5-0 out of 5 stars wow
unbelievable. this is the most innovative game i have ever played. it is also one of the most overlooked. MAKE A SEQUEL!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Silicon Valley: Creativity and Innovation at its Best
As soon as Spacestation: Silicon Valley was inserted in my Nintendo 64, I really had no idea what to expect.I had read some articles in the past on the game in my favorite magazine, N64, and it seem to be shaping up to be a good game. However, I never thought that SSV would be one of the best games I had ever played.Well, SSV is just that: one of the most original, twisted, challenging, and addictive games available on the market today. Some, if not all gamers, have never even heard of the game.Well, to start, let me give a brief background on how the game begins, and how it is played. The game starts off with an introduction scene, in which a news station reports that SSV, a huge floating space colony, is still missing in space (making it 1000 years since it vanished). They have sent out various crews to find Spacestation, but have come up empty handed. Here, is where Evo (you), a robot, and Dan, the companion, come into play. They are a bunch of space freaks, who happen to accidentally crash land in SSV after arguing about what music to listen to.The landing breaks Evo into pieces, which float off into space;except for one key piece:the piece that is used to posses other robotic animals. This is one of the most created aspects of SSV, and there are more than forty different animals you can take control of.As you may have guessed, each animal has its own abilities, ranging from the classic water spray the elephant has, to the exploding brown mines the rat releases (or are those mines...).Animals have advantages and disadvantages as well. For example, the turtle may in fact be slow, but it packs a powerful cannon that fires long range. The game is divided into four unique environments:Europe, Arctic, Jungle, and Desert. There are nine levels in each world, which each have objectives, along with four bonus rounds (including my favorite, kangaroo boxing!).The objectives of each level are found before you select the level and vary greatly.Whether you are "collecting heads", or "gaining access to the King Rat's lair", you will surely have a fun time doing all the objectives. The objectives may sound easy, however, once you get well into the game, the difficulty bar rises, and suddenly the game gets much more challenging and the puzzles become tough as nails. With over forty levels, and forty animals, the game never gets repetitious, and the game will always have you coming back for more.In addition to to the non-stop gameplay, there comes the music in the game.SSV has possibly one of the best music sound tracks to this date.In fact, if you let go of the controller for a moment, the animals begin to groove themselves!Cheesy 70's style elevator music fits the game perfectly, and you will often find yourself humming these addictive tunes, even when you are not playing.Spacestation: Silicon Valley is an animal filled fest, and is nothing but pure gold when it comes to video games.Words simply cannot due justice for SSV.So, if you own a Nintendo 64, you should most definitely buy one of the most overlooked games of all time:Spacestation: Silicon Valley, by Take 2 and DMA designers.

...This game has tons of things to do: you can learn how to do new tricks is one example of what you can do while you're playing. A new move I learned how to do the other day is the bicycle kick. You can also look for the best team in the international league or national leagues. This game has stunning graphics, mind blowing shots, and all sorts of cool stuff! All you have to do is look in the right places.

3-0 out of 5 stars Nothing compared to the previous versions of NBA JAM
Being a followup version of NBA JAM it should have kept some of the same options previous versions had. Particuly the "dunks from anywhere" and "unlimited fire" codes. Because it's more fun to play with those codes sometimes then it is to play this difficult game. The stratagy compared to JAM is a lot harder and makes it less fun IMO, you can't just turn up the juice and kick your opponents a## in this one because the computer will always make a comeback instantly every single time, even if you get 20 points ahead all of a sudden you cant sink a bucket, your instantly blocked by the comp or it will steal from nowhere and there 3 pointers never miss even with players who in real life cant shoot for $#!%.
4-0 out of 5 stars Airball
Not many games in the video game industry can actually be a triumph as a spinoff, or a remake. For Midway, following up the success of NBA Jam was a difficult challenge. It became the highest-grossing video game in the industry, with more than $1 billion to the name. As NBA Hang Time was set to commence, many people had no idea of how good this game was going to be.4-0 out of 5 stars The newest NBA Jam, not bad at all
Hang Time was the newest incarnation of the very popular and ongoing NBA JAM series except now it went a little more high scale because it takes the NBA on NBC jingles, videos and of course the stills and visuals of the NBA on NBC TV programming.Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Maybe less than 2 Stars
Tarzan for the N64 isn't as somebody may think. It is NOT 3-D. Only some levels are in 3-D and you most of the time use the Control Pad to move Tarzan around the place. It is kind of challenging, and if you have not a controller pak, and you lose at the final levels, trust me: You will be mad. So, if you REALLY are into Tarzan get this and a Controller Pak, but action-adventure gamers like me would pass on this. It is not worth it. Tarzan:Untamed for the Gamecube is way better than this, and it is cheaper, and even that does not meet an action-gamer's expectations, so pass on this. The graphics aren't too good, the sound isn't that great, the controls are pretty hard, it is boring, it's not in 3-D, and even Yoshi's Story is much funner than this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Tarzan
Several months after Sony shipped Tarzan for the PlayStation, Activision released the same game to Nintendo 64 owners, perhaps in an attempt to satisfy those N64 fans who might have heard that the earlier Disney animated-film-to-game translation actually fared quite well. In both versions, gameplay is fun, diverse, and not just a cross-media no-brainier licensing affair. However, the N64 game does fall short of the previous version, in a couple of areas that do not necessarily impair the overall quality of the game. But first, on to the details. The single-player platform game follows the recently released animated film's plot exactly, and that's a very good thing, as the movie's pacing is conducive to the challenges you expect from a video game. Actually, what Tarzan captures, surprisingly, is the simplicity (with challenge) found in classic games. You play as Tarzan most of the time, first as the young ape-man in training and then later as the perpetually "prime of life" Tarzan. When you're not playing as Tarzan, you're running through the jungle as Jane, in a Victorian dress, attempting to flee a pack of baboons, or you're tearing up the campsite as Terk, Tarzan's she-ape companion. There are 14 levels in all, and, surprisingly, each level and the objective therein is strikingly different from one another. Sure, there are conventions that reoccur in some levels, such as swinging on vines or sliding along fallen trees. However, these consistent features contribute to your overall grasp of the gameplay and become more demanding as you proceed (yes, demanding, on anything other than the "easy" setting, which is insanely novice, yet good for beginning gamers, no doubt). About half the levels are composed of standard 2D platform jumping, while you grab items and avoid animals until you reach the end. The rest of the levels take advantage of action scenes in the movie. In the Stampede level, for example, you control Tarzan as he runs ahead of a pack of elephants Crash Bandicoot- or Herc's Adventures-style. You move from side to side and jump when necessary. This parallels the stampede scene in the movie. In the SaborAttacks level, you fight the leopard, Sabor, with a spear and with tricky jumping moves a number of times until you conquer him, just as in the film. The aforementioned event with Jane is the Baboon Chase level, which follows the movie so closely that it has Tarzan swinging in to save you, hence navigating the chase at that point. Bonus levels exist as well. To earn one, you must collect four pieces of Jane's baboon drawings scattered around the environment. If you do so, you'll glide down a stream on a raft, grabbing tokens and fruits until the timer runs out, or you'll ride through the jungle on a stork, doing the same, or you'll slide along the fallen trees in the style of Crystal Dynamics' Pandemonium, ducking limbs and jumping over others. What's the point of tokens and fruit? It's all pretty intuitive. The tokens, in lots of 100, give you an extra life, and the fruits (yellow, purple, red, and blue of varying strengths and availability), are for you to lob at animals that get in your way. You'll also pick up other objects, such as a stone blade, to use against close-range predators. Bananas are used to increase your health meter and are pretty readily available throughout the game. If you collect all the letters in Tarzan's name (also scattered throughout each level), you open up movies that move the game forward. Worthy of mentioning, too, is the fact that you can go back and replay saved levels, should you want to find all the tokens, drawing pieces, or letters to gain extra lives (necessary for some of the later levels) or acquire a better ending score. One problem with the N64 Tarzan is that the controls aren't the greatest. The PlayStation version was moderately plagued by similar shortcomings, yet the N64 stick does not respond well to climbing, swinging, or fighting tigers. In fact, the analog offers entirely too much freedom - a feature that Tarzan gameplay doesn't require. Stick with the D-pad or nothing, for the most part, through most of this game. You'll usually deal with the animals (sometimes your enemies, sometimes there to give you a lift) immediately, but if you don't, you'll discover fairly quickly that the AI isn't too swift. In most cases, the animals are predictable and can be dispelled with fruit bombs or avoided altogether with little effort - with the exception of the evil, evil birds. We also noticed that the collision is occasionally laughable. Several times we managed to use our knife, which is more of a handheld stone blade, to dispose of pesky animals without even making contact with them. But this wasn't a repeated offense, so it's forgivable, considering the game's strong points. In the sensory areas, Tarzan doesn't really look too fantastic on the N64. The PlayStation version (all hail the disc!) offers animated cutscenes from the movie to progress the plot along, while the N64 version tosses you into the gameplay, so as a result the N64 game doesn't have the same degree of plot coherence. Some slowdown is apparent if too much action is happening on the screen, which can be annoying on levels such as the Baboon Chase, wherein you're trying to knock apes out of your way as you run from baboons and avoid other obstacles. In a word, consistency in speed is mandatory to get through such challenges successfully. Also, the N64 cart doesn't support the rich sound you expect. It's somewhat muddled-sounding. However, all in all, Tarzan on the N64 is a pleasant surprise that rises from its rough spots with a fair amount of success. While the game is not particularly mind-stumping or sophisticated, it is challenging and does require a good amount of skill, whether in jumping from place to place, knowing where hidden items might be, or fighting belligerent leopards who lunge a lot. Even if movie-license games turn you off, this game is an exception and worth taking a look at. If you can't stand Disney and have no interest in the franchise, this game is still worth looking at

5-0 out of 5 stars The best game ever!
I played this game at my friend's house. I was very good at it but still needed more practice. That's when I got it. The first couple of levels are there just so you can learn how to play. If you've seen the movie, you'll know who Terk is. While you are playing the forst couple of levels, the are little Terk "heads". If you jump up and touch them, Terk will come out and teach you how to do somthing. For example, in one level he teaches you how to swing on vines. After that things get a little trickier. In one of the levels, you have a stampede of elephants chasing after you. Terk doesn't show up in that one, so it's kind of hard. I myself have never finished the game. But even though it is a little frustrating when you lose, (somtimes) it's still fun. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Fun
Aerofighter Assault is a really nice aircraft simulator and has pretty good graphics for an n64 game. Though the weapons are sort of unrealistic (ninja stars?), the gameplay and individual feel and control of each plane more than makes up for it. I personally prefer the fx plane, it has a really powerful special and is very maneuverable. The countinuous pilot talk does get a little annoying after a while and, for some reason, the storyline gameplay does not go by difficulty (or a least for me....It took me only 1 try to comeplete the 6th mission while it took me more 5 tries for the 3rd mission). Overall this game is great and will have you captivated for hours.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best
I love this game, but until now (soon) I will be able to play it whenever I want. My cousin rented it twice. But now I bought it used. Anyway, it is the coolest game to play and is really neat. Personally, I like crashing my planes into buildings and shooting missiles at them. It's so much fun. I think it's the best N64 game I've ever played.

4-0 out of 5 stars N64's Ultimate Air Combat Game...
This game is Nintendo 64's best game of air combat. You have four different planes to choose from including: F-14 Tomcat, FS-X, SU 35, and an A-10. Eash plane has their own different missles like the standard F-14's, stars, fireballs, and rockets. Each plane has a special weapon like a Ninja Beam (the strongest), Tomohawk missles, a fire wave, and a bomb. Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars not that great
I rented this game the other day not sure how it would be. As it turns out , its fun,but not that great. The graphics arent really up to what they should be.Maybe thats just because I also have a playstation 2 and ever since everything looks much crappier. The overall racing was fun but there wasnt enough modes. Its basically race or race. No freestyle modes. In conclusion , buy a ps2. It will enhance your gameplaying 10 fold, or however you want to put it.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Sloan Bishop Review
Fighting force is a fun game. You pick either Hawk, Smasher, Mace, and Alana. Your friend (one friend) can also pick someone else. These characters are apperently part of an anti-terrorist group, or something like that. You are trying to find a man named Zeng, but you have to fight hundreds of other people, male and female, in the MANY levels. If you rack up enough points at certain times you can pick which level you want to go to next. Also, after certain levels, you fight a boss, a HARD boss. There is alot to destroy in the levels, and pick up the power ups(Silver stuff is health, and so are Cokes). There are guns, knives, bottles, projectiles,(I think that's how you spell it) and explosives that you can pick up. You have fighting moves too. One move takes away life though. Certain items are too heavy for the girls an Hawk, but smasher can pick them up, examples are car engines and tires. The bad things are, it is very hard, unless you put on the immortality cheat, then it's too easy. The gameplay can become repedative, and there are only about 20 different looking enemies for both genders. Overall, this is a fun game for you and your friend (1), or for just you.

4-0 out of 5 stars Oh yeah there's tons of fighting.
Basically a stress relieving game.Fighting force I would say is one of the classic games. But now rare and hard to find I would say if you do come across it try it out and if it does suit your fighting needs buy it.The only turn down is that the graphics are not the best and the game at times is repetative. But overall I would recommened it to anyone who enjoy's a quick fight.

3-0 out of 5 stars Fighting Force
This game wasn't that bad at all. It's more like a new rendition of the pld CAPCOM side scroller game, FINAL FIGHT.It plays similar to that.It uses the full scale 3-D view and it has a lot more pick up items and the action is very good and it's a great team game.Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Best Soccer Game
International Superstar Soccer '98 (ISS-98) is probably the best soccer game I've ever played. It may be '06, but this is better than any other next gen soccer game. Here is my review.
4-0 out of 5 stars A Solid Soccer Game
When you consider the vintage of this game, it is really rather outstanding (It came out in 1997). The gameplay is better, and more realistic in many respects, than FIFA 98,99,00,01, or 02. The only thing the FIFA titles top this game in are graphics(all the FIFA titles), shooting(FIFA 02 and 02 World Cup only)and goalie movement and control (FIFA 02 and 02 World Cup only). The recent vintage Konami titles which have come out, largely in Europe and Asia, must be fabulous, bearing in mind the Company has had five years to improve on the ISS 98 game foundation. If something other than MLS Extra Time were to be marketed here in the US by Konami, I definitely would pick up a copy. If I were reviewing this game in 1997, it would have easily gotten a 5. Since it is 2002 after all, it now garners a solid 4. Not shabby, by any means!!

5-0 out of 5 stars The opposition stands no chance!
The original ISS was the game that set the standards for all to follow. Never before had we experienced such fluid gameplay that was unlike anything previously seen. With ISS 98, the impossible was achieved; it was improved.Read more

Well, I don't own a copy of MACE, as they dont sell it in england, but i've played my friends version and the arcade version. I wasn't disapointed. For an N64 game this has good graphics/gameplay. Its intense, gory and an all round bit of fun. I'd recomend this to anyone who likes fast paced fighting games.

I bought this game used a couple of years ago ..... I'm not quite sure why these guys are charging [their price] though. In this game its cool cause they do all the normal punches, kicks, and combos of normal fighting games but then they all also have weapons such as swords, axes, spikey balls on a chain, etc. This game is tons of fun for years and even though I own an XBOX and a couple games for it I still place Mace occaisionally.

4-0 out of 5 stars Really Intense Fighting!
This is a great game! The game play is intense, lots of spectacular moves that aren't too hard to learn. The graphics are really well done and there are lots of arenas to fight in, making the game interesting. It's not the best fighting game, but it's really good and I recommend it to anyone that enjoys fighting games. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars The Worst Wrestling Game EVER!
I was a huge fan of Acclaims first two wrestling released (Warzone & Attitude) but when I played THQ's WCW/NWO REVENGE the first time, I found it to be more enjoyable then the Acclaim games. Even tho I wasnt a fan of the WCW after a while that game became extremly addicting. And I was thrilled when I heard THQ obtained the rights to WWF and released Wrestlemania and No Mercy. 1-0 out of 5 stars This game was the reason I stopped watching WCW
Seriously, grab your shovels and let's bury this one because it totally bites! WCW/NWO Nitro is easily the worst game ever and I'm seriously talking about EVER!! No other game that I've ever played was this bad!4-0 out of 5 stars GOOD OVER ALL GAME!
This game has flaw's, the game play on it ain't all that, but it's easier, and better game play, than Attitude, and War Zone! The character's are realistic looking, and there are some cool finishing moves on this game, but the hidden character's are hard enough to get.I suggest, getting thecode, or the player's guide, so you can actually do there moves as well. Another flaw on this game, is that it was rushed out!Right after Revengecame out, Nitro was released. Not a good comparasin. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I love it!
I love this toy because I can get far in a game. Without it you would have to leave the system on all day because once you shut off the game all of the things you just did are erased, this only is for some N64 games. Plus I love the coler.
