5-0 out of 5 stars This is Great 4 gameboy Chew-Dawg
First of all this is not a young version of dracula this is his son Alucard from castlevania symphony of the night in this game alucard has a fireball at the start and learns more moves as you go along the graphics are not bad for jus the original gameboy and the game play is pretty simple if you like castlevania games or just looking fora fun game this is for you

5-0 out of 5 stars Yeah, its an old game, but it's platform action at its best
Konami released this game back for the original Game Boy. In control of a young version of Dracula, you have to try and save your father from impending doom. Starting off with the power to throw fireballs and transform into a bat, after you beat levels you have the ability to gain even more powers. The game play is very good. You'll want to go from level to level just to see what new powers you gain. The character graphics are very crisp and vibrant. The play control is great, and even the campy music is good. There's not really any flaws in this game except that it may be over too quickly. With a lack of good platform games, sometimes we need to look back at what's already been released. Some games are like a vintage wine, they just get better with age. Or maybe they're more like cheese, they get sharper with age... ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game
Gargoyle's Quest is a good game. You start in the being level but after you beat the first monster you walk around to find new places to go. While your there you talk to people and get advace and get items and learn abiltes from othere people. You fly alittle bit but after a while you get longer time flying and also can save. To get to your file you have to remenber your password. Best thing to do is to write it all down. ... Read more

This isnt that fun. This game is way too hard. Its really long to. If i were you id get woody woodpecker in crazy castle 5.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome graphics, cool gameplay!
This game gets repetative in somespots, because you always have the same goal in the levels:collect 8 keys. This game is very fun though. It has excellent graphics, excellent characters, and each level gets harder as you switch between level. The levels are all unique, too. This is an excellent family game for everyone in the family!

4-0 out of 5 stars Bugs Bunny in Crazy Castle 4
I think this game is okay. I am still playing it and think it is a fun game except when I get stuck (which is probably just because of my level of gameboy playing skill). I love how clear the graphics show the characters, and the colors are wonderful. I like how they have the codes to get to the certain spot in the game you want to be, so then more than one person could play it without affecting your game spot. I also like how they involved some other looney toons characters in the game (even though they play enemies). ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME
This game takes horrible to a new level! On a 1-5 scale I give it a -9999999. The graphics are bad, spiderman's and everyone else's moves are limited, the sound effects are....(lets not even go there) and the game is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. You would get frustrated, you would be ripping your hair out......... basically your life will get miserable. You will keep loosing no matter how hard you try. Even if you use a game genie. WHO THE HELL DESIGNED THIS VIDEO GAME? I WOULD LOVE TO KNOCK THEM OUT!!!!!!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars WAY BETTER THEN FIRST ONE!
This gbc game is way better then the first super mario land! In the first one the goombas, mushrooms, and question blocks are almost microscopic. I ran into a goomba thinking it was a mushroom!
5-0 out of 5 stars hard but fun, fun, fun!

4-0 out of 5 stars Interesting Bit of Mario for Gameboy Pocket
Even if the game had limited or no color, I still like the game as much since when I got it for my 10th birthday (I'm 16 now). Though the game gets beaten fast, it's still okay. Plus, it's packed with secret levels. A vintage Gameboy Mario game that's still as much fun as the day it was released in stores!

4-0 out of 5 stars fun game
This game is indeed a classic, and i must say i loved the SNES version. However, the lighting isn't as good, but i guess you can find that with any game boy color. Overall this is a very good game!!!!!!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars Graphics....
This is a truely great game for GBA and Snes....however it is a near exact replica to the Snes version sound and all. My main problems w/ the game are the graphics...it looks like a child drew this. Donkey Kong is so hard with his jump moves too....

5-0 out of 5 stars GBC DK Country
It's kinda easy, but great graphics for a Game Boy Color game! It has music that it's so good, if you don't play in months, you'll hear the sound of DK Country. Mainpoint: GET IT! Since none are here, go to the Computer & Video Games area of Amazon and get it there! ... Read more

I'm a Harry Potter fan and the day I bought this game, I played it, and I played it and I did it all day long, but one day, I think in the Valet Parking, someone stole it with my Gameboy Advance SP. Until this very day, I was looking for it and trying to get another one, but now I found it.
5-0 out of 5 stars The BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!! 5 STARS!!!!
My sister and I really love this game!!!! We got it going on a trip years ago (before the GBA) And we still love, and play it. We are both level 99, and have all the spells! It is easy to understand and also challenging. We DEFINATELY recommend it to everyone!! And if you have an SP, it will help, the game is kinda dark, but if you don't, it is ok!

1-0 out of 5 stars Dunno why, but this game scared me...
Poor graphics. It's scarily similar to the SUPER-CRAPPY Powerpuff Girls GBC games. It also scared me somehow, in a nightmarish way.4-0 out of 5 stars Good game
THQ's latest Game Boy Color release, The Simpsons: Night of the Living Tree House of Horror, is seven levels of spooky action ripped straight out of a decade's worth of Halloween specials. The family's souls are trapped in Bart's tree house, and the only way to save them is to guide Bart, Maggie, Lisa, Homer, and Marge safely through each of his or her own uniquely nightmarish scenarios. As can be expected from a TV license, this particular Simpsons product is an action game. However, unlike the usual fare of repetitious platform-jumping rehashes, Night of the Living Tree House of Horror packs seven different side scrollers into a single game. Each level borrows its name from a specific Halloween episode and has its own unique gameplay gimmick. In the first scenario, Bad Dream House, Bart must explore each room of the Simpsons' house, vanquish haunted creatures with his slingshot, leap across sludge pits, and collect enough keys to save the family dog from a demonic broom. Level two, Maggie-Fly, sends you soaring through the air as a fly-mutated Maggie and tasks you to navigate her safely across a bug-infested kitchen. Things really heat up in level three, Plan 9 from Outer Springfield, a top-down shoot-'em-up starring family mom, Marge Simpson. Presented in a style reminiscent of Konami's Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Marge is a bubble-blaster-packing zombie hunter who'll have to get through hordes of possessed Springfield denizens and zombie versions of Apu, Moe, Mayor Quimby, and Krusty if she wants to make it home safely. Later levels cast Homer as a vampire hunter in a Castlevania-style mansion romp, a Homer robot as a toxic-waste purifier with a heart, Lisa as a Solid Snake-inspired operative in a stealthy school rescue, and the apelike King Homer in a Rampage-style wrecking frenzy. Each level in The Simpsons: Night of the Living Tree House of Horror is a game unto itself, which makes for a rather pleasing and varied experience. Surprisingly, though, each scenario is also a nice example of the particular genre it lampoons. Bart's initial jump-happy scenario lends a nod to Nintendo's Super Mario Bros., while other levels pay glowing tribute to Sega, Konami, and Atari releases such as Kolibri, Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, and Rampage. The game is not entirely free of flaws, however. The game uses an unwieldy password system, making it unnecessarily tedious to continue a game. The game itself is incredibly short and can be completed in less than three hours. Also, nonhuman enemy sprites are limited to poorly animated spiders and bees, which makes them jarringly out of place when compared with the rest of the game's sprites. Despite a few ugly spiders, the majority of the action in The Simpsons: Night of the Living Tree House of Horror is colorfully drawn, highly detailed, and smoothly animated. Bart, Maggie, Lisa, and the rest of the family all have their own trademark body characteristics, as well as at-rest animations that include Bart's patent shrug and Maggie's clumsy pacifier drop. The rest of the Springfield menagerie is present as well. Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, Monty Burns, Waylon Smithers, Groundskeeper Willy, Principal Skinner, and a whole host of recognizable characters gives the game the kind of satisfaction that only familiarity with a phenomenon can offer. The Simpsons' house, the Burns' mansion, and the Springfield streets are also re-created as well as can be expected on a 3-inch color screen.4-0 out of 5 stars WOW! A SIMPSONS GAME!
I don't know how long I've owned this game but, I think it's been a really long time, there's 7 levels of non-stop fun, the levels get harder and harder, but, I have a book that will let me go to any level, well anyways I'm glad they made this game it's really fun well bye!!!!!!!:) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth it, espicially for how big the game is...
This game is huge and I'm not even kidding. In this game you play as Wario through exactly 51 stages, each of whom you have to find the minigame room which when you beat you get a treasure. Also at the end of each stage you have to play another mini game in which if you win you'll get one of 50 pieces of a map. I know you unlock (spoiler the difficultest stage in the game if you find all 50). Specific stages has two exits, each one leads ya to a different area. Anyways I played this over and over because I found this game to be entertaining because it was so fun and big. I quite often found myself forgeting where the treasure in specific stages were at, yea I'm that bad. But usually I end with everything. I believe this game has a 50 hour game time, it all depends on how good you are at platformer games. It's definitly worth it just for the size of the game overall so go ahead and buy it :) probably the best choice you'll make overall if you don't have this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Totally cool!!!!!
I recommend this game for people who like adventure's! Wario5-0 out of 5 stars This is the best!
This is the BEST game I have ever played. The REAL final chapter is awsome! You have to beat one of the game`s many Giant Spearmen (Which are actually GIANT Gooms)without touching the floor! And there are SIX different final bosses, and after you beat the game you get to play a mini game Flagman D.D. (which is just like Simon). I would recomend this game to EVERYONE! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Opinions, Opinions.
This game is a pretty good one for those who are into the whole monsters collecting, training, and battling scenario. Highly recommended. Also, check out this title: Revelations:The Demon Slayer for the same reasons as of the above.

4-0 out of 5 stars Two very different game for one price
Any game that involves collecting monsters is going to draw comparisons to the all-holy Pokemon. It's unavoidable. So let's dismiss the assumption that Enix's Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 is a Pokemon clone. It is not. If anything, it's a merging of Pokemon and Monster Rancher. If you want to collect every monster imaginable, you're gonna need to put some of your fave beasts out to stud and breed whole new species. Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 is actually two games in one. The first half of the game is a very classical Japanese RPG. The kingdom's in trouble and it's up to you, the unsuspecting hero, to save the day. The second half is all about finding new monsters, building them up, breeding them, and repeating the process to infinity with the hopes of finding every last species. There are two separate games you can buy, Dragon Warrior Monsters 2: Cobi's Journey or Dragon Warrior Monsters 2: Tara's Adventure. Both titles are nearly identical. The same quest, the same results. But each title has unique monsters and magic keys. To reach all of the many lands of Dragon Warrior Monsters 2, you'll have to breed monsters and swap keys with a buddy playing the other game. Cobi and Tara are friendly siblings whose family has just opened a monster ranch on the tiny island of GreatLog. Their peaceful lives are soon disrupted when the irresponsible Prince Kameha and his monster sidekick, Warubou, accidentally destroy the GreatLog's navel plug (yes, you read that right). As often happens when an island's navel plug is destroyed, GreatLog begins to sink. Warubou acts as a temporary plug, but it is up to you as either Cobi or Tara to journey to five different worlds in search of a replacement plug. From here the RPG is pretty standard. Travel around fighting random monsters and talking to various people in the town. All this leads you to a Boss encounter where you finally retrieve the potential plug replacement. You can only take three monsters with you on each journey, the rest are left at your father's ranch. Choose wisely. Enix has done a nice job balancing this game. Monsters become increasingly difficult to defeat as you progress through the game, but never so much that it gets frustrating. Random monster encounters are never so common that they become annoying. On average, you'll hit one encounter on each screen. Battles aren't yours to fight, but are left for your monsters. The wilder a monster is, the less likely they are to follow orders in combat. Give them love (and boatloads of food) and they will become more obedient. Each monster is capable of learning skills that are of great help come combat time. All of the bosses are tough, but none are impossible to beat. The bulk of the game comes after the RPG is finished. Once the credits roll, you're free to search for magic keys that will unlock a myriad of worlds to explore, monsters to nab, and items to find. Breeding is the key to finishing both the RPG and finding all of the available monsters. Each monster will be either male or female. Choose a mom and a dad who are both 10th level or above and take them to Professor Monster at the Starry Shrine. Now it's time to dim the lights, put on some soothing Barry White, and let nature take its course. Apparently, Enix isn't too hot on parental values because before your newborn can hatch, mom and dad split, never to be seen again. And I mean never. Left behind is their powerful and unique offspring. With the link cable you can hook up with friends and battle your monsters, swap keys and monsters, or even breed two monsters together. The monsters that come from breeding with your buddy's crew are some of the best you can get. Breeding new creatures, exploring the many new worlds of Dragon Warrior Monsters 2, and dealing some smack-down to your friends adds a lot of depth to an already solid RPG. Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 is a step up from the original thanks to more monsters and the need to link up with a friend in order to truly finish the game. The RPG takes anywhere from 8-12 hours, but it's the monster ranching that makes the game a winner. It would have been nice if Cobi and Tara had two separate RPG's, but like the Stones said, you can't always get what you want. If you like Monster Rancher, this is the game for you. No, it's not as good or as addictive as Pokemon, but it is a great game nonetheless.

5-0 out of 5 stars Dragan Warrior Monsters 2
This is a great game with many monsters and secrets and FUN! It is the better version of Pokemon. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Where's Zero?
It's been a very long time since I played this game, so I may leave some stuff out. I remember when I played this game for the first time, there was only one game that I ALWAYS wanted to play, but I never found it, it was metal slug but I didn't know it was called metal slug, so I looked for other games that reminded me of it, then I found Megaman xtreme, so i got it and played it, but I could not believe how hard it was. " why is this so hard?" i asked myself, especially on one of the last levels,( I think there called Sigma stages or something)there was this one where you have to percisely conntrol a flying lift of some sort by jumping exactly at the right time or you would restart that area. it took me about..... probably a month to figure it out, then, whenI was up with the last boss( I think that was Sigma) it was incredibly difficult, but somehow I beat him using all the muscle in my hands(The game boy color was somewhat, uncomfortable) I even unlocked the hard mode, which I was very proud of because megaman xtreme was the hardest game I played back then(and I heard metal slug X was a very hard game). I have great memories with this game, including my first most difficult game I "partly" compleded.plus the longest review for a game I made.I would definetly not recommend this game to someone because of all the frusration I took.Unless your were as unchallenged as I was in video games.

5-0 out of 5 stars This game is great no matter what anyone else says
This game I had a long time ago and I dont remember much about it but I do remember how much I lovedit. This games graphics werent the best but dont blame it its for gameboy color for crying out loud.People might complain about a few flaws here and there but its great.

5-0 out of 5 stars 6 stars.....
This game is amazing! It is a GBC port of 2 classic SNES games. It's amazing how you can put this all from the Super NES onto a Game boy color*. When you first play the game, there are four bosses: Chill penguin, Storm eagle, Flame stag, and Spark mandrill. When you beat these Bosses + 4 SIGMA levels, you unlock Hard mode.It won't be easy. (Don't beleive the game, Hard mode is actually EASIER than Normal mode.) In hard mode, you fight these guys: Wheel gator, Armored armadillo, Morph moth, Magna centipede. Oh, and watch out for zain and geemel, THEY'RE BIG TROUBLE without all 4 armor upgrades. Also, there's an attack of every color: Shotgun Ice[Light blue], Storm Tornado[Lavender], Speed burner[Red], Electric Spark[Yellow], Spin Wheel[Green], Rolling Shield[Orange], Silk Shot[Gray], and Magnet Mine[Blue].Read more
