2-0 out of 5 stars Just not the same as it was on the old Atari
The new versions of this game lose a lot since you don't have the precise control that you had when it was on the Atari.Using a gamepad control is far different than the paddle control of old.

4-0 out of 5 stars SUPER BREAKOUT
Super Breakout is a fantastic game.In fact, I paused it to write a review of it.But, it has its pros and cons.4-0 out of 5 stars brilliant breakout
super breakout is great. even better than the coin-op version. the other versions are great. cavity, progressive and double really are challenging. long time gamers should pick this up. new time gamers should get this also. get breakout or you just might freakout for not having this game in your collection. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game
Gargoyle's Quest is a good game. You start in the being level but after you beat the first monster you walk around to find new places to go. While your there you talk to people and get advace and get items and learn abiltes from othere people. You fly alittle bit but after a while you get longer time flying and also can save. To get to your file you have to remenber your password. Best thing to do is to write it all down. ... Read more

This isnt that fun. This game is way too hard. Its really long to. If i were you id get woody woodpecker in crazy castle 5.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome graphics, cool gameplay!
This game gets repetative in somespots, because you always have the same goal in the levels:collect 8 keys. This game is very fun though. It has excellent graphics, excellent characters, and each level gets harder as you switch between level. The levels are all unique, too. This is an excellent family game for everyone in the family!

4-0 out of 5 stars Bugs Bunny in Crazy Castle 4
I think this game is okay. I am still playing it and think it is a fun game except when I get stuck (which is probably just because of my level of gameboy playing skill). I love how clear the graphics show the characters, and the colors are wonderful. I like how they have the codes to get to the certain spot in the game you want to be, so then more than one person could play it without affecting your game spot. I also like how they involved some other looney toons characters in the game (even though they play enemies). ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars A decent port of the arcade classic
In the late eighties, the Irem video game corporation made a name for themselves with the revolutionary R-Type side-scrolling space shooter series. Of all the side-scrolling shooters ever released for video game systems, this is perhaps the most innovative one of all, due to its unique game play style. Early in the nineties, the original game was ported to the Game Boy. Read on for my review of it.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars YAYYYYYY
ok this is one great pokemon game pokemon is the only thing that me and my friends have ever gotten into not this yugioh or digimon pokemon is the best because it has the easiest concept to level up beat the game and catch'em all nbow the pikachu feature i like becasue pikachu is soooooooooo cute but i wish you could play as abecause you couldnt do that until crystal and about the mini game its great but very hard to get to play but when you can its totally worth it plus all the pokemon look like they shoud in the show so thats a plus no more missingno. but that was stupid because i never used it anyway and its a cheap way to beat the game but i did use missingno. and pokemon stadium to transfer rare candies from red and blue to yellow so i could win at prime cup and actually get the mini game so yeah its a good game

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun but some bad points
Yes i'm 12 and am loyal to pokemon to matter what (i've played it for 8 years)i guess yellow is fine but i had a bad impressen on it when was 6. i bought it and found out that your rival hitts you out of the way and steals your eevee!!!!!!!!! That was my favorite pokemon too! =( but they make up for it with another one, too bad i didn't know that when i was 6 years old because i threw it away. p.s. i can breed eevee whenever iwant to on my emerald now so i'd buy yellow or mabe crystal.

4-0 out of 5 stars I Choose You! Pikachu! :3
Pokemon Yellow is an "upgraded" version of Pokemon Red and Blue, and it's really good, being a Pokemon game.Unfortunately, it is somewhat underappreciated, like most Game Boy Color games. And the graphics are somewhat crude, but it doesn't detract from the game at all.

4-0 out of 5 stars The only game where you can get 20 Ho-Ohs
If you are wondering what my title means I`ll tell you: I learned a sweet Pokemon copying secret where you store a Pokemon that you want to copy then instantly change to an empty box and as its saving turn off. When you turn the game back on you`ll have the pokemon in your party and your PC (but make sure you save afterwards). That`s how I got 10 Typhlosions!

5-0 out of 5 stars This is the best pokemon game out there!
I loved this game and I actually beat the whole thing! Well I used a game shark but still... i just don't get why it goes back to red and blue versions in thsi game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Pokemon Game evr!!
Now when i first got this game I didn't think it was gonna be much different from Red or Yellow Versions. But after a couple hours, I was almost in love with the game. If your a person that wants a pokemon game for your game boy this is definitly the right one. It has cool graphics. Great storyline. And won't be one of those games that takes like 1 day to finish. I have played pretty much all pokemon games like yellow, red, gold, ruby, emerald, leaf green , ect. But this one is still my favorite. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars This game sucks
I'm bored so i'm writing a review for this horrible game. The tv series is bad enough so why the hell would they make a game just as bad? the graphics really sucks and so does the sound... DEATH TO ALL POKEMON!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars A classic, after all
This game is exactly the same than the Blue Version (I reviewed it some time ago) the only thing that changes it's the Pokemon frequency and there's also exclusive pokemon at this one. It's also funny and nice until you finish all. It ain't hard, but either easy, you need a complete strategy and good techniques to do it. I really enjoyed this game in its both versionbs and still do.

4-0 out of 5 stars A true Oldie but Goodie-- Worth Sharing with your Kids
On 02/14/1998, I recieved a game that ultimately became an obsession for me. I played this game whereever and whenever possible. I have caught all 151 of the original characters and kept on playing anyway. The game, it seems, never ends. I have about 215 hours on my file, and not once did it get boring. The Pokemon Era may have died down, but Red is still a great game. As the 10th anniversary of its American release rolls around, I can see the revival of a classic on the horizon. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Beginning Of The Classic Series
We probably all know about the hype that Pokemon (Pocket Monsters) has received about 7 years ago. It started off as a game that originated in Japan around 1995-1996, and it was introduced to the United States in 1998. A TV show and a trading card series followed. Plush Pikachu dolls were everywhere. I was a big fan of this fad, and I was only in the 5th grade (late 1999) when I purchased this game and strapped in for the time of my life.
5-0 out of 5 stars A Classic
Pokemon blue is hands down the best pokemon game along with red and yellow chiefly because they are the origanals, they do not mess around with all the technical crap of colour graphics etc etc they concentrate on the game playability and fun. it is great to pay over and over you can loose yourself in the game. i would 100% recommend this game to anybody who likes pokemon or just anyone who loves gaming!!

5-0 out of 5 stars I've had my pokemon red and blue since 1998 and I still think they're better than the newer ones
I bought my pokemon red and blue when I was 8 years old in 1998, and I still play them every now and again. The original pokemon red and blue games are by far my favourite ones. I love the idea when I'm playing a game that came out like 8 years ago and I know that it was once the only one of its kind that people ever knew. They were certainly very popular in back in the 90's. Yeah, the newer ones have better graphics, more pokemon, etc. but does that make them the most enjoyable? I also own pokemon yellow, green (a japanese one), gold, silver, crystal, ruby, sapphire, emerald, fire red, and leaf green, and I still think the original red and blue are, and always will be, the best. No matter how hard people try to re-make them to improve their graphics, the original version will still be better.

5-0 out of 5 stars Legend of Zelda:Oracle of Ages.......
One thing I absolutely despise about alot of Gameboy games, anymore, is how you have to buy them in twos just to be able to finish them. Such is the case with Legend of Zelda:Oracle of Ages & Oracle Seasons.Originally planned as a trilogy, this two-part adventure is exceptionally good which is why I highly recommend that you add them to your collection.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Ever Zelda Game for Gameboy
This was my first Zelda game and my favorite. This game seems to have everything. Basically, Link is sailing in the ocean and finds himself caught in a storm, knocked unconscious, and awakes on the shore of Koholint Island, having been cared for by Marin, a girl who lives in a hut with her father Tarin in Mabe Village. After wandering around for a while you meet an extremely irritating owl who tells you have to wake the Wind Fish if you ever want to leave Koholint and return home. 5-0 out of 5 stars Really Terrific Beautifull Video Game!!!
This is My Best Game. You must play this.
5-0 out of 5 stars Best Game Boy game ever; second best Zelda game ever
With The Minish Cap coming out soon, and looking to be another disappointment (I will reserve final judgment until I actually play it, but it has a definite Wind Waker vibe), the handheld gamer would do well to revisit this classic. The gameplay is incredible and compelling and the story is perhaps the best in the series; the only two faults with this game are minor for any true gamer. The graphics aren't very good; the sprites are simply poorer-quality A Link to the Past sprites oftentimes, but the game is so good one will hardly notice. The sound effects are pretty poor, but, thankfully, there's always the music to compensate for that...and what good music.

5-0 out of 5 stars This Is Awesome!!!
If you are kind of new to Pokemon and don't know much about pokemon you should get this game. It's just a pinball game when you have to catch pokemons. I bought this at an Ebgames for 2.99. You can probably get a cheaper price for it unless you read my review at felt that it is so good you have to recive it in the next 24 hours. After you know a lot about this game you probably already know enough about these games to start with Ruby or Blue or Gold. If you want this game new get it for GBA unless you are stuck with a Game Boy Color. I liked the game so much I bouught it for Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance. The difference is that in one of them it shakes the Game Boy which is highly rare. But you have to have a AAA battery for your game. This is a great game.

3-0 out of 5 stars 3.5 stars - a good pinball game
The video games in the Pokemon franchise are very hit or miss. For every Pokemon Gold or Pokemon Silver, there's a Pokemon Snap or Hey You Pikachu to bring the series back down. In 1999, Nintendo decided to try their hand at something a little different with the Pokemon characters - a pinball game. Is this one of the hits in the series, or one of the misses? Read on for my review.5-0 out of 5 stars Pokemon Pinball
Okay, I am not a pokemon fan at all, but I have to say that I love this game. You can choose from two different tables, red or blue. This game can become very addicting. If you are a pinball fan and not a pokemon fan, you can still enjoy this game. I highly recommened it. ... Read more

This gbc game is way better then the first super mario land! In the first one the goombas, mushrooms, and question blocks are almost microscopic. I ran into a goomba thinking it was a mushroom!

4-0 out of 5 stars Interesting Bit of Mario for Gameboy Pocket
Even if the game had limited or no color, I still like the game as much since when I got it for my 10th birthday (I'm 16 now). Though the game gets beaten fast, it's still okay. Plus, it's packed with secret levels. A vintage Gameboy Mario game that's still as much fun as the day it was released in stores!

2-0 out of 5 stars not the greatest game in the world
There are 3 games to play, but for one of them you need 2 gameboys and 2 cartridges. For another one, you just walk around through buildings and do absolutely nothing. In the other one, you just make a deck but it has to have 60 cards in it and only one deck has 60 cards in it.This game is really confusing, especially if you don't have the instructions.Don't buy it!

4-0 out of 5 stars THE AWESOME-EST GAME EVER!
The game is awesome! Don't let the other reviews fool you-you don't even notice the "faults" when you play b/c this game is so fun! I would reccomend this to anyone-even if you hate pokemon. It's that good. Now go get it!

2-0 out of 5 stars This Game Stinks
The first time I got this game I didn't like it very much. Then I let one of my friends borrow it and he never brought it back. Then I got it again in hopes of beating some people. So I walked into the Rock Club to defeat the master there and he told me I had to go find his pupils first. So I found two of them and I still can't find the others. I even went on a cheat website and I followed where it says she is and she's not there! This game is really boring. I mean really. Playing the TCG in real life is way more fun. ... Read more
