GREAT BUY
I bought this for my son. I like the fact it came in different colors. Now we can tell which one belongs to my son and which one belongs to my daughter. Great item to have in the car.

GBA SP Car Adaptor is quite handy......
I have a young child, age 6, who takes his GBA nearly wherever he goes.Since he is so young, he often forgets to remind me to recharge his console.Therefore, the adaptor can be a real lifesaver when the batteries fade, and an unhappy child is looking for something to busy himself with during a long car ride.

Umm.. the review is off a bit.
The whole premise of the GBA SP is that it doesn't have batteries! It's a rechargable unit. You can buy this, but I can only think of a few times where it may come in useful. The GBA SP has a battery life of approx. 8-10 hours with the light on, and 18-20 with it off. Now if you're going on a long car ride with children and they aren't going to shut it off all the way there, or you won't be stopping at a hotel, I could see purchasing this. Sound is great!
Sound is better quality than speaker in actual console.Make sure you use good earphones.

Works fine - Annoying to require special earphones
I bought the earphone adapter so that my son can play our Game Boy on a flight without annoying everyone or having to battle with him to keep the volume down.I tried it out with Mario World and it works fine and sounds as good as synthesized, cheesy, videogame music could sound.I agree that it is annoying to have to spend the extra money for special earphones, though all the game consoles try to nickel and dime you.Same deal with the Game Cube:Oh, you wanted *two* controllers with that?Oh, you wanted to be able to save your game?

One warning for you GBA owners
Nintendo advertises this cable to allow 4 people to play together off of one pack. Absolutely not a 100% true. Certain games such as NHL 2002, and other sports games, each player must have a pack to be able to connect. Many parents have found this out all too late on road trips and what not. Make sure you read the warning on the back of the game and instructions to see what you need for multiplayer gaming. (...)

a major disappointment
i am a 45 year aerospace engineer and I can't get this piece of junk to work, even after re-reading the poor instructions several times.after messing around with it for a while, it finally does allow two GBAs to link, but its almost as if by accident... Good accessory

Good battery but...
Do yourself a favor and order a set of precision screwdrivers (a set of stanley's can be had on Amzaon for ~5 bucks).)

you can buy an official battery at the nintendo store online of the same quality for $15 dont find yourself buying ths and oh yea it is the right picture.

The displayed picture is not the real thing!!!
This picture of the rechargeable battery is not the real thing this picture is for the rechargeable batteries for the gameboy advance not the gameboy advance SP!!! So I suggest that [amazon.com] or toysrus or whatever should find the real picture of the rechargeable batteries for the gameboy advance SP and replace this picture with the real thing!!! Although I really do think this is a good idea to have a spare battery to play with. Now i can play with my GBA SP foe 36 hours with the light off and 20 hours with the light on! :) ... Read more

Look elsewhere for magnifier.
I would had given this lower than 1 full star but thats as low as you can go. I am making this review short and sweet as there is nothing to write home about on this one. When attached, the magnifier doesn't want to stay up too well. Once snapped onto my gameboy advance sp, it's almost imposible to get it off with out breaking it or using a tool that would scratch the paint on my GBA sp. It always has a glare. Constantly having to tilt it one way or another, depending on what section of the screen you want to see. It magnifies great. Bout all I can say good. Guess thats worth a star. One more thing, the GBA sp lid won't shut all the way with this thing attached. So to fold the GBA sp up, you have to remove it, again you will have problems. Stay far away from this and save your 10 bucks. ... Read more

no good
ok i bought this light for my gameboy and guess what i got more light from the passing lamp posts than this thing i mean i couln't see squat throguh the light all i got was really glare and so little light that i coulnt ever see it DONT BUY spend of a worth wile light. yes i know my grammer and punuation and spelling suck learn to live with it. o yeah did i mention the look of this thing is cool if your about 6 years old

Looking cute is not it's purpose
This light is totally useless.The only thing this light is good for is putting a nice bright glare on the GBA screen.There are much better lights out there, so stay away from this one.

DO NOT BUY! I REPEAT DO NOT BUY!!!!
This is a cheap camera. It doesn't take pictures at all! Trust, I got the camera, and it is HORRIBLE! Please, if you really want to get a gameboy camera , do not get this! You know on the cover it has a High Res. picture of a dog on it, that is COMPLETLEY FAKE!!!! When you take a picture on the camera, all it you see is either black, white, or a very unviewable picture! And I am telling the true, true truth. But there other gameboy cameras avalible, like the original gameboy camera, that you can find here on amazon. The only thing is that the orignal gameboy camera takes black'n'white pictures. The only thing I want to tell you is, DO NOT GET THIS GBA CAM AT ALL!!!!

you get what you pay for
I bought the worm cam for my daughter, who was begging for a camera, because I thought it would be both a fun accessory for her game boy advance and satisfy her desire to take photos, but I was wrong.Being eight years old, she does enjoy taking photos with her gameboy - the concept is neat - but the photos are of the worst possible quality.The novelty of this product is not enough to keep it from being a big disappointment. what the heck is this?????
I picked this THING up today, and there's one word to describe it...HORRIBLE. The pictures that you take are so unclear and bad. On the box, it shows a nice clean, crisp picture, but on the actual screen the pictures suck. Every picture I take turns out completly black, or hardly there. Good protection while still keeping the system small
I bought these today because I lost my old black pouch the micro comes with and my screen is all scratched from keeping it in my pocket without a case. I took a look at all the official cases manufacturers make for the micro, but a lot of them seems to increase the overall size way to much which kind of defeats the purpose of keeping the micro in your pocket. I bought it because it was tiny and I could just stick it in my pocket on the go.

The 100% Better Version of GBA
The SP is a small step for gamers but a giant leap for Nintendo. The convience, fun, and portability of the GBA just got better. The SP is smaller, easier on the hands, and has an illuminator behind the screen so you can actually see the game you're playing. Also the SP doesn't switch games so you can still get the GBA Games for it.
My Game Boy Advance SP
I got the Game Boy Advance SP on Christmas. I loved it! I was excited to play with it. My GBA SP is the Platinum/Onyx version. I thought those two colors go together well. The SP itself, I loved the fact that it had a lighted screen. I have a dark house so I used it regularly. The charger is a great step in gaming. Since I'm hooked on this thing I use it often. The clamshell design is brilliant but I am taking no chances with this thing. Screen protectors are the first thing on my mind. For a moment I was worried about the compatibility with E-Reader compatible games. Nothing to worry about. This is a must have, get it now. I was lucky to get the dual color one, but no matter which color you get you will have hours of fun!!!!!!!
