5-0 out of 5 stars Fun Game For Trek Fans!
For the price, it is definitely worth getting. I'm a fan of Enterprise, so I wish they had more than three levels of it. It is really cool to see all of the ships we have grown to love in Trek appear on screen, especially to see the NX-01 make its video game debut! The game can also be challenging, which is good that it is not too easy. The controls are excellent. The flying controls are so smooth; it really does feel like the ship is flying. Shatner lends his voice at the beginnings of each level, which is pretty cool. Sadly, you can't skip the story if you lose which becomes just a little annoying if you lose a lot. Overall, this is definitely worth having if you have a PS2. For the price, it is really amazing and I'm really looking forward to Star Trek: Legacy on X-Box 360!

5-0 out of 5 stars star trek encounters
Good game. Fun. Although I am stuck already trying to follow Zindi warp trails.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent star trek game
I wasn't sure about this game, but after playing and beating it, i'm glad i bought it. You start from the enterprise era, and work your way through the show, and at the very end you play the sovereign era. For 2 player, you can do head to head, battlefest, which you select 3 ships from a pre-arranged group and select the enemies ships, then battle it out through all three ships. You can also do an onslaught where you face off against all the ships in the game in increasing waves. For arenas, it was very colorful, and had a wide variety of planets and nebulas. The ship combat was very well designed, you can play a huge variety of federation, klingon, romulan, xindi, dominion, cardassian, and even borg ships in two player. The narration by william shatner (captain kirk) was a nice bonus to the gameplay. All together, it was a very well put together game, and even though it was a arcade style shoot em' up, it gave a nice storyline with a great finsish at the last mission. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars An Immense Improvement
The promising thing about this series is that each installment is significantly better than the last. Not only that, but the Soul Calibur franchise has made a big influence on other contemporary fighting-genre games. For one, Namco's choice of deciding to produce SCIII on PlayStation 2 alone (instead of having to design it similiarly for Xbox and Gamecube) allowed them to fully make use of the PS2's capabilities. The first obvious change is the graphics; Soul Calibur II's graphics almost look childish in comparison to the more detailed and realistic style of SCIII. As in most fighting games, the main Story mode allows you to choose a character and fight various battles until you come to the final boss. However, the difference with this game is that (before each fight) you are given a synopsis of your character's journey thus far and why you have to fight your next opponent. This is a big change from a lot of fighting games, where you usually just take on one opponent after another, with no real explanation as to why you'd even be fighting them in the first place. Not only is the storyline aspect heightened, but you are also given different paths to take after battles; your choices will affect who you'll have to fight next. There are 25+ characters to choose from and each one has their own unique story.
5-0 out of 5 stars this game rocks
this game is just loads of fun espcially in a tournament scenario with a bunch of friends, and has a great single player mode overall a really fun game

4-0 out of 5 stars Not just kicks
When I first saw this game, I thought it was the same thing as Tekken and Mortal Combat. It does have this mode (versus mode) but it also has other things as well. My two boys enjoy the fact that they can create and arm characters. You choose what type of character you want to create, be it a male or female character, and then add all the attire (armor, helmets, weapons, etc.) You can even choose the voice, the hair color and the eye colors for the character, and the colors of their attire, which my sons have found fun to do. Aside from that, there is a mode where you have different quests, and they can send their newly created character on that quest, to conquer the enemy strongholds. For a teenage audience, who like the "fights" games, this I have found to be more interesting than others I've seen. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Classic Rockstar and A Nice Tribute to The Movie
I remember when The Warriors video game was announced, I was literally counting the days to its release.I grew up in the 80's and "The Warriors" was one of those movies that would appear on "The Movie Channel" on a fairly regular basis. To this day, I can still recite some of the movie's more famous lines. The movie was pure escapism, especially for young suburban teens.

5-0 out of 5 stars Large-scale improvements and a more mature vibe represent Jak's coming-of-age
I didn't care all that much for the original Jak and Daxter. Let's just get that out of the way right now. I found it was too short, the gameplay too straightforward and repetitive, the characters too sticky-sweet and friendly, and the visuals completely lacking for a first wave next-gen title. Where it did shine was in the gameplay, although even that had a few hiccups, and in the occasional character and level designs. It was, generally, a really fun game to play, but you had to be willing to ignore a few bugs and completely shut your brain off during the storytelling sequences, which were yanked right out of a Saturday morning cartoon show. I felt like I was playing something marketed toward seven year olds, and that worked to put me off of the package as a whole.
1-0 out of 5 stars One of the best games on the market.
This is one hell of a game. For some reason, after the original Jak and Daxter game was released, all the hype for the sequels seemed to die down. This makes no sense because Jak II and III are leaps and bounds above Jak and Daxter. In Jak II, Naughty Dog takes the adventure element we love so much and adds to it an arsenal of truly kick-ass weapons. Throw in a GTA-stlye ability to hijack any vehicle you see, and a free-roaming aspect and you have one of the best games ever. Its loads of fun to steal a gunship out from under the Crimson Guard (the city police) and fly through the extensive city environment, blowing the living crap out of everything (and everyone) in sight. The controls are top-notch, allowing you to jump in the air, kick a guard in the face, dive down on another one, fists first and then drive a three-shot-burst from your rifle into his chest. Possibly the only bad thing about Jak is that he moves slower than Fat Albert dipped in cement waist-high in pea soup. Luckily, there seems to be a surplus of vehicles in Haven City that you can steal, er, borrow to outrun your enemies. Another feature that makes this game worth buying is the remarkable storyline. The cutscenes (all 60+ minutes of them) feel more like a Spielberg movie than in-game cinematics. You actually feel a connection with the characters as the story advances and the plot thickens. As I mentioned before, there are over an hour of cutscenes throughout the game, so you know that this is not one of those games you dish out 50 bucks for and breeze through in an afternoon. I rented this game for 10 days and only got about 75% through the story. This is a challenging, engaging, and very long game. There's enough variety to ensure that it does not become repetitive and the developers have done a great job with racing, shooting, protecting, and the like. Hands-down the best installment of the Jak series and in my opinion, the best action-adventure game on the market today. Buy it! It's well worth the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very hard, but very fun
Ok, I get sick of the pantywaists crying about how hard this game is and how frustrated they're getting and blah blah blah. Yes, it is a difficult game. It will take time (probably alot of time) to beat it. I've had the thing for a year and I finally just got around to completing it! But I can't think of a game I have ever played and beaten that didn't have its difficult and frustrating parts. All games are like that.

4-0 out of 5 stars Im new to this but I was disgusted by the lack of matches for women.
When I first found Smackdown vs Raw 2004 at Walmart, I got it and made tons of female wrestlers and I used them in TLC matches and the cage match and some of the others. But women are not available in most of the matches. I saw the scenes on Lucifer's Custom, and thought I could do the barroom and back stage with women but I was upset to find out that women are only available in a few matches. I am on my third game now, I got mad at it first cause the custom character mode was slow. The second time was cause of my characters were computer controlled when I chose for it to be manual. Thus concludes my lousy review.

5-0 out of 5 stars Quality time for having fun is my option!
Anyone who think Smackdown vs Raw 1 was so called good, this game is 10,000xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx times better than part 1 eventually cause many reasons why it is. Because unlike part 1, this has balance good longer season, title bouts, new good matches, more characters, & futhermore really damn good gameplay unlike part 1's gameplay which was down right bad & awful.
5-0 out of 5 stars Smackdown vs Raw 2006
What I like about the game is you get to fight people in the game. You also can fight people in title matches. My suggestion for the game is that it would make the game so much better if you could fight in the crowd. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Not that great
The game is fun only when you play exhibition mode. The actual game is way too hard unless you are super experienced in this type of game.I am not so I have a REALLY hard time beating the easiest teams. You can try to score up to 50 times before actually getting it in the goal.If you buy this game you may also have alot of frustrating moments.for example:I was using Argentina and I was going against South Korea.I kept trying to get the ball in the goal over and over again but it always missed. On the other hand South Korea Tried to get a goal two times and got them both. The game has a very real feel that is fun for a while but gets very annoying.I would say only get this game is you buy a lot of soccer games. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Well Designed Fighting Game
Dragon Ball Z - Budokai 3 follows in the footsteps of games 1 and 2. Part fighting game, part story mode RPG, you get to fully involve yourself in the Dragon Ball Z universe.
5-0 out of 5 stars Best of Budokai
I got this game just about a week ago, and it was so awsome! I have a tip: to unlock #16, first beat Krillin's Dragon Universe Mode once. Then do it again, and at one point in the Namek saga there'll be 2 red dots on your map. Go to the one to the right and you'll have a conversation with Captain Ginyu/Frog. Proceed through Story Mode as usual. After the Namek saga, you'll discover that you can now play the Android saga! Go to Earth's southernmost chain of islands until you find the plains. Go there and you'll have a conversation with Trunks and #16. Fly to west city and you'll speak with Bulma. After the speech is over, you get #16! I don't see anything wrong with this game, except this: I CAN'T USE ANY SKILLS! I SET THEM IN MY TRAY BUT I CAN'T USE THEM! WHY!? WHY!? Overall, this is a very good game. I'm glad to be able to do something than fight all the time, flying around in Dragon Universe is fun!

4-0 out of 5 stars Best of the Budokai series.
I think that Budokai 3 is by far the best game in the budokai series for PS2. The one-player story mode is excellent. After being subjected to B2's horrid board-game-style story mode, B3's was a refreshing improvement. I liked the fact that you're able to freely fly around the overworld map and search for dragonballs, capsules, and fights. The events are different depending on where you are and who you are playing, staying very true to the series. Furthermore, B3 has added a really great leveling-up system which allows you to customize your characters as you fight and gain experience. This keeps the game interesting and replayable.

This is an awesome game!Don't let the rating worry you,it's more like E+10(Everyone 10 and up),THAN IT IS T(Thirteen and up).I played this game when I was 11!Anyhow,it's like a Adventure/Shooting game.So if you like Adventure games and shooting games, then you'll like this game!Any it's only $20!So this is a great game to get for your PS2(Playstation2).As you go deeper into the game,it does get hard, but keep on trying! You'll have lots of fun playing it!
5-0 out of 5 stars old but great
This game is one of the best games in my collection. Its fun and easy to learn, the controls are simple, there is a wide eray of weapons one of them being a gun that turns guys into chickens:).Another thing I like about this game is that you can play it over and over again i have had my ps2 for three or four years and this wasthe first game we got, every year or so ill dig it out of my collection of games and beat it a couple times. It's a great game for younger gamers its not that hard to understand and most of the puzzles are easy enough. I have'nt tried any of the other ratchet and clank games. I just never got around to it because this game had such a high replay value. Trust me if you are looking for a good cheap platform game this is the one.

4-0 out of 5 stars Stop Whining
This is the first Tiger woods game I have bought. When I looked the game up to see the reviews on it after I bought it I was shocked at the low score it had. I think the game is awesome!! I was looking for a game that was fun but also realistic. This is both. I must warn that it does take a round or two to get used to the controls but I figured it out without even looking at the instructions.
4-0 out of 5 stars Come on you dorks, it's not that bad.
I've read the upheaval from other reviewers, and I'm here to say that I actually really like this game. After seeing some friends playing '05 at school, I decided to try out '06.If you've never played any other Tiger Woods games, then all the negative comments by other people don't apply to you.
1-0 out of 5 stars Tiger Woods, ...what happened? The worst game ever
I would like to start by saying that I have all of the Tiger Woods golf games that exist for the PS2. However, I would like to give this one back. I really have no idea why EA felt they needed to completely overhaul the game. Tiger Woods 05 was outstanding! It could have used a few extras like more customization of the create a course option. Something like adding your own waterways, sand traps, etc. instead of just picking existing holes from the courses that already exist. Anyway, the new putting feature is the worst!!! It isn't just because it is more difficult. It is no longer any fun. Being challenging is one thing, but being absolutely ridiculous is another. Why not leave the old putting option and let the gamer choose between the two in the game settings? The bottom line is that all of the Tiger Woods golf games have been outstanding up until this point. However, this is the last one I will ever purchase unless changes are made. Bring back the old putting options. And for those of you who want the game more realistic than fun, stick with the real game of golf and leave the electronic version of it to those of us who enjoy a fun and entertaining game. Not one so difficult that it never gets played. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars An enjoyable war game
I don't like killing my own Germanic or European people but hey it's WWII everybodies whacked out from 2coined politics what do expect. The action is excellent and so are the missions.Sometimes it gets a little redundant that's why I didn't give it 5 stars. It would be a lot more interesting if they made a game or some of these historical missions for European missions.
5-0 out of 5 stars BUYIT!!!
The most awsome world war 2 shooter that I'v ever seen!!!!!!! There is nothing wrong about this game to me!!!!!! 5 star AN EXCELLENT GAME!!!! Well done activision!!!!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars By no means a bad game but just doesn't quite deliver
WW2 shooters never be in short supply and every year more WW2 styled games are released. A couple years agoCall of Duty Finest Hour was released for current systems and it wasn't very good. In 2005 the follow up to Finest Hour was released, Big Red One. This game sports somewhat impressive graphics and manages to assemble a solid atmosphere. But the game really is nothing more than that. It is a fps and the gameplay is pretty standard and the nazis are generally none too intelligent. The game is still pretty solid fun that has it's moments but never really exceeds expectations as a standard WW2 fps shooter. Call of duty 3 is being released on current gen systems and so far it looks like some good improvements are being made but I would question how much effort is going to be put into the PS2 and X-box versian. Anyway Big Red One is a fun rental but really nothing more.

5-0 out of 5 stars coooooooooollllllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best thing i have played in my life (so fare) i rented the game and almost made it to the end and boy it is long. Third best was UPA (up you arsenal). I looking forward to the new ratchet and clank on the ps3. The reason i didn't beat going comando is because of stuff like gliches. All in all it's the best game you will rent or buy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Really Good Game
Ratchet and Clank:GC is one of the most greatest games I've ever played. I love the characters, the planet, soundtrack and storyline. I love the replay value on this too and the guns you get.I recommend this game for anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Not in the soul of Ratchet and Clank, but still a wonderful experience
I loved Ratchet and Clank, the first game, with its lush and de-

5-0 out of 5 stars Wall cawling ,Web slinging action! Buy it!
I am [...] and I am a spidey fan since 2002.I got this game at early 2003 and to this day I'm still playing it. After the piece of crud of the Animated series ( which debued in '92) Spider-Man has been reborn. If your a fan like me than buy this game, true beliver

2-0 out of 5 stars A Re-Packaged Effort
I don't know how helpful this review is, but I really have to say this is a cheap re-packing from Activision. They released "Spiderman" for Playstation 1 a little while back.I played that, really enjoyed it, and had a good time.So I naturally bought Spiderman on PS2 (its release coinciding with the movie).
3-0 out of 5 stars Depends....
I want to say this game is good, but unrealistic but i cant. first of all what does your web catch on to? sky? and (it might just be my TV) you cant see everything its so dark at some places. When you get stuck on somthing its really REALLY boring. I couldnt take this game over a week before i ditched it. I didn't even find fighting enemies with HUGE heads to fun. But when your the Green Goblin with a machine gun razor blades that freaking kill EVERYTHING it gets kinda fun i admit. I cant say its HORRIBLE but i cant say its good... If you get bored when your stuck get away from this game!!! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars BORING!!!
Ive never been a big fan of dynasty warriors. But this game is just bad. First off on easy mode you can defat an entire army by yourself. This is because the enemys never attack. once i ran into the center of a group of enemys and i stood still. I didn't get attacked for ten minutes. Also all of the soldgers look identical. there are about three enemys that dont look the same.and there are only 4 hard fights in the entire game. Also THIS GAME IS REPETTATIVE. you have 6 attacks per character but they all do the exact same thing. And one hit kills petty much all enemys. Now this game is long but so what. If you have a huge pile of garbage, is it really any better then a small pile of garbage. and either way it is still garbage. just like this game.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun, but Love/Hate continues
Now I'm probably one of maybe 200 people on the continent that has actually read the entire unabridged "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" by Luo Guanzhong, Dynasty Warriors really messes up some of the history and the characters and yet I own 5 of the games. Why? Because they are fun as hell and they got most of it right, right enough anyways.
4-0 out of 5 stars Yea its a lil different. But its the BEST in the series
I'ma keep this real simple. Dynasty Warriors 5 is better than the rest. YES, if you've played 4 than you'll notce some changes. I suggest you accept them {u may even come to like alot of them} that way you can actually enjoy the game for what it is.

3-0 out of 5 stars Wears Out Its Welcome
Spider-Man 2 is probably a lot better than most superhero movie video games, but overall it's a blast at first that quickly becomes tiresome.Swinging around Manhattan and being able to crawl up the Empire State Building (and jump if you so choose) is fun and battling random crimes, racing around the city, delivering pizzas, and (my favorite) catching runaway balloons for children is amusing...for a little while.Soon it becomes routine.
3-0 out of 5 stars Not that great.
Although, very fun, it has many flaws. At first it seems to be great, but about halfway through glitches pop up everywhere (my disc has no scratches on it)! And why couldn't Actvision make the mouths move? But, worst of all, the fire graphics are horrible! It is still fun exploring New York though.

4-0 out of 5 stars The best Spider-Man game of all time
Not all movie based and licensed games have to be completely average or just plain bad.Spider-Man 2 isn't just the best Spider-Man game of all time, it's possibly the best super hero game of all time as well.Stepping above and beyond the first game, Spider-Man 2 allows you to take on the role of the web-slinger as you swing and fight your way through a completely free roaming New York City. And when I say free roaming, I mean free roaming. For the first time ever in a Spider-Man game, you can touch down on the ground and interact with pedestrians and accomplish missions to earn points to build up your stats and abilities.Along the way, you'll take on villains such as the Rhino and Mysterio, and of course Doctor Octopus, and film stars Tobey Maguire, Kirstin Dunst, and Alfred Molina reprise their roles from the film (and the great Bruce Campbell is back as well as your helpful guide throughout the game). The voice acting is great, the graphics are pretty good while your swinging (once you hit the ground running some of the other character models become a bit blocky), but the biggest downside of Spider-Man 2 is that the missions get repetitive after a while.Mostly it's rescue him/her, beat up group of people that's jumping you, stop robbery, help out cops, etc, etc., but you can't argue with the overall package.Between the Spidey games and the X-Men Legends games (don't get me started on the X-Men 3 game though), Activision knows how to do licensed super hero games, and Spider-Man 2 remains the best Spidey game of all time. All in all, if you've never taken the game for a spin, what are you waiting for? ... 2-0 out of 5 stars "It's over already?"
I'm going to keep this short because the game doesn't deserve a review longer than the actual game play.great idea, tons of fun, addictive, and SHORT.my only complaint, just when i was digging the game, i beat it.alittle disappointing, definitely worth $20, just make sure you have something else to do after you beat it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not nearly as bad as everyone says it is...
I am scratching my head as to why everyone thinks that Gun is such a terrible game. I bought it a few weeks ago at a reduced price, and I really enjoy the game. The graphics are quite nice, the voice acting is really good, and the gameplay itself is entertaining. I really enjoy the open Western environment in the game.
4-0 out of 5 stars With "Gun," it's a love-hate form of relationship
It's obvious, "Gun" isn't for everyone; I really enjoyed it, as did a friend of mine, but I've read many reviews (both on this website as well as elsewhere) with thoughts that have been quite unlike my own. I've read that gamers thought the controls were too sinewy, or that the storyline wasn't interesting enough, or even that the "Western" genus alone isn't worth a game being made about it . . . and personally, I think that's entirely untrue.

5-0 out of 5 stars Almost as good as the movie
This game is one of best games I've ever played. And it could be alittle disgusting because in the game you have to collect eyeballs. I felt like throwing up when I collect one. Anyway, you can also play as a team of four like Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, Puss'N Boots , Gingi, and a new player called Lil'Red. And help them battle various enemies like villagers, pumpkins, knights. Don't rent it it'll be better if you buy it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great game!!
this games is just great, i found funny to play everything in it almost like in the game, the controls are very easy, the graphics are quite nice, and the music too. great choice.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun, but you have to be mean to animals.
This is a fun little game, but it should be longer.

the game is fun but it gets a bit repetive and vilot levels are super dumb

5-0 out of 5 stars Kid mastermind
This game took my 9 year old son 2 days to complete. It was a disappointment since I paid $30 for it,but the action adventure games make younger kids to make wiser decisions. Overall this game deserves an A+. Not an adult type game but fun for kids. ... Read more
