Editorial Review

Kirby, that pink puffy resident hero of Dream Land, embarks on another adventure to save his neighbors from King Dedede, who has interrupted everyone's peaceful dreams. Kirby must collect the scattered pieces of the Star Rod and restore the Fountain of Dreams. How's he going to do this? By copying the bad guys' best moves and eating--yes, eating--them and their weapons. One copy of the game supports up to four players (via the separately sold Game Link Cable) with special mini games, but if there's a copy of the game in Game Boy Advance, players can play cooperatively through the game. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars A fun ride...the second time around too!
It usually takes me weeks to finish a game, but I devoured this one in a day. Soon after finishing it,I started it again and enjoyed it just as much as before. I have now completed the game six times and aiming for seven. It is easy to play without being simplistic and entertaining while not too complicated. As I have said, the plot is somewhat thin,so don't be to dissapointed by this aspect. Overall, this is a fun game that can played quickly but can be enjoyed many times.
4-0 out of 5 stars Kirby's glory days revisited on the GBA
Nightmare in Dream Land's story is simple: King DeDeDe has stolen the Rod of Dreams, which in turn takes away the people of Dream Land's dreams. It is up to Kirby to get it back and restore everyones dreams.
5-0 out of 5 stars Cute and fun.
I like this game. Amazing Mirror has more copy abilities, but I can't figure that game out. This one is easier. I like Kirby, Frogger: Temple of the Frog, and Zapper. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars I thought it was going to be good...it was horrible!!!!!
this game is really bad.the whole time, you are trying to blow up things.i got bored after 5 minutes of the game.the yule ball is the only fun part.you may like this game, but i could never recommend it.i liked raven 2 and the incredibles much better.

5-0 out of 5 stars It's Fun!
My seven-year-old is a huge Harry Potter fan.About this game, hesays, "I like it.It's really fun.I haven't been to any parts I don't like.I like the part in the school because you have to fight lots of guys.I haven't seen the maze yet. It's a little bit hard."
3-0 out of 5 stars Fun puzzle adventure game, a little too easy
I enjoyed this game, but it was very easy to master. There were enough puzzles to keep it interesting and I played it through a few times just for the fun of it.I liked the music at the Yule Ball.

3-0 out of 5 stars Easily beaten in a sitting, but what an amazing remake
When I first sat down with this game, I was in total awe. With updated graphics, remixed music, better sounds, newer areas, and a map (yes, for the young kids, the original Metroid had no map!), it's a Classic Metroid fanboy's fantasy. You even play as suitless Samus in a stealth mission, armed only with an automatic-charging pistol (this part is definitely one of the toughest parts in the game, since the pistol only stuns and the Space Pirates take off 100 HP when they touch you or shoot you). The game even tells you where to go by using Chozo statues, making it much less frustration. However, this is also a problem. The game is easily beaten in 1-2 hours in one sitting due to the fact that you know where to go with the Chozo statues and the new weapons. When you get to Tourian, the Metroids are easily destroyed, as opposed to how you drop off the elevator in the original and next thing you know 2 or 3 Metroids are sucking you bone dry, and you watch as your health just goes from full to 0 in 10 seconds. Also the bosses are sissies (especially Ridley, who screeches like a little girl while you stand under him and bombard him with missiles.Yes this is a strategy on how to easily beat Ridley), but I can't say the same for Mother Brain (who is actually far tougher than in the original), who actually uses energy waves to damage you alot this time. But still, this is an excellent, fun to play remake of such a classic game.Once you finish this game, you'll understand how the Metroid series has been classified as one of the greatest video game series of all time.

4-0 out of 5 stars It is an overall improvement
Overall, I like Metroid: Zero Mission better than the original Metroid. Here are the improvements of one game to the next:
4-0 out of 5 stars Hand in Hand with Metroid Fusion
THE GOOD: Classic 2D platformer Metroid; crips controls and gameplay; sweet graphics and awesome remixed music; challenging

5-0 out of 5 stars Buy it now! Play it forever! By Bridget

5-0 out of 5 stars It's so cool and I won the whole game
I won this game! I won the peach dome(after you win Open Island). Anyway, enough about the bragging. It is so cool! Elroy was hard and I only beat him once. And I guess I should'nt have bragged because I set it on Easy :( The best part is playing as Paula. These players are in vararsity so you probably don't know them unless you got there. When I was facing Will(in Open Island) he was TOUGH! And my character was lv.41 when I faced him. I was on singles. When I played him on doubles HE WAS TOUGHER! Tori was easy on singles. Enough about the memories. Now I'll talk about the bad and good things on a list.

5-0 out of 5 stars I'm really happy with my gameboy advance SP!
gameboy sp is really fun because there are a bunch of cool games you can play on it. imagine if you had a portable videogame, but instead of having just one game, you had a whole bunch of really awesome games. trust me...its cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars I love my gameboy advance sp it is so cool!
i got this for christmas about 2 1/2 years ago and it still works like new this is a great sytem you will love it is a good gift for anybody and there is and almost endless posobility of good game choices and it plays both gamboy color and game boy advance games overalll the sp deserves 5 stars

5-0 out of 5 stars Better than the original
I originally had the gameboy advance, but I got tired of it, so I bought the Gameboy Advance SP. It is way bettter than the original, because it can fold, has a built in light (the other one's screen was pretty dark), and it looks better. It has a rechargable battery so you don't have to buy batteries, but when you first get it (new), you have to charge it before playing, which is annoying. It is also annoying not being able to just pop in new batteries and start playing, you have to wait two hours. You plug the charger into the wall, and into the gamboyto charge it. In other words, you can't charge it without the adapter thing. Once or twice, you may put your game in and it acts like the game is not there. In that case, take the game out and put it in again. Overall, it is a very good product, and as my title says, better than the original. I would give it 4 1/2 to 5 stars, and it is AWESOME! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Not amazing, but better than average....
This game has been out for sometime in Japan and as usual this sort of RPGs take a while to reach other regions. The settings and gameplay are relatively simple for an RPG as if it is directed to newbies or less experienced gamers. The core of the game is the "syntesis" system, in which you are given new techniques to build yourself the weaponery of your choice. The system itself is fairly interesting and adds more depth to the gameplay.
4-0 out of 5 stars Better than expected
There's not many new games coming out for the GBA these days, and there's even fewer that are anything close to above average. Now I know what you're thinking, another RPG on the GBA?Yes, the only difference is that Summon Night is incredibly easy to get into and pick up and play, even if you're not usually into RPG's.It's been out for a while overseas, and thanks to Atlus (who also recently brought over Super Robot Taisen for the GBA, and the sequel to that is well on it's way) this return to the roots of classic RPG gaming can be enjoyed on the GBA.Graphically it's nothing special and looks like a first generation Super NES game, but the involving and lengthy story, innovative battle system, and addictive gameplay set Summon Night apart from most of the pack of RPG's that populate the GBA.It's better than expected and definitely worth picking up for RPG fans still holding on to their GBA's, and even some DS owners may want to give it a look.

4-0 out of 5 stars Blacksmiths go to war
The story in Summon Night: Swordcraft Story revolves around a tournament aimed at deciding a new Craftlord for the city of Wystern. Although you can choose to play the game as a male or female character, the premise remains that your chosen character (whom you can name) will aim to follow the footsteps of your deceased father - himself a great Craftlord for the city. This begins an adventure that, while being generally short and simple, still packs in a measure of solid gameplay, and a lot of fun.

1-0 out of 5 stars there is no point in this game!!
i love the sims for gba.. or the other ones at least... you can skip episodes and it just doesn't make any sence.. get the urbz or bustin out cause this stinks....

4-0 out of 5 stars "To my counting down to destruction!!!Five...Four...Two...Three..."---Emperor Xizzle
I finished "Sims Bustin' Out" (twice) and couldn't wait to try "Sims 2."In many ways this game is a lot different. Some elements are still there, including a few familiar characters like Dusty Hogg, Misty Waters and Giuseppi Mezzoalto and picking up stuff off the ground for recycling, but a lot has changed. 1-0 out of 5 stars This game blows
I was really excited to get the game...until a began playing it.The forced story line is not what I expected.I got through the game only because I wanted to see what was next in hopes that it got better (which it didn't).The side games are pretty lame. The only one I continued to play was kheel haulin cards. It was a decent game except when the computer takes YOUR cards at random! That was really frustrating. The game has no instruction on how to really play it, and why it is ok for the computer to take your cards and you can not take theirs.I wanted to throw the game against the wall a couple of times for sure.

5-0 out of 5 stars Biblical Role Playing Fun!
Note: For those who have read my Xbox review, I won't make this review so long...:)
1-0 out of 5 stars Even God would give it 0 stars!
I dont want to get into the religious thing because regardless of whatever affiliation this game would have had, its terrible.First, I'll get the obvious questions out of the way.Yes, Satan and his minions are in it in all their pitchforked and horned glory (although they're called "Master Deceiver" and "deceivers" respectively.)Yes, Hell is one of the levels, although its not quite as scary as, say, Doom 3.And yes, the goal is to obtain God's armor, battle your way through hell and defeat the "Master Deceiver" and his minions by answering trivia questions, stomping on the spider-like minions, and throwing holy water at the bad guys. Sounds bizarrly fun, but it stinks...BAD.

4-0 out of 5 stars Hard to find
This was a hard game to find. I guess it has been out for a while. The only thing I don't like about this is you can't start from scratch. There is no option to create a new file. Therefore if you buy a used one, you miss out on collecting the pokemon.
3-0 out of 5 stars Good for short term play but mindless pinball in the long term.
I bought this game today and have been playing it most of the day (about 8 hours max). The review is correct, it is a fun game but there is very little to keep you playing again and again in the long run.Still, it's a game i would take out now and then to play during car trips since it has a very good save feature that lets you save mid-game.

3-0 out of 5 stars Average side scrolling beat 'em up, Star Wars style
Believe it or not, this GBA version of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, is better than it's home console coutnerparts.Saying that though, isn't really much.Revenge of the Sith for the GBA is an average side scrolling beat 'em up with the Star Wars label slapped on it for good measure as you can choose to play as Obi-Wan Kenobi or Anakin Skywalker as each has different paths to go on.No matter who you play as, you know where the game will inevitably end, but the different courses for the characters offer up some nice replayability. The levels are similar throughout as you take on hordes of robots and enemy troops, as well as taking on Count Dooku and concluding with an epic battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin. The graphics are nicely drawn and superbly animated, even though they look too cartoony at many points throughout the game. The sound effects are wonderfully done, as is the digitized music (even though no real music from the Sith movie is here) which is a nice touch. The controls however can be unresponsive at many times, particularly when trying to do some of the Jedi moves. However, Revenge of the Sith is still one of the better GBA games you'll come across nowadays, and Star Wars nuts will find plenty to admire here regardless.

5-0 out of 5 stars VERY FUN!
I thought that the game was lots of fun. But I thought that the game was a little TOO easy. Maybe thats because I play Gameboy alot or something, but still, they could have tried a bit harder to make it more challenging.

5-0 out of 5 stars BEST GAME IN HISTORY!
Igot this toy for Christmas eve and I started to play it and it was so cool I got to the 5 scene! although the scene where you duel count dooku is hard but I got past it!

3-0 out of 5 stars Great fun, too easy
I got this game 2 days ago and I already beat it. It was really fun and I especially loved designing the cafe.I'm not really sure what age level this is for and I'm 11 so it may be for younger kids. The mini games were all pretty boring except for the rollarblading game. It was also really cool that you could talk on a cell phone. If you want a game that will last a while, don't buy it. I guess this would be okay for a kid maybe 8 years old.

1-0 out of 5 stars BORING
I am Arianna and I am 10 yrs old. I bought this game and when i started playing it it was fun. I finished the game the day after. I was like "THAT'S IT?!?!?!?!"I thought the game was too easy

5-0 out of 5 stars Funn!!
This game is so much fun to play. I just bought it today and I'm attached!! You can change your hair, clothes, everything!! You have a house and you can go to a bunch of stores. The mini games are a little lame sometimes but most of them aren't that easy. Atleast one or two are hard. Your girl can text message her friends and call them. She has a phone book and people can call her cell and tell her stuff. This game is sooo much fun!! I love this game and I recommend it to everyone!! Buy this game today..you will not be dissapointed! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Care Bear Fun
My daughter got this for her birthday and was so excited to get it that she didn't want to open the rest of her gifts until after she tried it out. Then, pulling her off of the Game Boy to open the rest of her gifts was nearly impossible. She enjoyed it so much. She usually asks her older siblings to help her get from level to level on other games, but has never had to ask for help with this one.

3-0 out of 5 stars A difficult game...
My 7 year old son got this game for his 8th birthday. He and his 6 year old brother played with it for about a month and they got stuck and gave up.I looked into it myself and I got as far as the 2nd level before I got stuck.I checked into the internet about this game and there were complaints about getting stuck in a level or they can't get around a particular spot or they can't find an item they need to collect. The graphics are real nice.Just like the movie. But it's a bit hard for some people in my opinion.I am selling it to replace it with some other game for the boys...
