the good game
I think this game gets you out of the sofa and into a reality world were you do whatever you want.

solid, but I've played better gba games
This was quite fun, however the technology and gameplay were inferior to the independent product by the name of Karnaaj.Plus at $8.99 you can't beat that price.For anyone that is a fan of this title and racing in general I would recommend this as well.

Grand Theft Auto..for the Gameboy Advance...'bout time....
We've all been looking for(the often rumored) Grand Theft Auto for the Gameboy Advance and, now, after a long wait- we finally have it. Despite the reviews I've read all over the internet and even a certain gaming magazine on the game(which weren't favorable, let me tell you); I found the game to be pretty awesome(especially considering what the GBA can do). It amazes me how they were able to make the place so HUGE in the game...but they did it. Played in the vein of the classic PSone games, Grand Theft Auto has found a good avenue on the Advance. You can explore Liberty City, find dozens of vehicles to drive, choose from hundreds of side missions, even go on rampages to blow away your enemies and earn points by doing it in a set amount of time. Like the product description states, Grand Theft Auto brings the thrills of the classic GTA gaming series to your Game Boy Advance....big time. You'd be a fool to miss this pocket version. It's just as much fun as all the other games. It is, definitely, a must for all GTA fans. Trust me.

Great for the kids!
My oldest nephew is a HUGE Godzilla fan so I bought him this game! He hasn't stopped playing it since then! I even played it a few times and I had fun(although the small screen on the system hurts my eyes a bit)
MY FAVORITE GBA GAME!!!
It's my favorite gba game because it's fun and easy. Buy it if you love godzilla or you love fighting games.

Only 6 Levels?! Still Fun.
If you want to sit down for half an hour and kick some serious tail with Godzilla, Megalon and four other famous monsters then buy this game. But if you like challenges that take weeks to finish this game is not for you! Still fun, even though there are only like six levels, seven monsters (only six are playable) and the graphics are cartoony. Fun for those who know the Game
I recenty picked this game up for $10 at Costco. I have always loved the sim city games. So i figured how bad could it be. And if you know what you are doing and like Sim City for the computer its pretty similar. I've actually filled the map and just had to stand around and watch my money grow. Its all in your tactics. For what I paid for this game I am very happy, and find myself playing the game often.

You can't go home again.
I played the original Firepro Wrestling on the Sega Saturn. It was released in Japan only and I needed a translation in English to do anything. My friends and I played this game over and over. In fact we still, to this day, say CRITICAL! Which is one of the few English words we could understand. When your wrestler was totally defeated he would be CRITICALed. The wrestler creation capabilities were and still are the very best offering from any wrestling game. It was 2 dimensional then and is still 2d on the GBA. If you are like me and don't care about graphics you may still enjoy this game. I bought it on Amazon and played it for about 3 minutes before checking out the wrestler creation. I was shocked to find the format had changed, but the tools for creation are still the same as they ever were. However my gaming tastes have changed a lot since 1999, and 2 dimensional graphics are just too hard to go back to. I can acknowledge the greatness of this game without actually enjoying it, but if it didn't cost me only 5 bucks I would be wrighting a way worse review. If you still pick up Mario Bros. now and again or if you run out to by every new Namco or Midway or Capcom "Classics" game. You may enjoy this game way more than I do now. You might actually get as much enjoyment out of it as my friends and I did 6-7 years ago. If you are either under 26 years old or are currently playing X-Box 360 or X-Box Live games like Halo2, steer clear of this one. 1999 rating 8.5 out of 10. 2006 3.3 out of 10.

Fire Pro Wrestling is awesome.
This is a great wrestling game. The best for the GBA next to the second version. You have to rename all of the wrestlers you know. This is to protect the copyright issues. A few of the hints to rename a)the nicknames chosen b)the names chosen and c) the finishers chosen.

Baby I Got The Fever!
Man, look at that beautiful intro movie!!!I knew this game would look amasing, I didn't expect it to play even better!The thing that I like is how you develop a strategy to beat the harder opponents.Stick and Move, or stay in there and take it like a man!This game is better than most boxing console games!

Boxing Forever is not an original concept the game borrows so much of it's design from the coin-op arcade PunchOut and Super PunchOut that my first impulse was to wish for a port of PunchOut and not a cheap rip-off. This is Great!!
This game is the BOMB!!! You get to battle and everything! You can even build your own bots!! The only problem is you don't have enough parts OR ready made bots to compete with.

Smash Bros Must!
Although I don't have the game, and only played it for two minutes, I knew that I liked it once I started. It is so similar to the Smash Bros games, youwouldn't believe it! The parts add variety to the game. Allowing different combinations of abilities. This allows for hundreds of possible battle strategies. Robopon rocks!
If you happen to be six to twelve years old, and have either a Game Boy Advance SP or a Gamecube, you've probably played Pokemon. If you haven't...well, you have no idea what you're missing.

A good game.
This game is just like cross version. Despite popular rumors you don't actually build your robots. You customize them with different colors, body designs, and weapons. I have both of these 2 versions and I personally like Cross better. The atributes of the robopon are more complicated than Pokemon types. Expansive and reminds me of a Final Fantasy game... with robots
This is one of those raise-your-monster-for-fighting games (Pokemon anyone?), but it has a lot of originality in its own right. The game opens with the ending events of the first game, and shows you what happens right afterward.

This game is so cool. It is like Pokemon but it blows pokemon out of the park. it is fun, the graphics are cool, the boy DOES NOT look like a girl (the reason the other people say this is b/c they don't have a gf), the music is catchy, and you can make robopons. i recommend this game to pokemon fans that want to try something a bit different but still keeps the main points and strategies. I recommend you get sun version and the first one also. Mega Cool!
This is really cool.Yes the cartridge only has 2 shows on it, who cares.The ability to watch your favorite catroon on the gameboy that is probably stuck in your pocket or bag anyway is just awesome.Also, as small as the cartridge is, the whole tech. concept blows any complaints away.This is only a glimpse of what is to come.

Not Just for GBA Screen!
Use your Game Cube adapter to play this great movie on your portable Game Cube Screen! My kids love it on the go in the car, anywhere away from home. Cheaper than buying a DVD player and the screen on the GC is the same size with great clarity!!

Well it's a novel idea....
This Game Boy Advance cartridge contains the first two episodes of the new TMNT cartoon. While it's always cool to see companies innovate with portable technology, you're not really getting a lot for your money here. Two episodes on a small GBA screen with compressed sound? If parents really want to entertain their kids on the go, buy a portable DVD player and some of the TMNT DVDs, which have more episodes for less money. Yes portable DVD players are expensive, but at least parents can watch their favourite movies as well. Read more

A fighting game for the RPG fan!!
As a RPG fan I love playing Final Fantasy,Fire Emblem, ect...Im not really skilled at fighting games.But this game is very simple and fun to play! There are no 85 button combos to pull off. There are only a few button combos and the left and right triggers.Ths music is really cool and the anime style fighters are awesome!!This is the best fighting game of any system, xbox or ps2 have no fighting games this good.for the price go ahead and get it. You'll love it.

A GREAT GAME FOR THE GBA
This game rocks! I could not have dreamed for a better game to play while you would be stuck in a car with a girl who is 13 going on 30. This game has no flaws: the gameplay is cool there are plenty of characters, and (OW!? my sister is beating me up because I said she is 13 going on 30) the attacks are great. Even though I paid this no attention The ability to teleport (Now I wonder: Complete Dejavue With DBZ) after your opponet is batted away is messed up with Shadow, so I fixed it by teleporting (DBZstyle) then mashing A and then striking. 9.5/10 overall.

Better then sonic fighters
Sonic fighters(A.K.A Sonic champship) was a arcade game that I once played at a arcade but this is 100 times better. You can choose lots of charecters to play as and it so cool. There is blast and everything you need to make the perfect fighting game. I like to play the game when I am angrey so I can just take it all out. Also there is a new charecter in the game called Emrald who is a fighting robot that can copy pepoles moves which rocks. Each chracter has a special abillty that you can use and take out your oponet. What a Dissapointment
While fun for a while, it gets tiresom after a while. I stopped playing by the time I got to the point in Rouge's quest where you have to beat her 5 times as Emerl, but if she beat you even once, you have to start the entire fight over again! So if you beat her 4 times,then she beats you, you're forced to fight her again!

Remember the time when walking into the arcades in the mid-late 80's were a blast?First to witness a strange side scrolling game called Double Dragon?This was the very first side scroller in the arcades that called out to me.It was an awesome game.

I was quite unnerved by the negative reviews on this game. Nonetheless, my love for Double Dragon prevailed and I acquired it. I found all the negative reviews to be criminally false.
I'm not really sure about this GBA version.
Don't get me wrong. I LOVE Double Dragon! But this GBA version is a blessing and a curse. Double Dragon is commonly referred to as the first side-scrolling beat-em-up. It's not, there were a couple of minor hits before it, but it sure is the best that has ever dominated our arcades.

Grunty's Revenge-I like it
I played both games for N64 and like it better than any Mario game but the only gripe I have for Grunty's Revenge is that I get lost a lot walking around between the 'caves'

Wasteful, Mindless Gaming
Banjo Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge is one of the most absurd Game Boy Games I have ever seen. The plot: Banjo (the bear) has just had his best friend and buddy Kazooie (the bird) taken captive by the evil witch Gruntilda, who has magically re-arisen from who knows where. So Banjo has to go on a journey to rescue Kazooie and stop Gruntilda and her wicked ways once and for all. Just to get a perspective of how absurd this game really is, imagine uber-twangy hillbilly/banjo music and a bunch of characters by the names of Bosseye, Klungo, Jinjo, and Mumbo Jumbo. Then imagine all of them talking in this absurd Darth Vader-like jibberish that, combined with the nonstop twangy banjo music, when being played in the back seat of a car on a long, long trip, will make everyone in the front seat turn around out of impatience and irratation with bulging eyeballs and exclaim, "What IS that?"
Essential for BK lovers!
Grunty's Revenge may not be the new console adventure that fans have been cheated out of (at this point, I'd buy a bleeping Xbox 360 just to play Banjo-Threeie), but that doesn't mean it's not a force to be reckoned with on GBA.

Handheld fighting perfection... almost.
The graphics, amount of characters and special moves, amount of fighting options, and sheer quality of this fighting game is borderline crazy. You get so much for a portable game thats two inches square.
Fun, but pointless
Despite the beautiful graphics and multiple characters to choose from (including several from Final Fight) I just can't see any REAL difference between this and the endless other 1-on-1 beat-em-ups out there.
Great Game on the go!!!!!!!!!
This is a very close port of the original SFA3 arcade game. The game really shows off the power of the GBA pretty well. The fighters move smoothly and all the little subtle animations are there too. Overall I was blown away at how good this looked on the GBA. The controls are a little hard to pull off but you do get used to it, I just forget about doing certain moves that are too hard and stick to the easy ones. river city ransom - 47 dollars is over priced
I bought this game the other day at gamestop for 17.99 , it's not that rare you can find it , don't buy it for that price, your paying too much for so little.
Poor Port to the GBA
River City Ransom for the NES was a classic game.However, the port to GBA brought no effort into making this game better or functional for a handheld.Atlus Software looked to cash in on a popular title and spent the minimal effort necessary to create this cartridge. ----------Great Game, But Too SHORT-------

Harmony of Dissonance
The ever lasting Castlevania series hit incredibly high on the GBA with the release of Circle of the Moon.Circle of the Moon being one of the best Castlevania games ever made (though, once again, nothing compares to Symphony of the Night).Harmony of Dissonance, the second of the GBA games, is also a fantastic game.
Fun but falls flat on its face.
Sure the graphics are much more colorful than the last GBA Castlevania but the graphics and enemies look downright like cartoons in most parts.
A great adventure at times obscured by myriad blemishes.
Harmony of Dissonance (HoD, for the contraction) begs to be compared with any and every Castlevania game that has appeared since the series began in 1986, but despite the large number of cameos and overall classic feel it is best to ultimately judge this title on its own merits, providing comparisons merely for reference. It accomplishes what it sets out to in providing a gameplay experience that has some incredibly strong points and a variety of goals, but tastes as though it has had some artifical extenders added into the mix.
