5-0 out of 5 stars A game to be appreciated.
If you are an avid Nintendo fan, and you have an SNES, then you need to get this game.Yoshi's Island shows a lot of evolution in Nintendo's oldschool games.Although it is nothing like it's predecessor, a.k.a. "Super Mario World," it still manages to maintain the feel of a traditional Mario game.
5-0 out of 5 stars A SNES ALL TIME CLASSIC
MY favorite SNES title available.Super Mario World had many levels and was like Super Mario Bros.3 upgraded into a whole new realm of 2-d.This time around this doesn't follow the traditional MArio franchise style of gameplay. You play as the little dino Yoshi and his pals(wich are multi colored yoshis!)
5-0 out of 5 stars Good Game For Everybody
I find it odd that I would give this game a higher overall rating than fun rating, but I feel it's appropriate.

5-0 out of 5 stars The orignal and the best!!!
Do you remember in 1991, it's your birthday and your parents bought you a Sega Genesis that came with Sonic the Hedgehog? So you set it up and put the game in and amazed by the graphecs and speed. Yes my friends this game is better than that fat man Mario and his stupid brother Luigi. This game is fast, fun and has great music. So buy this game and you won't be sorry!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars First and Best
This is one of the greatest games of all time for me, next to OoT (Ocarina of Time.). Sorry Sonic, had to side with Nintendo. This is a classic that every Genesis owner should own, and if you don't own it, I'LL STRING YA UP!!! Anyway, this game deserves a 10 star rating and will be remembered by all of us who have experienced it first hand.
5-0 out of 5 stars A CLASSIC
Sonic The Hedgehog 1 for the Sega Genesis system is one of the greatest video games ever created. For those that don't know, It is getting a 15th anniversary Gameboy Advance Re-release in November, 2006. It will feature 2 new features. The first feature, will be a save feature and the second, Sonic will be able to do the spin-dash thing he was able to in Sonic 2. I'm so excited. I hope that they re-release Sonic 2 (with Knuckles), 3 (with knuckles), and Sonic And Knuckles on GBA on their 15th anniversary. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Pleased with product
I am enjoying the games, but am not familiar with all of them. There were no game rules/instructions with a few of them, so am trying to figure them out. I recommend the game pack overall.

5-0 out of 5 stars Happy with the games
Having these games on my iPAQ makes the drive to school much more fun for my 11 year-old son.

3-0 out of 5 stars Expected just a bit more from Microsoft for the Money
For the amount of money to get these particular 10 games, all of which either turned up as a game that shipped with one or more versions of windows and a few others that were in previous Entertainment Paks for Windows, 10 games that required little additional programming to port to the new Pocket PC platform wasbit for a disappointment for the money. On the other hand, these are the games that many of us who work with a desktop or laptop at other times are familiar with, and most are easy to play in a screen where control of the on-screen activity is mostly a stylus or entering words. There are a number of games from previous entertainment paks that could have been ported and included and were not. That was disappointing, as it would be nice to change out these 8-10 games to keep something 'fresh' to do while waiting in lines, for a table in a restaurant or in a doctor's office. You can only play solitaire for so long and not get really bored. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Fun game, but pretty easy to complete
I picked this up because I really enjoyed the first mech commander. This one is much slicker, but for all its new graphics and everything, the basic play is not as good as the first one.The camera is a pain to control during battles, the sprites for the other mechs disappear at times, the mechs are not as much fun to upgrade, and the stock senario is kind of lame.I mean why would you play as a merc if you have no choice in the missions.Over all I rate the game high just because of the Theme, but it could have been done much better.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Good
You're a Mech Commander in the far future trying to defeat three rival clans to end a war. What you do decide to do will determine what happens to your warriors but more importantly, the war at hand.
5-0 out of 5 stars Sweet Game
I've grown up with Mechwarrior 2 and found out you don't have to stay in the cockpit. You have an aerial view which gives a great look of the battlefield and what's behind the enemy base (as far as turrets, building, walls, etc. not vehicles and mechs, you can only see those if you get close enough to fight them). It has great zoom and rotate controls. What I liked most about the game is that if you play a level many times you can always find a different way to beat it as in one time you beat a level using brute force of Assault class mechs and the next time you can beat a level using Light mechs with jump jets and Guardian Ecm suites so they can go anywhere and are invisible. Two ways to beat one level, stealth or strength, you choose. One thing I didn't like was the mission editor, it was too complicated. One of the best parts is the pilots talk to you and you can change the color of you mechs and vehicles. Another cool thing is the mechs' weapon systems are customizable as well as their armor. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars life game
when i received the game it did not work. i emailed the company i got it from twice and i never received an answer

3-0 out of 5 stars Major error ruined game
Most of these digital board games are not much better than the physical game, but we thought we'd try it out.Never again. One player made a decision at the end and should have one the game, but she wasn't crediting with her dollars so it calculated all the rankings incorrectly. How frustrating to get to the end of the game only to find out there is a major bug.The programmers don't have to worry about high end moving graphics so more care should be taken to make the play accurate.Although the technology is low end, I would be willing to give a high rating to a game which works properly.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Family Fun!
My kids and I stumbled across this game on an internet site, we tried it, liked, and I bought it. This is really a great game for the family, and my kids get a real kick out of the videos from the spaces you land on. It's a new twist on an old classic. We love it! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Nice Graphics but overall disappointing
Zombie AI was just bad. Scripted events if you ducked back fast enough would cause the Zombie to stand still while you shot at them. Also it was so short a game I am glad that I got it for cheap. It took me alittle over 2 hrs to beat the game. I'd say wait till this puppy hits the $10 rack or becomes abandonware.

1-0 out of 5 stars fundamentally flawed
i want to be nice to this game, because there are soooo many terrible PC games out there, however i just can't.i enjoyed the demo at first, i was digging killing the zombies with the guns.. but then i ran out of ammo.at first i thought "that's good," because FPS games tend to have too much available ammo where you can always use your best weapon, but some good games will force you to use your other weapons which leads to gameplay variety.so i pick up my lead pipe to wail on these zombies melee-style, and what happens?THE PIPE IS TERRIBLE.it takes foooorrreeeevvveeeerrrr for your character to swing the thing!now that's boring, and consider i was playing "john deere: american farmer" before that, literally watching corn grow and was more entertained than this pipe swing.you could go make a pot of coffee, drink 2 cups and then by the time you got back, your guy would still be swinging. :Dbottom line is, any game that screws up on such a fundamental level of melee weapons isn't worth playing any longer.if you want a game like this, play painkiller or condemned.the chronicles of riddick has much more interesting melee/fist fighting action too.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not a game to go hog wild over.
I got the game hoping that it would deliver the same performance that the movie did. Unfortunately, its just like other movies to game conversion. Probably the only difference is is that it has decent graphics (only 64mb video card minimum req), but nothing like the major Quake or Doom titles. Of course, those games take more time & effort being put into them, thus require more hardware in your computer. The company did a great job of creating the game, unfortunately there are some characteristics of the game that fell short. For instance, the character is overall too slow. The zombies can easily catch up with him. Also, last time I checked, the movie never had a character that was a farmer in it. They should have tried to take a character from the movie, then it would have been more interesting. Next, you couldnt melee attack a zombie until the 3rd level of the single player mode. Probably the best thing you could have done was allow the original & 1st weapon, the farmers shotgun, to melee attack the zombies (& I dont mean just w/ the butt of the weapon). Another thing that would have kept the game interesting would have been to get the phones & tv back & working again, w/ the remaining humans left to work those to help other humans get together or something. Most definitely the worst part, was the fact that in the end of the game, you usually have a boss. Well unfortunately, during the whole game, you face the boss. The ending is just about 10 zombies that you have to kill, only difference is you have an arsenal of weapons to choose from. The great thing is you get to choose from secondary melee weapons. My best advice, if you choose to buy & own this game, is to keep the fire axe. Also, to have a lil fun as well as to slow down the zombies, use a 6-shooter to shoot @ the legs (only 1 leg) to have them start crawling. If youre lucky, you can have them wiggling really funny by shooting 1 leg & 1 arm off. Well I said nuff. I will admit that there is 1 (just one) fun area in the game, but ill let u find that. Unfortunately the fun area doesnt last long (typical for this kind of game). The great thing that kept this game above the half way mark in rating is the fact that you have multiplayer capabilities. Just a lil hint: if you plan on playing the game online, dont be a dummy & make sure you have DSL or better connection cause there are still some people that have dial up crud (no offense, used to use it myself). So ya, make sure you have DSL if you plan on playing the game online. Anyways, good luck to those who buy the game & I am def gonna sell my version online. ... Read more

I was most disappointed when I found I could no longer play the original game on my system and was really pleased when I saw this game for XP.I am enjoying playing it, nothing has changed and it is as much fun as the original. The only drawback is that the amounts are all in American dollars and seeing as they ship globally you would have thought there would have been a currency option.Having said that, it is still really good and I spend many happy hours in my own theme parks! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Maybe not the best
This is a great piece of hard ware BUT, it is mono. When the Genesis 3 was released by majesco is came with a mono cable, but the original was stereo.I think that the best thing to do is get the stereo one for the Gen 2 and use that.It is much better to have stereo especially since most technology is now stereo.

Editorial Review

Sam Fisher is back for more espionage and intrigue in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. All the nail biting about whether to go in "hot" with guns blazing, or to use stealth is back in this new version, plus some amazing improvements. Chaos Theory ups the ante with vastly improved graphics, totally open level design, and coop gameplay. Fresh from the East Timor operations, Fisher is now put on the front lines of information warfare. The year is 2008 and the world is suffering from citywide blackouts, stock exchange sabotage, and electronic hijacking of national defense systems. The stakes are high and Fisher, as the NSA's most elite black-ops agent, is inserted in operations to aggressively gather intelligence. A wide range of missions call on a lethal mixture of weapons and close range combat. While Chaos Theory demands the same agility and athleticism required in previous Splinter Cell incarnations, some new weapons, gadgets and moves are available, such as the prototype Land Warrior rifle, and the stealthy, but oh-so-deadly inverted neck break.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Greatest NES game of all time
Ok,if ur into sport games, heres the main start of em all. Was it the first, no, but this is the most influencial(dont mind the spelling if I'm wrong). Tecmo Super Bowl is the game most gamers today will remember forever. Endless hours of fun gameplay, whole season options, stats, and oh yea, INJURIES. The greatest part of this is seeing ur injured player off the field, then a few games later ur recovered player hops out of the hospital and even gets waved to as he leaves. As silly as that seems its the first sports game i can recall with an injury option in it. This game is still most enjoyed with buddies playing multiple player seasons(oh yea, u can control as many teams as u want throughout the season), running for 200 yards a game or just tossing it 70 yards down the field for the long ball. Outdated, yes, over the edge, probably a little but still the greatest sports if not NES game ever. I assure you if ur a younger gamer and want to know where all the sports franchise games got their idea i strongly suggest this game. Would score this a 10 star if possible because its that fun, that good and that damn addicting.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best football emulator
This is simply one of the best nintendo games ever made, and the best football emulator of its time.Real time stat tracking, playing a whole season (with playoffs) either vs. the computer or your friends, and using real NFL teams/players, it was way way ahead of its time and is still as addictive now as it was then.Sure it has some goofy play aspects that are bogus in terms of "real football", but it's still a challenging skill game, and definitely a nostalgic favorite for anyone still using the original NES... either with the old TV game box or using an emulator online. This one set the bar for football emulators, and it still stacks up well with the new ones today.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best ever!
This is the best football game ever.It was well ahead of its day many years ago, and it is still fun to play today. For head to head competition, there has never been a better game to test a player's skills. The games of today play themselves too much. They just don't make them like this anymore. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The Best First Person Shooter you can buy
SWAT 4 puts you in the role of a special weapons and tactics officer. You will lead up to two teams of officers on a range of missions from hostage recuse to what I call 'get the bad guy' missions.. The Stetchkov Syndicate Expansion Pack adds more missions, vastly improves the visual graphics in the game and they were already top notch in the first place. Some people have complained that there are product placement ads on posters in the subway and things..but so what.. this just ads realizm to game..The MULTIplayer options were perfectly on LAN and on internet.. I play this game on the LAN with 1 to 4 other players and it rocks..This game is as good as Americas Army 2.6 .. maybe slightly better in some ways..I highly recommend it.

1-0 out of 5 stars Guess I'll buy a different game
Pros:

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent graphics; good for number, letter, pattern recognition
TECHNICAL ASPECTS FOR INSTALLATION
3-0 out of 5 stars Good content, poor structure
We bought this game for our (...) daughter and we were disappointed. There are virtually no instructions and the navigation between screens and games is mostly guesswork. On several screens we had to ask ourselves what the goal of the page was. Many of the games are nice and our daughter likes them, but the overall experience as a user is not great.

4-0 out of 5 stars its not bad
i got this as a b-day present and it wasnt bad. your raven in the game, inaracting with friends and going to places raven did in the hit tv show. it is a bit easy for me(im 12)and its too hard for my 6 year old sister so ill say 11 year olds will find it perfect. the graphics are disturbing because they are horrible and most of the time i play i focus on the graphics and they keep me from playing right. i also have that so raven 2 and its waaay better. if you are a 10-12 year old fan, than be my guest and get this game but if you dislike the show this will be diffucult and boring because you will be saying "who the heck is this person and why are they talking to me" and if your younger than 10, STAY AWAY. if you are looking for prefection you wont find it here. sorry raven, great show but your games arent so good!

5-0 out of 5 stars very cool

1-0 out of 5 stars So Stupid!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Still Fun Today
I started playing Bubble Bobble as soon as it came out.I don't know when that was, but I'm now 19 and I still love playing it.My sister and I gave our NES system to my grandma so we could play that when we're over for holidays. We'll still stay up until 2 oclock in the morning playing this game. We've still never beaten level 100, though. We have all the codes and skip the ones that are hard....(78).This is a great game.

5-0 out of 5 stars i still love this game
when ever i see a nes i think back to my childhood playing this game i loved it so much almost as much as i loved duck hunt

5-0 out of 5 stars Entertaining All Through the Night
Although this game is really old (for a video game anyway0 it still ensnares you with its simplicity, and its simple but addicting gameplay. As you (or you and your friend, because it is two player) journey through a series of "caves" you blow bubbles that capture enemies, and pop them as well to advance to the next level. There are over 100 hundred levels that come in different shapes and with different enemies as well.I can honestly say that I can sit down and play this game for hours on end, and still be entertained FOREVER.Bubble Bobble definately ranks high on my list of most entertaining games to play. This one is a must get if you are afan of old school video games, it is a classic that entertaines the player very quickly and easily. ...
