This is a good game.
This game is good for big kids and little kids. It is a pretty challenging for little kids but easy for big kids. This game has good characters.

My son and his friend just love this game when they first got it. To a mom like me,the game is just too easy and not worthy for 30 bucks. After my son beat the master org (easy level), he seldom play it.Not very interesting by just punching and fighting. For a BIG fan of power ranger like my 5-year-old,anything with power rangers, he loves it.

When my friend got this game for XBox, I thought this game would stink. My bro and my friend played it all day long. So then I played it and...it was OK?! So then about a month or so I asked my friend if I could borrow Rocky for XBox. So I started to play it, and once I learned the controls, I liked it! So while my bro was playing a match, I went and looked up Rocky for GameBoy Advance. It looked awesome, so I put it on my birthday list. Well, I gave Rocky back to my friend, I was sooo sad! The next Sunday, my mom took me to get my science project materials. After we got them, we went to Toys R' Us(You guys rock)... I was so excited to get home and play it. I started in Movie Mode and couldn't get past Spider Rico. My stamina meter kept falling too fast. So I started working on the Heavy Bag and then got past Spider Rico. I then completed the whole movie mode. I had every boxer except the last two...??? The ROCKY STATUE and APOLLO MAX! So I completed Knockout Mode on Medium and Hard. I had every boxer in the game! I now play this game with Rocky V, Rocky Statue, and Apollo Max. The Movie Mode can give 5 to 10 hour of straight through play. It is awesome! The sound on this game is beautiful...especially "Gonna Fly Now." The gameplay is awesome too, there are eight punches, four left and four right. I totally recommend this game to any Rocky/Boxing fan, and even if you're just looking for a new GBA game, buy it... ... Read more

Okay, but I prefer the computer X-Men games, thank you very much.
I liked this game alright. I don't have it anymore, but when I did it was an okay game. The graphics were good enough, and so were the moves and characters. I loved the fact that Apocalypse was the big bad final boss. He is my second favorite X-Men villain next to Magneto(who is also in this game)There are many other cool bosses, and you can play as Wolverine, Rouge, Cyclops, or Storm(all of whom are in my top 10 favorite X-Men members)Unfortunately, there are 3 major things that make this game get pulled down to just being OK. (1. The game is too easy. You just play as Wolverine and slice and dice your way through all the enemies and bosses. (2. The bosses have cool attacks, but I have seen much cooler out of other bosses, including other game versions of them. (3. The music may be good, but some other sound effects are sort of cheesy. Overall, all of this averages out and makes this game an OK buy. If you love the X-Men to pieces & you desperately need a game dedicated to them, then this is for you. Otherwise, get something else. This one may be alright, but there are others that are better. Quite a few, as a matter of fact.

A Feeble And Careless Attept
I got this game today and I was pumped. However, that enthusiasm died. The graphics are o.k., the play is repeatitive and the moves are simple. So, to put it bluntly, IT SUCKED!!!

Ridiculous!
My 8 yr old son bought this with his birthday money and after 20 minutes became very frustrated because it had him in the "Team Formation" setup part over and over.I finally tried and even with the directions (and a graduate degree), it took me over 30 min to get out of the setup loop and actually START the game.It was utterly ridiculous!!A child's video game should not be so involved and should not have 38 steps you have to go through before you can actually begin play.

Nice game, people, nice game.
Okay, this game is pretty repetitive, but it is also pretty good. Robattling is fun. It's really easy, though. I beat it 2 weeks after I got it. The rubberrobos are hard, and so is the tournament. It was basically luck of the Medaforce. and if you have to give up a part, just press A + B + Start + Select, and you'll start all over. that is why you should always save after winning a 'battle.overall its a good game... ... For when you need to kick butt on the go
Naturally, nothing compares to the true experience of playing a fighting game in the arcade, but this little baby does a nice job of giving great fighting gameplay for those boring road trips mom and dad are always taking you on.It's not a game I'd recommend you go out of your way to play, but if you're going to have the time to sit around, this is definately something worth having with you! I have been a fan of SNK since i got a NeoGeo.I loved the fighting games, and in particular, playig as Athena.Them Match of the Millenium came out, and SNK took on Capcom.I loved it.This is just another installment of King of Fighters games...and like most all of its predescesors, it is great.

It's portable Final Fight. What else do you want?
When I heard about the idea of Game Boy Advance several years ago, it was described as a 'portable SNES'. Instantly, the thought crossed my mind of playing some of my favorite SNES games again, or maybe have some of them re-done and touched up a bit. That's exactly what's been done with Final Fight One, which is a lot more true to the arcade game than it is the SNES game from 1990. Everyone by know exactly what the game is and what it entails. The question is, did they pull it off for GBA? The answer is, hell yeah they did. Not only has the game transitioned perfectly, they added some hilariously goofy cut-scenes before every boss battle, complete with dialogue like "I will beat your face in!" followed by "Shut up!". The game as a whole feels a lot more... Capcom-ish, with updated artwork, graphics and menu screens. But the gameplay is the same old Final Fight, and I couldn't be happier.

Surprisingly easy
I could finished this as soon as I was given it, since I started playing it straight away, but my boyfriend had other ideas. I managed to get to the fifth level (I think), before this arm came over my shoulder and switched it over. The next time I tried to play it, could I get past the fat police guy who had a gun?! Nooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! And who are we blaming for that?
Another solid beat 'em up!
If you're a Streets of Rage or Double Dragon fan then Final Fight will no-doubt appeal to you. I only ever played it in the arcade once about 13 years ago but I was a cool game indeed. This Gameboy Advance version is identical to the Arcade but with a few more touches added such as new cut-scenes and animations and a couple of hidden levels.

an okay game
for what this game lacks in graphics it makes up in story and characters. i like the fact you can get broly and his cool special atack, but others are all wrong. like krillins head looks like an oversized bowling ball.(android 18 too!) atleast krillin uses his huge head for an attack. overall it's an okay game. buy it if you have nothing better to buy.

don't buy unless you would die for DBZ
This game was horrible!There was no story line and the graphics sucked!The unlockables weren't that good and by the time you mash the buttons to do a special attack, the opponent is dead!There wasn't any differences between the characters besides the looks.They all had almost the exact same attacks.There's no storyline at all!Playing this stupid game, made my buttons on my GBA go soft!

WORST DBZ GAME EVER!!!
This is by far the worst DBZ game I have ever played! I own all the DBZ GBA games including the newer fighting game "Super Sonic Warriors". I got Taiketsu without reading any reviews. I cant believe I was soooo naive to buy this game! I was so dissipointed by the small limit of moves to do, the corny looking graphics, and its really hard to do combo moves! I was so upset that I wasted $25 on it that I pretended I liked so I felt like I got my moneys worth. Tekken Advance...
I never thought fighting games on the Gameboy Advance would amount to much, to be honest. I figured we'd see a whole slew of 2-D fighters, like Street Fighter-Guilty Gear and the like, swamp the system as it's geared toward 2-D gameplay because of it's processing limitations. When I saw Tekken Advance in action, I was simply amazed. I don't know how Namco managed to do it but they produced a game that looks and plays like Tekken and I love it. Sure, the control scheme is a bit different and the move sets have been scaled down a bit but this game is, definitely, Tekken. This game, for better or worse, is a scaled down version of Tekken 3. While notables like Eddy and Lei are absent, the rest of the cast is there. In this version, Heihachi serves as the game's boss. Aside from the arcade mode, the game also features a link-cable versus, time attack, survival, tag battle, versus tag battle, and practice mode.

Mortal Combat: Tournament Edition rocks! It's just like the original. Although, I'm finding it difficult to use "fatality" when you have to "finish him or her" I use Johnny Cage, Nitara, Raiden, and Scorpion.

Portable MK At it's best
Without a doubt this is the best Portable MK Game To Date. for those who never played the older MK gameboy games lets just say mnay of them were lacking in different areas (except MK2 And MK:DA). Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition is more or less everything from the regual console version of MK;DA taht didnt make it into the GBA version. Thats a good thing. It still has the mini Krypt. and features a total of 15 warriors. many of which are hidden. 3 of which are not at all in the MK DA Console Or GBA game. 1 of which has never been in a MK fighting game 9however they were in MKM; Sub-Zero. the action game). all in all there more then enough to keep u busy for a while and its game worth it. The controls are very smooth. not the same as the regual MKDA Console Controls, but not at all in a bad way. Pretty Good but...
it's a bit too hard even if you put it on Easy mode. However, the game do have features that makes it stand out. The designs of the environments are nice and clean. The way wolverine slashes and cling to the wall makes you think of the X-men movie that's because that's exactly how wolverine moves! I think this would've been a perfect game if it wasn't too hard and if only you don't hear those alarm sounds that come off on almost each stage of the game, it gets really annoying at times.

Solid mutant fun for the GBA
Released around the time X2: X-Men United hit theaters, X2: Wolverine's Revenge focuses on the adamantium clawed mutant berserker as he makes a trek across Canada to learn more of his forgotten past.With telepathic help from Professor Xavier, you guide Wolvie through a horde of enemy ninjas and guards before taking on level bosses like Pyro, Shiva, Deathstrike, and of course, Sabretooth and Magneto.The graphics are typical side scroller fare, but everything is animated nicely, while the sound effects are decent as well.The control handles easily for the most part, and Wolverine's moves are nicely translated from the comics to the game, and his regeneration ability is nicely utilized as well.There's nothing wrong with X2: Wolverine's Revenge for the GBA as this version is better than it's home console bretheren, but once you beat it, there's nothing else left to do.If you're a Wolverine fan, comics or movies, and you can find this cheap then pick it up, just don't expect much more replayability out of it once you beat it. ... Very Good Game
I really liked this game.there was enough fighting in this to keep me playing for a very long time.Also this game lives up to Jackie Chan with him using everything he can find ranging from a fish to a bamboo stick! all the enemies in this game were very difficult to sometimes just plain frustrating!Also the bosses in this game were very hard and you needed to figure out how to kill them.For example you couldent just go up to them and start punching and kicking them.One off the bosses attacks was to suck you up and spit you out so you had to figure out that once it started to suck in you had to avoid its attack and run behind it and attack it!!I would definatley buy this game if you like jackie chan, or his show(or if you just like a good portable fighting game!)!! ... Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance......
Sadly, I was one of the few who bought Mortal Kombat Advance when it first came out based on the fact that I was a big fan of the series and craved a Mortal Kombat game to play on the go. Considering as to how the Gameboy Advance is geared more towards to 2-D style gameplay; I figured, at the time, that Mortal Kombat Advance would be a killer game to play on the system. Instead, it was downright mess. It was unresponsive and played nothing like the console game it was based upon(Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, which is the MK game that got me hooked). So, when Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance came out, I was extremely hesitant to even try the game. Even with reading reviews on it, I still felt it wouldn't be any good and put off buying it. I felt that, since all the other handheld versions of MK that came out weren't too good, this game wouldn't be to good.
The best fighting game I've ever played so far!
What can I say. This game is PERFECT! The graphics are slick and wondrously cool looking, the fighters have all sorts of cool moves and bad-@$$ weapons, every bit of storyline is etched with gigantic excellency, and the sound and music are cool to the core! I love this game and it is so far the best game I have ever played in all terms of beat 'em up games. Here's how I rate the 12 fighters:

WORSE GAME YOU COULD EVER PURCHASE.....
The control response is bad. The graphics are horrible. There are no special moves. The boxers' punches don't seem real. The sound is low in quality. The overall concept of this game is inferior. Stay away from this game, do not waste your money, don't say you weren't warned.

Way tooooo easy
I was excited about getting this game, since I was looking for a good 2D fighting title for my GBA. It has good graphics and ok sound, but as the previous reviewer states, it's a short game. I was going to take this game for a long trip, but I found it so easy I finished it in about a week, unlocking all the secret characters. It has a very poor plot compared to what the KOF series has all of us fans used to. I really don't recommend you buying it, but maybe renting it or borrowing from a friend. Also, another bad characteristic is the fact that you cannot erase the previous data, so if you buy it used, it'll probably have all the characters unlocked.

Five minutes of fun
I paid only 400 pennies for this game. And quite right too as it certainly does not have much lasting appeal. In fact I finished it twice the very day I started playing it and was about to go for a third today but it just wasn't worth it as all the levels (8 of them) were the same and there was no variety other than the different types of attack between the 18 characters. The backgrounds are blandly drawn and the knockouts unspectacular.

Bad control response.......
All characters possess moves that are pretty interesting and it makes you go "oh coool!" . Let me think what else I like.....hmmm....well that's about it. Just the moves are good. The graphics are alright...could've been better. The music....errr...let's just say I had to turn the volume down a bit when I played it. But what pissed me off about this game is the controls. They respond way too late.
