5-0 out of 5 stars Waecraft 2 an AMAZING game!
I havent played this game in 6 years and Im trying to get it again although I have Warcraft 3 I love Warcraft 2 more and I can't find it but that won't stop me from getting it. That's how much I love Warcraft 2 and that's how good it is. My favourite part of this game is the Battle net. because your not playing against dumb old computers but some skilled players. That's why I love Warcraft 2 Battle net. aside from the trash talk. I would suggest highly getting this game because you don't know what your missing! seriously.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of my all time favorite RTS games ever
Although Warcraft 3 and its expansion have come out within the last few years, I still prefer Warcraft 2 a bit more. Yes the game looks kinda dated now, but it is still a blast to play. The game was fun in that it never got too complicated or anything so that newcomers could always have a good time. The map editor was easy to use and the online play in the Battle.net edition will keep you busy for a while. Anyways, if you've only played Warcraft 3 then it might be difficult for you to enjoy this game since it is so old, but if your willing to look past the graphics then you'll find a real gem.

5-0 out of 5 stars Oops
Great game.It looks like amazon actually posted a screenshot of warcraft I: Orcs and Humans, instead of a picture from this game.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good game
This series is quite good though I must admit I liked the Baldur's Gate series better.
4-0 out of 5 stars Make sure you buy both expansions.
Once I finally completed Neverwinter Nights the first time around, I was glad to have two expansion packs to keep playing through. I'm also really glad to have new features, like being able to access and use henchman inventory.
5-0 out of 5 stars This is the Expansion to make Neverwinter Nights the best!
This expansion is absoluetley a blast. You start out at the top of a mountain under the guidance of a old mage. From then on you can explore 3 new tilesets and chose from 5 new characters. The only downside is that if you played NWNs on a computer on a G3 you cant play this expansion set. The System Requirrements are:Macintosh computer running OSX v10.2.8 or higher, 450MHz G4 or faster processor (800MHz recommended), 256MB RAM, 32MB or higher (NVIDIA GeForce 2/ATI Radeon recommended) video card, 1.2GB free hard drive space, 8X CD-ROM drive, local area network with TCP/IP protocol or established internet connection for multiplayer (56 Kbps modem or faster required). Well over all if you computer meets those requirments buy this game. If you don't have NWNs yet buy that and this.(and Hordes of Underdark). ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Works great with Intel Macs
Chessmaster 9000 (Mac) is a great game.It provides excellent interactive tutorials for beginning chess players, many different piece styles, and playing options. It also is very playable on the new Intel Macs even though it is running in Rosetta. The only issues I have noticed is the video on the splash screen at startup is a bit choppy.I upgraded my version to 1.02 from Apple's (Feral's would also work) website before running the program.
4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent program, new patches available make it run on 10.4
I just got Chessmaster 9000 for Mac in the mail today, and I'm already having quite a bit of fun with it.I'm a bit crazy, I already had Chessmaster 9000 for the PC, but I don't have a PC anymore and figured that it wouldn't be any fun to play in Virtual PC (rating - 0 stars), so I picked up the Mac version.
5-0 out of 5 stars An Excellent and Fun Training Tool
This chess program provides a wide vareity of play and training options that is sure to please both the very beginning chess player as well as the novice and all the way up through advanced players. My favorite feature of the game is the "classroom" feature in which hundreds of lessons are presented into three levels: "Basic", "Intermediate", and "Advanced".The lessons play through with a voice over recording and a graphical interface that moves the chess pieces for a visual demonstration of the lesson. At the end of each lesson are multiple quizzes designed to test your knowledge of the lesson contents.Very helpful and entertaining if you are simply learning for the first time or wanting to really hone your skills on a more advanced level.

4-0 out of 5 stars A few quirks aside, really a great game
I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy this game.A friend and I played the Neverwinter Nights together and really enjoyed it.We wanted to continue on with the same characters; but the first expansion, Shadows of Undrentide, makes you start with a new character. So, we skipped Shadows and went straight to Hordes.First, let me say that skipping Shadows doesn't seem to have mattered. You never feel lost in the storyline. The two games must share very little plot.
4-0 out of 5 stars You cannot miss this!
Hordes of the Underdark takes you on a long beautifull journey; it is the Bioware game you always wanted, while The Shadows of Undrentide could be for some somehow a disappointment, with this game you do not take that risk . In quality, it's up there withclassics like the Baldur's Gate and Diablo games.
4-0 out of 5 stars I liked the Udrentide better but still a great expansion.
I like The Shadows of Undrentide better than this expansion but this one still has a lot to offer. You go the through about 4 different levels of Underdark fighting hoardes of new enemys. You can level up to level 40 which is great (undrentide is 20). This is a great expansion pack. Again the only problem is if u played NWN on a less powerful computer, the system requirements are:Macintosh computer running OSX v10.2.8 or higher, 800MHz G4 or faster processor (1.2GHz or faster recommended), 256MB RAM, 32MB or higher (NVIDIA GeForce 2/ATI Radeon recommended) video card, 1.2GB free hard drive space, 8X CD-ROM drive, local area network, with TCP/IP protocol or established internet connection for multiplayer (56 Kbps modem or faster required). So if you meet those requirements and own NWNs buy this expansion. Also purchase The Shadows of Undrentide as well. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Scrabble works!(With effort)
At first I couldn't get the thing to run.The screen would turn black and I was hosed. The trick is that if you have a firewall you need to give "Scrabble v2.0.exe" access to the internet (complete with the space).I couldn't find this in the ReadMe file.I found this while trying to install another version of Scrabble, "Scrabble Complete" which has better on-line support.
1-0 out of 5 stars Scrabble
This release is so old that it can only be played on a machine where the video card will go down to the 256 color mode.It is useless on a modern machine.

1-0 out of 5 stars Scrabble for the Mac
According to the Amazon.com information, this version of Scrabble was for Win 95, win 98, and ME, plus Mac OS.What I got was for Win 3.1, and Win 95, plus Mac.It would not load on my Mac I BOOK, OSX. I think this is a very old, old, version and not made to work on Mac OSX.I rated it a "1" because I can't load it, therefore can't use it. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A beautiful game, but not a $50 game
HW2 is all of the things everyone else says: It's visually stunning, without crushing your processor, the music and sound effects in general are amazing, and the actual gameplay is quite enjoyable. The pace is generally slow and stately, with bursts of frenetic combat. You definitely feel the hugeness and majesty of space while you're playing it, and that, combined with the fact that you never see a human face or figure, create a strange sort of detached, lonely intensity to the game.
4-0 out of 5 stars If you've got time to learn it.
This is a great game if you have time to kill and don't mind learning the convoluted controls.

4-0 out of 5 stars No Tiger Problems Here
I don't have much to add as far as the content of this game, but I would like to say that I have been playing Homeworld 2 steadily over the last few days on 10.4 Tiger, and so far I have not encountered any problems whatsoever. So to all you potential buyers out there, don't let the previous reviewer scare you - Homeworld 2 runs just fine on Tiger. You now have no good reason not to buy this game. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Wo......
I've been playing this game since I was...lets see here...seven I think.I'm now fourteen, and have started this game over numerous times, and only beat a year ago.It is one of my favorite games of all time, with some of the most beautiful music ever produced, and amazing visules.I haven't played the first two, or the last two, but I just ordered "Myst" and "Riven", and I can't waite.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best of the Myst series!
I have played all of the Myst games 1-5 and believe that Exile is by far the best of them.I loved the variation in the ages, the story line, and the puzzles.I felt Riven was too difficult and became frustrating because there were puzzles that required going between ages.Exile was up to Myst standards as far difficulty, but wasn't so difficult that it was frustrating or I felt the need to constantly resort to hints to figure parts of it out.
4-0 out of 5 stars Challenging and entertaining.
The third installment in the Myst series brings us yet another adventure into the beautiful and enchanting worlds of Atrus's creation. The story begins in Tomahna, a tranquil world where Atrus and his family now reside. Upon Catherine's suggestion, you wait inside the study for Atrus's return. Once your old friend arrives, he discusses his plans for the D'ni and the newly created Age of Releeshahn. However, his dialogue is cut short when a strange-looking intruder warps into the room, steals the Releeshahn Book, and immediately links away using his own linking book. Determined to recover the stolen book, you follow the wild man and link to J'nanin, the Lesson Age.

4-0 out of 5 stars Multiplayer is great
BF1942 is my favorite FPS game ever. Maybe becasue i havent played a ton of other games, but still, this game is great. The graphics are OK, not the best, but still acceptable. Playing singleplayer will not really get you a feel of what really goes on on the Battlefield, but playing multiplayer will. This game is by far the greatest WWII multiplayer game ever. No other game comes close. You can talk to anyone playing the game with you, and there are not any stupid AI who dont know how to shoot a bullet.
    2-0 out of 5 stars Not What I Thought I Was Getting. . . .
I ordered this after playing, and beating, all of the difficulty levels of Medal of Honor and Call of Duty. From what I've read, this was supposed to be the motherload of WWII simulations.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great Multiplayer Action
Even though it's showing its age, Battlefield 1942 is still a great multiplayer experience. I hust bought a new iMac G5 and my PC friends still wanted to game with me. After I installed the Desert Combat 0.7 modification we were off and playing online again. The only real issue is that even with a 2.0 Ghz G5 and 1.5 GB of RAM, it struggles against 49 bots on an enemy team. Just play online against humans or keep the bot count a bit lower. I like the ability to play with my Windows using friends. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Still Amazing After All These Years
Though I am reviewing games that were made over 7 years ago, they are still amazing. I am actually reviewing 3 games total, which are Diablo, Diablo 2, and Diablo 2: Lord Of Destruction. When the first Diablo was released everyone was so happy many copies of the game were sold and it was a hallmark in gaming because it has brought so many ideas, though this game is a hallmark its "magic touch" has went away and it kind if rapidly gets boring, the thing that is best about it is the story and the characters you can interact with there are plenty of them, but my favorite part of the game is definetly the the many different types of monsters, for when it was made the monsters were amazing. Now the Diablo 2 review. When Diablo 2 was created in 1999 it was amazing and I am glad to say that it still has its "magic touch." It has an amazing selection of monsters to choose from. It has a good warriors to choose from. In the first Diablo when you got something like a magic weapon when you wear it wouldn't show anything except a normal weapon, but now in Diablo 2 you can see difference like the color or even the look. The graphics are even better then Diablo and amazing for its time. It is much more longer than Diablo, and has a great story behind. Somehow it kind of is violent, for example dead bodies of mutilated people and people exploding. This game has is amazing and will remain amazing. Now Diablo 2 LOD (Lord Of Destrucion.) This game isn't much different from Diablo 2, except for that you have 2 more character classes, a new part in the story, and a little more armor and stuff. WARNING: If you have beat Diablo 2 and you are thinking that you can use your file from Diablo 2 On LOD then you cannot do this. It is recommended that you just play LOD instead of normal Diablo 2, because of the extra content. I forgot to mention probably the best part of the game, Battle Net it works on all 3 games and it makes these game even more fun, it lets you play online sort of like a MMO like game and lets you play with friends and beat the game with them. These hallmarks in gaming are great and shouldn't be missed, if you don't have these games now, it is highly recommended that you buy the games. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars GOOOD
This game is not as good as battlefront 2 but it's still a great game. you can play as whoever you want. the only problem is that the computers are stupid, they stand around doing nothing unless you tell them to follow you.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWSOME
Love it. You can be 4 diffrent classes: Soldrier, Heavy gunner, Sniper, Piolit, or Special. Be on the Republic, Sepritist, Rebels, or Empire! And have help from four diffrent heros, Republic: Mace Windu, Sepritist: Count Dooku, Empire: Darth Vader, and Rebels: Luke Skywalker. Fight on 9 diffrent planets: Tattione, Bespin, Endor, Naboo, Kamino, Kashyyk, Hoth, Yavin, Geonosis, and Rhen Var. Also do diffrent maps for each of the Planets. Well hope you like Star Wars BattleFront and if you dont like this Lucas Arts came out with a sequel to the first Star Wars BattleFront. May the Force be with you... Always!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great SW Game
This is a great game. You get to choose genders and type of class, like Scout Soldier or Scoundrel. The best part is the plot. You get to have different endings and your conversations can effect what happens to your party members. This is a must have game.

4-0 out of 5 stars A long LONG time ago?
This is definitely a fun game, but don't play it unless you have a lot of time on your hands because you can easily get engrossed and play for a good 10 hours (I'm guilty of that).
      3-0 out of 5 stars 10.4.2 warning!
This game will not work with 10.4.2, unless you use the Aspyr-provided workaround. Here's what they had to say:

3-0 out of 5 stars Black aned White Platinum Pack (MAC)
This game is beautiful to play, but i did not expect such a level of Micro-management.Your people copmplain constantly and it really becomes a pain.I though i would spend my time taking over other villages and casting fireballs, but really i'm totally occupied giving food and bulding huts. Its a game that some love and others hate.

5-0 out of 5 stars Bad or good.....
Bad or good, you make the choice. The game is awesome after you get past the learning part.Haven't played it for Mac yet.If you want a break from WW2, gun wielding, bomb dropping, gun fights. Then get this game. Then if you like it, get B&W2 for Mac when they release.I'm Brandon, and I'm telling you to try this game!

2-0 out of 5 stars same disc installing issues
I had the same problem installing B&W to my powerrbook...upon the request to insert the "Data disc", the darn thing just spit right back out of the drive.Very frustrating and the support websites listed in the manual don't help out either. ... Read more
