4-0 out of 5 stars This Game Rocks!!!!!
This is the first time that I have owned a Madden football game. I can't compare it to the other games, but this one rocks! I love the highlight stick and hit stick.
5-0 out of 5 stars Keeps getting better.
As we near the end of the life span of the last generation of consoles, key franchises that have appeared year after year begin to wrap up their yearly development cycle. Crazy as it may sound, Madden NFL 07 could be one of the last times we see Madden on the Xbox, PlayStation 2, or the GameCube. With that in mind, it's not altogether surprising that Madden 07 doesn't really push the envelope terribly far. The game includes a few new control features and some mode tweaks (nearly all of which are also available in the Xbox 360 version of this year's game), but for the most part, it feels like the result of a series pushed as far as it can possibly go on a given platform, and you definitely get the sense that Madden on current-generation consoles is beginning to wind down. However, for at least this last year, the veteran player outraces the up-and-comer in the Xbox 360 version, and there are certainly enough compelling reasons to check this year's game out on the older consoles.
4-0 out of 5 stars It's Madden football, nothing more
There's a lot of different opinions of Madden NFL 07 swirling around so I figured I get in on it as well. For my money, to just have a new football game is worth it. Seeing as how Madden is now the only football game available from year to year, if you don't like Madden's brand of video games then I feel so sorry for you. However, I think this is a great installment. By no means is this the best released but there's no doubt that it's a lot of fun.

4-0 out of 5 stars Technically better, slower
The game is slower compared to its predecessor, it surprised me when I tried to put it in fast mode but actually it starts this way. I feel it is easier to make a goal (although I have only tried Semi Pro) than the previous version.
4-0 out of 5 stars I like it so far
I just bought this game yesterday. The physics of the ball are unreal, even compared to FIFA 06 Road to the World Cup.It's almost too real, the way the ball bounces off the head, chest, etc. There are lot more shots blocked by defenders than in previous games. The manager mode is really indepth too - if you don't understand the way transfers work, youth academies, etc - you'll be a little lost in the game. But the game play is good, and most of the rosters are up to date - even if Ashley Cole is still with Arsenal, despite the fact that he was swapped for William Gallas on August 31, 35 days before the version came out. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game
I know you see lego in the title and you think that this game is not for adults.I have seen previous reviews for this game and everyone gave this atleast 4 1/2 stars so I told me wife that we should get this for our son.Little did she know that I wanted to play this also.We just bought the game and I have been playing it for the last three hours while my son is in bed sleeping. It is a great game and I love how many unlockable characters there are. When my son is awake and ready to play he can understand the button secquence very easily. This is a great game and suggest it for people of all ages.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game!
This is a really fun game.I got it about a year ago, and only now have I stopped playing it long enough to write a review...Ok, not really but it's really great.
5-0 out of 5 stars mother of 7-year old boy
My son received this game at the beginning of this summer. It is by far his favorite. It was a great game for him to learn the controls. He has already gotten through most levels, but still plays this game 2-1 over others he has. I would highly recommend for this age group. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Addition to the Team
I just bought this game yesterday and played on the new Team Tour feature they introduced for at least 3 hours (I'm a dork, I know, but I couldn't put the controller down). The character creation screen is great, you can create a character to look almost exactly like you, as well as buy clothing and accessories that you may own and wear. They have a few new courses, and a larger number than my previous version of Tiger Wood PGA Tour 03' (of course). This game, although immensely better on the XBOX 360, is a great game for all ages and sports games lovers all the same. It's a game you can pick up at any time and play for a half hour or for hours on end.Highly recommended for ages 10 and up, and great for a pick-up game with your friends. The controls are great and the graphics are phenomenal (The water looks very well refined and presents an amazing mirror image on any hole). If you liked any of the previous games and want to upgrade to the newest one, then $40.00 is a small price to pay for endless fun. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent, but not perfect
This game is a stellar game. There are a few cons, such as the camera angle on sideline inbounds passes and tip-offs. The free throw shooting is also slightly more confusing than it needs to be. Other than that, it rocks. The graphics are EXCELLENT! The playmakers freestyle thing is excellent - LeBron rocks! The dunk contest is the same as '06, which is fine because it was good then too! It is a little too hard to modify your dunks because the buttons must be pushed at exactly the right moment.

5-0 out of 5 stars Keep it going...
First of all, let me sum this article up, this game is worth $19.99 IF you're not buying xbox 360 anytime soon. For those who have played last year's 2K6, yes, 2K7 has the same great graphics! But gameplay has improved mostly defensively. example, Mike Dunleavy, like in real life, is NOT driving to the basket dunking on three defenders. Like in real life, as long as you have a decent shot blocker down low, no one can dunk at will with exceptions like King James, Air Canada, T-Mac and Kobe of course. Defense has improved alot. You can not drive to the hole with your poing guard every play. There is also improvement with crowd noise and momentum swing just like the real NBA. At first I didn't want to get this game because I thought it would just be a roster update, but gameplay has improved for the best. This basketball game is the BEST since NBA Live 2001 on PS1! I'm glad 2K sports can at least beat EA with this since they took the best football game ever away!

2-0 out of 5 stars Same as 2k6
While I still contend that the 2k series is better than the Live series at being a more accurate, fun and realistic approach to basketball, I was reallydisappointed with this years go around. Not because it's a bad game by any means, but because it's nearly exactly like 2k6 in terms of the play. Whereas the xbox 360 version features new player movements, animations, etc. this one is just last years version with new rosters. If you own a 360, definitely spend the $60 to get that version, but if you're like me and stuck with the old xbox and already own 2k6 then this isn't worth your time. However, if you don't own any basketball games and are wondering between this and Live, 2k7 is where your money should go. I guess last year's version pushed everything it could out of the xbox, so there's not much more they could've done. Maybe that's why this game was $30. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Some additions were great others not so much
Madden 06 is still the Madden everyone is addicted. The biggest changes this year is the inclusion of the qb vision and precision passes. These two things are by far one the best new features in 06. It addes another layer of realism and lot more challenge for those who constantly pump up the difficulty level. It takes a little getting used to but once you get a feel for it your gonna love it. The downside is that those two things are really the only new features worth mentioning. One big add on for 06 besides the new qb features is the Superstar mode. On paper it sounds very promising and for the first few minutes I was enjoying myself then massive boredom sets in. There are a few words that describe superstar mode well let's see: tedious, boring, lame, stupid, repetition!!!!, oh and did I mention boring and most importantly crap. It is unfortunate that the Superstar mode turned out to be a collassoul failure but honestly EA what is the fun in playing through endless practices and retarded interviews and acting gigs. Sure making idiotic rants to your agent can be fun but nothing lasts forever. Unless you really like doing the sme thing over and over you'll be simulating just about every event on your calendar besides actual games. I hope that in the upcoming Madden 07 that the superstar mode is fixed. Knowing EA my hopes aren't to high. The one player perspective thing for 07 sounds good but there has got to be more changes made to the superstar mode than just that. Other flaws present in 06 include that god awful radio brodcaster Tony Bruno and John Madden who probably hasn't recorded a new line of dialogue for the game in years, unfortunately that is probably a good thing. So overall Madden 06 delivers what the gamers want. The game has it's flaws but 06 proves to be a whole lot of fun. I can't wait for Madden 07, just about a month now, which should touch up the issues in 06 but who knows how much.

5-0 out of 5 stars great but playbook glitches
it is a great game good graphics, good sound, good button layout and fun gameplay! this part i HATE!!!!!. i love to make playbooks but you cant use them in season for instanstce i made a play where a wr lines up as a hb and i run the hb pass play but instead of willie parker its randel ell or ward. or moss or porter. i was so exciteed! then i went to fanchise mode and changed my playbook and i could not find my playbook. my advice ea sports in madden 07 make ur playbooks usful in season!

5-0 out of 5 stars NCAA college football 07
"A great comeback"
1-0 out of 5 stars Will Return '07 & Keep Playing '06
The graphics, playbooks, and many other game features seem to be slightly improved (not $50 worth though) but the controls are horrible. They've eliminated the 2005 classic control option. Both new control options have eliminated the ability to switch which player you control in 2 directions - example: you're controlling the middle linebacker & want to switch to the right linebacker at the line of scrimmage. To do that, you've got to scroll through all eleven players to get back to the ROLB, and hope you don't scroll too far or you have to start over. You've also got to hope that your opponent doesn't hike the ball while you're scrolling - funny, the people I play online aren't likely to wait until I'm controlling the guy I want. This may not seem like a big deal, but for me it makes the game almost unplayable online.
2-0 out of 5 stars Bush on cover explanation
John, the reason bush is on the cover is because it's against NCAA regs to use a college player's likeness to make money. Therefore they have to use kids that are no longer playing college ball. That's also why there are no names for any of the players in the game.

So people can come over and instantly join in the fun, without worrying about not being as good. The games are simple and funny- especially Victim! We originally played the demo included on the first Halo, but we played it so much when people came over that we bought the full version!

5-0 out of 5 stars Gran Turis-who?
Forza Motorsport is as much about style as it is about speed. Buy a car, tweak it with numerous upgrades and choose your paint colour for the main body of the car, the hood and the mirrors. Tint the windows, change the rims, apply a million decals to the vehicle and take it to the track. No, you can't fit neons and no, you can't change the colour of your exhaust, but you don't need to. Resizing the decals and vinyls, colouring them, spinning them and moving them to the desired location can result in some incredibly intricate designs - and the chances are that when you take it online, you won't see a modified car like yours.
5-0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect!
This game is not perfect. You just can't expect that out of a game. After all, the creators are merely mimicing a real driving experience. But they've come pretty darn close.
5-0 out of 5 stars The best (cliche, but best way to sum it up)
I myself am not too big into the racing genre. The only other racing game I like is the burnout series. I got this game when I bough my Xbox as the new package deal for 180$. Like always, I give every game a chance, If I can't help it. Im glad I did. the game has gread car physics and feel, Fantastic Xbox live, Great costomization to put in you car, not to hard or easy, plenty of cars to choose from, and just outstanding. This game of cource was made to be a Gran Turismo killer, and It worked. the game has a line on the road to help you to find a strategic position on the track, and tells you when you should slow down, or speed up. Credits are easy to obtain to buy new cars, and costomize them. There are so many cars to choose from to buy, I almost soild myself. It even has a Buick Regal GNX to buy which is a great, under rated car. I am glad that they put it in because I love the car in real life. hopfuly this game will make more people know that before Buick went into the Granny car nitch, they made some nice cars. You can dramaticaly upgrade ANY car to make it WAY faster, and its easy to do. The soundtrack isn't all that great, but I just loaded up some Motley Crue, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Metallica so It works out. This game also has a few Muscle cars from the late 60's early 70's to add to it. I just wish ther were more, not just a Challenger, GTO,and 2 Camaros. O yeah it also has the king of all cars made in the mid 60s, the 427 1965 Shelby Cobra. I know, my pants became 5 shades darker when I found this out too. you can change the color of your car to any color you want, even the color schems that change color when you move around it. plus you can add decals to your ride. thats cool, but I only do it with some cars, like if I HAVE to have some asian rice grinder for a race or too. Then I cover the car with decals as a joke to show that I really dont like ricers. I could go on and on, but then You would eventually slam your head into your desk rapidly if you dumb enough to read a 1,000 line review. so pick this up, you wont regret it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for the whole family
My son's Dad brought this back from Army training and at first Ilaughed at him. Then we had Margarita night (our son was on a road trip with other family) and played Monkey Golf, Monkey Mini Golf, Monkey Racing, and Monkey bowling till the next thing we knew the sun was coming up. We had four grown, responsible adults laughing and having a great (if loud) time.
5-0 out of 5 stars I love it
I bought this game because from what I read on it, it would be easy for my 3 year old.It was.He loves this game.He can't get enough of it.I played it and was surprised of how addicted to it I got. This game is great ANYONE.I would recommend this game to anyone.I love it.& my 3 year really loves. That is what counts. If you want a game for the whole family. This a game for you.

5-0 out of 5 stars Strangely Addicting!
I first played this game on the Game Cube and was surprised to find out how addicting it is. 4-0 out of 5 stars No Mech Assault Included
I just bought this from CompUSA and had the WORST service. Mech Assault was NOT included as stated on Amazon. Project Gotham Racing 2 is included and CompUSA claimed it was not their fault that the description was incorrect and they could send me a postage-paid return label and send me out another XBox Live but with Crimson Skies instead but they would not waive the shipping of $5 even though I already paid for shipping once when I rec'd the incorrect XBox Live. Amazon resolved the issue, but I will never buy from CompUSA again.

5-0 out of 5 stars Truly Fab-A kids reveiw
I have ordered this item the other day, but I am reveiwing it because my friend has this and it is amazing. No wonder everybody gabs about it. It is so well thought out. For example, voice communication: you can talk to friends, plan out stuff and lots more. There is nobody who wins because of a fast connection to the net, it pauses the game when one person starts to lagg. There is all kinds of stuff, and it is great value! It is cheaper per year than runescape members, and is a whole lot better value! Kudos off to microsoft

5-0 out of 5 stars expensive, but worth it
this service is expensive, even for the included headset and game, but it is worth it. it really makes all the games you played by yourself a lot more fun. especially if your friends have the same games. you can create matches and play with and against your friends. many games have a matchmaking service, so that if your friends arent playing at the time, you can still play online with others.

We love the Cars movie and this video game does not disappoint.I bought this for my 4 year old son and he loves it.It is easy enough for him not to become frustrated, yet there are many levels to unlock that also keeps it challenging. His dad and I love to play also.

3-0 out of 5 stars NASCAR 07?
First, one thing needs to be put out of the way before I start this review.NASCAR Racing 2003 by Papyrus for the PC is a vastly superior game, that's pretty much accepted in the sim racing world. However, comparing NR2003 to NASCAR 07 or other releases is like comparing apples to oranges.Platform games are, in nature, supposed to appeal to a wider audience than PC games, which is probably one of the reasons why EA's NASCAR releases are not as realistic as they can (and really should) be.
2-0 out of 5 stars Just 06 repackaged with new cars.
First of all, something really needs to be done here about morons giving things five star reviews before they're even released (see the review of this game that was submitted in June).
5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome
This is the game we've been waiting for.I own every x-box nascar game since 2002 and this one is the absolute best. This one is a "Must Have." ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A fun game
I am not a fan of EA they always try to rip you of.I have played 2 games in race to the Heisman the first i played in j varsity the next game varsity. i play as Ohio State my first game was maimi of ohio the next was as you all know Texas i bley texas out like 82 to 8. it was outrages the graphics are good the game is fun so far. I switched contols from 06 to 05 i love to run my QB but playing in 05 controls i cant pull the ball down to run it if somone knows please tell me overall a good game.

3-0 out of 5 stars Easy?Yes.Groundbreaking?Hardly.
Sure, this game is still fun to play; but on the other hand, we've all played this game last year when it was called "NCAA Football 2005."The only REAL difference between 2005 and 2006 is that the latest title is 100x's easier than 2005.
1-0 out of 5 stars Lobs gallore,80YD TD passes everytime.BORING.
I can't believe how many people are saying how "realistic" this game is.That can not be further from the truth. All the CPU does is lob the ball down field on 3rd and long plays and the receiver catches it 80% of the time regardless of coverage. What fun is that? This in itself is highly unrealistic.Don't even get me started on the other things this game does. NCAA 2006 is nothing but an arcade game, realism is thrown out the window in this one.EA does not know the meaning of AI.The only difference between the levels is the amount of cheating the CPU does.

5-0 out of 5 stars The greatest racing game on the market today
I'm a big video game player and have tried out racing games since the days of Sega Genesis, but this trumps them all as the best racing game I've ever played.
5-0 out of 5 stars Top Of The Heap. A#1 Racing game
This title is simply a Gem. A fun factory. At the price of $20 or below, buying this title is like getting away with armed robbery at a bank. Bizarre creations and Microsoft Game Studios took home the whole wedding cake with Project Gotham Racing 2. I found this game so good that I had to go back to the store to buy several more copies of it for select family members and colleagues that have a need for speed. If you get to play it online against other ADULTS, it might just hook you for at least a week and you might find yourself playing online as soon as getting home from work for a little while as I did. I still can't believe I did that. This game is not a simulation game, it's not a Gran Turismo killer, nor does it try to be; it's simply an addictive arcade racing game. With a decent TV and component cables, you can appreciate the great graphics this game has to offer. Hook it up to a surround sound system and you're THERE. The music is great too but you can load your own favorite tunes to listen to while you burn some rubber, lead the pack and [...] your pants. This is the only game ever, besides Need For Speed 3: Hot pursuit, that I can just turn on and let the music play like a radio. Specifically, the showroom music in PGR2, while I have a drink and take care of different things around the living room on Friday nites. If you have an Xbox and a need for speed that the law can't let you safisty in the real world, step into PGR2 and quench your thirst. This game is highly recommended.

5-0 out of 5 stars a good collection missing afew rare gems
This collection is a must have if your feeling abit nostalgic. It contains some of the best games of all time inparticular the four Mega Drive classics (Sonic 1, 2, 3 & Knuckles) and the fantastic Sonic & Knuckles lock-on mini games. You also get the Mega Drive versions of Dr Robotnick's Mean Bean Machine and Sonic Spinball and the dull Sonic 3D: Blast, the last Sonic game made for Sega's 16 bit console. This collection also includes a selection of rare Game Gear games. Some of these are quite fun others are not so good.
5-0 out of 5 stars My prayers have been answered!!
When I was in elementary school, I was probably the biggest Sonic fan in Northwest Indiana, I had all of the games, comic books, toys etc., Sonic was my idol (not anymore but remains my favorite video game character).Since my Sega Genisis has been crapping out for about eight years lately, I haven't been able to play my Sonic games.I was pissed because even to this day, I love them a lot.About a year ago, I stumbled upon this game at Circuit City, after finding out it had all of the old-school Sonic games on it, I bought it immediately and when I put the disc in my Xbox, I wept with joy.
4-0 out of 5 stars Tha King of Sonic Collections
I amit it's tight. Thou it's messed up that the other game gear games is in sonic Gems.

1-0 out of 5 stars NOT TECMO BOWL
This is not the Tecmo bowl that everyone loves. This is a compelation of aweful games that are not entertaining at all.The fact they write Tecmo Bowl on the Cover should be grounds for a law suit.DO NOT buy if you are looking for Tecmo Bowl from nintendo

1-0 out of 5 stars Tecmo Classic misleading
I thought I was getting Tecmo Bowl aka old school NES Tecmo Bowl...not even close.

5-0 out of 5 stars Tecmo Classics Come Home
I bought Tecmo Classic Arcade last week and have played it every day since. Anybody who remembers the days of going to the arcade in the 80's and 90's after school will appreciate this collection of gems. The first game that comes to mind is Tecmo Bowl. I've played it on the old NES and have seen it in the Arcade as well. It's still a blast to play. Rygar is a side scrolling hack&slash game that's done very well. Solomon's Key, this action puzzle game, is exactly like the NES and arcade version as well. The last game I remember is Bomb Jack, the NES version is "Mighty Bomb Jack". You're this little guy with a mask and cape, trying to collect all the bombs in the levels. This version is the arcade version, this game is addictive! If you enjoy the games of the past, you'll love Tecmo Classic Arcade. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Graphics or motion problems galore
Some of the courses on the PC game work great and are a lot of fun. Other courses, such as Bethpage, Pumpkin Ridge, Kapalua, do not work properly. The motion of the graphics is segmented so that timing becomes almost an impossible challenge. Not on every shot, but enuff to ruin a score on the hole and with a few problem shots on different holes, the round. The 2005 game does not have this problem and its graphics are far superior in any event. Really hope that this problem is corrected for the PC game in '07.

4-0 out of 5 stars can't really complain too much
this is probably the funnest, most addictive game i've ever played. i bought 2004 a couple years ago and i've been a fan of this series ever since. the graphics are great, and the game play is very realistic. it's almost like you're watching golf on tv when you play this game. one thing i like about this game is that you never run out of challenges. with the real time event calendar there's a new challenge every day, and with the pga tour season mode, and rivals mode you never run out of things to do. i've been playing this game for a couple months now and i still havn't beat it. this game is great, but there are a couple things that keep it from being a full 5 stars. once you create a golfer, and build his statistics up until they're maxed out the game gets really easy. it's still a lot of fun but you never lose and rarely hit a bad shot. i also thought there should be a lot more golf courses in this game. playing the same couple courses over and over again starts to get old after awhile. another thing that i don't really like is the game breaker feature. it was cool at first when i first started playing the game but some of the shots you can make when your gamebreaker meter is full are just rediculous. i used my gamebreaker on one shot and the ball landed in a bunker, rolled up and out of the bunker, through the rough, onto the green, and into the hole for an eagle. thats just rediculous. its basically cheating. you can knock down eagles and double eagles like nothing with a gamebreaker. lastly, there are a lot of glitches in this game. sometimes you'll find the announcers talking about something completley different than whats actually going on. you'll get the ball on the green and they'll yell oh what a nasty shot, its in the rough. this happens a lot throughout the game. all complaints aside, this is a great game, it's fun, addicting, and definatly worth the money. i'll be buying 2007 as soon as it comes out.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hole in one
This games is great. I am a new fan of sports games. I have been playing this with other guys at work (I have a great job) and we have been rocking the house taking turns and rooting each other on. Even the girls get into watching.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow they always get better
wow. the gameplay is a bit different from winning eleven 8, but that only makes it funner. dont be like fifa. fifa is always the same it seems like, but with a more updated roster. Online is fun for this game. there is 1 problem with online, most the time you get one half of lag while your oppoint doesnt. then he gets the lag the second half. but all you gotta do is D one half then go out attacking the next. Master League is great. Wow never gets old.im in year 2010 so i mean it keeps going and going. you may have trouble scoring, but you just gotta find the right formation.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great animation!!!! But where are the fouls?
When you are in div. 2 in master league they call a lot of fouls on the himan player but not cpu. then div 1 they dont call as many fouls on u but there is still no fouls on the cpu. when i am runging beside em and they do not fall down i get yellow cards. but then they trip me in the "PK Box the refee says it was clean that is the only bad thing about other then that it is great..

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Game
I was excited when I finally got my copy of the new Winning Eleven series. I owned WE8 for the last couple of months and immensely enjoyed it. WE9 is no different. There seems to be some difference in game controls but the game play stays the same. I think they followed the "if ain't broke do not fix it" which works with WE series. I noticed that the shots became a bit more sensitive to the touch and more powerful. Not to mention there are more licensed teams, especially Arsenal and Chelsea. However, with this franchise you don't notice what the team or player names are since you loose yourself in the game.
