It gives the N64 a little kick
Where do I start? It has current up to date rosters of all the world cup teams. For friendly matches there is a stadium and wether selection. Game play is smooth and realistic. Tought AI make it and keep it challenging.Create and edit players is also available and a wide arrange of specialmoves to keep even the AI guessing. All in all this is a pretty good gameto play.....The only thing I did not like was the referee was a littlestiff....(But hey...aren't they in any sport). A decent sequel.
This game is a decent follow-up to the title released last year. Much has stayed the same, but it is still a solid N64 game. It does not have the excitement that you would normally get from an EA game, but the game underneath here still provides plenty of fun for any N64 owners. ... Read more

Baad!!!
This game is rather BAD! The graphics are lacking and the music, well, don't get me started on the music! It's like some kind of wannabe techno. Take my advice, DON'T BUY IT!!!!

Average Game With Its Ups And Downs
Really this game isn't all that bad, it infact is a nice game with neat graphics, interesting levels and may i say very interesting cars. The sound to me on this game is great, each level has its own music, the type of music which is perfect for racing to and the controls are easy to learn however, my only complaint is that this game lacks in replay value, like i kept playing this game over and over again until i finally managed to beat this somewhat tough game, but then once i finnished i never even really played this game much, you just get bored of it. I think the game could have featured some special tracks which you could get by completing challenges, and i think this game could have worked more on the fun factor, maybe add more interesting little games for multiplayer. Lowly recomend you buy this, highly recomend you rent this.

Great Game very chalenging
This game is very chanlanging and fun. At first you might not like it but as you gain more cars it gets harder and alot more chlanging. Anyone looking fo and action/adventure game this is for you. Sad Catz
I bought two of the mad catz controllers for my children for Christmas this year.Within two months both of the plugs were irrepairabley broken off!We still have the two name brand controllers that we have had for almost 3 years now, and they both still work wonderfully!Don't waste your money on Mad Catz controllers of any kind.We will stick with the name brand products from now on. ... Best game ever!
This was released in 96 and I can still remember the first time I played this game.This was one of the first games to trully be 3D. The levels are great the sound is amazing. I dont think even to this day that there has been another video game that has totally captavated me like this game....................BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fun, but sloppy controls make it hard.
The game is fun, but simple tasks can be very hard thanks to the sloppy controls. If you die, you start the level all over again. I spent three hours Trying to collect the 8 red coins of cool. cool. Mountain. The sloppy controls kept me sliding of mountains, causing me to start all over. I don't recomend it for younger children unless they dont mind messing around in the first few levels.

Super Mario 64 was the first Mario game to feature 3D graphics, some loved it, some thought it wasnt too great. I am in the first group, proudly! This game is unexplainable, it's amazing how much emotion and wonder and awe it brings whenever I play it, no matter how old I am. I first got this game when in 1998, for Christmas. I was 6 at the time, and I remember all the emotions I felt playing the game. I was so excited when I first turned it on, i skipped all the beginning text and went right to battling baddies. Since i had played mario games before on my dad's NES, I knew what the storyline was (defeat bowser) and basic moves like jump, stomp goombas, etc. I remember being so scared of the man eating piano, and being fascinated by the huge first world, and the excitment of first finding the Princess's secret slide! I have been playing the game again lateley, and I can only appreciate it even more. I now understand the WHOLE story, and can perform the mre complicated moves with ease. It takes me less time to get thru the game, but the level of fun is the same (even if i'm nt scared of the piano ;) ... Read more

Great design but horrible durability
There are other reviewers saying that the durability is great, but it is not.This controller will only last you for a few months if you play games on your 64 often.I can still use my original NES controllers, but now I can't even use my 64 controllers because the sticks on them are so messed up--there is something wrong with this.It is a shame because the controller is designed very well, it just isn't designed to last.
Now this might seem kinda weird....
Kinda weird talking about a controller, and they usually arn't thought of too much. But this controller is really quite easy to get used to. In several situations, it can be used however the person wants, for comforts sake. It has the classic arrow directions, the newer joy stick, your average A and B buttons, a C button, split into 4 parts for specifics (left right up and down), the return of the L and R buttons from SNES, and a new, never before seen, Z button. All buttons are very reachable, however you choose to hold the controller. It has a total of 13 buttons and a joystick, yet they are all easily accessed. It is complex, but not complex so that things are hard to access. Everything from this point on, is the game programers idea of how it would be best to configure buttons to functions. The Z feels like a good trigger and the joy stick is great for directions in a way the key pad never was.

BEWARE The KNOCK-OFF Third Party brands
Products offered by many marketplace sellers are not original Nintendo Brand. Often they are unlicensed third party knock-off expansion packs. Ive personally had these damage a system and ruin games. Look for sellers offering the real thing by Nintendo. Ive warned you. You can save a few bucks and take your chances. Deviation from the actual product isn't even allowed on Amazon. Their very listings are a violation to begin with. Their feedback speaks for itself.

ok yeah i got my N64 a few days ago from EB Games and i cant figure out how to get it out but my friend had an N64 but he didnt have an expansion pak so we compared the graphics cuz ppl said it was better w/ the pak in it and they were right its alot better w/ the expansion pack

i would recommend this game to all gamers.get the n64 it a killer console!!!!!!!!!!!!!It's better than the ps1 and even the ps2! The games plays much better with extremely low loading time. For example, I own nba live 2000 for both the ps1 and n64. It took only about two seconds to start the game on the n64 and more than 20 seconds to load the same game on the ps1. If you don't have time to waste on those slow loading systems you have to get the n64. It's probably the fastest loading game system we have out there.

The Nintendo 64,is the BEST Nintendo home console yet.....
I don`t really like the GameCube,too many games made purely for kids,but any T and M rated games that were on it,ROCKED!,think Resi Evil.Anyways I`m hoping the Nintendo Wii will have the content and audience as the N64 did,that way the Wii won`t be excluded from next-gen competition,imo the PlayStation ONLY bet N64 because of the CD media rather than cartridge,if N64 had adopted the Compact Disc,the N64 would have Beaten the hell out of PS1 for many reasons,like better games and better controller,not to mention BETTER graphics and cheaper price.

Can anyone tell me if this is the Mario games that has them racing ona beach, in a ice castle(or something), a dirt track and other places?

Fantastic multiplayer game
I'm 15 and have been playing this game since I was 9 and it's still fun.I just recently brought it out again and it really brings back emories form playign it at my cousins or at my nieghbors house.The multipler racing and battle never gets old and mabye after a while 1 player gets old but thats why u got friends so this is definetly a must have for the N64.

i;m not that big on racing games, but this one just blew me away! at first... but then it got very easy very fast! and you need at least 2 N64 controllers to have fun. this game is a lot better with 2-4 players, otherwise, it can just be easy, boring, and dumb after a while. but then you take a month or two break from the game, and it's pretty fun again... for a while. ... One of my favorite games of all time!!!!
When I purchased this game the graphics were obviously amazing with the new nintendo 64. I used to play this hours on end, doing the single player missions over and over and also having some friends over to play multiplayer. After the playstation 2 came out I pushed the nintendo 64 over for a few weeks but I found my self slowly returning to some goldeneye along with a few other great nintendo 64 games.
This game ROCKS!!
I purchaced this game many years ago and I have to say it is one of the best games EVER!!!

This is one of my favorite FPS's of all time. It stands right alongside Halo, and Battlefield 1942. The single player missions are done wonderfully, the enviroments are great, and the multiplayer is the best I have ever played.

No other first person shooter even comes close! better than halo,goldeneye,resident evil, silent hill,doom 64, everything!!! really cool,fun cheats and weapons you earn after each level!and great full motion cinema after each level too!good dialog good sound ! very realistic good acting in the cinema scenes too!hard to believe I got this game for only 4 dollars at a used games retailer!Its worth more, definatly.the only thing about this game I dont like is it takes 12-13 years of constantly battling the boss at the end to defeat him,other than that its really awesome.P.S.I still have not defeated the skedar boss yet!!Ok maybe it dont take that long, but its alot of work to win the game!!I still love it!

Back when Perfect Dark was released, it had a generally good reception. (Aside from some Goldeneye fanboys who thought their "IMPERFECT DARK LOL" reviews were clever.) Does it still hold up, two gens later? Sure. At its time, it was easily the best offline multiplayer FPS available. And as a person who's seen every tired Halo/generic military shooter clone, I'd argue that it still retains that position. PD's game mechanics are taken straight from Goldeneye and tweaked somewhat, which led to criticism from people who asserted it was derivative. But with video games, it's better to flesh out and explore the aspects of a previously established niche than to drudge ahead into adventurous territory for the sole virtue of doing something new. PD expands Goldeneye's forumla on every conceivable level. The basics are here; Left and right C buttons strafe, hold R to aim, and press the awesomely-placed Z button to fire. The otherwise awkward N64 controller was practically made for FPSs. The physics though, are far improved. When strafe to get away from a more heavily-armed opponent, you feel as though you're running for your life. If you use a heavy weapon like the reaper, kneel down for improved accuracy and you can wipe corridors clean of foes. Disarm an armed enemy and stand behind him as he surrenders for an improvised human shield. Everything boils down to logic, thus skill usually prevails as opposed to mastery of overly complicated controls, which is PD's strength.

This is a fun and exciting game. You collect alot of mask and they let you do something special or change you to a diffrent form. You go to 4 temples to kill the monsters in them. You have three days to beat all of the temples and stop the moon from destroying clock town. You can play a song that alows you to go back in time and keep playing.

Yes this game is very challenging, and yes it's different than Ocarina of Time,but different is good!
