4-0 out of 5 stars We loved it
My 2 5-year-olds and I love this game. A few of the scenes had difficult controls, like the log jumping, but the games were just hard enough to be challenging for them, but not so hard that they couldn't eventually get them, after I'd helped them a couple of times. They improved their mouse control with the map-through-the-shelf puzzle and the crystal-through-the-caves puzzle. The matching games were also at a good level for them. And the mazes were again challenging but not frustrating. They played this for many hours - there are many games in each area, rather than just the 5 of some of the other Barbie games. The graphics seemed fine most of the time. My only irritation was the inability to make a backup copy of the disc - kids are rough on CDs, never mind I had twins and they had to take turns.

1-0 out of 5 stars Zero Stars! (they made me choose at least one!)
I bought this game as soon as I saw it as my daughter and I both love and play all of the other Barbie games by Vivendi Universal.
1-0 out of 5 stars I wish it was longer
I got this game when my mom and I were spending time together. I wish I had not bought it.It's a waste of money.I finished it in a couple of hours and I'll never play with it again. It's maybe more for 4 year olds not 8 years old like me. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Tactical training at its best
SWAT 4 is the best of the hard core serious tactical simulations. This is a pretty authentic game and really fun.I have been a law enforcement officer for 11 years, and SWAT 4 has some training value like Fire Arms Training Simulator and other police trainers.
5-0 out of 5 stars Still an Excellent Game
I am a huge fan of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield so I found this game just recently and decided to go with it based off of other's reviews. I am very happy with it, as it is so similar to Raven Shield in many ways. This is a tactical shooter first and foremost - meaning it is not a run and gun game. You direct (or lead) a four-member SWAT team into rather disturbing real life "situations", NOTE: there is a particularly deviant map at a cult hideout that would make this game a no-go for kids. In this game the goal is to NOT kill suspects unless absolutely necessary, and they push what necessary means. You actually get graded at the end of a round and its very hard to not get points detracted. The varying levels of difficulty require different scores to pass, for instance EASY requires nothing but survival and to not kill key civilians or targets. If you kill without giving threats a ridiculous amount of warning time, you will be penalized (see below). Here are my pros and cons:

1-0 out of 5 stars Copy Protection Breaks Game
I have one of the newer AMD Dual Core processors. After installing this game I attempted to play and it bombed out.
5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome for kids and adults!
I bought this game with the intent to satisfy my 9 year old sons craving for destruction. I was not dissapointed. Flatout has an unbelievable amount of things to smash up, much the glee and amusement of my son and all his friends. I even found myself playing it for the challage of getting through all the maps. The game also has alot of Mods available online that give old maps extended play and new cars to smash. Lan play is a hoot! Especially the Demolition derby. This game is an excellent value!

1-0 out of 5 stars Flatout flatout sucks!!
Don't buy this game because you will forever wonder why you did so. This is the worst racing game I have ever played. The bonus games are crap and are all the same thing. If this was even a decent game there would be a reason to play the bonus games. But, there's not. Sure you get money, but with the best car in the game fully upgraded (why did I waste my time) you can't tell a difference in the race from a crap car. All the upgrades do is take your money and waste your time.

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't bother with this game
Be careful to check the system requirements before you waste your money. I have a fairly new computer and this software will not even install. The NVidia GeForce 3 and 4 cards are not supported. The company tech support said "too bad".

1-0 out of 5 stars Small Market
The makers of this game built it so that you need the latest video and sound cards. They greatly decrease their sales this way by not making it available to a greater audience, ie, people with standard computers, they could even make it playable on Windows 98.
1-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't work
This game would not work. I tried to install multiple times. Always got a Access_exception_violation. No help found at 2k's web site. Buy at your own risk. I had to choose a rate but that wasn't fair because the game doesn't deserve even one star and there was no ability to choose zero. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best thing ever made!
I have read all the reviews about this and so I thought this game was going to work out for a kid like me.So I bought this. The controls are a little junky but who cares about the controls when you can still play this. The bad things about the controls is that some of them are on the mouse and some are on the keyboard. For instance, the attack button and talk button are on the mouse, and the jump control is on the keyboard, the special button is the c key, and the move keys are w,s,d,and,a or the arrow keys. The only other bad thing is that you sometimes can not point your animal in the direction you want him/her in. I cannot imagine anyone not wanting this game. One very good thing about this game is that you can play minigames on this. This includes tiki minigolf, shuffleboard, and lemur rave. Tiki minigolf can be a little hard. You can play with the very crafty penguins,Marty the zebra,Alex the lion,Melman the giraffe, and Gloria the hippo. This is definitely a game I would recommend.P.S. you have to purchase minigames at the zoovanier shop.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Caesar's Ghost! How can I possibly go to bed when my empire is not intact?
I hate to think how many times since I received "Rome: Total War" for Christmas that I have made the mistake of playing one more round before I turned off the computer and went to bed at night. The next thing I know one or more of my cities have revolted and that means I have to crush them so that the city is back under my control before I go to bed. But when you send reinforcements over to make sure you get one city back, another one (or two or three) can revolt and the next thing you know it is 3 in the morning before you have things under control again and allow yourself to quit for the night.

5-0 out of 5 stars Want to have fun?
I know that choice of game is highly subjective. But I happen to love this game more than any other WWII flying game. The graphics are great, and the fun level is superb without being ridiculously difficult. You don't need to read a 700-page manual to get these planes off the ground. The game is intuitive and pure raw fun to fly these babies! I also find the game to be solid, with fewer bugs than most games I play. If you like Crimson Skies, then you may also love this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game
Someone here said there is no speed control for the planes, well i found one, its really hard to find though, you know thing like reading the control menu or taking the basic flight training DO show right away how to slow down and speed up the plane, but i could see how some poeple would not understand a game if they dont try to play it.
3-0 out of 5 stars Great Fun...if you like the genre
Ok, so I've played this game for a little while and I will just give it a 3 out of 5. THe game is good, personally I liked a lot more Combat Flight Simulator 3, great graphics for the time, a wide selection of planes, German, British or American, including "secret planes" or planes that never reached WWII. But in this game, it seems that they focused more on a less realistic experience, and go straight for the action instead. It could have been a fantastic game, if they just added nicer graphics OMG we're in 2006! . If you can spend the money, and you like the genre, give it a try! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Patch works

5-0 out of 5 stars The best game no one ever got to play
I have been looking for this game since I got the demo with my Playstation almost 10 years ago. When I finally spotted it sitting behind the glass at a local game store, I screamed like a little girl and pounced on it the way a falcon catches a hare.I had to have it.
5-0 out of 5 stars This Game Is Addictive As Hell!!
Man, I can't get enough of this game! I once played it about 5 years ago on a demo. I finally found it on eBay for $45 which isn't bad considering how rare the game is. And I've been playing it for the past week now! And I'm not even a big fan of puzzle games. This game's better than Tetris. If you haven't bought this game yet, go get it on eBay. You won't regret it! But do NOT buy it on Amazon. Their sellers charge way too much. The game is very simple to learn, and once you master it, it's awesome.

4-0 out of 5 stars Simple, yet disturbingly addictive
This was the first (and only) puzzle game I've ever bought for a video game console, and it hooked me from the first five minutes of starting it up.

5-0 out of 5 stars Single Player Mode (Good)- Multiplayer Mode (Excellent)
Rainbow SixLockdown:This is the first Rainbow Six version I ever played so I can not compare it to any previous version.Single player haves 16 missions total ,and about 4 or 5 subdivision in each mission. In Single player you are a Squad leader consisting of 4 men.You can command your squad to perform various maneuvers in campaign missions.I am not going to say that the AI are good or bad.It really depends on the squad leader's commands which make the difference. Each mission have certain objectives to complete ,kill terrorists, disarm enemy security systems so you can enter without being noticed, steal and download information from enemy computers, rescue hostages and plenty more objectives. You have an option to equipt your squad and yourself with any weapon and gear. You will be able to choose which character you want to be.Both male and female characters are available.Missions take place all over the world. You are never in the same place. When commanding your squad you use keyboard keys. Each key is assigned to a command.Or you can use a microphone and headset to vocally command your squad. In single player youalso have a choice to start the campaign without your AI.It is called (Lone Wolf mode). The graphics are great. Sound is also good.If your computer system can not handle the graphics and not able to load the game correctly with the automatic setting set, just drop to minimal graphic settings ,and it still looks great.Even though single player is extremely fun, Multiplayer is much more entertaining. You can play different Rainbow SIX lockdownonline modes connected with ubisoft website. One type of multiplayer mode called (CO-OP MODE) - which groups you with 3 other real people not computer generated AI Squad. In this mode there is no leader just a 4 man squad fighting a mass number of computer generated Mercenaries which are extremely skilled ,you and your squad have to complete certain objectives during campaign missions. You work in a group as "An Elite Team" .Since your squad are real people no need to have a leader to give constant commands. Or you can play or create other multiplayer modes. There is (TEAM ADVERSARIAL MODE): which can consist of 16 players at once. You choose the side to be on, either Rainbow or Mercenaries .So if there is 16 players it is 8 against 8: (FREEFOR ALL MODE) - Up to 16 players ,No squad or team in this mode. It's every player for themselves.Duke it out with each other ,something like quake 3 arena. (TERRORIST HUNT MODE)-Eliminate all terriorist in a mission with 3 other online squad members. (RETRIVAL MODE)-This is capture the flag type of game. And lastly (RIVALRY MODE)Team Based Play,Get points by completeing team objectives.Which ever team with the most points wins the match.....In each online game mode you can pick which weapons, gear and character to start the game with. You can also pick which Map to play on.The maps are well detailed and difinity different from each other. If you decide to create your own multiplayer game, you will be able to choose any mode I stated above and have an option to make the game setting normal or difficult. Once you create a game, you wait a little and other players online join the game.Or you can play having some one else create the online game and join their game. You can also communicate with one another during missions or before a mission starts through typing.Microphone and headset is another way to communicate with other players.Multiplayer mode is difinitely non linear .I think Rainbow Six Lockdown is an outstanding game.I do not know why the other reviews of this game were not so good.In multiplayer you have an array of guns and other weapons to choose from before a game starts. You do not need to buy any weapons from Rainbow Six lockdown website as one person's REVIEW stated. Also if people upgrade their computers and graphic cards, there should not be any problem playing this game. For playing multiplayer online, high speed internet is the way to go.There are 5 totally different multiplayer modes. It's like having 5 great games rolled up into one.Take my advice and buy Rainbow Six Lockdown and play multiplayer,{EXCELLENT} .....Play with people from around the globe.Lastly ,Rainbox Six Lockdown Multiplayer is just as good as Battlefield 2 for online playing. The 2 games are not similiar in anyway.I was speaking in terms of fun.Another thing you can do with this game.If you work with co-workers that like online gaming ,this game is it.If you just want to play with your co-workers or friends only, you can create an onlinegame which requires a password to join. .....If you like good tactical squad based games try also Close Combat First to Fight which is great in (single) player mode.

1-0 out of 5 stars What happen to Redstorm Entertainment?
I dont even own this game, but I have seen demos and videos of this game.I have the original RainbowSix game and RogueSpear, with the Urban Operations mission pack, and I also own RS:Covert Ops essential, I also have RS:Blackthorn and both RS:Ravenshield and Athena sword. But this one here looks crazy.Did RedStorm Entertainment hand over copyrights to UBI Soft or something?I'm very shock and disappointed, I notice the New Ghost Recon game has also falling in the same death trap in someways. Is this the way RainbowSix games are going to be like from here on out... I hope not...If so, I will quit here, on buying RainbowSix games. All I know is that RedStorm did a great job with the original RainbowSix games and I will also be a fan of the original ones and RedStorm too.
1-0 out of 5 stars UBI Soft Should Be Ashamed
Like many others I read the reviews before buying.I have a top of the line machine and thought, this will work--I'm sure of it...NOT!Like many others I was not able to do much of anything after waiting for the 7GB of game to install. The game started up and promptly froze 30 sec in.I have looked for a patch, but alas, UBI doesn't read the reviews from AMAZON.COM customers--to bad for them. They should be ashamed to publish a Rainbox title that is broken out of the box. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Better Than The First
This game is better than the first because it has more wrestlers like Rikishi, Kurt Angle, Stephanie, and other players. I used to have this game but i sold it. This game is fun to play. I got this game for christmas in 2001. I sold my playstatiion 1 because i wanted playstation 2 so thats how i sold this game. So for playstation 2 i have WWF Just Bring It and Shut Your Mouth. I don`t watch wrestling as much as i used to.

4-0 out of 5 stars Just as good and in some ways better then the original
This game has the same graphics as the original but has a bigger match list. Hell In The Cell is on the card, TLC, and the Casket match which is lackluster. Season mode is done a little better, but would be greatly enhanced later on in the series. The game looks good, the controls remain the same, which is awesome. This is actually the last platinum game for the PS1 before the PS2, which would actually release one month after this. But congrats to WWE, the games keep getting better.

5-0 out of 5 stars WWF: Smackdown 2
Smackdown:2 is a got to have game. If you have Playstation and you are looking for a good wrestling game, then, you've definetly got to get WWF: Smackdown 2 Know Your Role. This game is very fun with lots of interesting matches. The superstars actually look like the real thing, the graphics are also good. Warning: This game is very addictive, so if you are really a true Smackdown fan, then this a game that you have to own. And the coolest things are

1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible
This game was rushed to release. 2 Patches over 100M and the game still doesn't work right.

1-0 out of 5 stars Kinda Cool Game, No Joystick Support = Return
First let me say that my PC has decent specs (P4 3.2Ghz, 1Gb ram, Radeon X800) and I know my way around it as I built it.I installed this game, had an issue with DirectX as I chose NOT to install the bundled version with the CD because I already have it installed on my PC.The game didn't want to run since I didn't install the DirectX that came with it, so after re-installing the bundled DirectX, everything worked fine...except the joystick.
5-0 out of 5 stars These negative reviews aren't telling the story!
Sucks to be you I guess, If you're one of the other reviewers who couldn't get this game to work because it's really an amazing game and they are totally missing out.Graphics are amazing and very smooth (with my P4 3.4Ghz, EVGA GeForce 7800 card).Game installed without a hitch and played perfectly right away. The missions are quite challenging and fun and the WWII planes are really beautiful.I could come up with some minor gripes - like the repetetive radio signals that come from the enemy pilots...the fact that you can't inflict collateral damage in the scenery (which includes some planes on the ground)...but they are minor and don't take away from the greatness of this game. The multi-player modes are a lot of fun also - you can play over internet, LAN, and even split screen.

1-0 out of 5 stars Midway fails to deliver games, succeeds in spyware.
What a bunch of crap!No music in the games??!?And don't get me started on that copy protection spyware crap they installed on my machine. It messed up my internet connection settings and drained my resources.Didn't you guys learn from Sony et al that customers (or "consumers" if you want to treat us like cattle) don't stand for this crap?

4-0 out of 5 stars Arcade Treasures Deluxe's Soul Burns Brightly - despite few tarnishes
Review Edit #3 (April 5, 2006)!
1-0 out of 5 stars no music in most of the games
This software product lacks background music in most of the games (MK1, MK2, MK3, etc).It also installs a resident driver on your PC for copy protection purposes. This software protection driver adds unecessary resources to your PC, and adds absolutely no beneift to you, or your machine. Because of the music issues alone, you do not get an accurate representation of the arcade games it tries to emulate. I absolutely recommend that you stay away from this product. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars A Cool and Ok bond Game!
Well this may not be goldeneye but sure it is a bond game! It has 10 easy levels, powerful weapons, cool gadgets and for the first time you get to go ski-ing and drive a car! Good movie clips to help propel the story on also! The graphics are poor though especially when driving in the Convoy Mission!
3-0 out of 5 stars Its ok for a cheap shooter
I bought this game because of the N64 game golden eye, this was NOTHING like that. You are in 3rd person mode, and its hard to maneuver almost all of the time. Also, having automatic weapons is no help, the enimy takes its damage and wont take another for about another second or 2, destroying the purpose of having and automatic weapon. The graphics aren't very good either. There is however no bloodshed, making it more suitable for younger people. This is ok, just not like I expected it to be.

1-0 out of 5 stars Very, very bad game
Tomorrow Never Dies is one of the worst action games ever. There are hardly any puzzles to solve, and the puzzles in the game are extremely easy. There was no thought put into this game. Only 10 levels that are SOOO short. There are only about 3-4 hours of gameplay. Weapons were okay, but they were too powerful, and that kind of made the game too easy. I mean, the pistol has UNLIMITED ammo. It also has sixteen bullets per clip, and an extremely fast rate of fire. The pistol can kill regular enemies so easily, and it can even kill the bosses easily. I could beat the whole frikkin' game using the pistol. Also, Bond never dies. The enemies are so dumb that you will never lose. When I play games, I want a challenge... ... Read more

The measure of a good game, like a good movie or book, is the emotional and, sometimes, physical response it elicits.
