3-0 out of 5 stars I have to agree with some of the other reviewers. . .
I picked this game up fairly cheap for the PC (I think I paid five bucks for it) because I had heard many good things about it.I loaded it up on my desktop computer (which is only about a year old and not that slow, after all, I had just put in a new video card) and started playing it.I loved the dialogue, the witty banter, and I was generally having a blast playing it until it started to slow waaayy down as I started moving through the game until the characters were moving so sluggishly and swinging their weapons so slowly, they all looked like they were in slow motion (like some of the other reviewers have said.)I gave up on it and took the game to my laptop, which is newer and has a faster processor. It started off at what seemed to be normal speed. The Bard was trotting across the screen and swinging his flail at a rapid pace. Then about chapter four, it started slowing down again, all the way to a point where I couldn't play it anymore. All the fun had been zapped out of it as it took a good hour to swing and chop at four wolves in the forest.Sadly, I abandoned it for the PC, even though I was having a lot of fun with it up until then.I don't understand why it has so many problems running on a PC.Everything was sluggish, like the characters were moving in molasses.I turned down all the game settings, but it didn't seem to help much.If I want to see the game all the way through, I guess I'll have to break down and get it for the Playstation.

3-0 out of 5 stars Game has features InXile hasn't marketed!!
The following is a letter I sent to programmers for "The Bard's Tale".I believe it adequately reflects my feelings for this game:
1-0 out of 5 stars Promising Game- wrecked by implementation
I was an original Bard's Tale enthusiast, and really wanted to like this game. After I got over the fact this was almost NOTHING like the original game, I just looked at it as a new game. Unfortunately, this is basically a console gamer, as others have stated. Absolutely none of a PC's capabilities were used- every house, village and dungeon has to be loaded EVERY single time. The view cannot be changed, and none of the 'standard' PC mouse/cursor interface seems implemented at all. All in all, I was very disappointed. I periodically try and revisit it again, because I DO like the humor, but it's just too painful to play. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Old MMO but still fun.
In some ways Everquest hasn't changed all that much, while in others it is a completely different game from what it was even a year ago. Some things about the game have been drastically improved (like tradeskills) and if you like a more quiet atmosphere on a game server; the population is a little lower these days as most of the kiddies have moved on to World of Warcraft, EQ2, etc.
5-0 out of 5 stars New Progression
There is no game even close to offering the content you will get in this package, even if this was selling at $100. Now is the best time to try EverQuest if you never have due to the new EverQuest Progression servers that slowly unlock content to keep you from being overwhelmed as a new player, as well as bring back memories for older players. Stop regretting not having played during EQ's prime and give her a spin.

5-0 out of 5 stars Everquest Titanium
This bundle of the first 10 expansions was an excellent value. I would recommend this to any player that is looking at a second account or starting out new to the game ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great, but a few flaws i would like to inform
Quake fans, FPS fans, PC gamer fans, whatever, this is a great game. The graphics and sound are great. The story line isnt horrible, however, I wasn't that impressed. The game comes with a bonus CD with 3 different versions of Quake 2 and lots of extras and movie/trailers for quake4. The weapons are fun, and dont take too long to get (unlike some games). You can even get weapon upgrades. Multiplayer is FLIPPIN SWEET!!! This is all adds up to build what i call "great in the most important ways".
4-0 out of 5 stars Great mindless fun and visual eye candy
I was in the market for a mindless shooter that would deliver great visuals, great audio, and lots of shooting, and Quake 4 delivered on all accounts. It's not a perfect game, but it was perfect for what I was looking for at the time. Here is my take on it:
3-0 out of 5 stars In the Dark
All in all, the game wasn't too bad.

3-0 out of 5 stars Doesnt Really Work...
This item I boiught for my PS1 games (Digimon and Monster Rancher 1) because cheats I think are so much fun to use. It wont work on the new mini PS2's which I think stinks becasue it is said it will work on all Playstation models so i advise you to ignore buying this if u have a new miniPS2. Also it works very slow and takes a loarge amount of time to even start the game and put in the cheats.

5-0 out of 5 stars gameshark
though finding codes for this old disc is only by 3rd party sites, (interact sold the rights of gameshark to madcatz and they droppped all products made by interact before a certain year) it works great!i have not yet received mine because its still in the mail but i had one about a year ago that my dog broke so i ordered this one. it comes pre-loaded with tons of codes for alot of games. people complain about freezing, this is inevitable when you stuff in codes made by people, not 3rd party sites. to find codes for games try searching through gamefaqs.com they have f.a.q.'s made by people along time ago which alot of the ps1 games section has gameshark codes faqs.

1-0 out of 5 stars Bad, Bad, Bad
This gameshark sucks.I bought it recently to finally be able to beat Chrono Cross, hoping to finish a hard game.It freezes before it even gets to the main menu screen on a PS2.Where I bought it from said it would work on a PS2 console, which it clearly does not. Also, don't bother looking for any new (any PS1 game past 1999) game codes because it does not have new game's codes. And the official website?Worthless. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended; just turn off the in game music for best experience
So here's my take after having played the game for two weeks.
4-0 out of 5 stars Fast & Furious Speed Demons
There have been so many different racing games that have either been successful at burning full rubber, or there are ones that haven't turned the right corner. For Electronic Arts, they have definitely delivered with the need for speed. Since the Need For Speed franchise came out back in the mid 90's, it has continued to deliver new gamers of all kinds. The feel of the the constant changes in the series have deliver very well, and still do. Need For Speed: Most Wanted really did deliver very well for the consoles like the Nintendo Gamecube, and especially the recent Xbox 360. Now, the PC has a little speed of its own.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game
This game was great. It was fairly long so it didn't bore me easily. The best part about it was the drag racing which never got boring. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars An Example Of How They Treat Their Customers
Remember this is a monthly subscription game. And here is a recent forum post by one of the designers taking jabs at the community:
4-0 out of 5 stars Give it a chance
I've probebly read tons of revews saying how bad the game is or how horrible it has become since NGE, but I say, "At least give it a chance."
3-0 out of 5 stars Star Wars Galaxies -- a n00b jumping on board
Star Wars Galaxies has so much going on for it that it can become overwhelming for a new player. The introduction now has direct interaction with four signature SW characters, which is a HUGE step up from the last version of the game where you had to play for months before you could interact with them. Many of the complicated, user-unfriendly professions are gone, replaced with an easily understandable and attainable profession set. You can actually start out as a Jedi rather than wait weeks upon weeks to maybe get there.

2-0 out of 5 stars Inferior "run - die - respawn" game
Coming from years of playing games like Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, TFC, the Dark Forces series etc., I was compelled to give this game a try because of the vehicles and squad tactics aspects of the game.
4-0 out of 5 stars Not Bad.
Got it the day it was released. If you want my full review read my review of BF2. Not bad but lacking in some areas. I mainly play this over BF2 since I played that game to death even though it is great. The night maps suck, the night vision works well in the dark but if you get into the light it nearly blinds you. I mainly stick to the day maps they are good. I wish they would make day version of the night maps since they would then be good. I like the grappleing hook and zip line. Overall worth your time if you are getting tired of BF2 and want some new maps to play.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great maps
There are some great maps and guns added with this expansion. With the v1.3 patch, the game (and specifically this expansion) is solid enough to give this game praise. When the game first came out, I couldn't have said as much.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Game!!
This is the best basketball game I have ever played on PC....graphics are just mind blowing...game play...and features....not to mention the price...EA really knows how to make games. Download the demo to give it a try first.

5-0 out of 5 stars This game is great
This game has a lot of good features and it is very enjoyable. I recommended this game to anyone that likes basketball games and has a computer that works well with mid level games

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing Basketball Game
This was the best sports game ever when it was released. The dunks in this game are even better than the previous versions. The dynasty mode is fantastic. The freestyle innovations are outstanding. The dribble styles are neat. The competion modes can vary as much as you want them to. This can be as easy or as hard as you want it to be. You get to choose between five difficulties of playing. You can change the abilities of each player in around twenty areas. There are settings for you to change how hard or easy it is for you and the opponent, seperately, to shoot the ball as well as do just about everything else. You can customize current players or make your own made up player that is good or not so good. Created players can be anywhere from five foot tall and one hundred twenty pounds to seven foot six inches tall and three hundred fifty pounds. You can do almost anything involving NBA basketball in this game.

Wasn't the very first Crash Bandicoot game supposed to become one of the all-time greatest Playstation games? That's what Sony thought would happen back in the day. After all, they promoted the game to death.Well look at that... didn't happen! And with good reason. The game is horrible.I can't believe ANYONE would prefer this junk over Sonic the Hedgehog or, especially, the Mario Bros. series.
5-0 out of 5 stars Help
I want to buy this game b/c I love it, but I was wondering if It'll work on my PS2. Does anyone know?

4-0 out of 5 stars My Favorite
Crash Bandicoot's my favorite video game character and all his work is genius.I'm looking forward to his latest video game installment, Crash Tag Team Racing. The game's graphics are good, the gameplay itself sounds amuzing, and the trailer (on GameSpot) prove how visually stunning it's going to be too. But, Crash's humble beginning is not the same as Mario and Sonic's were.It was much better, more creative, and bigger.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Crime Solving Game
This game is so addicting, I almost finished it in one day! The crimes are reasonably hard, not too hard so you get frustrated but not too easy so you get bored. The graphics are excellent, characters are just like on the show. My only problem with the game is that there are only 5 cases!

2-0 out of 5 stars Barely makin it
Although the game itself is awesome, it doesn't play well on my PC.I've had to purchase a new video card just to play it and my PC just isn't as up to date (2 yrs old!) as it needs to be since the makers of the game have made it for newer PC's and obviously to heck with the others.
4-0 out of 5 stars Good but not as strong as the other CSI games
This is a great game, don't get me wrong. It is well worth the money. However, I liked the other CSI computer games better.

2-0 out of 5 stars A lackluster cash-in on a masterpiece
The video game adaption of The Godfather has been lurking on the periphery of my consciousness for awhile. It registered due to my love for The Godfather and The Godfather 2, though I knew enough to not expect much from a video game adaptation of what I consider a flawless masterpiece. I wasn't incorrect, let's say.
3-0 out of 5 stars Average by now
The cool thing about this game is that it revolves around the movie. If your a fan of the movie, then you'll probably enjoy the game because it gives you a look at what the movie didn't show you. The controls are clunky, but I got used to them after changing a few around. Graphics are acceptable, better than GTA at least. This is a GTA clone though, with 100 hidden "Film Reels" (unlocks actual clips of the movie) and all. Gameplay gets boring. After the storyline is finished, it's take over a shop here, take over a front there, blow up a rivals headquarters and so on. AND NOT WORTH IT. I beat the game 100% hoping that something cool would happen. I was dissapointed to get nothing but a lame short video and infinte ammo. Car selection sucks. I couldn't believe it. You'll probably end up driving the same 3 cars over and over again. Only 1 that acually gets some sort of speed. And it's lame when your getting chased by the cops, the computer practically throws them at you. You could be looking behind you with nobody there, then the second you look ahead a cop rams you, setting you car on fire and you to stop and ditch before it explodes. But watching cars explode is awesome, the fire was well done. Music is classic, with the soundtrack laced on it.
2-0 out of 5 stars Skip this One
Played Mafia???Well this is same but with worse music.. slightly better graphics and story... should be.The game gets old and when you become Don guess what... I don't know what to do.No multiplayer.Hard gamer?takes 2-3 days to finish. You'll be bored and $30 for 3 days is a touch on high side wait till it gets down to $10 it is worth that.Oh yaa, get the Magnum upgrade first you'll be glad you did.Print a map on-line the one they send is unusable and getting to map in game is a torture device. ...
