A heart pounding racing game
Burnout Revenge takes Burnout 3 to the next level.The same excitemet and destruction and awesome graphics.But it adds two new race types and adds shortcuts (something that was needed VERY badly in the last one).One of the few problems I have with Burnout Revenge is that there is no customization of the vehicles and the vehicles you do get often times are not differnt from the others.But the game still kicks major butt and deserves to be in any gamers collection.

NASCAR 07?
First, one thing needs to be put out of the way before I start this review.NASCAR Racing 2003 by Papyrus for the PC is a vastly superior game, that's pretty much accepted in the sim racing world.However, comparing NR2003 to NASCAR 07 or other releases is like comparing apples to oranges.Platform games are, in nature, supposed to appeal to a wider audience than PC games, which is probably one of the reasons why EA's NASCAR releases are not as realistic as they can (and really should) be.
Just 06 repackaged with new cars.
First of all, something really needs to be done here about morons giving things five star reviews before they're even released (see the review of this game that was submitted in June).

THIS GAME IS OKAY, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CARS?
If you like cars, this is the game for you.Buy it!You won't be disapointed, I wasn't.The few things that this game didn't include was the CUSTOM SOUNDTRACK option.This is not a very good thing, partially because the standard music is really bad, and that the songs repeat over, and over, and over, and over, and... well you get the picture.The second thing that I didn't like about NSFU2 was that there wasn't a great selection of cars in the Xbox version.Once you get to Level 2, the guidebook says that you will get an Audi TT, a Hummer H2, and many other cars.When I reached Level 2, all I got was the basic cars (Honda Civic, Mazda Miata, etc.) and an Escalade and Lincoln Navigator.HUH?! When I got to the shop and looked at the prices for the car parts, I nearly fainted.They were way more money then any pro-gamer could accumulate during 3 hours of play.Well, then there is the sense of speed.What is this all about!?The cars (not including the Miata) were very slow.
Driven To Speed
I always have been in the mood for all different kinds of video games, but the most excited I actually feel over are the fast and furious racing games. While there have been some great games like Mario Kart and the wild San Francisco Rush from the arcade days, I definitely have been becoming a big fan of the Need For Speed franchise. The game series definitely has delivered for gamers young and old like the pursuiting of the police in Hot Pursuit 2, and the recently well-received conjured Most Wanted. While the thrill of the chase has been outrageous, the deep souls of the street racing underground has been kind of a surprise to me.
Fun Game....Useless Story Line
Overall, NFSU2 is a fun game.This game packs plenty of customization, open ended game play, decent soundtrack, and good graphics. Oh yeah, there is aslo some racing, which there are various types of racing.Also there is a range of difficulty; some races are easy to win, while others may take a few attempts to win. This could have easily been a five star game, but for some unknown reason, NFSU2 also includes several cut scenes that features a comic book style story line that does nothing to enhance the game in anyway at all. In fact, I thought the story line took away from the overall enjoyment of the game.The good news about the story line is that you can skip it with a press of a button. I would suggest using the button very strongly, unless you have a dissapointment fetish, skip it, because there is no payoff for sitting through it.I learned that thehard way. One other flaw of the game, there is a ton of product placement, but unlike the story line, it doesn't really have an imact on the gameplay. ... Read more

Freaking Awesome
In my opinion, most people don't really want to pay the $50 firsthand for a new game is because in case they don't like it or just don't have the money/are cheap. I'm one of the cheap people. However, I got this game, and I can hardly quit playing it. I've only had it for a few days and it's insane. I've been a big fan of the NFS series, although I'm not too crazy about Hot Pursuit 2. Just something about it, I don't know. But when I started playing this, it just makes me more in tune with the game. I love the aspects of customizing the cars and the variety of races as well as the infractions one can get during the pursuits. The ONLY thing that I don't like about the game is that the performance tuning isn't like the set up in NFSU2. That is my only problem. These games have caused me to have an interest in the older cars and dream of having one of them for my own. This is a great game and definitely a must-have.

Awesome game really fun and thrilling
What I like about the need for speed games are that all the controls are the same so if you can drive on one you can drive on all. I started out on need for speed underground 2 and switched over to most wanted without any problems. This game is fun because it takes a while to beat even if you play it hours on end.

The greatest racing game on the market today
I'm a big video game player and have tried out racing games since the days of Sega Genesis, but this trumps them all as the best racing game I've ever played.
Top Of The Heap. A#1 Racing game
This title is simply a Gem. A fun factory. At the price of $20 or below, buying this title is like getting away with armed robbery at a bank. Bizarre creations and Microsoft Game Studios took home the whole wedding cake with Project Gotham Racing 2. I found this game so good that I had to go back to the store to buy several more copies of it for select family members and colleagues that have a need for speed. If you get to play it online against other ADULTS, it might just hook you for at least a week and you might find yourself playing online as soon as getting home from work for a little while as I did. I still can't believe I did that. This game is not a simulation game, it's not a Gran Turismo killer, nor does it try to be; it's simply an addictive arcade racing game. With a decent TV and component cables, you can appreciate the great graphics this game has to offer. Hook it up to a surround sound system and you're THERE. The music is great too but you can load your own favorite tunes to listen to while you burn some rubber, lead the pack and [...] your pants. This is the only game ever, besides Need For Speed 3: Hot pursuit, that I can just turn on and let the music play like a radio. Specifically, the showroom music in PGR2, while I have a drink and take care of different things around the living room on Friday nites. If you have an Xbox and a need for speed that the law can't let you safisty in the real world, step into PGR2 and quench your thirst. This game is highly recommended.

Awesome Game!
This is probably my all time favorite car racing game.I LOVE IT!The only one that might be slightly better is the PSP version.But that's because I can take that version with me.
One of the Greatest Games Period.
Takedown is simply one of the greatest games made.The games main attraction is that it encourages you to take unnecessary risks (such as big jumps, driving in the wrong lane, and crashing other cars) by awarding you with boost or turbo.The system works extremely well.The game setup is another attraction.It is setup in a map feature where you can jump from event to event.At all times multiple events will be unlocked allowing you to progress even if you can't complete one race.This keeps the fun coming and allows most people to finish the majority of the game.Takedown has a great sense of speed.Your palms will sweat and your eyes sting, becuase if you blink its over.

Awesome Game!
Star Wars Battlefront allows you to play as some of the best troops ever, such as the Rebel Alliance, Imperials, Republic, and CIS (Confederacy of Independent Systems). The 3-D graphics make it easier to enjoy; as well for sound and storyline. In Battlefront, you can not play as featured characters in the saga, but you get to fight alongside them in epic duels. Another disadvantage is you can't wield a lightsaber either. InInstant Action, you get to pick any location, and any side to fight for. You also have the choice to choose clone wars and galactic civil war.
My 2nd favorite star wars game of all time
I'm not a 1st/3rd person shooter fan.But this game's graphics and sheer re-playability won me over.I actually played Battlefront II before I, but the original seems much much better than the sequel.

Money well spent
This game is a blast!The controls are a little tricky at first but once I got the hang of it the game rocks.Great graphics and zoom ability to see facial expressions.The computer version has a lot more to do within the game then the other versions.Super fun!

Addicting
The sims 2 on xbox is one of the best games I have ever played. You have the ability to control your sims every move. This game is very addicting and provides many hours of fun and enjoyment. The sims 2 on xbox is good for people that don't have a powerful enough to play the pc version. However the xbox game does not include the ability for your sims to age. But it is still a very fun game and it provides many hours of fun.

This game's levels are impossible to beat without replaying them 10- 30 times each, sometimes 50 times.If you enjoy repeating and repeating the same actions until you are destroyed at the same spot on a level, this game is for you.

It's A Go...
I was intrigued by the degree of the reviews of this game and being a Galactica fan myself when it first aired, curiosity got the best of me. I give it a big thumbs up.

Visually beautiful, awesome physics (about halfway between real world and the TV series, usually in your favor), perfect soundtrack and voice acting.Story and technology is a seamless blend of old and new series ideas, and the viper is the most fun-to-fly vehicle in any game I've played.

A great substitute for GTA, especially for younger kids.
This game is definetly the best Simpsons game ever.I personally enjoyed the free-roam style, and since I'm not allowed to own GTA, this is a great alternative.Theres not much violence to speak of, the only thing that may be considered violent is when you run over pedestrians.Nothing happens to them, they just yell at you and get back up.You can also get out on foot and attack the peds with kicks, but again nothing happens.There is plenty of interactivity in the game, for example, when you go into the Kwik-e-mart, you can make the slushee machine blow up and squirt slushie all over the place.The driving controls aren't that bad, but they could be better.The missions aren't too repetitive, but they are sort of thin, and its easy to see the same concept was used for many of the missions.One mission has you collecting loose monkeys that are spread throughout the city (which hardly seems redone anywhere else in the game) The game does best with the different areas split up, because it would take far too long to get from one end of Springfield to the other.I've played GTA before, and its probably the easiest game to get lost in.Simpsons Hit and Run is a good alternative as a non-violent Grand Theft Auto, the grpahics are pretty good, the voices are straight from the actors of the show, the music is good.It even has a dialogue control, so if you are offended by minor swearing, you can turn off voices. (Just remember to trun them back on to watch the awesome cut scenes)

Same old Simpsons but wacky new game!
This game is fun because you get to play as all the Simpsons in their crazy wacky world. This game is also full of Simpsons humor with lame jokes and gags. On this game you get to drive around in multible cars and compete in races and missions. Also the cheats for this game are super fun you can make your car invincible or faster or when you honk your horn your car jumps 50 feet in the air!

For any Simpsons Lover. Period.

When america wanted food we gave them McDonald's, when America wanted entertainment we gave them Carowind's, now when America wanted a game with infinate replayability we gave them GTA. Rockstar never ceases to amaze soceity what with their controversial game's that we can't help, but to love. Trust me people these are the games that you want. Stealing cars, blowing things up, killing the public and ruling the world never get's old. Many side missions, huge landscapes, plains, motorcycles........ THE WORLD!!!!! Just look out for the cops.

The Truth about Dukes of Hazzard Return of the General Lee...
Hello again and let me be the first one to say that this was a step out of my ordinary, as I don't play alot of racing games. However I have played the other two Dukes of Hazzard games made for PSX1 and will not be leaving reviews for these titles. I feel in a nutshell that this game, Dukes of Hazzard Return of the General Lee for PSX2, delivered in all the areas that the first two titles failed.

MX vs. ATV unleashed
This game is amazing!I bought it 2 days ago and have been playing it ever since.The MX races are cool but I haven't tried the ATV races yet.The amount of extras like gear and vehicles is amazing. You can race in helicopters, planes, dune buggies, sand rails, monster trucks, trophy trucks, and golf carts, as well as bikes and ATV's.The graphics are pretty good and the free ride is awesome.Overall the game gets a 5 out of 5.You need to get up and buy this game now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worth it for off-road fans
When my roommate moved out and took his PS2, the series of ATV: Off Road Fury games were the only games I really missed that X-Box didn't have.MXvATV:U more than fills the void.

Crash and burn never felt so good.
If you enjoyed the first installment of Flat Out...you'll love the second edition. Improvements are: 1. your computer controlled competors (CPU) racers are "smarter" they also have names, profiles, unique cars and styles of driving. Somehow, psychologically, it's easier to get pumped about smashing "Jason Carter" than "car number 7". Graphics are more polished and vibrant. A much more expanded "games" section and derby section also. If you are a fan of the "Need for Speed" series or any hyper-real (i.e., crazy) style of racing game...give Flat Out 2 a go. One last thing...of my buddies who don't own game systems...this is the game they request to play when they come over every time. It's easy to pick up and play and enjoy as a novice but rewards persistance, style and calculated risk taking if you stick with it over time. ... Read more

All of the sudden, 3D happened and I personally don't think SEGA ever realized the proper way to reinvent Sonic for the next generation like Nintendo did with their mascot. I still think they're missing their jump by a mile. Sonic Riders is not a good game by any stretch, and I think that someone in the development squad at SEGA needs to learn what unemployment feels like, because they're losing a lot of lives by missing that same jump.
