Classic GB Gaming
...at it's best.The only reason I write this is because, yes, I own a 10 year old game, but even (especially) since I got my GBA I want to hold on to the classics, and this is definitely one of the lesser known ones, with a unique genre.There's really no puzzling anything out, it's all covert seek and destroy or be destroyed submarine warfare with the Red October, as you try to make it to US shores to defect.What makes this game great is the AI..impressive for a game boy, you can play hide and seek with subs, hovercrafts, destroyers, jets (?!) or lure them to their untimely destruction.There's 8 levels of this, all with a unique layout and catchy music.If you want to start a game boy classic collection, make sure this is in it! ... DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME
This game takes horrible to a new level! On a 1-5 scale I give it a -9999999. The graphics are bad, spiderman's and everyone else's moves are limited, the sound effects are....(lets not even go there) and the game is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. You would get frustrated, you would be ripping your hair out......... basically your life will get miserable. You will keep loosing no matter how hard you try. Even if you use a game genie. WHO THE HELL DESIGNED THIS VIDEO GAME? I WOULD LOVE TO KNOCK THEM OUT!!!!!!!!!

A must-have for Game Boy owners and NBA fans
I have about 15 Game Boy games, yet I haven�t played most of them in almost two years.Still, NBA Jam stands out as one of the best I own.The graphics as nothing to write home about (that�s old hat with many GB games), but that really makes no difference.The team duos (2-on-2 games) are some of the best the 90�s NBA games have to offer.But Michael Jordan is not featured; instead it�s Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant.The best duo team goes to the Hornets for Larry Johnson and Alonzo Mourning.The attributes of most of the players are appropriate, as they don�t allow people like Rik Smits to make 3-pointers or John Stockton to dunk.And when the players who can dunk actually do, it�s more than entertaining.There�s 10 different jams you can do, but you don�t get to choose which one you�re doing.Also (since you won�t have a booklet), in order to dunk, you HAVE to push the turbo button at the same time as shoot.Otherwise you�ll just be shooting lay-ups all day, which is depressing just hearing it said.Getting �on fire� is crucial for this game.It�s pretty rare to have it happen, but when it does: SHOOT!You won�t miss a shot unless it�s a full-courter, and you might even make that!And when on fire, that�s your only chance to do the infamous summersault-spin dunk (run straight down the court at turbo speed and jump from the free-throw line).All in all, this is probably the best Game Boy game I own.And it�s worth the money if you still even have a Game Boy machine.If you can, try to get the booklet; otherwise you can e-mail me if you have any questions.Here�s the team duos and my 1-10 rankings:Read more

A decent port of the arcade classic
In the late eighties, the Irem video game corporation made a name for themselves with the revolutionary R-Type side-scrolling space shooter series. Of all the side-scrolling shooters ever released for video game systems, this is perhaps the most innovative one of all, due to its unique game play style.
