2-0 out of 5 stars You can't go home again.
I played the original Firepro Wrestling on the Sega Saturn. It was released in Japan only and I needed a translation in English to do anything. My friends and I played this game over and over. In fact we still, to this day, say CRITICAL! Which is one of the few English words we could understand. When your wrestler was totally defeated he would be CRITICALed. The wrestler creation capabilities were and still are the very best offering from any wrestling game. It was 2 dimensional then and is still 2d on the GBA. If you are like me and don't care about graphics you may still enjoy this game. I bought it on Amazon and played it for about 3 minutes before checking out the wrestler creation. I was shocked to find the format had changed, but the tools for creation are still the same as they ever were. However my gaming tastes have changed a lot since 1999, and 2 dimensional graphics are just too hard to go back to. I can acknowledge the greatness of this game without actually enjoying it, but if it didn't cost me only 5 bucks I would be wrighting a way worse review. If you still pick up Mario Bros. now and again or if you run out to by every new Namco or Midway or Capcom "Classics" game. You may enjoy this game way more than I do now. You might actually get as much enjoyment out of it as my friends and I did 6-7 years ago. If you are either under 26 years old or are currently playing X-Box 360 or X-Box Live games like Halo2, steer clear of this one. 1999 rating 8.5 out of 10. 2006 3.3 out of 10.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fire Pro Wrestling is awesome.
This is a great wrestling game. The best for the GBA next to the second version. You have to rename all of the wrestlers you know. This is to protect the copyright issues. A few of the hints to rename a)the nicknames chosen b)the names chosen and c) the finishers chosen.

2-0 out of 5 stars Rampage good, Paperboy Bad
This was the first game I purchased for my GBA SP.I was pleased with Rampage.Just like the Nintendo version.Paperboy, they made it almost impossible to control the paperboy. The d-pad for driving and a/b for throwing the papers was the best way this game was played.Having to press A to accelerate and B to slow down and the L and R buttons at the top corners to throw papers while steering with the d-pad makes you tire of the game very quickly.
1-0 out of 5 stars Decent ONLY for Rampage
Buy only if you like Rampage, because Paperboy doesn't work.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not That Good...
This game isn't good. Its not even decent. If your to lazy to read my review below just read this: if your thinking about getting this game DONT. Instead get Super Mario, Street Fighter, Tony Hawk American Sk8land, Need For Speed Underground 2, or any other game besides this.
1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible
At first glance, Van Helsing for the GBA looks like a solid platformer using an isometric view instead of the tried 2-D side scroller fare that is so apparant in licensed GBA games.A lot could have been done so right with Van Helsing, but this game is absolutely horrible.Featuring clunky controls, fuzzy graphics, almost non-existant difficulty, and a horde of glitches and bugs, this is one of the worst games to hit the GBA in recent memory. All in all, if you are a fan of the film and had interest in checking this game out, don't fall for it, leave this on the shelf where it belongs.

4-0 out of 5 stars Hot,hot ,HOT!
I really like these episodes. Before I got this(it was the first GBA thing I got for my S.P!),I never saw the episodes.BOY,was I missing out!The episodes are from Pokemon:Master Quest (a season from Jhoto),but it has a Pokemon from Hoenn region. The episodes contain Jhoto Photo Finish, where Ash Ketchum battles Harrison, from Hoenn.I would tell you his Pokemon, but you can just find that out! Then when both players have 3 pokemon left, they have a break! That gives Harrison some time to think! Then in episode Playing With Fire,Ash's Charizard faces off against Harrison's Blaziken,ONLY found in Hoenn! This is a must-have for all pokemon fans!

4-0 out of 5 stars This Game
I really liked this game because it's pretty good for something on a gameboy. It was a little slow and bumpy and the sound I couldn't always hear, but overall I liked it. I hope you found this helpful!

1-0 out of 5 stars Warning: "Lens" is a sticker & will damage your screen!
A total crock, don't throw your money away.Since I'm paranoid about scratches or dust getting under the screen of my gba I thought screen protectors were a brilliant idea.Stupidly I imagined it would be some sort of plastic face plate that would clamp on somehow. When I realized it was nothing but a clear sticker I knew I'd been scammed, but I was still hoping to find some value in it.Idiotically I attached it to the screen. In the process the sticker took a scratch and that, combined with the dust on the sticker, made my screen look like exactly what I was trying to protect it from.I then became frantic trying to get it back off without hurting the actual screen. The back of the box, hysterically, actually recommends using a sharp utensil.Thankfully I had a friend with me who thought of using some strong adhesive tape to get the sticker off without harming the screen. If you end up in this situation, attach the tape to the sticker and then peel back.Good luck.Buyer beware.

1-0 out of 5 stars You have been warned - Damages Screen
Let me start of by saying, these things glue directly to your GBA screen. If that doesn't send up a warning flag right away, it should.Once attached, they are nearly impossible to remove, and leave behind a sticky residue that basically ruins the screen quality. There's pretty much nothing positive that can be said about these things.

4-0 out of 5 stars it's not so BAD
this screen protectors aren't so bad , but why after putting it on your screen , you would want to take it off?? i mean that's insane , tha only bad thing about thisit collects a bit of dust on your screen , and you can't really see what you're playing in day , but at night it's good ,i have had mine for almost a year now and it hasn't come off,but people don't throw away your sp , rub it with alcahol , and the goo will come off. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Deja Vu
After being burned by Bicycle Casino on Xbox, I was surprised when I saw that a new casino game had been released for the Game Boy Advance. After the slightly disappointing GBA version of Caesar's Palace, I was hoping Golden Nugget Casino would fill the void of a good portable gambling game.I guess I should have been skeptical when I saw Majesco's name on the box. They were the ones that distributed Caesar's Palace.Imagine my surprise when I popped the cartridge in and saw a menu screen that was eerily reminiscent of Caesar's.I decided to give craps a try first. My name came up on the screen with little stars surrounding it.The table looked very familiar.Wait a minute... this IS Caesar's Palace... just with a new name on the table.

5-0 out of 5 stars Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue......
Considering how I've been spending alot of my free time playing platformers; like the newer Spyro games and Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, I was a bit surpised to see Ty the Tasmanian Tiger for the the Gameboy Advance. I've played the Ty games on the console systems and love them. Yet, I'll admit- I was a bit skeptical that Ty would translate well onto the GBA. Much like the way I felt with the GBA Crash Bandicoot games. Yet, out of curiosity; I got Bush Rescue(as well as Night of the Quinkan, look for my review on that game as well). And, like the GBA Crash Bandicoot games, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Ty translated brilliantly onto the handheld. The story tells that Boss Cass was sent off to jail but rescued by a rival group of lizards. It's your mission to once again stop the evil Boss Cass and his menacing Uber Reptiles from destroying the world. For the most part, Bush Rescue adheres strictly to the console versions' story as told through stills taken directly from the console versions of the game. However, when you talk with characters in the game, you'll see the text appear with hand-drawn character models unique to this version. What impresses me the most with this game is how the character models are pre-rendered 3D characters reminiscent of the console versions and look really impressive. Animation is perfect as well...for example,if you see Ty running, his hair will wave while he runs about. Gameplay in Bush Rescue is pretty standard platform play but definitely worth sinking a little bit of time into. You can dispose of enemies with Ty's handy boomerangs, which can be upgraded as you progress through the game. You'll be able to take control of many mechs which give you the ability to blast things away and you'll also take control of many air and land vehicles as well. Levels (which are transplanted from the console versions) are large which means lots of exploring.
5-0 out of 5 stars Ty 2
*This is my first encounter with Ty the Tasmanian Tiger games, and I say this game is great! The sound is really good and the graphics are pretty good. Some parts get frustrating and you just want to turn it off, but when you try one more time, you unlock new levels or discover a new hidden tunnel to opals. Why, does Ty have to get liscenses to use bunnyips? That sucks!Well, to all you new Ty fans, definitely give Ty 2 a chance!!*

5-0 out of 5 stars This game will be ausome!!!!!
If you have Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 1 you know what I'm talking about. Number two will be out of this world!!! I can't wait 'till this comes out.I hope it's better than the first.P.S.All the TTT fans, buy this game!!!(TTT= Ty the Tasmanian Tiger) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Robopon rocks!
If you happen to be six to twelve years old, and have either a Game Boy Advance SP or a Gamecube, you've probably played Pokemon. If you haven't...well, you have no idea what you're missing.

4-0 out of 5 stars A good game.
This game is just like cross version. Despite popular rumors you don't actually build your robots. You customize them with different colors, body designs, and weapons. I have both of these 2 versions and I personally like Cross better. The atributes of the robopon are more complicated than Pokemon types. If you like RPGs and customize-your-team games this is for you!! I don't recommend this for young gamers, it has too many possabilities and is a little hard to understand. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars not what i excpected
I thought this game was going to be goodbut not to me the graphics are horrible and it is just plain BORING!!!!!!!!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars An RPG for a three hour road trip...
Shaman King- Legacy of SPirits is a decent RPG with simple gameplay, and few hard moments. The 'catch 'em all' Pokemon type thing often gets annoying, and the only hard parts are Anna's concentration training.

3-0 out of 5 stars Fun but short
Overall Shaman King legacy of spirits is a good game, the only drawback is that it is way to short. It took me only 4 hours to beat the game and you don't even level up that much, not only that, but at the end of the game there are still spirits you can not create by combination. Really it's a fun game, but it is way to short to buy, I would suggest renting it if you can or borrowing it from a friend. ... Read more
