2-0 out of 5 stars Two words:complicated & overrated
If you're reading this, you probably love the game and hate my review already simply based on my title. That's fine.I know I'm the small minority that pretty much hate this game. This game is a love it or hate it type of game.
4-0 out of 5 stars Big step from vice city!
I've been playing the GTA series for 4 years now and I decided that Vice City was the very best of all video games ever made!...until I got this game a week ago...The game is so much more like real life in a gang(not that I know, but compare this to vice city and its pretty obvious0. The only reason I gave it a 4-star overall rating is because in two-player roam mode, almost every plane holds only one person(please pardon me if I'm wrong, I only have one PS2 controler...the other one's for PSone). If you liked vice city, you will probably believe there must be a god when you buy this!

3-0 out of 5 stars i was hoping for more
PSYCHONAUTS is a mixed bag. The story is fun and imaginative, and they made a serious attempt to freshen up the traditional platforming activities (finding, collecting, etc.). The dialog is also pretty funny. My problem with the game, however, is with the art direction and character design. Both were clumsy and disappointing.
2-0 out of 5 stars Huge Dissapointment
I got this game because Tim Schafer worked on twoofmy favorite games of all time Grim Fandango and Full Throttle. However, It didn't take long for me to get incredibly bored of this game which reminds me of some souped up version of super mario brothers. It lacks creativity and imagination and is nothing like the lucasarts adventure games I fell in love with as a kid.If you're an early lucas arts fan, save you money and don't buy this game!

5-0 out of 5 stars The best modern day platformer since Super Mario 64
Tim Schafer, the creative genius behind Grim Fandango, masterminded this highly imaginitive platformer.Psychonauts is is one of those games that you have to play to believe, as you play as young Raz; a fledgling psychic who sneaks his way into in a psychic boot camp. There's more, much more to the story than that, but for the sake of spoiling the fun, all that I'll say is that Psychonauts features some of the most imaginitive and inventive level design to be seen in a platformer in quite some time, and because it's from Tim Schafer, there is a twisted and wicked sense of humor throughout.Even on the PS2 the game looks good (the XBox version is superior, but there's nothing wrong here) and the voice acting is some of the best you'll hear in a game. There's hardly any low point to Psychonauts, only being that the game has to come to an end.Do yourself a favor, believe everything you've heard about this critcally acclaimed gem, and go out and pick it up so you can discover the absolute best modern day platformer since Super Mario 64. ... This game is pretty good! The jumps are awsome and missions are okay.A cool game for DUKES OF HAZZARD fans. But still the game can be very frustrating at times. For example, THE CONTROLLS!!!

1-0 out of 5 stars BECAUSE ZERO ISN'T POSSIBLE!
I actually recieved this from a friend of mine, which he bought for $0.98. Anyway, I said that there were television shows that I thought were interesting, but were only sold over in the UK (and so on). He told me that the AR MAX was a REGION X DVD reader. So, I took it home, and decided on buying a TV series that was a Region 2, and just recieved it today, to my surprise (not actually) the damn thing didn't work. Now I'm stuck with a Region 2 DVD with nothing to play it in. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PRODUCT! If you are buying this for the reason that it reads other Regions of DVD's...DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT! It is junk. However, I am thankful that I didn't even buy this product, but it was given to me. I hope that someone planning on buying this, reads my review first. IT'S NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!

1-0 out of 5 stars Zero stars is not an option
I have found only one game out of the many that i have tried that the codes on this thing actually work on.This action replay is basically a twenty dollar or more waste of plastic and the cardboard that it came in.avoid like the plague.

1-0 out of 5 stars TERRIBLE PRODUCT - Costs you more than you paid for!!
AVOID THIS PRODUCT, wait till PS3 with it's Hard drive an hope something better will come out.

5-0 out of 5 stars Almost as good as the movie
This game is one of best games I've ever played. And it could be alittle disgusting because in the game you have to collect eyeballs. I felt like throwing up when I collect one. Anyway, you can also play as a team of four like Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, Puss'N Boots , Gingi, and a new player called Lil'Red. And help them battle various enemies like villagers, pumpkins, knights. Don't rent it it'll be better if you buy it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great game!!
this games is just great, i found funny to play everything in it almost like in the game, the controls are very easy, the graphics are quite nice, and the music too. great choice.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun, but you have to be mean to animals.
This is a fun little game, but it should be longer.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Great Game
I read all the reviews of this game and was a little hesitant to pick up a copy.I loved the 2nd fight night and I have played it backwards and forwards.I am really not into sports games but I really enjoy the boxing games out there. This one is by far one of the best I have played.I think there are some parts to it that could have been better, but that is usually the case with every game.
4-0 out of 5 stars Amazing action, powerful moves.
We love this game, playing alone or with friends it's full of action, you really get into the fights and has a lot of boxers for each category, career mode very detailed.
3-0 out of 5 stars Round two was better- i guess they took one to many head shots
I bought round three because i enjoyed round 2 very much. I have to say it was more than a bit disappointing. The grafts in 3 are much worse. Yourboxer tires out much eiser and their are many styles that you dont get acces to unless you beat certain fighters, but i havent even managed to find most of the fighters yet. Round two was also much easier to use the between round cutman/swelling fixes. Its a good game, but for the money i would suggest round 2 ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome!
This game is awesome.Sure it looks a little gray and dull, but what military shooter dosen't these days. (The Outfit excluded)Fans of Halo beware though because this game is more realistic. Also, be careful , parents, this game has lots of cursing.

5-0 out of 5 stars Burnout 3 Takedown
I rented this game before I bought and liked it so much I just had too buy it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hit, Crash, Win
First off I don't know who put that stinkin rating on the game cause the one I got's rated T not M. I dont know what the xbox version's like thisso i'll tell you the ps2 version. The game is a sim (simulation if you didn't know, and if you didn't know you're way to young and dense to play this game). When you race, you have many options like regular, road rage, time trial, elimination, sprint, face off, and grand prix. You also have 100 crash levels but i'll get to those later. To unlock all of the cars and win all the awards, you have to go into the Burnout 3 World Tour where you try to get gold in everything as events are unlocked all over the world you eventually have to leave the USA and go to Europe and the Far East. While racing, you can takedown a rival or take other risks to grow boost on your ride. Takedowns are when youget a rival driver to crash either into a wall, off a cliff, or just about anythind that gets him, even though he comes back in the race after the crash. You can also crash, but you can use aftertouch after you crash to try to get another car, their are a bunch of other things about racing, but i'll let you get to that on your own.
4-0 out of 5 stars Burnout is fun, yet it still missing something!
Maybe Burnout doesn't hit me as many other reviewer on here or maybe the fact that racing game might not be my favorite type.Regardless burnout is pretty much getting old.The crash are one of the most spectular aspect of this game, and i have to admit.Though my fav mode of this game is the race itself. In fact i absolutely found nothing in the crash mode that make it worthwhile. In fact i believe that the crash mode is just extra.

4-0 out of 5 stars A more realistic MOH
This MOH game brings about many changes in the series. This game is much more realistic, tactical, and much less run-and-gun.Therefore, it is a bit more difficult. You must use cover and peek around corners to efficiently attack enemies. Other new add-ons include:

4-0 out of 5 stars defence?
let me say ive spent at least 100 hours on nfl street one and maybe 15 hours on nfl street 2. 2 things that make this game very bad the defence sucks in this game, yes i know how to use the defence but it takes a long time to force tons of fumbles and interction are luck for the most part. The rosters are like 3 years old and you cant trade players to make your team somewhat updated. This game is good but if your going to play online you better step up your game, because it doesnt matter how good you are offline. They need to make a nfl 3 with updated rosters you can load off the online service.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good
The game is great for a street ball game. But I'm used to games like Blitz. I was kinda disappointed that you can tackle anyone once a play is over...unneccessary roughness is one of the best parts of playing football.

5-0 out of 5 stars NFL Street 2 Rocks!
This is a very fun game. Not really meant to be taken seriously.

5-0 out of 5 stars Ultimate Spider-Man!!!!
Please ingore my first review "Great game although there are some flaws." I didn't have my head on straight. If you ask me I think this game is the best since Maximum Carnage and the recent Spider-Man 2. I am also tired of people saying the webs are too cartoony or it's fun enough to be five stars. It way surpassed Spider-Man 2. Five out of Five stars.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game although there are some flaws

5-0 out of 5 stars best baseball game out there....still
i enjoy the hitting aspect of the game and when you foul off or miss that you get a replay(the little touches)also how you have to move the fielder to go get the ball so you actually have to read the ball of the bat so you won't get shorthopped or you have to charge slow rollers. announcers do get annoying at times but what baseball game has announcers you like. great game. great graphics

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game!
This is the best golf game I have ever played! Fun, technical, and a little extra!

3-0 out of 5 stars Most overated title..don't be fooled
This game is slow, this game is boring. However, it does have very nice scenary. You only get 2 characters to start with so there is a lot of unlocking to do. But the game just isn't interesting enough to make you want to play it again. SORRY Hot Shots, you're getting traded in for another title.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very addicting

5-0 out of 5 stars Best MK ever! Better than Armageddon by far!
All I can say, is this is the BEST MK game ever- even better than Armageddon. The konquest mode is so addicting- just buy it and you will be addicted to it.

4-0 out of 5 stars KABAL all the way !!!!!!!!!!!!!
mortal kombat deception a long awaited game much better than deadly alliance the way u can use the background to kill your opponents is awesome and kabal is by far to me the best playable charecter hes awesome hes fatalities are amazing even in a game red dragon clan leader kills all!! i recommend this game but i further more recomend kabal learn how to use him in the arcade mode and youll be unstoppable!!

3-0 out of 5 stars A mixed bag, complete with variations on Chess, Puzzle Fighting, RPGs and the traditional fighting modes.
I'm one of those Mortal Kombat enthusiasts who sees the past through a pair of the ever-popular rose tinted glasses. Even though I'd never fought a single round of 3-D rendered MK prior to purchasing Deception, I unconsciously deemed every game since that switch to be of lesser quality than their vid-captured predecessors. I'd spent far too many quarters on the first three games in the series to see its trademark live-action cheesiness cast aside in favor of the polygonal rendering and three-dimensional environments that had become all the rage in the fighting genre. In a way, I want to stand by my pre existing pompous, know-it-all attitude. A lot of the charm and personality of the series was based around its B-Movie aura and the macabre sense of humor apparent therein. But the series will likely never be returning to that form, and it's probably for the best to wipe the slate clean and give these new-look MKs a chance before I blindly crap all over them. 5-0 out of 5 stars Funnest game ever
OMG, my parents rented me this game, and it is just too cool. It is like the RA game, but so much better, all the sotres look different, there are new palces to visit like Florida and New York, and you can celebrate holidays in this game like Halloween and Christmas, you can even adopted a pet, and there are new clothes, and you get to meet new Bratz girls and boys, there are also new task to do for the magazine, and new songs for the game, also they have the password thing again, if anyone wants to know a few passwords, one is Stylin, and one is Skatin, so much new stuff I can't even explain it all, but it is tons and tons of fun!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars good concept + frustrating control = BAD GAMEPLAY
I got to give EA credit for this game. The graphic are the coolest i seen in a while.Sound of up to date, not the best only because i don't like Rap, hip hop, or R&B.A little rock would be cool, but then it might not make sense. There are a lot of unlockable in this game, in fact the most fun i had was dressing up my fighter. The story mode SUCK!How could anyone say the story is good is beyond me.Now this is where i had to take away two star from this game, the gameplay. The grapple is the x button instead of the O button like in the smackdown series. This might not matter if you never play any wrestling games, but if you have already play any smackdown games, the control can be very frustrating. Now imagine switching back and forth from smackdown to def jam, and you get what i mean.Let just say that even if you didn't play any smackdown series, the control layout is still too difficult.Another thing i found in the game that could hurt the game was the limited arsenal of moves.Yeah you get a lot of move to unlock, but it only blazing moves. The most move i see in the game was like 5 front grapple and 1 back grapples. This is a sad excuse on the behalf of the producer.Seriously this game lack moves, and is enough to make the game less fun.Thankfully there is more than enough fighter to suit your need.
5-0 out of 5 stars The BEST Game ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This game is the best you should buy it. Even though you don't like Rap or fighting or Wrestling you would love it.I love Rap I even rap never mind that the point is that you would love it.
5-0 out of 5 stars The best ps2 game ever
I absolutely loved this game!
