3-0 out of 5 stars a return to form? no, but perhaps an improvement..
I'll start by pointing out that I have not played the other Sonic Advance games, so I don't know how this compares. I do know how it compares to the old Genesis games though, and that is negatively.
2-0 out of 5 stars THIS GAME IS SO STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This game is stupid because the sp rings are hard to find, plus the levels are too boring and last the boss attacks get harder when you finish a level.PS. Don't EVER GET THIS GAME!!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars tottally cool from every point of view
This game is tottally cool. My game is in Japanese, though. I can't win the level 5 flying land one. Although the game has about 10-15 levels I really like playing it. I love playing it all the time. I always play with Cream because her Chao does the fighting and she can fly. I secandly like playing Tails because he can fly more distance than Cream. And there is a secert character,Amy! That's right the girl that likes Sonic is here. You must beat the whole game though. It was hard doing that. I still play all the time and occasionly. I even have a special stratagy:ALWAYS PLAY WITH CREAM OR AMY! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Pleasing, but a bit too easy.
Igot this game thinking it would be nice and challenging, unfortunately I was wrong!I completed the game (and the special world)in two days flat! the gameplay well, the mini-games are fun but a bit easy and I found all the bosses to easy. overall I would rate this great but not realy a must-buy.

5-0 out of 5 stars A bit surprising
When I was about 5 I was dissapointed in spyro the dragon, because of his gay even naughty color of his skin. Then I got introduced to Crash Bandicoot. I was freakin' in love with those games. I mean like, who could ignore the really cool wumpa fruit Bazuka? Now lets get to the review.
5-0 out of 5 stars Crash has turned Purple?!
Crash Bandicoot Purple is a game where there is full of mini-games and cool adventures.

4-0 out of 5 stars Frustrating at times, but cute.......
I'm a 31 year old mother of 2 boys 6 & 12. I love to play Spyro & my kids do to. It's one of only 4 video games I do play. My opinion on this double set is first it's a great deal to get both games in one. It is a cute game, but certain subsections of each world are almost too frustrating to play. At one point I had to go online to find the walkthrough because I couldn't figure out how to quit getting stung by bees(you'll know it when you get to it) & I got very frustrated. Then I found out at that website that I could have never figured it out on my own without the cheat information (lead the bee to a flower by running since flame or charging won't kill it). They could've done without things like that because it makes certain parts way too hard & even impossible at times for an average player. My best advice is if you are playing for fun & not just to beat another Spyro game, just skip those hard sections & keep going. There are plenty of fun parts & you can always come back after you've completed everything & put yourself up for a challenge. Also remember you are getting 2 games, not just one. I just wouldn't suggest this for a very young player that likes simple games. My 6 year old gets too frustrated at those parts I was describing & ends up quitting unless we help him beat that world or section. So it is a cute game, but parts of it do get very challenging & sometimes even hopeless, but it keeps me busy when the kids are in school.LOL.Good Luck.

2-0 out of 5 stars Ugh
I bought this game, really excited because I loved Spyro and Crash on Playstation, but I wish I had read the reviews first. It's not only boring, but irritatingly difficult. I bought this at the same time I bought my GBA, and I hope that other games are better.

2-0 out of 5 stars Don't Waste Your Money: Handheld Spyro STINKS
Okay, first the crummy boring storyline, then the fact that it's almost imppossible to control and the fact that I can't tell the end of a cliff from a lake ( They're the same color ) so I fall off all the time, also since you can hardly steer, it's hard to aim at enemies, so I end up getting killed. Buy the Spyro games for PS2 and gamecube but leave this one OUT. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars WAY BETTER THAN THE FARCE NUMBER FOUR!
This is what should have been the sequel instead of the crappy farce Battle Network Four. The graphics are way better, the story is way better, the end is more satisfying, and the best part is that you don't have to restart to get everything like in the stupid part four. If you hated part four or did not think it was that good, you will be pleasantly surprised by this great game.

1-0 out of 5 stars Disney Falls Into a Pot-Hole (pun intented)With This Uninspired Racing Game
Let me start out by saying I was ready, willing and able to enjoy this game. The concept is promising: you play as a talking race car named ''Herbie'' (the game is inspired by the recent Disney movie) and race around for no apparent reason. This haspotential for being an enjoyable game, but ''Herbie'' moves EXTREMELY slowly, and this subtracts a great deal of fun from the game. The graphics are passable (especially for a hand-held) but they can't make up for the HORRIBLE game-play. I can't really recommend this game to anyone, even those who are at an age where they are fascinated by cars...I doubt if they could find any thing even remotely entertaining in this...thing. SKIP THIS GAME.

2-0 out of 5 stars herbie, what gives?
i really wanted to play this but i have a ds! why should it only be for gba! and not for gamecube or ds or ps2. at least give it for 3 systems! ugh worst progress and unfairness since elf the game! :-(

2-0 out of 5 stars BEWARE--YOU WILL NOT GET 14 GAMES FOR THE GBA!
The 14 games that are advertised do not exist on the GBA edition--only five!Apparently, 14 games are available for other platforms, and hence the confusion. Also, if you already own the Namco Museum for for the GBA, you will only get two new games (Rally-X and Pac-Man). Both the Museum and Museum 50th Anniversary versions include Ms. Pac-Man, DigDug and Galaga. The Namco Museum includes Pole Position which is not in the 50th Anniversary Edition. In my opinion, many of the games in the Namco Museum seem to play better, but the 50th Anniversary Edition permits you to rotate the games sideways (not sure it helps much).
1-0 out of 5 stars FALSE ADVERTISING!!!
"Contains 14 of the best Namco original arcade titles ever" is what Amazon.com claims, but the box clearly says, "features 5 classic aracde hits".
3-0 out of 5 stars Portable Nostalgia
I always seem to know what makes a classic video game, a legendary one these days. Nevertheless, it seems like those old eras with the exciting arcades and video game halls have been considered a thing of the past. It is sadly a constant in what is around us right now. Nevertheless, it still is great to actualy see what makes classics still stand. That has been the case with classics like Pac-Man, who've recently been brought around as newer rendidtions like Pac Pix for the Nintendo DS, and Pac-Man World 3 which has been light years away from the previous edition back in the mid 90's. Now, those classics can be made in the palm of your hand.

But if you like challenges that take weeks to finish this game is not for you! Still fun, even though there are only like six levels, seven monsters (only six are playable) and the graphics are cartoony. I have this game and it is so much fun. mine might be a different version, i dont know, but this game is absolutely fantastic. the graphics are amazing, it's not too hard or too easy, the driving games are a lot of fun, the dancing games are cool too, and the minigames you unlock are really great. i love how you can choose the 'easy' setting or 'normal' setting. this game rocks! you have got to get it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Prepare to be Schooled!
Unlike previous Yu-Gi-Oh games, this one is more than just duels. It also is about schools! You've got the normal battling to earn points to build decks. But, you also have monthly exam days that consist of written exams (10 multiple choice questions out of a large number of possible questions) about the cards themselves, a timed duel where you have to win with the cards in the setup in a set amount of time, and then a practical exam using a deck and having to perform the specified actions for the exam (play traps, play spells, do fusions, do rituals, do direct damage, etc.).This game requires a lot of knowledge of the card game over all.
