Best RPG Ever
I had forgotten how much I love this game!!With the impending release of the Nintendo Wii & Twilight Princess (Yes, I am one of the lucky ones with a confirmed pre-order for the system) I decided to do a re-play of the Master Quest edition of this game for the Nintendo Gamecube (for those of you who don't have the Master Quest edition it came as a free promo if you had pre-reserved Zelda:Wind Waker).Anyway, I am almost done with the re-play of the game (still missing a couple of those Gold Skultullas) and the gameplay, puzzles, graphics, are just as wonderful as I remembered.If you haven't played this game you owe it to yourself you will not be disappointed.

ZELDA OCARNIA OF TIME: BEST GAME EVER
I have loved this game since I first played it. It took me quitw awhile to finish the whole thing, many games today, you pass in 10,5, sometimes even 1 day. This game took me almost a year of hardcore playing day through night. The eerie music, and fantastical characters bring you you a world, you only dream of. Best game ever!
This was released in 96 and I can still remember the first time I played this game.This was one of the first games to trully be 3D. The levels are great the sound is amazing. I dont think even to this day that there has been another video game that has totally captavated me like this game....................BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fun, but sloppy controls make it hard.
The game is fun, but simple tasks can be very hard thanks to the sloppy controls. If you die, you start the level all over again. I spent three hours Trying to collect the 8 red coins of cool. cool. Mountain. The sloppy controls kept me sliding of mountains, causing me to start all over. I don't recomend it for younger children unless they dont mind messing around in the first few levels.

Best N64 game, 'nuff said.
Super Mario 64 was the first Mario game to feature 3D graphics, some loved it, some thought it wasnt too great. I am in the first group, proudly! This game is unexplainable, it's amazing how much emotion and wonder and awe it brings whenever I play it, no matter how old I am. I first got this game when in 1998, for Christmas. I was 6 at the time, and I remember all the emotions I felt playing the game. I was so excited when I first turned it on, i skipped all the beginning text and went right to battling baddies. Since i had played mario games before on my dad's NES, I knew what the storyline was (defeat bowser) and basic moves like jump, stomp goombas, etc. I remember being so scared of the man eating piano, and being fascinated by the huge first world, and the excitment of first finding the Princess's secret slide! I have been playing the game again lateley, and I can only appreciate it even more. I now understand the WHOLE story, and can perform the mre complicated moves with ease. It takes me less time to get thru the game, but the level of fun is the same (even if i'm nt scared of the piano ;) ... Read more

which game is this???
Can anyone tell me if this is the Mario games that has them racing ona beach, in a ice castle(or something), a dirt track and other places?

Fantastic multiplayer game
I'm 15 and have been playing this game since I was 9 and it's still fun.I just recently brought it out again and it really brings back emories form playign it at my cousins or at my nieghbors house.The multipler racing and battle never gets old and mabye after a while 1 player gets old but thats why u got friends so this is definetly a must have for the N64.

i;m not that big on racing games, but this one just blew me away! at first... but then it got very easy very fast! and you need at least 2 N64 controllers to have fun. this game is a lot better with 2-4 players, otherwise, it can just be easy, boring, and dumb after a while. but then you take a month or two break from the game, and it's pretty fun again... for a while. ... One of my favorite games of all time!!!!
When I purchased this game the graphics were obviously amazing with the new nintendo 64. I used to play this hours on end, doing the single player missions over and over and also having some friends over to play multiplayer. After the playstation 2 came out I pushed the nintendo 64 over for a few weeks but I found my self slowly returning to some goldeneye along with a few other great nintendo 64 games.
This game ROCKS!!
I purchaced this game many years ago and I have to say it is one of the best games EVER!!!

This is one of my favorite FPS's of all time. It stands right alongside Halo, and Battlefield 1942. The single player missions are done wonderfully, the enviroments are great, and the multiplayer is the best I have ever played.

No other first person shooter even comes close! better than halo,goldeneye,resident evil, silent hill,doom 64, everything!!! really cool,fun cheats and weapons you earn after each level!and great full motion cinema after each level too!good dialog good sound ! very realistic good acting in the cinema scenes too!hard to believe I got this game for only 4 dollars at a used games retailer!Its worth more, definatly.the only thing about this game I dont like is it takes 12-13 years of constantly battling the boss at the end to defeat him,other than that its really awesome.P.S.I still have not defeated the skedar boss yet!!Ok maybe it dont take that long, but its alot of work to win the game!!I still love it!

Back when Perfect Dark was released, it had a generally good reception. (Aside from some Goldeneye fanboys who thought their "IMPERFECT DARK LOL" reviews were clever.) Does it still hold up, two gens later? Sure. At its time, it was easily the best offline multiplayer FPS available. And as a person who's seen every tired Halo/generic military shooter clone, I'd argue that it still retains that position. PD's game mechanics are taken straight from Goldeneye and tweaked somewhat, which led to criticism from people who asserted it was derivative. But with video games, it's better to flesh out and explore the aspects of a previously established niche than to drudge ahead into adventurous territory for the sole virtue of doing something new. PD expands Goldeneye's forumla on every conceivable level. The basics are here; Left and right C buttons strafe, hold R to aim, and press the awesomely-placed Z button to fire. The otherwise awkward N64 controller was practically made for FPSs. The physics though, are far improved. When strafe to get away from a more heavily-armed opponent, you feel as though you're running for your life. If you use a heavy weapon like the reaper, kneel down for improved accuracy and you can wipe corridors clean of foes. Disarm an armed enemy and stand behind him as he surrenders for an improvised human shield. Everything boils down to logic, thus skill usually prevails as opposed to mastery of overly complicated controls, which is PD's strength.

I think better than melee
When i ordered this game from the internet a few years ago the form said 2 to 3 business days (Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday). Unfortunately,I ordered it on a Thursday night. it came on Tuesday. When it came I couldn't stop playing it. it was SO FUN,it may not have as many arenas or characters as melee. but it still has all the favorites, if you buy it you will have hours of fun by yourself, with a friend, with two friends, with three friends, or just switching off with a huge group of people. Super Smash Bros. is the way to go!

Star fox 64
I ordered this game in july 18 2005.This is a fun game but it's better when you have the rumble pak.It can't save but it can vibrate.The game pak can save.When I ordered this game I finished it in one day.When I blew up Anddros'es face it was a electronic Anddross.Andrew and Pigma are on Star Wolf in this one.You can finish it in one day but it's hard.Enjoy!

This game ia amazing. The graphics are outta this world. The controls are pretty easy to learn if you go to training mode or you can just pick the controls up while playing the game! All the levels are when you are in a plane except for a few levels in a tank!! The main objective is to go through different levels intill you come to the level where you kick Andross's butt! You can upgrade your sheild by getting three gold rings and recover sheild by getting silver one. This game is DA' BOMB! Go Starfox 64!!!!!!!!

Simply the Best
The zenith of it's time for "shoot em up" fighter games, Starfox 64 is another "must have" for the person who stubbornly continues to play the N64. All and all, this is probably my favorite game of all time.Tremendous replay value as you try to take different paths to save the Lylat system.Somehow, the gameplay just never gets old.

Bears still can fly
Banjo Tooie was Rareware's sequel to the popular Banjo-Kazooie. Like the original and also Mario 64 before it, Banjo Tooie is about exploring massive worlds, collecting objects, solving puzzles, and fighting bosses. Your goal this time around is to stop Gruntilda, who has returned from the dead in creepy skeletal form and looking to restore her body.
Among the best in the last wave of N64 games
The sequel to the awesome Banjo-Kazooie (which I am planning to re-purchase-I am pretty pissed that I sold it) picks up right where the last game left off. In case you don't know, here's what's happened: Gruntilda, a big green ugly witch, was defeated by the dynamic duo of Banjo and Kazooie and trapped under a boulder as Klungo desperately tries to free her. If you have played the first game and collected all 100 Jiggies in the game, then Mumbo let you in on a few secrets that would be revealed in the next game; as promised, they are! There are also several new protagonists and antagonists.

Not that bad really
Believe it or not. It's incredibly fun. Yes, it may be pokemon, but even people who don't like pokemon should play through this once. The only reason I'm selling mine is because I've played it over and over and over. There's enough to keep you entertained for days and some problem solving is involved as well. The only draw back is that sometimes I had to look up how to make certain creatures evolve and that you have to play the same levels over a few times. Really though, this game is pretty fun and is worth it for a few bucks for a christmas present for someone! Especially pokemon enthusiasts!

Lots of fun, but much too short
Considering this game is used and cheap now for a retired system, I'd recommend a purchase just to see a type of gameplay that Nintendo never tried again. You are a photographer, and have been hired by Professor Oak to document Pokemon living in the wild. You ride through levels on a fixed track, snapping photos. You have a few items at your disposal to help spur the Pokemon into different actions, which racks up better photos and more points. The graphics are somewhat average, but the Pokemon animate well. Controls are easy to master.
Unique, original, creative, and for ALL ages.
I came to this page hoping to find a list of games as creative, playful, and original as Pokemon Snap, but alas: do they exist? I do think of Animal Crossing, though that game dwarfs this one completely.

1080 BORING!

I used to love this game; but now it's dated and now that I look back on it, it's not as fun now, either way, here's my review.
Great Snowboarding Game.
What can I say except for the fact that this is one of the first 3 dimensional snowboarding games to ever come out for the home console. Now, as one of the first genres of its kind to hit the market, you can't expect this game to be perfect, but it is an incredibly fun game. Now, the only lack I have seem to find in this game is the lack of characters. There is only about five of them. The graphics are awesome, considering how old and outdated the n64 graphics are. There are a lot of levels, all of which are pretty long ones too, as well as pretty challenging. There is a huge amount of moves in this game, but sometimes, this can become a little bit tedious. It is actually kind of hard to land big combo tricks, and the controls are frustrating for the moves. In fact, I have had this game for 6 years, and still have yet to pull off the next to impossible 1080. But if you are one of the lucky ones who are fortunate enough to still have a working n64, and don't have this game, than definately add it to your collection of antique n64 games. Not much to say about multiplayer, because it does not really shine in that area. It's just an addition to the things you can do in this game besides beat it. But after you are done beating it, it becomes boring because the only thing you can do after that is try to break your records and race against your friends in vs mode. Overall, I think this is the best snowboarding game to ever come on the market, considering it is also the first. Get this game if you don't have it. It's old, but fun.

A game to help enter another world
This game is very creative and imaginative. I think the story is magnificient and the styles of gameplay that drastically switch to tell the story are great. Dash Rendar is a great character that is believable in the Star Wars universe. The soundtrack is beyond amazing even though not all of it is done by John Williams. A great game and I for one recommend this game to any Star Wars fan.

Fun for me.
I was happy that a Yoshi game came out so I bought it. Most people don't like the music or gameplay but I do. I think it was kind of neat for the to make the enviorment look like cardboard. It's also nice that you can choose what color Yoshi you want. That's my opinion.

Absolutly retarded
This game is so stupid, i don't understand why people like it. There is no real fun in it. For one thing you can't jump/ wich is dumb. and the attack moves are really duel. it sucks! do not buy this game.
It's a classic
This game basicly goes like this. There are 6 worlds, two of which you have to unlock first. So you start out with 4 worlds, a grassy world, a lava world, a water world, and the icy world. There's no order on how you go to the worlds so you pick which world you go to. Each world has 4 levels level 1 is a normal stage level 2 is a semi boss stage level 3 is like level 1 but it's bigger and more complex and level 4 is the boss of the world. Once you beat the boss you beat the world. Beat all 4 of em to unlock the 5th world the Fortress. Once you get all the gold cards you get a new world I like to call the rainbow world;). THE classic
this game was my favourite when I used to have an N64. Infact, I think it still is my alltime favourite game, nothing else has managed to beat it. I miss this game alot, and it infact may be worth buying another n64 just for this game alone.

Great game, it's just not for me.
Okay. So back in 1996, the Nintendo already had Super Mario 64. The addition of the critically acclaimed Wave Race 64 made the Nintendo 64 even more promising over the then-somewhat-struggling PlayStation. Although it may be largely forgotten now after the relative failure of Wave Race: Blue Storm, Wave Race 64 opened to critical raves and is still a cornerstone of Nintendo 64 nostalgia for gamers.

I remember the first time I saw this game... What a beautiful memory.Even though the Nintendo 64 turned out to kinda bust, it was my transition from 2d to 3d games.My first experiences with 3d were with Mario 64.I first played Nintendo 64 at a friend's house, and Wave Race 64 was one of the first games I played.My jaw was hanging for about a half hour.The first thing I saw was Dolphin Park - swimming dolphins, fish, "splashy" sounding music, backflips, barrel rolls, and BEAUTIFUL water.It was too much!What a surreal experience!After I got back up from fainting, my friend and I played this game for HOURS and HOURS and HOURS and HOURS.We would go to Southern Island and tried to find what we could ramp over, go under, and crash into.It sounds pathetic, but I've had some of the best times of my life playing Wave Race 64 with friends.

Great for the N64, but...
If you're looking for a solid racer to fill out your N64 game collection with, F-Zero X is a great choice. The graphics are low on detail, but Nintendo compensated with a huge emphasis on speed. Tracks twist and turn every which way, including death-defying jumps, corkscrews, half pipes, and cylinders. The familar F-Zero soundtrack has been updated too, and keeps the excitment high.

Date 2006, to this date MY FAVORITE GAME EVER!!!
I have got to be honest even if it means sacking my reputation. I have never played a game so much before in my life. I only own the N64 still for this game, I have thrown out all others. This game brings such a Movie like experience along with great missions, craft, and imperial action that I have never seen anything to its likeness. You have got to get this game under all circumstances if you are a Star Wars fan.

Booring Star Wars Game

Well, I'm going to have to agree with Darth Vader on the strong part. But as for the force part, I'm nonchalant. Star Wars Rogue Squadron begins somewhere in between Star Wars Episode IV and Episode VI. Let me just say, you'll be visiting place in the Star Wars universe, and doing missions that have no bearings to the movies, which is good with me. The graphics in the game are some of the best you'll ever see on the N64. The music and the atmosophere of the game are very well done. This is, I would say, the best Star Wars Rogue Squadron game ever made! Oh, and by the way, yes I have played Star Wars Rogue Squadron: Rogue Leader. I fully recommend this game! And thats my review! Underrated Game, Great Bomberman
Recently, I picked up this game and having played almost all the other Bombermans, I thought this would be the same old thing. Plant a bomb, get powerups, so you can kick and throw the bombs. Well, this Bomberman is a completely new formula, and it certainly does well. It mixes throwing bombs, and getting bomb enhancing power ups with jumping and plat forming your way across the 3d landscapes. This game has gotten poor reviews in some Magazines and sites, but I haven't a clue why, they compare it to Mario 64 and say well Mario 64 has a non-linear world to explore and bomberman hero doesn't. Well okay this is Bomberman, a completely different experience that can have linear levels and still keep you up for hours. Also, there is a lack of multiplayer, but if you want a multiplayer version then buy one of the two Bomberman 64 games. What a great game, certainly not the same old bomberman
This game for starters is huge. It has a lot of levels. Just how many there are I have forgotton but lets just say there is a ton of levels. In this game the big difference about this game than any other bomberman game is that Bomberman can jump... Now with Bomberman jumping we have a different game here.

I am bombermans biggest fan and this is one of his best games! The scenes in between can be dramatically ironic which makes it really addictive! The bosses can be difficult, but most of all bagular is tough! He is an uncouth monster creature that morphs into various forms. It is the cartoonish violence and no gore or newd (or lewd.) parts. A fascinating game for the N64
I thought this game was actually very good for a racing game on the N64 so so early of a release. This is before alot of the other much better racing games came out and I was suprised to find such a fun game.
