5-0 out of 5 stars Hardcore Unreal fan!
This game is excellent, it's too damn good and very adictive. (fast and quick thinking)
5-0 out of 5 stars The best X-Box game ever...
This game is the best game to ever come out on X-Box.It has great single player, Awesome multiplayer, and leaves Halo 2 behind in the dust, in the graphics department. There are a ton of playable characters, and they all have their own strengths and weaknesses. They also all have their own tournaments to compete in.
5-0 out of 5 stars Sweet gun-shooty sword-killy gaming goodness.
This game is perfect for those times when you have 10 or 15 minutes to play video games. I don't even have XBox live, but I find the bots are pretty good and the team deathmatch/capture the flag/etc. are pretty entertaining even offline. The combo of ranged weapons and the new melee attacks takes some time and skill to master, but it's very rewarding when you do so. The game is smooth and beautiful, and the acrobatic style of combat is quite a departure from the first Unreal Championship game. The only complaint I have is that the melee weapons seem to be much, much more powerful than the ranged weapons. I wonder if there is a setting somewhere in there where I can change that. At any rate this game is now $20 brand new or less used, and you should buy it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Really genious idea
The idea for a spy game was great, and the game itself was extremely fun, only, it locked a lot. It's not the easiest game, but I liked it a lot.

5-0 out of 5 stars Splinter Cell- An excellent game
You are in a darkened corner. You watch as a patrolman descends the stairs. You size him up, noticing his AK-47 is drawn. You quietly sneak up behind him, and when he stops walking, you grab him. You place your silenced pistol up to his forehead and drag him into a darkened corner. Another guard walks into the room. You quickly turn your pistol towards him, shoot, then turn back to your hostage. You quickly hit him in the back of the neck, knocking him out.
3-0 out of 5 stars Garbage
Typical Xbox game using checkpoints instead of creativity to make it challenging. Nothing more mind numbing than doing the same thing over and over again because you keep getting killed right before the next checkpoint. Granted, you can get hours and hours of playing time from it, but only about 25% is something that you haven't already done 10 times before. I highly recommend this game to people who are of the intellect that enjoy working on production lines where they do same thing repeatedly. If your brain actually requires some kind of stimulation, find a more creative game. In addition, some actions tend to be a bit uncooperative at times, such as when attempting to knock someone out but instead you just stand there waiting to get shot. Apparently if you aren't facing in just the perfect position when attempting smash his brains out, you stand there like a manakin hoping the guy two inches in front of you doesn't notice. Another option is to try and shoot him, but unless you get a head shot, expect to fire of gobs of rounds to take him out since you seem to be armed with what can only be a .22 short pistol. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Perfect Sky Fighting Game
Wow!This game is great!I could not believe the first time I put this game in my X Box and set it off.It truly is fantastic.I first noticed the wonderful soundtrack. The music continues on, and is not abrupt, when sinister things happen. It reminds me of the background music you hear during scary movies like "Psycho" etc, whenyou are watching the protagonist do something he or she is not supposed to be doing.
5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastically Fun both Single and Multi Player
This aerial combat game involves an alternate universe - it's sort of like the 1930s, but with a twist. You get a lot of planes, fighting and nice graphics. Usually when we play games to review, we play them through and then are done. This is one of the few games that we loved so much that we replayed it many times.
4-0 out of 5 stars Crimson Skies
Xbox owners, allow me to introduce you to the game that will make you forget all about MechAssault. Mech-what? MechAssault. You know, the first-party game that kicked Xbox Live multiplayer onto your radar. Yeah, that one. Well, now you have Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, the next Microsoft title that will turn your console online and your smack-talking into high gear.

5-0 out of 5 stars The greatest racing game on the market today
I'm a big video game player and have tried out racing games since the days of Sega Genesis, but this trumps them all as the best racing game I've ever played.
5-0 out of 5 stars Top Of The Heap. A#1 Racing game
This title is simply a Gem. A fun factory. At the price of $20 or below, buying this title is like getting away with armed robbery at a bank. Bizarre creations and Microsoft Game Studios took home the whole wedding cake with Project Gotham Racing 2. I found this game so good that I had to go back to the store to buy several more copies of it for select family members and colleagues that have a need for speed. If you get to play it online against other ADULTS, it might just hook you for at least a week and you might find yourself playing online as soon as getting home from work for a little while as I did. I still can't believe I did that. This game is not a simulation game, it's not a Gran Turismo killer, nor does it try to be; it's simply an addictive arcade racing game. With a decent TV and component cables, you can appreciate the great graphics this game has to offer. Hook it up to a surround sound system and you're THERE. The music is great too but you can load your own favorite tunes to listen to while you burn some rubber, lead the pack and [...] your pants. This is the only game ever, besides Need For Speed 3: Hot pursuit, that I can just turn on and let the music play like a radio. Specifically, the showroom music in PGR2, while I have a drink and take care of different things around the living room on Friday nites. If you have an Xbox and a need for speed that the law can't let you safisty in the real world, step into PGR2 and quench your thirst. This game is highly recommended.

2006: The U.S. installs a temporary military base on East Timor to train the developing defense force of the "world's youngest democracy." Resistance to the U.S. military presence in Southeast Asia is widespread and passionate, but the threat Indonesian militias pose to Timorese democracy is deemed sufficient justification. Anti-U.S. resentment comes to a head under the leadership of guerrilla militia leader Suhadi Sadono, acting with the unofficial support of major corrupt factions of the Indonesian government. Suhadi's men attack and occupy the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta, taking dozens of civilian and military personnel hostage.Read more

LOVED IT
5-0 out of 5 stars Stealth and Action to the Fullest
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow is one of those games that everyone is talking about and you have to try it out for yourself. It's a stealthy action game that really lives up to the high expectations.I liked the original Splinter Cell game, but I wasn't looking forward to the sequel very much. This was because I pretty much sucked at the original game, especially playing the multiplayer on xbox live. You have to have a pretty good understanding of the maps, the controls, and your surroundings. You also have to have some practice with the game before you can become good enough to play people over xbox live.I got my [...] kicked SO many times playing this game it's not even funny.Even with all my doubts at how bad I would be at this game, I couldn't resist picking up Pandora Tomorrow the first week it came out.
5-0 out of 5 stars Most Innovative Game Ever

this is a fun game if your inti the mechs the graphics are good but like the first halo game type the difficulty level are weak to easy to kill stuff but expert setting there only like7 mechs and then varients of those ones that just have differnet weapons loadout the multiplayer is good but not great

This was a top-notch game.I really enjoyed playing it.It was a well-designed, thoroughly enjoyable shooter. The good looking girl calling you "cowboy" all the time was a bit silly (especially since my wife was also playing the game at the same time I was).

5-0 out of 5 stars like it better than the pc version
i bought this game the very first week it came out, knowing nothing about it, and i love it. this game has average graphics, fast gameplay, and smooth easy to remember controls. it is not all that great on single player, but to bring out the up most fun in this game, you would need x box live. this is one of the best first person shooters today. just as good as halo, halo 2 in my opinion.
5-0 out of 5 stars BUY OR DIE
I could write a lengthly reveiw but I'll be breif. Short of halo 2, this is the best xbox live game out. BUY or DIE!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Classic, must-have for xbox!!!!
This game is unbelievable. It is, after over two years still one of the most popular games for xbox and when you play xbox live, you can always be sure to find players online. That is an example of how good this game is. Two years!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars All Hail GRIT
First and for most...BEST GAME EVER for xbox live play. This game was so good on SO many levels. The single player campaign was fun...not insanely great, but fun...."ghost recon fun." This is one of those games that is truly addicting and, in its day, got plenty of Xbox Live play. This game was actually the reason I signed up for an Xbox Live account, and without it, who knows what I'd be playing today.
4-0 out of 5 stars Trouble in Paradise
Island Thunder is an excellent release that should be considered if you're trying to hunt down some intense Ghost Recon action for your Xbox. With a mix of weapons and maps from three other games, Island Thunder delivers the variety missing from the original.
1-0 out of 5 stars Appaling...
I purchased this game to try out on my Xbox Live and I was almost angry at how dumb the game was. If you actually find somebody that plays this game online, it's still not any fun. I am not a follower of the Tom Clancy series (with the exception of Splinter Cell, Chaos Theory was awesome), and though I never tried the single player aspect, this game was a complete let-down. Do not waste your time and money on this game, I can't believe those people who rated this game higher than 2 stars... ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Wolfenstein Faithful Disappointed
Ok, I played Wolfenstein way back in the day and loved it.I was thrilled with the prospect of reliving the good old days on my XBox.
5-0 out of 5 stars This game rocks
I have played this game on my PC and bought it for Xbox. The PC version pales in comparison. The introduction in the game explains a lot more on Xbox than the PC version. Some sections will irritate you and take you a while to get out of. The graphics are amazing, the story line is beliveable. The story line I love because, most games don't have little movies or any at all. The weapon varity is excellent. Some weapons I used more than others. Hey, I don't want to give away a lot.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best First Person Shooter
This is the BEST first person shooter I have ever played.I cant stop playing it.The graphics are awsome and the sound is the best.I still can believe the story line, its great.Killing Hitlers Army, what more could you ask for.LOL.Besides the soldiers there are zombies/mummys and x-monsters which is a bonus for this game.I love playing it and it is so addictive.I cant stop playing it.I would recommend this game to anyone who loves first person shooters. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Action/Strategy minus the strategy
This game is extremely linear.
3-0 out of 5 stars Great Fun to Mess Around With, But Several Small Errors
Being a big fan of tactical games, Rainbow Six 3 was on my to-get list and just recently I picked up my copy.I had a blast with it and still play it despite the fact that I beat it several times. The weapons were veryy accurate in terms of practicality and functionality; I was very pleased that Ubi Soft actually got the technical information of the actual weapons and implimented them correctly instead of making a messed-up array of weapons like the RCP-90 in Golden Eye (Great weapon for a great game).
3-0 out of 5 stars Move, move, move... I said MOVE!!
I was a huge fan of rainbow six on the PC and was pretty excited about the console version. I expected it to be a bit more 'arcadey', but having also got Ghost Recon, also expected a similar level of realism and strategy. But all in all I have to say I was pretty disappointed. On the plus side, the game is really well presented, with some good missions, great graphics, and the sound is superb. But it's the gameplay where it fell down for me. For starters all you have is one group - consisting of 4 men, of which you are one, and can only play one - Ding Chavez. One of the best parts of Rainbow 6 on the PC (and indeed the Ghost Recon games on console) is the ability to send different units off to different areas, storm rooms at the same time from multiple angles and give eachother cover fire. With the console version there is none of this. You don't plot waypoints or anything like that, you literally issue orders on the fly. To be honest, that didn't really bother me too much. In fact I quite liked the added sense of on the spot realism this gave the game. You can issue a variety of commands, most of which can also be issued with a 'go' code, so you can do your thing, and then shout to code for them to execute their orders on demand.

5-0 out of 5 stars AA++
I bought this game for my daughter for her 13th birthday. The minute she opened it, she and five of her friends put it together immediately. This was the easiest birthday party I have ever hosted! They LOVED it! My daughter plays with it so often that she has 'aced' many of the songs at the beginner level and is now tackling some of the more difficult arrangements. But, not only does she enjoy this game, my 10 year old son, his friends, my husband, and even I use it often. This game is not only fun and challenging, but best of all, GREAT EXERCISE! We LOVE it!

4-0 out of 5 stars Next level shooter

5-0 out of 5 stars One of Xbox's best Shooters ever!!!
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon is an incredibly fun first person shooter. If you like military squad based games, this is definately for you.The graphics (when it came out) were pretty top-notch and had some extremely fun multiplayer gametypes.I actually didn't start playing this game until Island Thunder was already out (which I played like crazy!) and it still held up as a great game. The sounds in the game really made it seem realistic, like you were actually there on the battlefield.I mean, looking back at it today, the game doesn't hold up in terms of graphics and presentation, but the gameplay is still one the best shooters there has been.Everything worked in it, it wasn't that hard to pick up and play, and the fact that it actually played like a tactical shooter made it stand out from the rest.
3-0 out of 5 stars Ghost Recon

I got this for christmas along with my xbox =) I was so excited at first I loved it but then my interest faded I play splitscreen with my 7 year old sister sometimes its really fun.I like the game where you take those building build turrets and have soldiers 1 player is just ok got stuck on a hard level and can't beat it. Personaly I would buy battle front 1 and 2.

5-0 out of 5 stars Why do people Hate this game?! BECAUESE it ROCKS!!!!!!!!!
This game is awesome and if you type in LORD OF SITH as a cheat you get some cool stuff. If this was such a bad game then why did Xbox put it with it's system when you by it. Anyway this game was fun and also if you buy it with Battle Front (which in my opinion is the best star wars game for xbox) you get a great deal!

4-0 out of 5 stars YAY...YAY
This game was pretty darn good! Rainbow Six 3 Black Arrow is more than an expansion than a sequel, but with all the new maps and modes, it sure feels like one. The biggest and best thing about this game is its multiplayer aspect. There are like 24 maps to play along with a lot of different game modes. These modes consist of Sharpshooter, Terrorist Hunt, Mission, Survival, Team Survival, and two new modes, Total Conquest and Retrieval. All of these are each very fun, but the new ones are especially enjoyable. They all play very well on the new maps, and it seems that the new modes were planned very well according to the layout of those new maps. The maps are larger than previous Rainbow Six games, but they are all very nice and work well. The Retrieval mode is probably my favorite. It is pretty much one flag capture the flag, except instead of a flag there is a canister. Each time spawns on different ends of the map with the canister in the center. The whole point is to retrieve the canister and bring it to your drop area. When the time ends, whoever has the most scores wins. It is a really addicting game type, and along with Sharpshooter, it is probably my favorite.
4-0 out of 5 stars Tom Clancy. The next
All of the rainbow six games have great play and great multi player.Rainbow Six 3 is one of the best military shooters of all time if you don't compare it to ghost recon. Black Arrow's Xbox Live modes are pretty much as good as Rainbows (I won't go too far into detail). The maps I would say don't live up to what I was envisioning though. The graphics are better. If you like rainbow six you should buy this because it is great and cheap. The AI has been improved a little but could still use more improvement.
5-0 out of 5 stars Where did this come from...
I loved this game and there is nothing that was really even close to making it boring in any way. The graphics the AI. I especially love the team control it is so awesome you need to get it at such a nice price to. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best College Hoops Game of 2005
I have played all college hoops games of 2005 (March Madness, Final Four, and College Hoops). This one is, by far, the best.It is very realistic and I really like the controls.I also like the camera angle. This was just a really good game.
3-0 out of 5 stars Why does this game have to make up name
Yes I like this game but well you probably heared Gerry Mcnamara well on this game sometimes they say his name is john smith or josh little or somthing like that you will find this out when you go to practice mode or to the roster. They also change the rating around a little bit. I mean one time 3pt rating is 90 the next it 86 or something. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Just One Great Soccer Game
FIFA 2005 is the most fun sports game I have ever played. I have not met one person who has played the game sasy they didn't like it. The graphics are excellent, and the gameplay is great. The first-touch control makes the game awesome, and the different moves players can do add excitement, especially when you pull off a move and score a goal playing multiplayer. There have been several nights when me and my buddy staed up and played this game for 6 hours straight, and never got tired of it. This game has excellent replay value, simply because it is different every single time you play.
1-0 out of 5 stars quite possibly the worst footie game ever!
the gameplay is completely crazy on this!players like ronaldo battle to win possession of the ball, rather than just standing around eating a kebab waiting to be passed to like the real ronaldo.also, the career mode bears absolutely no resmblance to the real thing, here's what happensin the fifa 2005 universe.i managed celtic, who i'd stocked up with adriano, zambrotta, lampard, terry, gerrard, joaquin, buffon, shevchencko, and a few created players with overall ratings of 99%.ok, so you can stack the odds in your favour, but it won't help you.because after all mighty dunfermline athletic comes along and beats celtic 7-0 at home, even though the celtic team you've got has the best players there are, and gets the highest rating of any club. the first two seasons you do alright as manager, then, it all goes pear shaped, and my celtic club finished in 4th place (that's only happened 3 times in the last 100 years!!!!!)so, after finishing 4th the spl (inverness caledonian thistle won by the way, something that is inexplicable in it's own right.i decided to manage barcelona, withall the barca players there, and yet another top rated team, and i brought my created players from celtic.welli got relegated!!!!! granted i did simulate some of the matches, but how can barcelona win both games against sporting gijon the spanish league champions of that year (another bit of the absurd)?anyway.don't buy fifa 2005!it is a travesty, an insult to the beautiful game!everybody should buy pro-evolution as that actually plays well, although the players aren't as realistic looking as on fifa.maybe though, if everybody stops buying fifa, and starts buying pro-evolution we'll get all the good bits about fifa such as being associated with pretty much every club there is (i.e. manchester united rather than man reds). all in all a huge dissappointment, i'll never buy a fifa game again.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great Graphics...So So Gameplay
I would give this game a 3.5 really. The presentation for this game is great. It looks good from the moment you put it into the xbox and while you are playing. They greatly improved the interface from the previous year. The in game graphics are exceptional. And music tracks are perfect with different music from around the world. The create a player option is very good and you can go into great detail with your player. The real problem that I have is the gameplay itself and that is where FIFA loses points. When playing against another person the problems aren't as apparent, but against a computer its completely obvious. You can't switch directly to the player that you need and many times the computer will switch to a player that is not the closest or best position against the ball.Which is a problem that was in the previous years game. Also when passing to a player the receiving player will not go to the ball, allowing the defender to just step in front and take it away. And again in this game the Right Analog stick is for moves, which in most cases are useless and usually cause you to lose the ball or go in the opposite direction than you intend. Also the different teams do not have any difference in their attacking patterns. All they do is pass around and attack from the wings with a cross. And the passes are almost impossible to defend against since the computer passes almost perfect every time. And the controls for defending are very bad.And in many situations it doesn't seem that you have any control at all over defenders. The online play though does help make this a better game than the previous year.Because many of the problems go away when playing against a person.

I would love to be able to write a review about playing the game, but becouse Capcom does not state on the box that you can only play their game if you buy a special controler I have no clue what the game is like. Not only that but I can not even find the controler to buy(or how much for it).I do not like to bad mouth some ones product, but when I pay $45.00 for a game I would like to be able to play it. I just thought you might want to know about the controler befor Capcom suckers you into spending more money just to play thier game

2-0 out of 5 stars Does NOT work.
This game is the victim of extremely poor netcode. There is a 20% chance of getting into a 2v2 game in Free Mode, and close to 0% in Campaign mode.It is supposed to support 5v5, but no one in the US has been able to come close to that.My connection is a 2mb DL/512k UL.5-0 out of 5 stars This is going to be one of the most epic games ever
Last Christmas I took the plunge into getting Steel Battalion. To this day, I play it at least 5 times a week, the game is so incredibly awesome. Now with Line of Contact coming very soon, its going to take this game to the next epic level. With Xbox Live (yes its online!) five on five teams can battle it out in deathmatches, capture the flag and more game modes to be shown later. New VT's (vertical tanks, that's what you pliot in the game) new weapons, new mission & enviroments. If you are a dir hard Mech fan, this game will have you pissing in your pants. When played on a 48' HDTV w/ surround sound, this is one of the best game experiences ever. My respect for the Xbox has been won over with this game, not even Halo could warm me up to this system. But in order to enjoy this game, you MUST have the 40 button, 3 foot pedel controller with is included with the origianal game. So, if you are feeling up to the steep challenge (and price) you will have the time of your gaming life with this game. ... Read more
