishing.I like that you can take time out to fish and win point that can be exchanged for gems and attribute stones.I played this game for DAYS on end.The monsters got a little repetative, and the maps were all the same, but I still found this game highly enjoyable. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Some games are lost in translation, but still a nice collection
Midway's first Arcade Treasures collection features 24 of Midway's most well known old school games. The most well known games in this collection that you'll find are Spy Hunter, Gauntlet, Defender 1 & 2, Joust 1 & 2, Paperboy, Rampage, Robotron, Smash TV, Sinistar, 720, and Klax; but thanks to the control scheme of the PS2, a number of games get lost in translation.Take Spy Hunter for example.Using both analog sticks, most of the shoulder buttons, and a few of the face buttons, the game is almost unplayable.720 and Road Blasters nearly suffer the same fate, and other games like Root Beer Tapper, Satan's Hollow, Rampart, and Super Sprint just aren't much fun to play. However, despite all the negatives, there are a few real gems here that are still great to play. The bad control scheme that I mentioned earlier is nearly perfect for Smash TV and Robotron, while Paperboy, Rampage, Marble Madness, Klax, Sinistar, and the Joust and Defender games are still great to this day. There's some bonuses here, including histories of the games and interviews with the developers (the history of Smash TV in particular is good and fun to watch) which are nice to have, and if you remember any of these games fondly this is a nice collection to have, but there are better retro game sets out there as well.

4-0 out of 5 stars Unknown Two-Player Gems
Most reviewers mention the more popular games, but I found two games that I had never heard of in the 80s that have fantastic gameplay.Rampart is a build-a-castle, blow-up-a-castle game that is very intense fun for two or three players.Klax is a fun puzzle game that can be played alone or with a competitor (side by side, but playing individually). These games alone make this bundle an awesome buy.It is fun to revisit the other classics, but these two keep me coming back for more.

3-0 out of 5 stars Limited to nostalgia
First, please note that this game DOES NOT include Moon Patrol! I bought it for that game. Hopefully the Amazon site will update the description.

5-0 out of 5 stars Takes Me Back In Time
This game is a time warp! When I load "Big Shot", I'm 9 years old again and discovering pinball for the first time. When I play "Genie", I'm back in 7th grade hanging out at the arcade in the mall on a Saturday afternoon...
5-0 out of 5 stars Pretty darn close to perfect
I just picked this up and I must say I am impressed.I truly love pinball not just as entertainment but as (depending on the machine) works of art, ie. backglass artists, table designers, and programmers have really created some masterpieces over the years - and this game really does them justice. The graphics are 1st rate, and the tables are recreated perfectly. The sound is truly amazing, and the game has exact recreations of each machine's electronics and table sounds. The arcade sound background effect is interesting, but I agree with another reviewer that it might be nice to toggle that down. The only other issue that I can possibly think of is that the gameplay relies on the gamer to choose one of six different camera angles, now some tables are more difficult than others - and this requires different camera angles, but you can only toggle through them in one direction which makes it a little difficult if you need to change angles in mid-gameplay.This is minor in the bigger picture of the game as a whole though. If I could suggest any upgrades on future volumes, I would only suggest that the designers include more attention to the backglasses - as these are a kind of overlooked in this volume, and you really can't get a close up look at them.If it were even possible to show each backglass as they appear when lit with their backlights and dot-matrix displays, that would truly blow me away. But I digress, allow me to simply say that this is a must have for a pinball fan (especially for the low price) and I really look forward to and hope the designers consider making expanded volumes that include more machines.I'd be first in line to pick it up.

2-0 out of 5 stars Just Not Good Enough
I'm not a pinball expert or anything but I always enjoyed video game pinball ( not the simulations of real machines ) and I thought I should give this a try anyway despite the fact that this is, afterall, a sim.I was wrong.Only two of the tables are any fun ( Black Hole and Tee'd Off ) and I just don't care about the history of the machines in general or Gottlieb in particular. Some may argue the older tables ( 50's, 60's ) require more skill and finesse, but I just found them to be dull and somewhat tacky. And only two worthwhile tables for $20 just doesn't cut it.I recommend these instead: Extreme Pinball for The Playstation, Pure Pinball for the X-Box, The Pinball of the Dead for the GBA ( macabre and creative! ), and even Dragon's Revenge for the old Sega Genesis. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars midway arcade treasures 2
The game was great i had fun with my 9yr.old recounting my old arcade days. The price and the ease to find it were great.

5-0 out of 5 stars Once again, Midway brings back fond memories
The second round of arcade classics is in for the PS2 and Midway comes through again.Gone are the interviews and histories of the games which is mildly disappointing, but it's made up for with more classic games being brought back on a single disc.

5-0 out of 5 stars i love it
i like to get playstation 2 game on my order sometime i place thems and my wish liste and wend i am buye dvd movie i add somme game and the refuse to delevery this items to me but i want game also

4-0 out of 5 stars Amazingly Addictive...
When buying it, I wasn't expecting much. Other Pac Man games are fun, but tend to get boring after a while. This one is SO not boring! There are many levels that you go through, and there's cool things to do even after you finish the game. The controls are fairly simple once you get used to them. The creativity envolved in the levels are clearly shown. Each level is very deifferent from the last and adds a lot of variety. This is a great game for everyone! I recommend it for all ages.

4-0 out of 5 stars Ice Skating!
Okay, this is not the Pac-Man you know. He's a platformer now! The highlight for me was the ice skating; i wish you could get him to do tricks or something! I spent a lot of time hopping, gliding, and trying to force him to do an axel. Kind of disturbing of me...
