Great buy
I bought this for my daughter. I like the fact it came in different colors. Now we can tell which one belongs to my son and which one belongs to my daughter. Great item to have in the car.

this product is very helpful for long trips. Good for the car and even in airplanes. If you are going on a car trip this is very good to bring along

GameBoy SP and a long Trip
We went on our annual trip to Maine.With the SP's having only rechargable batteries, what were we to do when the kids SP's batteries drained.It's a long ride from NJ to ME.Plus we were staying in a cabin with no electricity (out final destination).

Very handy at night for multiplayer or 1-player.

Worked great
I bought this item for my daughter. She wanted the sponge Bob sp that cost almost $200 i said no way instead i bought the normal sp and this starter kit and it work perfect. She loves the charger and the carring case. It comes with a magnifing glass that attaches great and earbuds. I have had no problems and my daughter is so happy with all the neat sponge Bob assessories that come with it. Much cheaper than buying the Sponge Bob sp.

Defective!
Charger and headset did not work correctly, I returned the item for another identical item, and it still did not work.When I returned it the clerk informed me that they had several returns from this item.This item is a waste of money and it was a disappointment for my 10 year old son on Christmas Day to have a toy that did not even work! ... TOO BULKY for small hands
Okay, the reason you buy the GBA is because it has a great COMPACT size that fits well in your hands, even small one.So why would you want to add a battery pack that is extremely bulky, heavy, and hangs off the back of the GBA like it is some type of store security device made to discourage theft?This thing is ill-fitted to the GBA because, unlike the power grips which has rechargable batteries made into a grip that is more like a full-size game's control pad which is ergonomically correct for usage, this thing plugs into the GBA's back and sticks out of the middle while hanging down in back, making it hard to hold for extended periods of time.Welcome to Carpel tunnel syndrome for kids!!!

doesn't last!
Sure my son got a fair amount of enjoyment from his gameboy and rechargeable power pak, but the power pak is only 3 months old and no longer takes a charge!There is no way to totally discharge it, thus clearing the "memory" and my attempts to contact Interact have been totally unsuccessful.I think I'll head out and just buy rechargeable batteries.

Cheaper than buying batteries
This unit is nice because it saves money on batteries and allows more play time.The only drawback I found is that it does not stay on the cradle when charging very well.It will be fine if it is on a completely flat surface and it is not bumped.It is also important that the kids don't run around nearby or it will fall of the cradle from the vibration.It needs some sort of clip to hold the gameboy advance in place, if it had one it would be 5 stars.I gave this item 4 stars just based on the cost savings alone, it is worth it. ... Do not listen to these people.Forget abot it. This light works well, IF U BUY BATTERIES FOR IT. It is very handy. My eyes would allways hurt from staring at the screen. YOU WONT SCRATCH THE SCREEN IF U BE A LITTLE MORE CAREFULL. Worth the money!!

you guys are dumb!you shouldn't of bought if you thought it would of been stupid!first of all i don't know about you but the light worked perfectly for me.It did't sratch my gba because I unlike some people know how to use it!I didn't bring it outside and it dropped into this big hole because i know better!So costemers I recomend it.It works when your in the car at knight and your really bored.I really recomend it!

Best Battery I've Ever Had!!!!!
To people who don't know what a great battery is, then look for this Power Pak.It has 15 Hours of gameplay time.No more replacing so many batteries just to have your GameBoy run.Just every time that it dies, you just recharge it. Bad Idea

I have been researching alot of these rechargable systems for my son.I thought this power pak was ok at first glance but very quickly realized that it has to go with the unit so it can be recharged when not in use.It is big and takes up alot of room in the case I purchased.
