What a handy accessory!
This accessory is great! It allows me to keep my gameboy handy and my handsfree for travel! Its so cheap too. I bought one for a friend of mine as a gift and he loved it. I am also surprised at what high quality it is as well.

Good, but scratchy
I think this is a great item to have, if you own a Game Boy Color. The only problem is sometimes it scratches the Game Boy, so you almost need to put padding inside it. Trust me that's not easy, but on the whole it works great. The reason it scratches is because the Game Boy isn't put in just right. As long as you put it in right it works fine. ... Read more

Don't buy this!
Horrible Adapter - plug is dual and sticks out, impeding game play.Adapter is not at a right angle, also impeding game play.

I got this adapter when my previous one wore out.However, this adapter does not work very well.If you jiggle the Game Boy ever so slightly, the game turns off and you need to start over!AAUUGGHH! Also, you need to"adjust" the wire in just the right position or it also won'twork!Skip this adapter!There are much, MUCH better ones out there!

Good product
The AC Adapter is a good product. Only small problems. The dual head for the plug to Game Boy and Game Boy Color get in the way when you're playing Color because the AC spot is under the system and not to the side. Shark MX; no more support
For those of you considering the purchase of a Shark MX, be advised that since the sale of Gameshark (from Interact to Madcatz), there is no longer any support for this device, nor the proprietary email service (Gameshark BBS).The toll free# on the 30min activation card has been disconnected, and Madcatz has been of little assistance.(Apparently Madcatz only purchased the website and software rights to Gameshark, and not the "technology" portion.) tell me where i can get one

Oops - Correction
I made a mistake in my review. I assumed this was for the Game Boy COLOR but it is REALLY for the Game Boy POCKET. It says that it is ONLY compatible with the Game Boy POCKET. A Nice Battery Pack
This is an excellent rechargable battery pack for the Game Boy Color. It stores plenty of power so you can play for a long while. The price is great for the amount of batteries this saves you from buying. There is also the added feature of a LCD bar that shows you how much power is left. Misleading

The compact unit clips onto the top of the Game Boy Color. Pretty Worthless
I was playing my GameBoy for exactly FIFTEEN MINUTES when the stupid thing decided that the batteries were gone. Unfortunately, they were. The only batteries that I can get to work with mine are the ones they came with and they are about (really) twenty bucks for a four-pack. So if you get this, please be rich.

Shabby
Does not help much! The light does not even reach the screen. My child has to stick his face on the glass to make him see anything. I would go with the worm light.

i am 14.
I have one of these things and it is really really hard to get back off the gameboy. So before i take it off i cut off my game just in case i accidentally rip the game out along with it the lights dont last long if you are playing a game such as pokemon and you play it for a period of time and the magnifer yeah it works but the lights glare off the game boy and somtimes you want the magnifier in a certain place and it will not go in that place. ... Easy and convenient
When I first purchased the MadCatz System Selector, I was a bit worried that it might break after the first few days because I have had problems with these Universal items in the past. I'll admit that I only purchased it because it was cheaper than the GameStop system selector.
cheap & excellent
This one is cheap, uses no additional power (no AC needed), and does not give any a/v interference.Best one I've tried.Get it for $10 + shipping at www.madcatzstore.com.

Very Effective
I picked up this system selector about two years ago, and it has been very effective.I haven't had any problems with it and video and audio is clear.However, I recommend getting a thicker A/V cable for the output since the one that comes with it is rather small.Still, this is quite a deal.Read more

Its really good to have a bag for game boy. It can be kept for a travel toy only. This one allows for games and the game boy to be kept secure.

this pack is not exceptable
This pack was not at all what I wanted.Although it has a battery pack there is hardly any space for games and the fanny pack itself is pretty ugly.My kids felt embarressed to walk around with it, as they are very into fashion and the fanny pack was not at all fashionable.As a warning:If you have 12+ year old kids do not get this for them, they'll hate you.
