4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game, but drones on.....
I will have to say when I first started playing this game, I was amazed and addicted. It was creative and added features that I've never seen in any of the games I had played before. However, there is one HUGE downfall, the fighting and dungeons go on and on and on, they are not challenge, nor new, they just basically put "bad guys" in the same scenery and background countless times. It will get old very fast.I found myself playing the "drone on dungeons" just to get to some of the extra features.Aside from the dungeons, there is only one other thing I found that took away from the game...and that was the story line. The story makes little sense at times, altough the idea had so much potential near the being, it just gets shady and boring after you progess thoughout the game.
5-0 out of 5 stars Well rounded action-RPG
Dark Cloud 2 will get you ready for Kingdom Hearts! The game mechanics and quality are very similar.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of my favorite games.
I love this game so much.I still have not beat it and I bought it as soon as it came out lol.I like to play games slow plus I was in a coma for 2 months and recovered over the next year.Anyway this is an amazing game. What you must do is build cities up to 100%.You collect the materials from battles or from just going out and buying them. Then you use them to build your towns anyway you want. You can add anything, even if it is not needed. You will get a good feeling when you see your town at 100%.Then you can go into the future and walk through the town and see how it has grown or you can go into the past and see it.The graphics are great and have for a long time been my favorite RPG graphics. The controls are perfect. You can swing your wrench with no trouble at all. Also speaking of your weapon you can upgrade it.It will tell you when you have enough stats to upgrade the weapon.Another cool thing is you have a camera. You can take pictures of stuff and save the pics.Sometimes the puictures will give you an idea to build something.Be it a weapon or even a fish tank to keep you fish in.Yes there are fish and you have to feed them and bread the.It is very fun to get a hook and bait and go fishing in the little lakes and rivers in the game. The last thing I will tell you about is the ridepod. This is something that you ride around in.You can build it up over time and make it look totally diffrent. Also you can add new weapons and make it either fly or ride on weels. What it all comes down to is Dark Cloud 2 is an amazing amazing game.I never ehar that much about it which is crazy because it deserves all tyhe attention.Give it a try won't ya?If you played Dark Cloud and hated it do not worry this is alot diffrent but still the same.If that makes any sense. ... Sam Fisher is back for more espionage and intrigue in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. 5-0 out of 5 stars Splinter Cell`s actully fun! (no joke)
Is this really Splinter Cell? it dosn`t feel like SC. Theres no trial and error, no 3-alarms-and-mission-over-crap. no 1-civilain-death-and-mission-over-crap. Instead of being 90% stealth, it`s more like 40%. And ya-know, this is the first one to actully be fun!!! No really, yeah it`s still a tough game but nowhere near as bad as the last two.And lastly, even though the Xbox is better this game has the best graphics on PS2 period(.)PS: i`m writing this on my PSP`s web-browser so pIease excuse my spelling

4-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Game! But it has some flaws. (Four and a half stars)
This is a great game!! It is very fun and a change of pace from what i usually play. This game doesnt encourage running in guns blazing, in fact on some levels, it doesnt allow it. I hate how on the non leathel missions somebody is shooting at me and all i can do is try to get close enough to knock them out. By time i get close enough, i am usually dead. Co-op is VERY fun and a great way to play with a friend.

4-0 out of 5 stars SPLINTER CELL 3 IS A SWEET GAME.
I have to say Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory(aka Splinter Cell 3,SC3 and SC:CT) is a great game-MUCH better than the suck Pandora Tommorow and original-This is the only Splinter Cell game i actually like.

5-0 out of 5 stars The clone and galatic civil war rules!
I am a star wars fan and this game is cool. The clone wars and the galatic civil war are awsome. Play as the clone troopers, battle droids, rebels or imperials in the hot deserts in tattoine, or the cold landscape of Rhen Var or Hoth.I am definetly going to give this game a second go.Battlefront 2 is great but finish this game first before moving on.

5-0 out of 5 stars Relive the greatest battles of all time!
Relive the greatest star wars battles of all time. Play as the CIS,Republc, rebels or the empire with authentic star warsmusic from episodes 1,2,4,5,and 6. Also play with over ten planets and fifteen enviroments in histoical campain galatic conquest or instit action. Rock on!

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good.
I've owned the game only for a few months. I've been a Star Wars fan for a long time and I just loved it when they came out with this game. I've always wanted to be a Storm trooped trudging through the snow on Hoth to attack the Rebel base and this game actually let's me do just that. The game is overall pretty good, except for the fact that the flying controls aren't really that sensitive so you wouldn't be pulling off any fancy mid-air manuevers in it. On certain levels you also can fight against not only the enemy, but the actual inhabitants of that level. Like on Endor, if you were the fighting agaist the rebels, you would also be fighting against the little Ewoks. Overall a good game, I would suggest buying it. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Swashbuckling fun!
There are a few sections in this game with annoying glitches. Some controls are a bit tricky to get a hang of and don't always work the first time around. You have to be positioned just so to make some of them work.I'm talking about environmental controls, such as opening chests, turning cranks, etc.The fighting controls couldn't be clearer, and add a lot to the game.It makes it seem like not just a hack-your-way-through-it kind of thing, because you get some good moves to work with (including one where you knee your enemies in a very sensitive spot, which is one we just never play in front of our young son because we don't want to give him ideas!).When Jack gets his bombs and Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann get their hatchets, it's even more fun.Every now and then, and I haven't figured this out, but there's a fish barrel to reload hatchets so that Will and Elizabeth are throwing fish instead of hatchets, but it does the same damage.I'm sure this was just the video game programmers having some fun.
1-0 out of 5 stars Worst PS2 Game Ever!!!
-Ok Graphics
5-0 out of 5 stars Pirates of the Caribbean The Legend of Jack Sparrow is GREAT!
I am playing this game with my son and we are having the time of our lives. The characters look very similar to the movie characters, so the graphics are great. The voice of Jack Sparrow is actually Johnny Depp (and he's great). They are witty and comical and the game play is just easy enough for us to be able to manage to get through the levels. We have had to do a few of the levels more than once, but are relieved that we can get through and enjoy the game.

1-0 out of 5 stars Better buy genuine product from console maker
I don't know exactly why it is, but usually memory devices for game console made by 3rd-party manufacturers are inferior in quality. They are cheaper, of course. However, I experienced a couple times of complete data loss from 3rd-party memories from the time of PS1. The situations were all the same: both 3rd-party and genuine memories were inserted to console all the time, yet only 3rd-party one failed.
1-0 out of 5 stars waste of buying a memory card

1-0 out of 5 stars This card sucks

4-0 out of 5 stars Great port, but obviously not as good as the PC original, lol.
The Sims was a great port of an iconic PC game, its one of the most challenging games I`ve ever played on PS2.
4-0 out of 5 stars A Fun Mental Challenge
This is actually the first "simulation" type game that I have played and, overall, I enjoyed the experience. The controls and different style of gameplay did take some getting used to. But eventually I figured out how to play effectively and had fun with it. I almost always finish games to completion. But in the "Get A Life" mode I found myself stuck at the "Party Animals" level, unable to find someone willing to be my new roommate. In the "Play The Sims" mode I made it up to counterfeiter in the career path. But couldn't get past there, as I needed 5 friends and my neighborhood had only four people I was able to call or invite. Any hints on how to get further would be appreciated.
5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Game!!!
One of the best games ever. I loved this game and i've beaten it a million times.(Not that it is easy) It is an addictive game that you can play all the time and never get bored. The graphics aren't the best, but the game makes up for it by being so fun.The Neighborhood mode is great, too. You could play with 4 people.(if you swich off controllers) A standard for all Sims games. It is also a very simple and fun game and pretty realistic. I loved this game and recomend to buy it and play over and over again. Fantastic!!! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Japan's Seedy Underworld Hits the PS2
I really enjoyed playing Yakuza. The designers have taken a typical Japanese entertainment district and transported into the game, complete with convenience stores, hostess bars, strip clubs, pawn shops, etc- right down to the drinks machines on every street corner. They've also taken the criminal world of the Yakuza, stereotypes and all, and transported it into the game.Maybe it's because I live in Japan, but I got a real kick out of playing the "bad but honorable" main character in such familiar surroundings. The only real flaw is the camera control -- the camera gets flaky every once in a while. The player should have full camera control and the auto control could have used more polish. Also, the game earns it's M rating mostly due to language and sexual content and parents should exercise caution when considering buying it for children.

5-0 out of 5 stars An excellent suitable game for Play Station 2
In this game your player's name is Kiryuu Kazuma who is also known as "Dragon of the Dojima Family". In this the people of different families will try to beat you if you go near them and they will say "Hey! You". In this you will also face Street Punks, Yakuza etc. In this you can beat your enemies with Golf Sticks, Bats, Iron Bars, with heavy objects and much more. In this there is our friend 'Nishiki' who later becomes our enemy. In this you can by yourself food, weapons and armor for your protection etc. You can play lice and some other video games in the clubs. For eg. SEGA Club. In this you will enjoy beating up punks or gangsters. But you will get tired after some time beating them up and up. You would be enjoying power upping or upgrading your player. In the first stage we have to collect some debt from a finance president. This is actually a training level. You will see that it we can play the game in freestyle mode wherever you want to go. This is a secret that I'm going to tell you now that in the game you will start with normal difficulty which can be turned into easy difficulty by losing some of the battles and keep retrying for that fight, after certain time it will ask you that whether you want to change it to easy difficulty or not. IMPORTANT thing is that you cannot reverse it back to normal difficulty. Advantages of easy difficult are as follows:
4-0 out of 5 stars Get ready to rumble...
Ever wanted to live the life of a yakuza enforcer without worrying about losing a finger due to a moment of dishonor? Yakuza for the PS2 gives you the closest experience you're likely to have. This blend of Shenmue with a GTA-lite touch (eat to regain health) immerses you in a sprawling Japanese city that has you trying to solve the mystery of what happened to your old "family" and who stole 10 billion yen of yakuza money. Along the way are side missions, mini-games and random fights with street punks to help build up your stats. Wander the streets, romance some ladies, beat the snot out of some thugs and play some games or gamble - it's all good.

4-0 out of 5 stars A totally unique RPG experience
This game does things in an action RPG that have never been done before, while maintaining the core. The character development is great, the soundtrack is great, the value is unprecedented because of the inclusion of a DVD movie. You should absolutely add this game to your collection.

4-0 out of 5 stars An enjoyable war game
I don't like killing my own Germanic or European people but hey it's WWII everybodies whacked out from 2coined politics what do expect. The action is excellent and so are the missions.Sometimes it gets a little redundant that's why I didn't give it 5 stars. It would be a lot more interesting if they made a game or some of these historical missions for European missions.
5-0 out of 5 stars BUYIT!!!
The most awsome world war 2 shooter that I'v ever seen!!!!!!! There is nothing wrong about this game to me!!!!!! 5 star AN EXCELLENT GAME!!!! Well done activision!!!!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars By no means a bad game but just doesn't quite deliver
WW2 shooters never be in short supply and every year more WW2 styled games are released. A couple years agoCall of Duty Finest Hour was released for current systems and it wasn't very good. In 2005 the follow up to Finest Hour was released, Big Red One. This game sports somewhat impressive graphics and manages to assemble a solid atmosphere. But the game really is nothing more than that. It is a fps and the gameplay is pretty standard and the nazis are generally none too intelligent. The game is still pretty solid fun that has it's moments but never really exceeds expectations as a standard WW2 fps shooter. Call of duty 3 is being released on current gen systems and so far it looks like some good improvements are being made but I would question how much effort is going to be put into the PS2 and X-box versian. Anyway Big Red One is a fun rental but really nothing more.

The best thing i have played in my life (so fare) i rented the game and almost made it to the end and boy it is long. Third best was UPA (up you arsenal). I looking forward to the new ratchet and clank on the ps3. The reason i didn't beat going comando is because of stuff like gliches. All in all it's the best game you will rent or buy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Really Good Game
Ratchet and Clank:GC is one of the most greatest games I've ever played. I love the characters, the planet, soundtrack and storyline. I love the replay value on this too and the guns you get.I recommend this game for anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Not in the soul of Ratchet and Clank, but still a wonderful experience
I loved Ratchet and Clank, the first game, with its lush and de-

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent For The Beginners, Slow At First For The Advanced...
Overall, Supernova is a fun (eventually challenging) play, but not the best DDR out there, in my opinion. (Extreme 2 and Max 2 are my favorites.)I enjoyed the trance/dance songs from previous games, and Supernova seems to be lacking in those. It does have plenty of licensed songs, and I like a lot of them, though they seem a little slow if you're used to the fast-paced trance/dance songs.

4-0 out of 5 stars Another Classic in the Warriors Line
Samurai Warriors 2 is another chapter in the Dynasty Warriors / Samurai Warriors line. You get a warrior with a long weapon who bashes his way through thousands of enemies.
3-0 out of 5 stars Samurai Warriors Version 2.0
Don't let the "2" at the end of this title fool you. It's basically an upgrade to the first Samurai Warriors. It features most (if not all) the same basic elements and hardly improves over the first one at all.Once again Koei has given us a basic hack and slash game.As if the slew of Dynasty Warriors games wasn't enough.Samurai Warriors isn't really all that different than any of Koei's other hack and slash games.
4-0 out of 5 stars Want mindless button mashing...?YES PLEASE.
These types of beat-em up games get alot of flack and criticism because they lack depth and innovation, but sometimes the same old goodness is what's needed.I'm a huge fan of dynasty warriors and I think this game is just another solid addition to that type of play. There's some new variations, but overall its same thing, which isn't always a bad thing. People seem to think that games should just get more and more complicated, thus making them better, but that's not always the case. There's got to be a market for people who just want to mindlessly beat dudes up and not think about much else.
