5-0 out of 5 stars The greatest achievement in stealth action as well as the best Metal Gear game to date.
When I first saw the screenshots and trailers for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, I knew I was looking at an entirely different game from what I experienced in its predecessors. Snake was no longer free to hide behind corners, in lockers, or behind furniture. He was in the wild, where it was a live or let die, killed or be killed, a true test of survival. MGS3: Subsistence is an extension of MGS3: Snake Eater, improving on various aspects and adding on new ones at the same time. 5-0 out of 5 stars Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence
MGS3 Subsistence is the updated version of the 2004 gem MGS3 Snake Eater.Everything that was in "Snake Eater" is in this game plus loads of extras let me sum them out for you:
5-0 out of 5 stars Stays true while adding more to the MGS series
Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence is a remake of the 2004 smash hit Snake Eater by Konami, but with some added goodies. This is cool because Subsistence manages to clear up the confusing storyline of the Metal Gear games, yet manages to set in motion that very same confusion. Superb. Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Very good - yet not great - leap over Jedi Outcast
"Jedi Academy" is the latest in a long-line of Star Wars shooter games that began with "Dark Forces" (1994) and followed the adventures of Kyle Katarn and other new Jedi Knights. As with "Jedi Outcast", "Academy" has you fighting various enemies across the Star Wars universe as rendered by the QuakeIII engine.Rather than play Kyle, you lead the fight as Jaden Kors, one of his assistants - an acolyte jedi (who ya' callin' Padawan!?).Looking and sounding little different than Outcast, Academy stands apart in more flexible gameplay. You can alter the appearance of your race, gender, skin color, dress and (before this becomes less a game than some Supreme Court case) your lightsaber.Choose the color and style of your saber - single or double sabers, or the double-bladed saber-staff made famous by Darth Maul in "Episode 1".A semi-centralized structure allows you to play various unconnected levels - each with its own unique challenges and styles - in the order that you choose.
5-0 out of 5 stars Love Jedi Knight
Star Wars Jedi Academy is a lot of fun.I found myself unable to turn off my computer until I finished playing it.I completed Jedi Academy in a little over a week, playing about 2 hours per day on the average.I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes Star Wars. There is nothing like wielding a lightsaber and fighting dark jedi.I found that I rarely used the first person mode with a gun/blaster.The lightsaber was too much fun!!

5-0 out of 5 stars A game for the Jedi in all of us
This is my first Star Wars game I've played as a Jedi and it was the most fun I've had in a pc game. The only trouble I had was in getting used to using my keyboard and mouse to move my player around (only the first few tries). There aren't many choices of species but, the choice of sabers and colors make up for that.

3-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Decent Headset
I originally bought my Sony PS2 headset for SOCOM II, but ended up using it more for internet chats instead on my laptop.Volume control could be a little louder, but overall it's held up for over 2 years without any issues.Be nice if there were a wireless version.

1-0 out of 5 stars Sony Playstation 2 USB Headset
I ended up returning the headset because the earpiece did not work.We used the headset with the Karaoke Revolution game and the microphone worked but no sound came out of the earpiece. After contacting the company I found out that you would only be able to hear your own voice through the earpiece without the music so instead of exchanging it I purchased another hand held microphone. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Finds a middle ground between the mediocrity of the first title and the excellence of the second
In a way, Jak 3 is more of a direct sequel to chapter two than it is a continuation of the storyline that was established in part one. I realize that this was meant to be the end of a journey, a "coming of age" story that follows the title character through his innocence, his adolescence, and finally his ascent into adulthood. Bearing in mind, it's only natural that he'd want to distance himself from the people and places that make him feel like an adventuring child, rather than a self-assured saver of globes. "When I became a man, I put away childish things," after all.
5-0 out of 5 stars Better than all of them

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Racing Game Ever!!!!!!
This game is so fun!! I could not stop playing it. It has many awsome upgrades and cars. It is definetly worth the money. the only down side is no cops but other than that it is awesome!!!
5-0 out of 5 stars Great game
The only problem I had with this game. I use a steering wheel and it keeps locking up but with the game pad it doesn't.
5-0 out of 5 stars this is a pretty cool game
in the game you can customize your car and i thought that was really cool. i got stuck farther into the game and so now it is boring. you really have to be patient while playing the game because you have to find stores and win tons of races.

Rockstar gamesare rocking the gamers world, one more of the great titles from the leaders in adult games.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Beginning of the best game ever
I have all the "Grand Theft" games and this is one of my favs.I highly recommend it and all the others.I recently purchased "Liberty City" Awesome!

5-0 out of 5 stars A great way to release stress!!!
The best way to play this game is to skip the missions and just start havoc in the city.Fight the gangs and police, attack the citizens and steal cars!!If you are able to find some of the cheat codes off the Internet, then this is where the fun really begins! These secrets can give you armor, weapons and even a tank (this is only listing a few)!As always parents, research a video game before you buy it for your 7 year old.

4-0 out of 5 stars Classic Rockstar and A Nice Tribute to The Movie
I remember when The Warriors video game was announced, I was literally counting the days to its release.I grew up in the 80's and "The Warriors" was one of those movies that would appear on "The Movie Channel" on a fairly regular basis. To this day, I can still recite some of the movie's more famous lines. The movie was pure escapism, especially for young suburban teens.
4-0 out of 5 stars You can't count, suckas!
"Mark It Zero" couldn't be more wrong.
1-0 out of 5 stars Rockstar is a joke
I sincerely believe that Rockstar Games is quite possibly the cheapest video game company in the industry today.

Reviews (48)

4-0 out of 5 stars Are this cables gonna work for the PS3 ??
I've read in some other websites that this are gonna be compatible with the PS3. Since the PS3 originally only comes with the traditional wires ( AV cables), im wondering if this cables can deliver an hd signal(hd pic quality).Or im just gonna have to spend some extra bucks in the hdmi cable since i alredy have this component ones.

3-0 out of 5 stars NOT compatible with all component-video TVs (non-HD)
Be aware, even if your TV has component video inputs (i.e., 3 separate color inputs), it may not support this cable. What's worse, your TV manual may not indicate this, thereby creating a lot of confusion. I bought one of these cords but couldn't get a video signal through it, even after trying all the easy solutions I found all over the web. After much investigating and talking to the TV manufacturer (I have a big non-HD Panasonic made in 2005), I discovered that its component inputs only accept signals from a DVD player or similar device, not from a videogame system (again, this is not indicated in the manual). The difference has to do with the nature of the digital signal, something like "interlaced" vs. "noninterlaced" or "480p" vs. "480i." Don't quote me on that, though--I'm not tech savvy and may be getting my terms mixed up a little; the main point is, if you have a non-HD TV, you buy this cord, and you don't get a video signal, it's probably because of the TV, and this limitation may not be in the TV's manual. Very confusing--I realize it's a little unfair to give this product 3 stars because of a problem with my TV (and my own ignorance about the technology), but I'm frustrated with Sony as well for not making this potential incompatibility clear. If their product won't work with some component-video set-ups, they should state that up front (on both the product itself and in the PS2 manual), not bury it in vague fine-print language. So the take-home message is: if you have a non-HD set with component connections and you're in doubt, call your TV manufacturer and make sure the cable is compatible with your set before buying it. Be sure to mention terms like "interlaced" and "480"; even if you're slightly off with the terms, they'll know what you're talking about, and that will help them determine definitively about compatibility; for example, Panasonic was unsure about my set until I started giving them the jargon, and that helped them look up the right technical information. HD TV owners will be fine, though. Hope this helps.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good Product
It works really well and their is no problem with the cable and the enhanced quality of the picture is much better that the original A/V Cables. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best game I've played in a long time!
This game (as said in the title) is one of the best I have played in awhile! I have played it and beat it SIX (6) times! The graphics were great and the gameplay was great. There's two sides to pick from both with different story lines and endings. Now I will say the ending on one side is some-what confuseing at first but I figured it out the second time around.
2-0 out of 5 stars Felt like I was wasting my time
I tried playing this game twice, and both times I got to a point where it was more of a chore than a fun experience.
5-0 out of 5 stars Jack kicks into action!
This game is really fun. It has an amazing and funny storyline. They had very good graphics and funny clips. This game made me laugh out loud plenty of times. It lasts longer than some games I've played where you finish the game in a couple of days and theres no challenge. I really like longer games with a challenge. You can follow people around on there daily schedules and make friends with them. One fun thing about this game is that you can start a fight with anyone if you kick them twice. And when you kick objects you can sometimes get items. I really can't understand how anyone could not like this game. I would rather play this game than play some bloody, gory ,and violent videogame with no story line whatsoever. Its a classic for me, and I really would like to see a sequel. It gets better and better toward the end! Good game three thumbs up! ^-^

4-0 out of 5 stars Not the best
I've been a fan of Ratchet and Clank ever since I played RC1 that I got for my birthday about 3 years ago. I don't think this one is the best in the series. I've beaten it so many times I don't bother keeping track anymore. About half the game is spent doing arena matches which get repetitive after awhile. And Clank is barely in it! But there are good things in this game. The guns are a big reason why I love this series so much, and it's also a reson I gave this 5/5 for fun. Also, the story is pretty good. Ratchet and Clank getting kidnapped and forced to play for Dreadzone is a good story for me. The boss battles are good too. Instead of having Clank with you, you have battle bots Murph and Green. But I perfer Clank alot better, even though Murph and Green are cool.
3-0 out of 5 stars Not enough platforming.
I was realy hoping that It would be more like R&C1 but they didn't do that. It is also to Easy I got all the exterminater cards (you get them for doing things like Beating every level on exterminator the higest dificulty seting). I just play theselevels Tower of Power and Higer Ground just for the platforming elements. I also miss the HakerAnd the gadget like that in evry other game and the only gadget is the swing shot. The niceced feature is that you can buy a flaming wrench and they got rid of the morphing weapon, Rare bolts,Insomniac museam, the extra menu, crats and, Clank. Thebots and comentary ar why I keep it. The cheats are beater this time around and I like the new way of beating chalenges on higer dificylty levels to earn stars to buy skins. Also co-op is not worth playing evry thing takes so long and they get rid of continue points. It's beter playing with the bots. My favorite adition is the landstalker. If they can pull off A R&C Game on this scale I would buy it. But it would be on the PS3. And me owning one is not hapining soon.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great!
I just completed Ratchet: Deadlocked and i have to say i LOVE it! My only problems are that it is too short, and it doesn't really have a story. I liked Ratchet in the suit better than his other costumes even though i missed his cute tail! Some people complain its too easy, well then go onto the hardest setting and you have a challenge there. There are some hard missions, but some are quite simple. I like how they are all 'cut' up into sections so you don't have to go at it all at once. I have to say i missed Clank but having him on the radio or whatever was great and the commentators (??) are HILARIOUS! i was always laughing when Douglas kept exaggerating the name Juaneta or something like that. Anyway, its strange as i would definitely recommend it for a younger audience, except there are some adult jokes in there and it can be quite dark at times. Overall great game but you should stick to Ratchet and Clank 3 or the other ones if you are not into Arena Challenges and more into complex stories. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars I noticed the BS all ins too...
I love poker, I play a lot, I watch it on Tv when I can, its all about seeing and playing hands, the more the better.I've played thousands of hands on this game, due to the extreme long times it takes to play a tournament because short stacks constantly double up also because there are so many crappy all ins and preflop raises that are unbelievable with off suited low cards, and like the guy before me said I can't count the BS straights/flushes that the computer hits, ah everytime. With such crappy hands no real poker player would put their stack at risk with low crappy cards. I don't mind losing, its poker, you're gonna lose, but does it have to be to a BS straight on the river everytime? There also seems to be too many hands that get folded all the way around for the big blind to collect, unless of
