5-0 out of 5 stars I'm a middle-aged adult male and I love this game!
It is extremely hard to stop playing this game, which is good because it is important that you consistently play it because it has game elements that change with time that are more associated with online games and it is not online!

4-0 out of 5 stars Trip Back in Time
I have an Xbox but when I purchased this game it was like stepping back in time. I spent more time playing the atari than I ever had my Xbox.

2-0 out of 5 stars ... And in The Beginning, there was Atari...
What a blast from the past. I bought the Atari Flashback 2.0 as a sort-of-joke present for my sister's birthday a few months ago. My girlfriend returned the favor for my birthday just last week, and we took it with us on vacation, to a peaceful lakeside cabin where there's little more than a few books and a television that gets no reception to pass the time. My daughter and I spent a few hours over the course of three days playing pretty much every one of the 40 games included.
2-0 out of 5 stars A flawed little gem
It's a shame that once again what should have been a great little system was rushed out onto market with little or no QA testing. Out of the 40 games included, over a dozen will be unfamiliar to most people since they're either new titles created just for the FB2 or old ones that were never released (and the reason they weren't is because they're not fun to play). Rather strange considering this system is called the "Flashback".Most of the new games are hacked versions of older ones, with some being completely unplayable due to poor programmer.Actually some of the built-in games don't even run correctly! The lineup of titles included is pretty weak overall, considering there were 100s of games that were released for the original Atari 2600.I suppose an argument can be made as to why games like 3D Tic-Tac-Toe and Video Checkers are included, but I personally don't remember playing them very much (and Video Chess runs so slowly, nobody would waste time trying to play it these days). Centipede and Millipede are great games, but why do we need both here? And why clunkers like Human Cannonball were included instead of more well-known games like Space Invaders makes no sense.

2-0 out of 5 stars Did You Like the SNES Version?
Mario Kart Super Circuit for Game Boy Advance is best compared to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) counterpart. If you began liking Mario Kart with the Nintendo 64 version, then the GBA version will not live up to your expectations. However, I have friends who prefer the SNES version; so if you are one of those, consider the GBA version an upgrade from the SNES version.
5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME GAME
This game is worth buying. I especially love the booby-traps like the pokey turtle and the banana peel. It is a super game and I am soooo happy someone just gave it to me in August 2006! Even though its an old game, it is very worth it!

    3-0 out of 5 stars it's O.K.

Before I got my Advance SP I mostly played my Color system. It doesn't even have a backlight like the Advance SP. I's have to use a stinken light when I play it and it also has horrible graphics. If your wanting to get a Game Boy for your son or daughter get the Advance SP.

4-0 out of 5 stars Hard to find
This was a hard game to find. I guess it has been out for a while. The only thing I don't like about this is you can't start from scratch. There is no option to create a new file. Therefore if you buy a used one, you miss out on collecting the pokemon.
3-0 out of 5 stars Good for short term play but mindless pinball in the long term.
I bought this game today and have been playing it most of the day (about 8 hours max). The review is correct, it is a fun game but there is very little to keep you playing again and again in the long run.Still, it's a game i would take out now and then to play during car trips since it has a very good save feature that lets you save mid-game.

4-0 out of 5 stars its not bad
i got this as a b-day present and it wasnt bad. your raven in the game, inaracting with friends and going to places raven did in the hit tv show. it is a bit easy for me(im 12)and its too hard for my 6 year old sister so ill say 11 year olds will find it perfect. the graphics are disturbing because they are horrible and most of the time i play i focus on the graphics and they keep me from playing right. i also have that so raven 2 and its waaay better. if you are a 10-12 year old fan, than be my guest and get this game but if you dislike the show this will be diffucult and boring because you will be saying "who the heck is this person and why are they talking to me" and if your younger than 10, STAY AWAY. if you are looking for prefection you wont find it here. sorry raven, great show but your games arent so good!

5-0 out of 5 stars very cool
this is a great game thats for any age! its hard sometimes but if you play it allot youll get it. this is a game you should get because its just fun to play and its pretty long. if you have a game boy advance you should take advantage and buy this game because its only available for game boy!good luck and hope you get this game!

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Strategy Game
LOTR The Third Age is a turn-based strategy game. You first choose your commander which you will control for ever level except for training (which I reccomend you take). For the good: Aragorn, Elrond, and Gandalf. For the bad: The Witch King, The Mouth of Sauron (only seen in ROTK Extended), and Sauruman. Then you almost every level you choose a companion (up to 3) to fight with you in Middle Earth. For the Good: Theoden, Boromir, Eowyn, Faramir, Eomer, Gimli, or Legolas. And for the bad: Grishnakh, Lurtz, Ugluk, Gothmog, Gorbag, Sharku, or Wormtongue. You can also unlock Haldir, and Shagrat, but I'm not quite sure how.
1-0 out of 5 stars Why do programmers have to do that?
Got this game for my game boy and it is the worst one to date about cheating. There is nothing random about the games random number generator. You have heros that have different number of moves they can make (0-4) which depends on the hero in question. I was so impressed with the one sided nature of the number gen that I had to collect some data and crunch the numbers. The game average for the enemy is ~70%. The average for the player is ~25%. Game programmers need to get off the crutch of cheating with there numbers to make a game interesting. That is the lazy way to do it. I cannot recommend this game to anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best strategy game EVER for Game Boy Advance
This game is very, very, very, very fun. Don't buy it expecting an experience akin to the GameCube Third Age, though- this game comes to GBA as a strategy game, not a full-fledged RPG. The battles are intense and demand careful consideration for each move, lest your forces be eradicated by your computer opponent. The Third Age uses a turn-based battle system that reminds me of chess, the number of units you can move varying according to your commander's leadership skills. Their are six commanders total to choose from, my favorites being Aragorn and the Witch King. You can play this game as either good or evil. I like being good because it feels so good to destroy those nasty orcs, but I like being evil because then I don't feel so guilty when one of my units dies. Another cool feature of this game is that you can not only link up with others who own this game, you can also play two-player hotseat multiplayer on just one system. The bottom line? An awesome game for those who either like strayegy games or LOTR games or both. I couldn't stand Advance Wars, but I love the Third Age. I'm still waiting on Nintendo to come out with LOTR games for the DS.... ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Game Boy Color
I don't see all the hype in this portable gaming device. The games graphics are so terrible (So is Game Boy Advance). The only good Nintendo graphics is the brand new Nintendo DS which has Nintendo 64 graphics which isn't too shabby. But I really hate the Pocket and Color because it's a waste of money. Why would you get something in black and white with terrible graphics and then get one with only some colors (It's not that good) and plus the addition of bad graphics...now that's what I call a bad deal.
4-0 out of 5 stars great and fun
this isnt bad i have it and it works great i think this is better then alot of older systems like game boy or super nt but still its a good system.

3-0 out of 5 stars Ok..... but not as good as ngpc.
I got this system last year and it worked fine until a month ago. then the sound blew out. Also the graphics on many games suck. Still it's a hardysystem and I would recommend buying it if you like a classic look in color, but if you want something with good graphics, nice small comfortable size, and a motherload of great games, buy an NGCP(neogeo pocket color). ... 5-0 out of 5 stars OLD SCHOOL ROCKS!
This is the perfect gameboy to play those old school games like Super Mario, Worio, and Kirby. Some of those games just aren't meant to be in color. You can play thousands of fun games on this and since it is older the games are cheaper like $5. These games are what all the new games are based on. Graphics and other high tech stuff doesn't matter because you can still have a blast without them.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Power of the Pocket
Relatively speaking, the Game Boy Pocket is an extremely old handheld system. It's outdated and quite ancient. However, when I owned a Game Boy Pocket (actually, I lost mine just a little over two weeks ago), I had a great deal of amusement with it. Why? Simply because I felt that regardless of the lack of color or high-tech gadgets that many systems had nowadays, my trusty Game Boy Pocket was still "fun". In fact, I hear the new Nintendo DS has no Game Boy functionality - only a Game Boy Advance port (which I own not). That's another reason why I may not get that particular system.

This is such a perfect game for the GBA (or gameboy micro) because many of us who play these handhelds play them in short spurts, when we have 5 or 10 minutes of downtime here and there, we need a game that can be fun that gives instant gratification.

This game is ok. Some tricks are to easy and some are impossible. I plated it in my cousins house. I refused to by it.It is stupid. I will never play it again, not even at my cousins.

3-0 out of 5 stars good for a while

5-0 out of 5 stars This Is a Great Game Boy!
I have had this system for at least 5 years and is is still running like NEW! I have dropped is tons of tines on the floor(not to mention the pavement)And not even a rattle from inside.I suggest several games (some of my favorites)Daffy Duck Fowl Play,Super Marieo Bros. Deluxe,And Dogz Virutal pets.Buy This system It is great and a Great price if I Had the money I would buy another one myself.
4-0 out of 5 stars How good is the GameBoy Color System?
Well, I bought my GameBoy System a few months before the GameBoy Advance was released :( (bummer, i should have waited)
5-0 out of 5 stars Great handheld system, great price
I got my Game Boy Color for Chrsitmas last eyar along with several games. This is by afr the best handheld system availible price-wise. The system is...cheaper than teh new Game BOy Advance if you buy it used and the games are ...cheaper as well. The graphics may not be top notch, but don't let that fool you. There many great games including the traditional Nintendo games like Donkey Kong Country and Mario games, sports games liek Madden, All-Star Baseball and Ronaldo Soccer. There is a huge library of games with hudnreds availible. ...This is way better than the bulky Game Boy and much lighter and smaller. THe only problem with it is the buttons are to close and too small which causes a problem for people with big hands like me.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The best RPG of the pre Game boy advance era
This was the greatest RPG ever made for the gameboy (yes even better than any lame Gameboy color RPG except Dragon warrior 3 was good but not better). It was good for it's time. Sometimes some of the lines the characters say can be cheesy but it was a classic. If you are big on old school hndhelds please get this game. you'll be happy you did.

4-0 out of 5 stars With each new Legends game, it just gets better and better.
I remember really enjoying this game. The graphics are remarkably more in detail then the previous Legend games. Role-playing games have something in common which is you need a pen and paper to write down stuff people say to you.I don't remember writing a lot but you see a cave you cannot get to yet, then you would want to write down the grid; the number of squares across and down. Therefore, if you do that then you will not have to worry about it so much. I remember walking around sometimes going "where do I go" but here again if you look back at what people have said to you then you will be pointed in the right direction. I liked the game, for me the frustration level was rare.If you like older games then this will be a fun one for you

    3-0 out of 5 stars 3-and-a-half-stars; nostalgia
Final Fantasy Legend III (part of the Saga series in Japan, billed as Final Fantasy in the U.S. to boost sales) is actually a decent game, despite dated Mode-7 graphics and cheesy pre-GBA sounds. It's a standard 4-person-party RPG that requires some tedious leveling, equipment upgrades, and several quests across a variety of settings. The storyline had a lot of potential, and while incomplete at parts, should leave you satisfied at the end.Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars You do not need fancy graphics to enjoy a good game.
I remember this game being pretty simple graphics wise if a bit less than Final Fantasy Adventure was, but still you didn't have to pretend the blue was water and the green was land; like Nobunaga's Ambition. You have to remember the age of this game so you can forgive the graphics. I played the Final Fantasy Legend games one after the other in 2001 and enjoyed the experience. For nostalgia it was great but if you haven't played or do not like older games you would not like this one.

3-0 out of 5 stars Okay.... I guess....
I bought this game because I thought it was FF.But its not!It actually SaGa or SagGe or something.2-0 out of 5 stars Despite nostalgia, still a poor game
There is no doubt that Final Fantasy Legend (SaGa in Japan, billed as Final Fantasy in the United States to boost sales) was a highly advanced game for its time (1989).However, it offers nothing that its sequel doesn't offer, and the game is, shall we say, very poor. Not having the advantage of color that its contemporaries (Dragon Warrior, Final Fantasy) had, the graphics are so poor that they were actually bad in 1989, which says a lot.The story is about as simplistic as they come, and you should be able to beat this game in a few hours no problem.Considering its limited availability now, I doubt anyone will really want to play this game - trust me, you aren't missing anything. My fellow "old school" RPG players will call me a heretic, but this game has nothing memorable to offer.Skip it. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Short'n easy, but addicting!!!
Ironically, this was my second Kirby game that i brought. The first Kirby game i had brought was Dreamland 2. Even though it's the easiest game in my Video Game library, it's still great. I've played it several times and yet, i'm not yet bored of the game. It was basic and all, yet great. Ya see, i have a policy about games. Every vacations (winter midwinter, summer, regents week, etc, i replay all of my gameboy games (old and new) that way, i won't be bored, and i wouldn't be neglecting them. The graphics and the music i felt were good and the gameplay was average.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not as good.
In the game Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland was way better. This game you do not even get powers and the bosses are short. If you like this game, you will like Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland.

5-0 out of 5 stars kirbys awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a huge fan of kirby. the first kirby game i got was kirbys dreamland 2. i decided i had to get the first one. it only took me 30 minutes to beat it, but it was awesome and addicting. after you beat the game you get hard mode, and i havent beaten that yet. the levels are good but sometimes get complicated. the hardest one is bubbly clouds (stage 4). If you are a kirby fan or collector, then get this, Youll love it. ... Read more

I have the original version and loved it so I had to get this one. I liked even more than the first one. the color is way better. It is a lot like the first one though but even better. You ggot to get this one trust me. It teaches you about team work. It is another awesome Mary-Kate and Ashley game.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Get A Clue Game Boy Game
This game was an exciting way to try to figure out your way around problems.I thought it was a game you could learn from and a game for any kid.I thought it was a challenging and was a fun way to use stratagy.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty fun
To my surprise I thought this video game was really fun. The game play was great. You have to switch from Mary-Kate, Ashley, and their dog Clue to complete each level. One thing bad about it is that a little kid might have a hard time with it, sometimes the levels are kind of hard to get passed because you fall and have to start over, but others are really easy and you can breeze through them. I recommend this game to everyone. ... Read more
