3-0 out of 5 stars Ehh...
I got this game during the summer expecting it to be great fun. Well...it caught my interest for a few weeks then I just got bored with it. I'd only recomend it to people who do not get bored easily.

3-0 out of 5 stars A bit disappointed
The main reason our family looks forward to fall is because there will be a new DDR game released.DDR Extreme 2 is somewhat of a disappointment.Yes, there are some new songs. But I am getting sick of so many of the same songs from previous games "re-mixed" for the new DDR games.People who play a lot of DDR are craving new songs to play.So why can't we get a version with ALL completely new songs? The other thing we hate: the work you have to go thru to even unlock all of the songs.Who cares about buying clothes & outfits for the dance characters?!We turn off the characters anyway - they're too annoying to leave on.I wish the game was the same format as the older DDR games like Max 2 & Extreme but with ALL NEW songs!I agree with one of the other reviewers - let us all vote for the music we want. This is not at all one of my most played DDR games.DDR Mom in Illinois

5-0 out of 5 stars This Game is Great !
DDR is my favorite game, nowadays. It started out where I just played my nintendo 94 and GameCube all the time.. This all changed when I went to an arcade during summer vacation and saw this big metal thing that had arrows on it. My friend and I were both new to it, and we both sucked. Now almost all of my friends have been rambling on about this new game "DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION" As time went by, more and more of my friends had gotten DDR and I had ended up having to join in the game. The more I played it, the more experience I had gotten. I had played so many different types of DDR; the arcade type, DDRMAX, DDRMAX2, DDRULTRAMIX3...and now my favorite, DDREXTREME2! I can now play the song,'Butterfly' in the arcade and get an 'S'on it! I dont own DDREXTREME2, but I know lots about it, and that im saving up my allowance for it. So in conclusion....

5-0 out of 5 stars Killing people never gets old!
How do you follow up a runaway success like 2001's Grand Theft Auto III? Rockstar North responded a year later with GTA: Vice City, a game that took the gameplay of its predecessor and expanded it considerably. At the same time, Vice City gave the series an extensive and amazing stylistic makeover, drenching the experience in the sights, sounds, and attitude of Miami, Florida from the mid '80s. So where do you go from there? You take it statewide. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas expands the series' concept to encompass three entire cities, as well as the countryside between them. The gameplay similarly expands, packing in some explosive set pieces and amazing action-movie-like thrills while maintaining that same remarkably fun, freefom GTA feel. In short, Rockstar has done it again. San Andreas definitely lives up to the Grand Theft Auto name. In fact, it's arguably the best game in the series.
5-0 out of 5 stars GTA reaturns better than ever!

3-0 out of 5 stars Has Potential
This game has a lot of potential but badly suffers from cut scene overload. The story is very interesting and unfolds very well. The battle system is fine as are the controls. The playing characters keep changing and you don't have control over who you will play in each phase of the game. But that is not so bad as it keeps it interesting. There is a unique feature that allows you to go back to places you have already been and search them for missed treasure. The one nearly fatal problem is the cut scenes. I hit one that was so long that I got to: do some laundry, clean the kitchen, change the kitty litter, and it was still going!! So I went and did the dishes! At least it had the benefit of motivating me to do a lot of house work, so maybe it is a good thing.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Game, But I Just Didn't Enjoy It
There is nothing majorly wrong with this game. The plot is well-developed, the characters are customizable, and the battles are strategic. This is probably primarily subjective, but I just didn't enjoy this game. It's not because there were too many movies--it's because I didn't like the movie.I also didn't like the characters or the villains or for that matter the aesthetics. There were some minor but annoying flaws in the game which further contributed to my displeasure.Which button to press was often counterintuitive, and so I often found myself pressing the wrong button. Also, the game badly needs a journal and/or a destination guide so you know where to go--I once spent one hour doing nothing other than walking around a space ship trying to figure out where to go.

5-0 out of 5 stars Unabashedly biased about this game.
First off, as many people have said, the game is wonderful as a movie--less so as a game itself. I am not a habitual player of RPGs for the sake of their gameplay, however--I stray toward puzzle-solving and instant-action games along the lines of the Ecco the Dolphin and Metroid series, respectively--but I appreciate the intricate storytelling the genre allows for.

2-0 out of 5 stars Less than ideal
I have always been a fan of fighting games. As far as 3D ones go, I have great experience in the Dead or Alive series and proficiency with Soul Calibur 2.I fear that Dead or Alive and Soul Calibur may have spoiled me though.Recently I bought Mortal Kombat Deception and found it horribly awkward* compared to the fluid battles of Soul Calibur or Dead or Alive.I felt the same way when I played Tekken 5.Unlike the graceful and awesome animations of Dead or Alive or Soul Calibur, the movements of the characters in Tekken 5 are unrealistic and absurd.Try out Christie in Tekken 5 for example. Her idle animation is preposterous. If you have access to Dead or Alive 3, try putting out Leifang. Her idle animation is a thing of beauty.Every one of her moves flows perfectly from one to the next. This kind of grace is seriously lacking in the clunky Tekken 5.
5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best fighting games on the ps2.
Fans of this game's genre are always looking for a great fighter for their console, and because their are comparatively far less fighting games, it's quite rare to find a trully impressive one. Tekken, however, has always taken the cake when it comes to a deep, fun, and proffesional fighting experience, and does Tekken 5 have all these great qualities? Definetly.
4-0 out of 5 stars Graphics overhaul, but audio is neglected
To be sure, the graphics have had the most significant update since Tekken 2.And Namco was very careful to keep the gameplay mechanics perfectly in tact.

4-0 out of 5 stars A good but short game
Sly 2: Band of Theives is about the Cooper Gang finishing off Clockwork once and for all. The good thing about this game is that you'll play as Murray and Bently, not just Sly.
5-0 out of 5 stars One of the Greatest Games on PS2
After I played Sly 1, I fell in love with the series but when Sly 2 came out, I loved it even more. I like it that its longer,no one hit kill, funnier and you have cool moves. I recommend this game for everyone and any age.

4-0 out of 5 stars Sly 2: A great improvment
Don't get me wrong: Sly1 was great!...for a while. But -applause for Sucker Punch productions- this game is much better.

The layout of PlayStation2's Dual Shock 2 controller is nearly identical to that of the original PlayStation's Dual Shock controller, which is good news for most gamers. The main new feature is that, when the buttons are pushed, the controller can register how much pressure is being exerted. This adds a completely new dimension to sports, racing, fighting, and more games. Aside from the Start and Select buttons, all of the functions are analog for greater control, a wider variety of operations, and a more compelling interactive experience. Two convex analog thumb pads and two force-feedback solenoid rumblers round out the features. This controller is also compatible with all software that supports the original Dual Shock controller. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Dualshock controller
I've only had this controller for a few days, and I have found that the layout is the same as the black controller. I do wish that the thumb controls were a little softer, as they hurt my thunb while playing an exciting game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Sony Playstation 2 Dualshock Controller Blue
This controller is very nice and probably the best. It works with big and small hands it feals non greasy(unless you have greasy hands) it has a nice vibration if you notice on some of the other controllers the vibration is too big. Now I own a PlayStation 2 and i have played with a lot of other controllers but they dont last the buttons get pushed in the analog is too sensitive etc. Although with this controler ive had it for 2 years and it has yet to break on me and people this is a sensitive object dont slam it it will work well as long as you take care of it. Also the button reaction on this is the quickest I have seen with those big bulky ones the reaction is very bad and sometimes the analogs dont work properly. You may have also seen this controller in black and teal there all the same price and all have the same durability the only differene is the color. I rate this item 5 stars because its the best controller out there.

5-0 out of 5 stars it's a controller
In case you havent' noticed this is a controller not a game. So as far as the controller goes, it works great and I have not had a single problem with it. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE MY OPINION
This game is better than the first champions to me because it has two more characters, and it has all these new weapons, armor, items, and areas to go to. I think this game is also a little like the first one because despite what I put above, this game has the same feel to it and its pretty much the same thing just with different details in the game. But I still recommend this game to anyone looking for a good solid rpg experience.

3-0 out of 5 stars Champions of Norrath competes with itself
If you've played any of the Baldur's Gate series (I've beaten them all) or the previous installment of the EverQuest game for PS2, then you're now familiar with Snowblind Studios' game engine. So familiar, in fact, that you probably can't tell you're playing a different game.
4-0 out of 5 stars cool
This Game is Pretty awesome you can upgrade your character's armor, weapon and powers.I haven't played the first game of the series but this one is good.also there are two more species of creatures to be ( Vah Shir Berserker and Some kind of Shaman) all in all its a good game. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best
Of all the games I've played for the Playstation 2, SOCOM 3 definately takes the cake. The campaign is fairly easy and its only real purpose is to unlock items for online play, and give players practice and familiarization for the game. The online is awsome, huge, and freakin' fun.Lots of people complain that the maps are too large and when you die you could wait a long time.Personally I love the big maps, but if anyone doesn't there are small versions of each map anyway.Vehicles also add a great element to the game; if it weren't for them the game would stink. There is a large addition of weopons and other equipment.Custamizable weapons really makes this game a winner.SOCOM 3 is the best online fun any military style gamer could have.I have had the game since it first came out and I am still having just as much playing it.And now there are even new maps becoming available, and it is sure there are more to come.
5-0 out of 5 stars Best PS2 Game Ever!!!
I was first introduced to the socom series by my bro's PSP version Fireteam Bravo. His next visit, it didn't work so we went to GameStop and bought a PS2, Mem.card, etc., and SOCOM 3. In 3 world locations, terrain, and maps, it is awesome! And the bad guys speak foreign languages and there are subtitles so you can learn what they say. I love the night vision, and the weapons, attachments, pistols, and equipment makes this the closest game that you can get to be a SEAL without sacrificing a thing! ALSV's, Humvees, SUV's and technical pickups are awesome. I never played the online version in the 2 1/2 months I got this game, and its a bummer. The ONLY con(s) is that when you beat the whole game on all the ranks, unlock all the weapons, etc, it gets boring after a while. But wait until the next day, you will be dying to play it! I highly recommend this game!

3-0 out of 5 stars Good game, but enjoyed Socom II better.
Don't get me wrong, I think that Socom III is an excellent game for the Playstation 2. One of the best looking, interactive that I have seen in a long time, but I enjoyed Socom II alot more. I do not care for the large maps. It is not the producers fault, it is the players. Normally it comes down to the last person on the other team, and he or she decides " I'll camp ". Well that means you have to travel all over the map, normally resulting in not finding the person. If you've been killed by the other team or even by your own team member you have to wait along time. In Socom II maps were small enough that gameplay lasted about 2-3 mins a round. That's my only prob with socom 3 really, besides the fact that you had to enter your credit card to access the ranking. I do not like placing my credit card over the internet.

5-0 out of 5 stars Just plain fun
We ordered this game because we had played the demo on another disc, and we thought it was funny. It has been a joy to play and lots of fun. My two sons have enjoyed it inmensely. Non violent, no bloody scenes, no fights, the game is just fun for anyone. I have even played it a couple of times and it seems like the kind of game to enjoy after a stressful day. I recommend it.

5-0 out of 5 stars You'll never get tired of this game!
This game is mysteriously hilarious and always fun to play. You don't exactly "finish" it, like other video games, but are always trying to beat your fastest time, so it doesn't get old as fast. As a matter of fact, we wore out our last copy and this is our second.
5-0 out of 5 stars Katamari love!
Our whole family plays this game! We fell in love with the first Katamari game, but it was frustrating trying to complete each subsequently harder level. This game isn't like that. Each level is different in its own right. Some levels require you to roll faster, some bigger, some of them you have to gather as many of a certain item as you can find.It is challenging without the frustration. You can always go back and try to do better on each level, find the cousin or the present that is hidden...or you can continue on.There is a two player mode also. It's much more fun than the first Katamari.Of course if you don't know the premise of the first game you might not understand the king's and the common peoples' rantings...but it's simple enough.Roll around and get big with your sticky ball. It's addictive! ... For a fan of fighting games, this one surprised me with a one, two punch....believe it! Considering I've only read one issue of Shonen Jump and the Naruto manga, and not seeing the anime at all; I didn't know much about the series. 5-0 out of 5 stars Best Flight sim ever!
This definetly the best air combat game I've played. Though not strictly a flight sim the physics are close enough that it feels real enough and is still crazy fun flying around. The game has an arcade mode where you simply blast planes and boats till you get shot down or meet your target kills. Of course it's the story mode that sells this game which I can't simply go on enough about. Though not that useful in a fight through radio chatter you really get a feel for the personalities of each of your wing mates. There's about 30 missions and it starts off quick with one of your teamates being shot down early and you having a mission to try and retreive them begind enemy lines. Thanks to the enemy secret weapons such a nuke capable sub some battles feel epic as I neared the climax my heart was racing. Though maybe not the best written story in a game I've ever come across it's rare I've ever been so drawn into a story before. An absolutely amazing game

The best thing about this game--even more so than with Ace Combat 4--is how it demands you use strategy in addition to making appropriate choices in which planes your team flies.

5-0 out of 5 stars hours of fun!
My 8 and 10 year old LOVE this. I highly recommed it to anyone. It helps teach kids how to sing with pitches and tones. The kids love to dress up their characters. Even the boys in the neighborhood get invovled. I see this lasting for years to come.

5-0 out of 5 stars Karaoke Revolution Rocks
This game is great for when you have a group of friends come over. It really breaks the ice between you and anybody you may not be familiar with and it is incredibly entertaining.I suggest this game for everybody.

4-0 out of 5 stars GREAT FUN, but limited....
This game is very fun because you are able to change and/or create your own characters in many different ways, there's different games you can play than just plain karaoke, and it has ways of encouraging you to do better. Each location you can choose from has fun things that happen when you sing more in tune, like if you sing on the rooftop of a building, and you're doing AWESOME, a helicopter comes by and starts filming you on live cam! It's a lot like American Idol in how you're glamourized. The only thing I don't like about it is that the song choice is limited. There's ways you can "earn" new songs by doing well, but I wish there was a way you could add more songs to the songlist that we personally could choose. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Almost Perfect
Great Game, and I am picky. Much better than MLB 06.Here are the only negatives:
5-0 out of 5 stars Best baseball game of 2006
This game is by far the best baseball video game to hit stores in 2006. The best game feature in this game is career mode. In this mode you get to create your player and guide him through his journey to his ultimate goal; making it to "The Show." The worst part of career mode is having to start at like the AA level and taking too long to make it to the show, but by the time you make it to the show it is worth it. But if you are one of those guys who just want to get to the show in about 2 minor league seasons have your career set to rookie mode. I was really disapointed when I heard that EA Sports wasn't coming out with a MLB game this year so I bought their college game and after I bought 06 The Show, NCAA 06 has been collecting dust in my basement. This game blew away all of its competition and has my vote 100 percent.

3-0 out of 5 stars Small Problem...
The first time I played this game I was hooked. I enjoy playing on the career mode. You get to controll just about everythnig a real mlb player can do. From asking for a trade, signing a big contract, and to trashing your team's moral. Now I was doing real well with my created person. I was on pace to break the single season hr record and drive in a load of runs. But there was a glitch in the game. It suddenly froze on me and I lost alot of progress. Now it might have been my system, but hearing from friends and other reviews this seems to be common with this game. Don't get me wrong this game is alot of fun. Just be aware of this glitch. ...
