This is the best game in the series, i think. If you even slightly like Pokemon BUY THIS!

This is the best pokemon yet
if you like pokemon This is the game for you. You Take a personality quiz to determine which pokemon you are (I ended up as Cyndaquil) Then you choose your partner ( I chose Mudkip) then you start doing a series of rescue missions in dungeons. The bosses are legendary pokemon (of course). Yes everything is randomly generated but that is what keeps it interesting If you did the same thing over and over again you wouldn'tAnd you don't evolve until the end but it's still fun even if you don't evolve for a while.Whatever anyone said this game is not repetitive (well if you like pokemon anyway. A Wonderful Experience
I've been a fan of Pokemon in all of its various forms for several years now, so I've seen the gradual evolution of the games, and I have mostly enjoyed them. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is something entirely different though, and I have to say that in my opinion it is by far the best of the lot.

Why not buy a DS?
Why would you buy this now? It was really cool a couple of years ago but you should buy a Nintendo DS. It will play all the GBA games plus the DS games for only a little bit more. They've already stopped making games for this system. After Christmas I highly doubt they'll even have games available anymore. Get a DS. Just trying to be a buddy and help.

quite possibly one of the greatest handhelds currently available today
The GBA SP is one of Nintendo's best handheld machines. It comes with a back light, a flip case which protects the screen, and it features reverse capability with the three Game Boy handhelds that came before it: the Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, and original Game Boy. The only drawback to this system is that you must buy a headphone converter jack for it, which is sold seperately and the volume does not get very loud. Other than that, the GBA SP is one handheld that is well worth owning for anyone who hasn't yet.

The best version yet
This game is seriously awesome! Most of the gameplay is the same as the original red, blue, and yellow versions, except with way better graphics. The wireless trading system rocks, I have a friend who has leaf green and we trade a lot to get the pokemon we need. A nice addition is the Sevii islands, they offer a lot more things to do, and they also are home to the day care center where you can breed pokemon(I already have like 10 charmanders, and of course you can't breed legendaries).Another fun addition is the shiny pokemon (pokemon that are unusually colored) I haven't found any yet, but my friend has a golden machoke and a yellow magikarp.

the best pokemon yet
this is the best pokemon game yet at first I had doubts about this game but I found pokemon yellow and played this at my friends house and I couldn't believe how good this game was the graphics are great the poke mon are great too this is a must buy

The best Pokemon game to date
When Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire came out, I was very distraught to learn that some of my favorites from the original Game Boy generation, particularly Nidoking and Persian, were absent from them. Furthermore, since the Advance Generation employs a different system for Pokemon stats and is on vastly different hardware, I could not upload my power Pokemon from Crystal or Blue. And there were some things that annoyed me about Ruby/Sapphire, including the spineless rival and outlandish town concepts (Who builds a town atop trees or inside a crater?).
A tough but fun game
This game is pretty tough mainly because the elite four is hard.But once you beat them theyre are seven islands to explore including island 8 and 9 accesed only through the nintindo events.I gave this game overall 5*****s because the game althroughout kanto and the nine islands are very fun to explore and unlock mysteries.And I gave it 4****s on the funness level because the elite four gets on my nerves because the last battle is your rival and hes plane tough.But it has great graphics and the features like the teachy tv the vs seeker the berry pouchand also has the net ball the nest ball I think it also has the timer ball to.I also like the fact that it comes with a wirrless adapter.But this game can be described in one word and that is fun. ... This is the best game ever!
This is a really fun, exiting game that you can play for years and not get bored of. Emerald is different than the other games. First, when you meet a wild or trainer pokemon, they do an animation. Like when you meet a wild Linoone, they swish their tail from side to side. And Aron jumps up. If you have beaten the Elite Four, you can trade with players from other reigons, like FireRed. This game is a good game to play on long, boring road trips or just at home relaxing. The only flaw is that it costs 30$!!!

Improvement over original SP
I bought this pink gameboy advance SP for my daughter, who loves pink. Her older brother, who normally would rather be caught dead than with something pink, actually traded gameboys with his sister because the "lighting and screen are so much better" on this version of the SP. It must be a heck of an improvement -- he doesn't even hesitate to carry it around in public despite the color!

Really great toy
My daughters are only ages 4 and 5 and they love their pink gameboys!I initially just bought one thinking they were too young to play them but we nearly immediately had to go out and buy another one because they both loved it so much.I am really impressed by the quality of the games and the number of games available for this age range.I also am not a big advocate of computer games over other activities, but there have been many times when the gameboy has been a terrific time filler for my kids on car rides and in waiting situations that have kept them busy, happy, and occupied.It's very sturdy and both of ours have been dropped a number of times with no damage at all.Also the batteries seem to last a very long time.I will admit to enjoying playing it myself!Gameboy has come along way from what I remembered it being. I would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful
I loved this product for my Granddaughter. It is easy for her to care for as a five year old. it is pretty and the games are great. I make sure to choose age-appropiate games and she has lots of fun. I had been worried that she might get "addicted" but no problems there either. She plays for awhile and laughs out loud at times whilst other times she cries out in frustration but good humoredly; then she puts it down and runs off to play healthy children's activities. It is just great as a wind-down time for her and it teaches her to try hard but to not always expect to win every game.

Pokemon must have.
When I was about seven or maybe six years old, I was really into pokemon, all these years later and Pokemon Ruby has once again got me addicted to the 'Gotta Catch 'em all' slogan.
AWESOME GAME!!!!
Well to start off you get introduced at the beginning of the story where he gives you a pokemon, which you get to choose who you want to start the game with, if you want to have a real challenge on some of the gym leaders especially winoa, the bird pokemon master you should choose treeko, which eventually evolves into grovile and the several levels later it evolves into sceptile, now if you want to beat the elite four with ease and pretty well all trainers and gym leaders, pick treeko and or mudkip, and the cool part is you get to face the infamous team magma, who their leader, archie, when you get to the cave of origin, once you beat all gym leaders (including sootopolis and mossdeep) archie awakens groudon which causes the worst drought and you go to the cave of origin, use your master ball and it will flawlessly catch the legendary GROUDON, which is pictured onthe front of the box and he starts out at lvl 45. but then when you beat the elite four in evergrande city you can acsses sky pillar which is one heck of a maze, and when you get to the top, you face THE ULTIMATE RYQUAZA Dun dun tshoe

A very challenging game
This game for me was easy on the first levels but got harder as i went along. i think that it is a great{one of the best i ever played}because it takes you a while to get passed the whole thing, you just can't get by this game in 30 minutes.

This game is truly the best mario game ever. Super mario bros. 3 was great and now a remake that is even better! The E-reader compatibility is cool, but it sucks how america didn't get all the cards such as floaty jump Luigi, boomarang, and difficult enemies. Disappointing to this fan of the original
Last year I bought a GameBoy Advance SP (GBA) and Lego Star Wars (LSW) for the GBA based on the strength of the original LSW after playing a friend's kid's copy for just a few minutes.The game was that good, that intriguing and that interesting, that after just a few minutes of play I, a 36 year old man, wanted to buy a GBA.I hadn't played any computer games for 5+ years and this game pulled me back in.
No comparison.
This isn't the worst video game I've ever played, although I am extremely disappointed with it.Lego Star Wars II is a far cry from its predecessor.The levels are not as challenging (or perhaps not challenging at all) and some of them are strangely brief.It is very difficult (awkward) to control vehicles when they are featured. Gameplay otherwise is very similar; however, the "blaster" weapons are more effective (this game's only improvement over LSW I).There are LOTS of "free-play" options in this game, and that's ironic, since the levels don't have any of the re-play value those in LSW I did.Some of the most frustrating aspects of this edition are the level intros...in the last edition, they were either brief or could be easily skipped.Not so, this time!The intro to one of the Endor battles goes on for two minutes or more, and is filled with confusing "word balloons."I would recommend renting or playing a demo of this title before you buy it.If you buy it based on the strength of LSW I, like me, you will probably end up being disappointed. ... One of the best games of the year!!!
This games Cars is a very fun game to play over and over again. There are lots of diffenent races to race in with a lot of diffenernt style race tracks. The stirring in the game is very easy for anybody of any age to get used to...I recommend getting this game for a Birthday, Christmas gift, or just to take with ya on the road....

Not worth it
I bought this game for my son after seeing the ads on TV for it in conjunction with the movie.It's a series of races to get trophies for.It's not a file game either so once he beats it, that's it.He can rerace but no trophies are available.This game's better for PlayStation, GameCube & Xbox.We'll be getting the GameCube in a few months & I plan to buy the Cars game for it.If you want this game for the Gameboy Advance, you're wasting your money.Get a different game for your child.

Not the best Mario game for GBA...
This game is sortta boring. There are not many glitches in this game, but most of the glitches from the SMB2 NES version have somewhat got copied into this game. The bosses and baddies are VERY LAME and VERY STUPID!!! Don't care about them, and just beat the crap out of them so you can get it over with! The characters also make stupid coments. This game is VERY wierd.

Significantly worse on the GBA
This game is a big disappointment from Nintendo.First off, the original game wasn't all that great to begin with due to its tiny worlds, nonexistant powerups, and simple boss characters.However,what makes this game a real loser is that it's worse than the the SNES remake on the Super Mario All-Stars game and even the original NES game!

very cool
i love my pokemon sapphire.it's a great game for people who have played pokemon before but if your a beginner i would get help from some online website.sadly you cannot trade with gold silver crystal red blue and yellow :-(. for once you actully fight the leader of the team your fighting ^__^!but i'll say it right now after youve betean the game it gets kind of boring.but boring or not its very cool :-)!!

saphire fever
the moment i got my mudkip i instatly cought saphire fever.saphire unfortunantly cant be played on gameboy color.there are two new "evil teams" are team aqua and team magma(sadly there is no team rocket.in saphire the team you are fighting is team aqua(who wants the trouble of fighting two teams).the three legendarias are groudon,kyogre and rayqaza but you dont need to worry about groudon because you dont catch him.kyogre is in the cave of origin and you can either beat him or catch him(i would catch him he is super strong)you can use your master ball if you like but i would save it for latias(make sure you save before you battle him if you are trying to catch him if he beats you or you beat him you can turn of and try again).rayquaza is at the top of the sky pillar and if you dont want to catch him ignore the sky pillar onless you want a good ghost type.if you want to catch him make sure you save and its ok to use your master ball but i would use in on latias.keep in mind you can only catch him after you beat the elite four.there are also three miner legenarias regirock,regice and registeel.to get these three i would recomend either a guide of somesortor a good brail guid.i would only catch one if i were you because the moves they learn are pretty much the same.there wareabouts are regice is an island between dewford and slaport,regirock is at the botom of the desert and registeel is right outside lilycove(where the girl who gives you the berry is.for finding them i would also recomend a guid because i cannot explain there locations are very well.when you get to there locations you will notice that there is no way in.that is because you have not gone to the sealed chamber.i would use a guide to get there because its very hard to get there without instuctions.im going to save you alot of trouble by telling you this when you enter the sealed chamber go right to the front and use dig( wich you get from fossil maniacs younger brother).a door will open and proseed into the next chamber walk to the front put ralicanth at the front of your party and wailord at the back and hit the A bottun(if you want to get emereld read the emerld reveiws in emreld things are differt and alot harder).once your in the tomb of the regis read the brail at the front and it will tell you to use a certain move in a certain place then you can catch the regis(do not use your master ball there are bigger and better things to use it on).i know i mentioned the elite four earlyer so here it is.the elite four(also known as the pokem leage)are a group of four members and the champion.there pokemon typs go dark,ghost,ice,dragon and finally steel(get a good water type and you'll crush the champion).once you beat the elite four the ferry starts working so you can go to battle tower.there are two rooms in the battle tower the level 50 room and the level 100 room.in the level fifty room you fight seven trainers(all there pokemon are level fifty)you can use only three pokemon and you cant use rayquazakyogre or groudon.same rules for the level 100 room only every trainers pokemon is level 100.you cant hook up with c/s/g/r/b/y but you can hook up with firered and leafgreen.your probobly going to catch saphire fever too.

too cool
i've always loved this game and I have always played it, Even after I beat it I still played it. you can be over 15 people and you see Episodes I, II, and III through your eyes. I especially liked fighting darth Maul and his double bladed lightsaber. I also love to play in free play mode. my 3 favorites are count dooku, Darth Maul, and Darth Vader. they're also coming out with a starwars original trilogy game. This game is off da hook Man!!

first of all this game is good but not as good as the gamecube version and their the same price so if you have a cube I would buy it for that butthe version for the gba is still good. This game takes you through the first 3 star wars films you get to play as 15 + chracters like yoda chewie obi- wan anakin tusken raider and much more! Rarely do I see a game through to the end but I did this one.It has such high replay value.I finished it and picked up the first Kingdome Hearts game for PS2.The graphics are good and the gameplay is downright fantastic.I loved being able to fight and use cards in the battle as well.It sounds confusing but it really is not hard to pick up.I high recommend this game!!!I am still looking for another game that is just as good.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.........
While I've had the pleasure of playing abit of the original Kingdom Hearts game, it wasn't until I played Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories that I actually took any interest in the series. Don't get me wrong, I'm a strong supporter of both Square-Enix and Disney. It was just, at first sight, Kingdom Hearts didn't quite gel with me. So, recently, I go into my local videogame store around payday looking for me a portable RPG to play. Sadly, the Nintendo DS nor the PSP didn't have any games that I hadn't already played so I took a look at the Gameboy Advance section. While there were other games I wanted to play, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories won out in the end. I don't know whether it was outstanding boxart, the fact that the store clerk told me it was an excellent game, or the fact that Donald and Goofy appealed to my inner child...the more I looked at the game, the more I wanted it.

Unfourtunately I have not gotten my hands on this game yet but I do love Kingdom hearts and since it's kingdom hearts it cant be that bad. Even though I havent played it I have done a lot of reserch on it and it is a good game other than the whole card thing. It is pretty important if you are going to be playing kingdom hearts 2 because this game comes between kh1 and 2 which are both great games. If you dont play it it wont be imposible to understand kh2 but it will help. If you like seeing good graphix and stuff this is a must have gba game. great model small enough for SP models of GBA
ok i own a older model from a company not really affiliated with nintendo, it works ok for the older GBAs, but i also own a GBA/SP model and it jams the sholder buttons. this model directly from nintendo is small enough to fit between the buttons on a SP model *great for Zelda:FSA *Four Swords Adventures* and still big enough to fit on the older models.

It makes a HUGE difference...
When it comes to the GC/GBA Cable.You wouldnt think that something this inexpensive could make a difference in the way you play video games.But it does it unlocks secrets of all kinds in Gamecube games, sometimes it gives you access to secret areas/maps/items and various other thing.

It's too bad
This game has 5 great titles of classic games! They are Ms. Pac Man, Galaga, Galaxian, Dig Dug and Pole Postion. This sounds pretty decent, but really, no fun is coming out of this. Here's the reviews on the games
Daughter Loved It
I bought this game for my 9-year old daughter for her Nintendo DS and she absolutely loves it.Whenever she plays, this is the game she chooses most often!!!

Great fun for 4 year old learning to use GameBoy, as well as his Dad!
