Worth The Cost!!
This light may cause a little glare but all you have to do is adjust the light a little and it shouldn't be a problem. The thing that is better about this light than the others is it needs no batteries to operate it. All you have to do is plug it into the link outlet and you are ready to play with good light.

An embarrassingly bad light
The GameBoy Advance Wormlight is one of the few occasions where Nintendo didn't get it right.The only problem that affects the GameBoy advance is its lack of a backlit screen.In normal light, this usually isn't a problem, but for naturally dark games (like "Castlevania") and playing in poorly lit conditions, it can be an issue.Alas, the Wormlight does nothing to fix the problem.In many ways, it makes it worse.Instead of providing a broad, soft light to enhance the screen, this light produces a narrow, harsh glare.The glare created practically washes out any ability to see what is happening on the screen.Check out some other lights or just go completely without one rather than wasting money on this one.

Not only the cheapest, but the BEST alternative.
**ADDITION TO REVIEW**[After using the wormlight for a while until the batteries died a couple times, my estimate is that the batteries drain approximately twice as fast with this light on...this is about ten instead of twenty hours.)Read more

doesn't come with a hole for an adapter
I bought this for my grandson and all was great until the batteries ran out--he had an adapter from a previous gameboy advance and I thought based on that, that they all came with a plug-in for an adapter--wrong--I wouldn't have bought it if I knew we had to keep supplying him with batteries. It's an important piece of information that I wished was displayed with the description of the gameboy advance when I purchased it. Grandma Jane

Great!
This toy/ electronic device, is great! It may not be very educational, but it gets rid of boring hours and it is really fun. I got it for christmas and it was my favorite present. Now, it's great for vacation and when i'm bored.

Considering that the e-Reader usally costs $40 by itself whereas here you're getting it for free, this is a really great deal.Aside from that, the only real negative consequence of buying this bundle is that you're forgoing the Advance SP with its lighted screen and rechargeable battery for its predecessor here.Read more

reflections/ glare problems
This one should have never left the drawing board.With an independent power source you would have expected better.The lights reflect off the screen and the glare is so bad the lights are almost unusable.The magnifinying glass is acceptable but I have seen better!!!

okay, but i would not buy it if i were you.
this item was great on gbc, but it is not really that great on gba.the problem is, is that the light does not work at all, and the magnifyers great except it makes the screen blury. but what i like about it is that its pretty small(but that does make up for its downfalls). over all this is not a great item, not even a okay item, okay lets face it, it stinks. ... Limited Appeal
Good idea, but if you want to use any other accessories, this gets in the way. Pretty decent overall value.

sure, if you drop it square to the ground on a flat surface larger than the cage, it would work well against scratches, but all my scratches are from things smaller than the screen and from rubbing against stuff. the cage is really annoying to play with and gets in your way and vision. it should be bought by people who like drop things perfectly of flat surfaces. ...
